It really makes me think how all of you guys really like and appreciate my art, and the fact that so many people encourage me to keep doing it, it brings me to tears! 🥹

I bring this up because I think Tumblr is the REASON why I improved so much! I experimented with brushes (digitally) and I found my brushes!! I learned how to EXAGGERATE AND ACTUALLY DRAW CARTOONY LIKE I’VE WANTED TO FOR SO LONG!!

(And NEVER took an art class. That’s fucking what- 💀 I need to take one I actually need to at this point-)

Also also also- I’ve learned a lot of things! Anatomy, exaggerative expression, stretchy cartooniness, ALL OF THESE ARE JUST- I can’t believe I’ve learned all this because one day I decided: “Maybe I should ACTUALLY get a social media for my art? 🤔” AND I DID IT AND CHANGED MY LIFE‼️‼️‼️

I actually love Vulcans’ self control and I love it when they’re portrayed as very purposely composed and level headed, like there’s just something about them appearing emotionless because they put in so much effort and discipline into it

But I do love jokes about the small things getting to them, like they’re perfectly in control of themselves after getting hit with some weird pollen while everyone else is affected but then later on you do a stupid lil pun and they have to walk away quickly so they don’t show any emotion

FRIENDS! I HAVE ANOTHER PRAISE! I applied for a volunteer position at a hospital (it’s something to help towards getting into the program I want to get into in college) even though I knew there wasn’t likely to be an opening for me at the specific place or the specific position, and it took AGES for anyone to get back with me and to work things out, but now its fallen into place and I’ll be able to get the ball rolling!

Your art is like those things that are squishy and when you apply pressure they pop and they're really sweet and full of flavored water inside. It's also kinda like thick whipped cream and like the visual of scooping it out of the mixing bowl. My perception shifts slightly based on which character you're drawing but it's usually one of those :D

I reread some of the old manga pages for the first time in a while tonight and you know what? I’m actually really happy with them! Sure the old art is old and gross, but overall, I’ve done a good job!

So this is going to be a very reactionary, emotional post, and I hope I’m proven wrong, but I need to talk about it.

I do not fucking understand what the point was of killing Bakugo if Deku is not the one that saves him.

And before anyone jumps down my throat, no it’s not because I’m a BKDK shopper or because I think Deku is the only person ALLOWED to save Bakugo. It’s because, unless Hori pulls some crazy ass bullshit, nothing narratively can top a pro hero literally sacrificing himself by folding into a heart to keep Bakugo alive.

The narrative has been set up from chapter 1 that Deku wants to save Bakugo with his own hands. Time and time again, Deku is either unsuccessful in rescuing Bakugo or has to have assistance (and yes I count chapter 1 as well, All Might saved them both from the sludge villain). This is the final arc, so logic would dictate that to fulfill this character arc, Deku would finally save Bakugo just like he tried to do all those years ago at the river. It sates Deku’s need to be a hero and also means Bakugo has grown enough as a person to let himself be rescued.

But now? What the fuck is gonna top this?

And why even do this now? There has to be something else going on, cause otherwise this is so frustrating. Bakugo would be miserable to find out another person essentially gave their life for him, and it would be super weird if he just walked around with Edgeshot as a heart from now on. Also, Bakugo just decided in 362 that he HAD to fight AFO even though he was injured. He basically died because the plot said so, and none of his friends were around to eve REACT to it

If THIS is all we get out of it then I’m gonna be majorly disappointed.
