I really miss the romantic tropes in Disney. That's what made a lot of the classics even magical in the first place. I'm sick and tired of the familial love and uniting the community themes (leave that to Pixar PLEASE).

People are genuinely just trying to drag each other down, I feel.

Today my coworker asked what I did before I started working at the bakery and I told her I studied illustration, but since it can be difficult to build up a whole life as an illustrator this instant, I chose to take on this job instead for now. Then she asked about my age and I told her I’m 28 years old.

She then looked at me belittling. After I asked about what her deal is, she said at my age, I should have it all together. And I fucking hate her for that.

I am not too old. I am taking longer because of my own reasons that aren’t her business. But how dare telling a person you barely even know, that they’re doing something wrong or that they are taking to long!

How absolutely thoughtless can one person be to judge someone after spending just 5 hours next to each other. She has no right to make her assumptions.

I’m just really really angry about that.

Someone deadass said that Talia doesn’t get enough hate and that she has always been a terrible person. Okay then.

1. Are you kidding me? She doesn’t get enough hate? Everytime I post a TikTok about her, some asshole comes barging in telling me that she’s awful. And I’m not the only Talia fan to receive this treatment. She’s constantly being shit on by both fans of DC and writers themselves. Especially when people want to drool all over Selina. So, shut the fuck up. You clearly don’t pay any attention to the discourse around her.

2. She’s always been this way? Yeah, bullshit. If you bothered to read any of her older comics, you would know that’s not true. From the 70s-90s she was portrayed as morally grey, yes. But she was also portrayed as kind, loving, compassionate, smart. It wasn’t until 2005 that she got fucked over by a writing. We’re just now getting past that with more recent comics. But y’all want to desperately cling to the SA storyline despite the fact that it hasn’t been canon in over 10 years.

3. If you don’t like Talia, don’t put your rants about how she’s an awful person under her tag. The anti Talia tag exists for a reason. I don’t feel bad for you for any shit you get on that stupid ass post. Have a good day.

Nex’s death is more fuel to the fire of proof and sorrow that schools are not safe as institutions or locations for LGBTQ+ and BIPOC individuals. Yet, even in their death, people still disrespect them. The news about their murder deadnames and misgenders them. Some even go as far as to claim their transness had nothing to do with their death. It had so much to do with it. If not for transphobia someone would call for help faster, if not for transphobia they wouldn’t be beaten, if not for transphobia they wouldn’t be in that bathroom at all.

If any of the monsters responsible for this read this: You murdered a child. You murdered an innocent child. Maybe you didn’t strike them yourself but you may as well have. Go to hell and die again, you killers of children.

There’s a good chance that when I die the wrong name will be on my tombstone.

I work in retail, and I often get misgendered as a girl. I was expecting to get misgendered, just, misgendered as a boy. After all, over 2 and a half years on hormones, top surgery, and I sing as a bass in choir, I would think I would pass better as a boy. I would rather pass as a boy.
