…okaaaaay...unpacking this because….look at it.

A refresher for those of you who aren’t completely brain-rotted like me; this interaction takes place in the midst of the IDW Metal Virus arc. This is after Sonic tries to redeem Metal.

Now onto my thoughts.

Sonic is exhausted. He lacks sleep from having to continuously run to fight off the metal virus but he’s still takes the time to talk to Metal. Why? Because he cares. He cares about Metal even after Metal goes back to Eggman.

I think it’s clear that Sonic still wants to help Metal. His comments are far too petty for him to not. I think he could be throwing out Gemerl and Omega’s names to show Metal that he would be welcomed if he were to turn over a new leaf.

Sonic sounds hurt. He sounds like a bitter ex in all honesty.

I think another detail that’s nteresting is how Sonic is upset, yes, and he calls Metal out for running back to Eggman, but he doesn’t blame him. Even when it can be inferred on Sonic’s part (and aswe know) that Metal was the one that caused Eggman to regain his memories and start the Metal Virus.

Metal is, although only partially, responsible. But Sonic doesn’t blame him for it. He blames him for turning him away but not for causing the virus.

You could take that as Sonic not realizing metal inadvertently caused it, but Sonic isn’t stupid. I think he knows.

But why not mention it? It would be so easy to pin the blame on Metal. So why doesn’t he?

I think it’s partially Sonic knowing what it feels like to have the blame thrusted on him. He’d been facing a lot of flack from the resistance over the virus, but I think there’s more.

I think Sonic knows how dependent Metal is on Eggman. That’s his father. Metal runs back to Eggman because that’s all he knows. And I think Sonic sympathizes with that. Even if he wishes Metal would change (change for him) he can’t blame him for going back to the guy.

Tl;dr, Sonic is in love with Metal, you can’t prove me wrong.

Im genuinely so obsessed and will forever be obsessed with the way love is portrayed in Hannibal, it’s so impactful even if it’s not particularly healthy love. They need each other and throughout the whole series thats painfully clear to the viewer. The love Hannibal and Will have for each other is almost obnoxious to those around them, it’s like they gave their souls to one another without a single word of discussion about it beforehand. They know they have the other till death, they know they’re both obsessed with the other but in the many attempts to stop it from worsening, they fail. They’re soulmates no matter how hard one tries to get away. In the end they’ve given in completely and the ending scene shows how trusting and accepting they are of each others decisions and feelings.

Am I the only one getting a very Jewish vibe from the Mandalorian?

Persecuted group living in exile from ancestral home

Ancestral home was decimated by an imperial power

Greatly reduced numbers

Long to return home, but have been told it is impossible

Memory of what was lost is still a source of great pain

Has a large number of rituals/traditions

on one hand I’m getting better at organizing and uploading all of my hangman recordings for later reference/use. on the other hand I have to upgrade to more storage and start paying a monthly fee (small one, but still). all because I like looking at this dummy and making stupid moving pictures of this dummy and I want easy access to a private library of footage at my immediate disposal

Yea the ending was bad. But to cope I present evidence:

1. The metatron asked about the name of Nina’s coffee shop, presenting the audience with 2 options: coffee or death.

2. The metatron offers Aziraphale coffee just before the job

3. There is an obvious cut where there is time for more conversation between them

3. Aziraphale knows that Crowley does not want to go back to heaven

4. Aziraphale knows that Crowley would do anything to save Aziraphale if he knew he was in trouble

5. The metatron asks how well Crowley took it, not if he was coming

6. When the metatron first joins the conversation, he says that the archangels don’t have the ability to unwrite people from the book of life, which may imply that he does

7. We have seen Aziraphale lie more often than Crowley about big and small things

Conclusion

A. The metatron gave Aziraphale two choices in the end of the conversation that we don’t see. The deal (coffee) or death/to be unwritten for him/Crowley/both

B. Aziraphale has some kind of plan, hopefully, or just didn’t want Crowley to be hurt by going to heaven/fighting the metatron for him, so lied.
