Hehehe I know its kinda late and I should be eeping but I had question

How does Raph feel about finding his brothers? Is he the closets with one? (Aside from leo ofc) And which one does he worry about the most?

Raph, being the oldest, has kinda vague memories of The Incident, so he remembers having someone there, not exactly siblings but someone that he protected.

When Mikey found him he was weirded out at first, because who wouldn’t be? But he figured “Draxum wanted his creations (plural) so it makes sense.” What he wasn’t expecting was two more siblings and a rat dad.

He feels a little weird about being part of a family, especially one that actually looks like him, since he was kind of taken care of by Sunita and her family for a while, but he still remained more like a close friend than a family member. He doesn’t exactly know how to fit into it, so he ends up being a little overbearing at times, and doesn’t fully know how to act around Splinter.

He’s very close with Mikey, since they actually had Sibling Bonding Time first. Mikey’s the only one allowed to touch Raph’s shell, the only one allowed to calm him down, and the only one Raph fully trusts, believe it or not.

He tries to get to know Donnie, but unfortunately that man is a hermit among hermits and would get shell rot before he made small talk with literally anyone. So Raph definitely worries about him a lot. But in all honesty he worries about Leo the most. Leo’s in a shit situation where she feels like she has to be the responsible one 100% of the time, so they’re always stressed out, and because of the whole twin thing, Raph is hyper aware of that. He tried to take some of the pressure off by trying to lead in place of Leo on occasion, but it usually doesn’t work.

Raph knows he can carry Mikey if their legs give out, or get Donnie to sleep at a reasonable hour, but he doesn’t know how to handle Leo. He tries to go solely off of whatever vibe the twintuition gives him, but he’s no therapist. And he refuses to go to Splinter for help because in his mind, Splinter is the one who abandoned him, so there’s no trust there.

Alright so after my rewatch and rereading of Trigun I have come to a couple conclusions. These are in order of when I think of them

1. The current anime while not at all manga accurate does add some amazing scenes and characters that I’d be sad to see gone in the new adaptation (assuming that the new one is a more to the story remake)

2. This is a massive spoiler—

if Wolfwood’s death is more manga accurate I will actually break down completely and never recover

3. The anime will be so much longer and I’m so down for that (once again assuming the anime is a remake true to the manga)

4. I’ll probably be happy no matter how it goes

5. If they don’t at least make references to the original soundtrack I’ll probably cry

6. I think newer animation will do Trigun Justice but if they fuck it up somehow like that shitty 3D crap I’ll commit arson

7. I do and don’t wanna see black hair Vash animated

8. I hope the anime erases that weird ass romance thing with Meryl they kept trying to do in the current adaptation

9. If they do a more true retelling we’re gonna be seeing some Neon Genesis type shit, it’ll be amazing and I’m totally here for it

10. God I am so fucking excited for this anime to come out

11. If they don’t have continue to have B.D.N smoke straight up sparklers in the new anime I’ll be extremely sad
