what a fucking week (it’s 2 pm on a monday)

#i’m gonna have a very therapeutic lay on the ground for an hour tonight #i’m so fucking exhausted #also unrelated but vaguely related #the other day i told my supervisor i didn’t know how to do something she asked me to do #which was very hard for me! bc i’m not good at asking for help bc i don’t like to be annoying #anyways i asked her on friday and she never responded and i was like ‘ok she’s probably gone for the weekend and she’ll answer on monday’ #then i looked today and she just reacted with a 👍 to my message instead of. telling me how to do it #so i’m still stressed out about that but. girl i am so tired #i also promised myself i won’t get high in the middle of the week this week. so this is a test from god #and i may fail that test #we’ll try again next week #personal

I would just *love* to have a random conversation with an abled person where they don’t say “Well you’ve got such a great attitude!” or “My disabled dad just sits in the house doing nothing even though his doctor tells him he’s got to exercise!”.

Because I just can’t “play along and be one of the “good disabled people”,” I end up telling them how much I need to pace to manage to be wherever I am at that time, how much of my life I end up being stuck in bed when I don’t want to be, how much of a struggle it is to do basic and household self-maintenance a big chunk of the time. Because I can’t stand the idea of being used as a whip to beat some other disabled or chronically ill person with because someone saw a tiny snapshot of my life and decided they knew everything about me.

I usually just wanted to buy a thing or pat their dog.

#had a dentist appointment this morning #then had to go to work #bought myself a few things #got home around 8:20 #had dinner #watched a bit of gilmore girls and supernatural #then had to unpack groceries #and almost had a meltdown #i feel like i’m doing so much around the house #and nobody else is doing anything #and like i was at work all day after my appointment #and it just feels like so much of the organization/cleaning of the house is on me #i’m so fucking exhausted #and i have to work an 8 hour shift tomorrow! #and i couldn’t even actually cry because i always shove it down! so. #anyway #just showered and now am gonna go to bed #it’s almost 11 so not bad i might read a bit of fanfic if i have the brain power #vent post ig lmao
