hhhhhhh i need someone in my fandom be into burps bc i neeeeeed burping headcannons for the guys i like😭😭😭😭 i cant make them myself and i know i’ll never get them:’)
Anon, I see you and feel this so much. It's hard being into something a bit more out there kink-wise or fandom-wise, but the intersection of both is even tougher. Believe me, I know how much it sucks for there to not be anything out there!
BUT while it might not be optimal, not all hope is lost. It never hurts to ask around in kink spaces if anyone else is into [x media]. Or alternately, simply try daydreaming. It might sound silly, but a good dose of fantasizing and seeing where your mind takes you can be a great way to come up with hcs. You don't have to do anything more with them or share them (though you always could)- sometimes there can be something enjoyable about finding kinky joy in daydreams all for yourself.
Omg honestly, there is art being posted & just not being acknowledged. There are posts from artists I have been following for years that I’ve seen bomb quite honestly. & I’m not knocking the anon, maybe they haven’t seen it or it’s not their vibe, but there is so much going unloved. I’m not an artist but I just can’t imagine how this feels after spending probably days on a piece. I’m sorry I’m just rambling here & this isn’t your prob I just get upset at seeing GOOD shit by GOOD people flopping!
LOUDER ANON! THIS IS THE TRUEST SONG I’VE EVER HEARD 🔊🔊🔊
you’re right. you’re absolutely right. & i was trying to sing it gently in that last ask because there has been a slow down in terms of the frequency that people were posting & also in users that are active FOR SURE. but to then finally put out a piece to have it bomb fucking S U C K S! & it’s happening to everyone. even, like you said, some of the ones who’ve been around the longest.
a general rule of thumb: if you like seeing more & new art, engage with the art as it comes! let the creator know that you loved it! hype them up! it takes guts & effort to put shit out!
but also what a great opportunity to shout-out some recent faves:
art for honeycomb by @heymrspatel
@deathclassic & @mikhailoisbaby are regularly making art, as well as running "draw this in your style" challenges. check out molly's for ian (round-up post) & harvey's for mickey + pup!

I love second hand book shops, I got to them frequently and always leave with Something and have a good time just peakin around
But i gotta say
It's one of the Worst spots for me in terms of imposter syndrome
I feel like everyone's uneasey with my presence as though i'm a stranger who just stumbled into their inner sanctum and they're.. they're gunna let me stay but they're gunna be weirded out the whole time and breath a sigh of relief when the Strange Unwelcome Freak Leaves
It also happens at record shops and sometimes at small antique shops or cons+festivals
Just this immediate foreboding of being Angrily Tolerated in a Space I Don't Belong
oc asks: character design edition @gcldensnitch thanks for the ask!
for meera israni:
does your oc have any scars, piercings, tattoos, or other markings? do they display or cover them up at all?
meera often has some acne marks on her skin that she wants to cover up completely but she becomes more merciful to her skin as she grows up.
what's your oc's lazy-day look? how do they like to dress when they're winding down?
she actually looooves to wind down and take a break from trying to look perfect. she likes to dress warm and comfortable. her feet are easily cold so she wears warm soft socks.
does your oc have a favorite article of clothing or accessory? what is it? what's the meaning behind it? do they wear it all the time or do they wear it sparingly to keep it safe?
she has a trusty little black dress that she adores.
I saw your tags from the post a while ago about how the small details in totk Make up for the main story, and while I agree, I gotta say that the things some people say about the story being bare bones or whatever (and BOTW’s story to that extent) just…doesn’t make sense to me. Because I think the problem is with the execution rather than the writing. Like, BOTW was even more bare bones, because it was just a bunch of exposition. Not to say the story wasn’t good because it absolutely is, but it was minimal, imo. Anyway I said all that to say that I personally do think that totk has the better story, but the execution is worse and I think the open world format hurts it. And I think if people could look past that they could see how good it is. But of course that’s all just me. Neither game’s story is particularly great but I love them both. Anyway I did not intend for this to get so long but what do you think about that? I’m just curious 🙂
Sorry this took me a while to respond anon, I was trying to think of a way to respond XD
Yeah, I can definitely agree that the open world aspect hurts the story of Tears. I was thinking about this earlier, and I think Breath of the Wild's story worked because it is so barebones. The developers were able to develop the story around the gameplay, which has always been Nintendo's adjective for both of these games (and probably all of their games, though I am not too much on an expert on that in all honesty) first and foremost. And it worked, for the most part.
I do believe there can be no "perfect" Zelda game, and especially not one that can appease all Zelda fans (even the games that everyone praises to be perfect has their haters, though I guess hate is too strong of a word). I think the main downfall of Tears of the Kingdom was that it couldn't live up to fan's expectations and wants for the Zelda franchise. Tears of the Kingdom was always meant to be BotW+, since the developers had so many ideas for Breath of the Wild they had to make a second game in order to fit all of those ideas, which led to them repeating the same gameplay mechanics as Breath of the Wild.
Don't get me wrong, TotK's gameplay is good since it what made Breath of the Wild good as well, but because it's exactly like Breath of the Wild is what made it sour in the minds of players. I guess for the players who played other kinds of games in between Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom allowing them time to do something else, it isn't so bad. But for the players who play nothing but Zelda games or who were late into getting into the Zelda franchise (such as myself) it can be a little... repetitive (and I'm mainly talking about the quests, shrines, and the same mechanic of unlocking a terminal in a dungeon found in both botw and totk). Hence why I was so drawn all to the other world discoveries not unlocked by doing a side quest, which I think is the greatest improvement TotK brought imo.
In terms of TotK's story... I don't hate it exactly, but I will say I will prefer BotW's better. I still kind of need to analyze the story of TotK fully for myself to draw any real conclusions for me; my biggest problem is how it completely erases BotW's story from it's story. Sure, half a dozen years has passed in between games (both in-game and irl) but surely the impact of defeating the Calamity would've left something... bigger. Like, wouldn't word have gone around that Link was the one to have defeated the darkness looming the castle? They could've at least acknowledged him directly instead of pulling a Tony Hawk and saying "oh you have the same name as that guy who defeated that evil some time ago". I will give them the benefit of the doubt, but then again everyone knows Zelda and he has never her side so, ???. Sorry, didn't mean to rant there. It was kind of a frustration I felt along with many others while playing the game. Main story-wise I don't have any real issues other than you're seriously telling me that there was another ancient civilization before the previous civilization that had even more ancient technology? It kind of pushes my suspension of disbelief (and once again repeating things from BotW).
Anyways, thank you for sharing your opinion anon! Once again I am immensely sorry it took me this long to come to it; tldr in my opinion I prefer Breath of the Wild's story over TotK's. You do make a lot of good points that I agree with, but I think it boils down to personal preference over which game is better due to how similar the games are, which can be a good thing or a bad thing depending on opinion.
Thank you so much for reaching out and discussing this with me!
I wanted to thank you again for participating in my little random survey! If you are interested in the results, I would love to tag you once I collected enough data and put everything into some kind of conclusion!
It's probably not gonna be much more than a general "what is the average sleep deprivation of some tumblr artists" tho...
(ᵕ—ᴗ—)
If you don't want to be mentioned in the post, than that's also fine :)
Again, thank you a lot for participating and charing your experience! :D
Julissa!! Hi!! Thanks for the questions and I hope your day is going well!
7. what animal do you look forward to seeing when you visit an aquarium? Oooh, I love the sea otters! They are just out there being cute and zen, swimming around. Wish that was me. Also, every time I see them, I think about how they sleep holding hands and my heart feels like it will explode.
11. anything from your childhood you’ve held on to? I am way too sentimental so there's quite a bit. There's my first stuffed animal that I took with me to pre-K for naptime every day. I have the few diary entries from all the diaries I attempted to start that detail my adorable little kid problems, like wanting black hair and almost fainting because someone I liked shared a chair with me. I still have greeting cards from family and friends, some necklaces and rings I used to love to wear and my first ever nail polish.
12. what’s your favorite or go-to outfit? My favorite things to wear are my slightly oversized band or movie/tv show tees, leggings and Doc Martens. When I want to look a tad more presentable, i'll go for skinny jeans and one of my favorite knit sweaters in the colder months or one of my two long dresses and sandals for the summer months. However, if life was fair, I'd spend my days in a one of those zip-up pajama onesies so I could always be comfortable and warm. 😋
oooh lilia with moth wings or silver with snowy morning?
behold! a sleepy boi :)
[id: a digital half-body drawing of silver from twisted wonderland. he's drawn and colored in monochrome shades of light blueish-purple. he's tightly gripping a pillow and wearing a dazed expression, with half-lidded eyes and a bit of drool by his mouth, as if he's just woken up. /end id]
ough the thing is I do really like Lia with the braids + the shaved parts after giving them to her highschool design... am i really gonna change an ocs design right after finally making a reference sheet for the first time in ten thousand years......maybe (also some blobby chibis of bibi and eri are here)
What do you think Dion and Raz's relationship was like prior to him running away? Dion was Very Pissed at him in-game so you don't really get much indication of their usual dynamic, aside from that line about Dion showing Raz the dive trick and maybe the clairvoyant image Dion has of him
I think Dion tries very much to be the Good Older Brother. Like he's internalized that he needs to be some kind of role model for his little siblings. That becomes really fucking hard with a kid as rebellious as Raz.
Raz, being the platonic ideal of the Middle Child, probably didn't appreciate Dion trying to teach him things in the context. And then Dion didn't appreciate having his self-image as Big Brother challenged.
Buuuuuuut I can imagine Raz and Dion would have a good relationship outside of that? They might actually have been playmates at one point. Maybe Dion taught Raz the dive trick in a happier context for both of them. I don't think either of them want to have each other out of their lives, but neither of them are emotionally mature enough to know how to start talking about their respective issues (even right at the end, Dion's just starting to chip away at his own prejudice about psychics, probably going to take a bit for him to actually start thinking about how it made Raz feel.)
I think that's where the punching bag thing comes in: Right now, Dion sees Raz as the main cause of his family's woes, and maybe that's true for their most immediate troubles, but we know that a lot of their problems are generational and go back years. Dion's directing his anger at Raz because he's the most concrete reason their family is in conflict. I...do think they should have changed the punching bag thing. I mean, they changed Norma's clairvoyance! And she was WAY less willing to admit she was wrong!
