yn wasn't going to keep texting him that's what she said. she was wrong, she found herself clicking the Instagram app opening his messages. she found herself texting him everyday, as the time passed soon or later they exchanged numbers. the more they talked, the more she found out about him.

she knew he was three years older but it was fine! he didn't seem to have bad intentions. she loved the way he would give her pet names or responding quickly. yn just felt like she could fall in love again after her ex situation.

the two soon or later began calling after two months of charles begging, she finally gave in. "so.. are you gonna say something or just be staring at the screen?" yn spoke softly looking into her camera. his grin widened, "you have a hot voice too-" she stared at her screen for awhile before replying, "ok I'm hanging up now-"

he was the sweetest once they met, he wrapped an arm around her waist instantly. charles pecked her cheek and looked at her with a wide smile.

"hey"

she smiled back,

they were happy for awhile, why wouldn't they? charles would take her on the most expensive dates yet. he would have her by his side no matter what the occasion. when it was race day, she was there even when he lost terribly. she would always be there for him.

but they weren't official, she never thought he would take this long to ask her to his official girlfriend. when she confronted about it to him, he always said the same thing.

"I do want you to be my girlfriend. It's just I want to plan it out perfectly just for you, my girl"

she should've never believed him. she should've started getting suspicious when he suddenly stopped asking her to go to his races occasionally. but she didn't question it, just brushing it off thinking he was just busy that's all.

yn just thought he was busy that's all. he's a celebrity and celebrities are always busy, right? it wasn't until a week later where he finally invited her to a dinner celebration with other f1 drivers. his hand resting on her lower back the majority of the time as he whispered sweet nothings in her ear.

"you should've not worn this dress. you look out of this world" he whispered in her ear before placing a peck on her cheek. she felt herself start forming a smile at his compliment. no matter how hard she tried not give him an reaction she always failed. the sweetness from him quickly ended when he left her alone in the table going to chat along with the other boys.

she was incredibly bored, one of her fingers tapping the table. she didn't know anyone in the celebration. the girlfriends of the other drivers were in their own world not even paying attention to her. yn was safe to say she felt excluded by everyone here. she would've been talking to lily but lily seemed to skip this dinner party this time.

20 minutes ended up passing by, she felt incredibly small at this point. she flinched slightly feeling someone tap her shoulder. her gaze shifted to the person next to her. he was smiling at her widely. "hey! did charles dumbass leave you here alone?" yn chuckled slightly. "I guess he got too caught up with the others" he hummed with her response.

"I'm lando" she hummed giving him a soft smile, "lando? alright im yn" he grinned this time showing off his pearly whites. "yn, what a pretty name for a pretty girl" she laughed shaking her head.

she placed her chin on her hand taking in his appearance, "I would compliment you back but I don't think I can" he leaned closer to her. "oh really? why? is charles your boyfriend now?" she was going to say yes but he wasn't her boyfriend. "well not yet. though I only have eyes on him" lando tilted his head and leaned back onto his chair. "if I was him I would've made you my girlfriend already by the third month" his words made her heart sting.

the ride back to the hotel was silent. when the two had step inside charles closed the door behind them leaning against the door. "didn't know you were all smiles with lando" yn sat on the edge of the bed looking at him. "what? he was just keeping me company" she frowned, why was he acting like this?

"stay away from him pretty, he just wants to steal you from me" he spoke softly as he walked in front of her. "you can do that for me right?" his hand brushed her strand of hairs away from her eyes. she was a weak women, "yeah I can" charles smiled satisfied he grip her chin up placing a kiss on her lips. he slowly pushed her down onto the bed. "so good to me, yeah?" he heavily breathed.

"god, let's get you out of this dress"

yn felt stupid for waiting his notifications. she wonder what went wrong was it because she responded too quickly? she didn't know but she was tired. she was tired of his excuses for not asking her out officially. she was tired of him responding so late to her lately.

he spammed her for almost a week but that quickly ended. she was heartbroken, who wouldn't be though? she hated the fact that he just was experimenting around with her. that same week he was spotted with a girl with blonde hair. it broke her, so she did what any girl would do after a situation.

she instantly went insane, crying to sad songs on blast. she clearly looked like a mess, it didn't help that after that her fall semester started. people stared at her like she was crazy. her hair was always in a messy hairstyle she didn't even bother wearing makeup or dressing up.

"you seriously need to get over him" her best friend said through the phone screen. yn looked at her with a frown, "i seriously cannot" the friend sighed shaking her head softly. "that's because you keep making it worse. I say dye your hair blonde and post just to show him you'll look good in any hair color" yn raised her eyebrows as she fixed the camera on the call.

"isn't that just making me seem desperate though?"

"well, if he texts you just ignore him. hey who knows maybe another driver will text you" she winked teasing.

"I don't think so... charles didn't let me talk to any of them" she sighed flopping down on her bed again.

"and? he isn't here now is he?"

Guillermo tells us how to feel.

Like, consistently. He is the closest thing we have to an audience surrogate and HE tells us what our baseline expectations should be based on his reaction to the world. Luring virgins to a house of vampires to be murdered? All in a day's work! Chopping them up into bits and burying them in the backyard? Gross, but necessary! Re-deading your ex-wives in a Bachelor parody? Morally questionable but I'm not gonna stop you. Hypnotizing a man so many times his brain explodes and he dies? Sounds sad but can't talk, I'm embezzling and committing fraud atm. WWDITS is close to being an anti-comedy like IASIP or Seinfeld because the main characters are all awful people who commit terrible atrocities, but we DO care about them and their happiness because we are given that baseline to work from and know what to take seriously and what to laugh at.

The reason s4e9 felt so cruel was because Guillermo responded to it that way. Because HE was hurt and HE was upset and the last shot of the episode was his heart breaking on screen!! We are SUPPOSED to feel how he feels!! All season things have been getting better for him; he has been more appreciated and respected and has taken more control of his life and now the rug is pulled out from under him again. He/we are left wondering: Guillermo, what now? Is all this still worth it? Is it time for you to leave?

The vampires, as a rule, NO NOT CARE ABOUT HUMANS. They're livestock and free labor and occasional entertainment, and that's the way it's always been. (We haven't even talked about the fact that Nadja killed Sofia Coppola 😂😂😂) Vamps are too long-lived and jaded and used to killing to live for it to be any other way. Humans are playthings!! Unfortunately, that includes Nandor's wives. It includes Marwa, it includes Guillermo's family, and it includes Freddie. But it's starting to NOT include Guillermo.

Like Nandor, we are supposed to FEEL THE GAME ENDING. He was having fun, making a new human to play with because he was bored of his old one and getting to spend time with his best…man and literally could not compute that any of this would be upsetting to Guillermo. Because why would it? They're only toys, they can always get more. (Here, Guillermo is already held separate and above other humans)

But Guillermo was upset! He was angry! He didn't think it was fun, he didn't think it was a game, and this human was IMPORTANT to him and we see Nandor falter, stumble over his words, get quiet and soft and ashamed. The comedy is over and he stops having fun. And he does his best (best is debatable but he is very stupid) to fix it!!

Idk if these events will be specifically addressed next ep because we have important Colin things to do and there had to have been a decent time skip between Freddie leaving and Memo going to London, but I want to point out that THIS IS THE DARKEST HOUR MOMENT. Nadja is losing her club, Laszlo is losing his boy, Colin is losing his youth, Nandor lost his wife/boytoy and Guillermo's trust, and Guillermo lost his boyfriend and got his heart broken for the upteenth time. Things SUCK FOR EVERYONE right now - and that's the point!! Ep 9 of season 3 ended with Colin Robinson DYING. Next ep, things will start to look up. Right before something insane happens that makes everything SIGNIFICANTLY worse and leaves us on a year-long cliffhanger! 😃 And I for one am excited to see it lmao

(Also Marwa sidenote bc look how they massacred my girl:

I will miss Marwa and I'm sad about her (I know not everyone was fond of her like I was lol but idk if the writers expected anyone to feel a way about her regardless), and I'm left thinking "is this even Marwa?" If she has none of her own memories or body or personality left, can we even consider it her? Does Marwa no longer exist? May be the best outcome for her mental state if she now exists only in 1300s Al Qolindar again lol. But if the wishes get reversed or something else happens to return her to Marwadom I'm hopeful she will pull a Derek and return one day!! Wwdits is well known for bringing back one-off characters, and Marwa was a season regular in like 7/10 episodes so I'm not giving up on her yet... My fanart will continue.)

first of all, in order to discuse this, I need to establish the Really Big Changes between that movie and comics canon because... yeah, they're huge lol.

in the comics, Bruce and Jason's relationship had been fracturing in his last days as robin, because Bruce suspect Jason of pushing a rapist with diplomatic immunity from a balcony (the comic leaves this ambiguous. I prefer it this way). with terrible timing, Jason finds out that the mother that raised him wasn't his biological mother, so he sets out on a search for new family. after a whole international quest, he finds her... and she gives him up to the Joker in order to cover her *check's notes* embezzling crimes. the rest is history.

Jason is not brought back by the Lazarus Pit (and Ra's certainly wanted nothing to do with him lol). he awakes one day on his coffin because of comic-typical nonsense (alternate version of superman punched the world?? and it "set things right" because Jason was never "meant" to die). he digs his way out, gets hit by a car, gets taken to a hospital, stays in a comma, awakens but ~catatonic, escapes and wanders the streets stealing and sharing food with the homeless... then a league ally finds him, Talia al Ghul is informed, and takes Jason under her wing. when he's not healing fast enough for Ra's tastes and he wants to take Jason a way to the farm, Talia throws him into the Pit without Ra's permision.

in their final confrontation, Bruce is far less calm and doesn't throw the batarang to Jason's hand: he throws it to his neck, with potential lethal force, to fully stop him. then the Joker blows things up. it's kind of implied that Jason dies, but maybe the same magic (there's a purple light thingy?) took effect, so he eventually returns to annoy Dick in New York and briefly turn into a tentacled monster. that's not relevant here though.

oh, and Black Mask didn't need to free the Joker. he was already chilling in some amusement park, as he does. while Batman did... eh. who knows.

there are other, less important changes. because comics are weird and quirky and inherently hard to adapt in a way general audiences will take seriously. a very funny one is that the assassin Jason kills when he and Bruce are fighting side by side calls himself Captain Nazi.

okay so. I have MIXED FEELINGS about the film, precisely because of these changes (well, minus the Captain Nazi one, but that is REALLY funny of Jason, imo). I like it a lot... but I'm also bummed it removes Talia's importance... and that it backs the post-death narrative pushed by DC that Jason died because he was "reckless"/eagerly violent as Robin... the changes pertaining Bruce... and most of all, Jason's resurrection (again, I get it's comics-weird. But I really like the digging-out-of-one's-grave's motif!! and it could've easily been left ambiguous - the characters in the comics have no idea of why Jason came back, so. it could remain a mystery!).

and as I said, re: Bruce. sometimes I'm annoyed because the changes seem designed to make Bruce seem less... objectionable lol. other times I'm curious because the changes because they suggest a very different person in some key ways that spark my imagination in fic-related ways. depends on the day!

but overall it's a good film and a more than competent adaptation, that REALLY showcases my perfect son who never did anything wrong in his life xD, that portrays him as competent (very important to me), and that hits just the right spot when it comes to all my Jason and Bruce-Jason FEELS. and teeny tiny robin!Jason was adorable.

(I'm very happy the fandom outgrew its phase of fancasting Jensen Ackles as Jason though. what a travesty).

Anyways, partially inspired by that, and some videos I was watching earlier

-...and slightly OOC Sanemi at some points because... they're both shit at being fluffy when it comes to words, so at this point this is just what I want to say to a future lover but somewhat in their personalities... 😋

Giyuu rest his forehead on Sanemi's, their breaths interweaving together. It was silent as the two lovers lay together in a single futon, holed up in Giyuu's house as snow fell outside; the temperature dropping by the second.

"Giyuu?" Sanemi asked, after a beat.

Giyuu hummed in assent, his hand resting on Sanemi's jaw, his thumb tracing the scars on his boyfriend's face. "What is it?"

"Does my appearence not hinder your ability to... stay attracted to me?" Sanemi murmured uncertainly.

"Not at all. I like your scars," Giyuu said, a small smile brightening his face. He placed a loving kiss on the scar running across Sanemi's cheek.

"People tell me I'm scary when they see me. They run away. I can't assure people as well when I'm on my missions given of how they react..." Sanemi paused. "No one minds your presence, though. It's comforting."

Giyuu laughed gently, shaking his head. Sanemi watched him carefully.

"Sanemi, people think I'm too quiet. People say you're too loud. They say what they want, but their opinions don't matter, do they? I think... you shouldn't listen to them. They don't know you. You're kind and pretty and cute," Giyuu said, booping Sanemi's nose. "Either they're too traumatized by the demons to notice or they've got something terribly wrong with their eyesight."

Sanemi rolled his eyes. "But as you said, it's their opinion. How is your opinion so different from theirs when so many of theirs is... negative? And I'm not cute, by the way," he said, huffing.

"Hmm, I think you are. You're just proving me right," Giyuu said. "And, to answer your question, it's an opinion, remember? Theirs may be highly defective but trust me to say that I believe my words truly. What I say may be different than others but what I'm saying is also how I feel, how I see you and what I think of you. I love you, Sanemi, and nothing can changed that."

There was a silence for a minute, one of processing as the Wind Hashira pondered this.

"Mm... Then, I like your smile," Sanemi said finally, his voice quiet.

Giyuu chuckled softly, shaking his head in wonder. "And where might that have come from?"

"You kept complimenting me!! If I didn't compliment you, I'd feel bad," Sanemi whined.

"Fine. Why do you like my smile? Kocho-San says it's unsightful and that I shouldn't smile much," Giyuu said, frowning slightly.

"Well, Kocho's opinions are also deeply flawed then. I think it's wonderful. And more so by the fact that I rarely get to see it." Sanemi kissed him tenderly, as if he had to be careful, else Giyuu would break. "But if you smiled more often that would be just as lovely. You look so alive when you smile."

"Do I look like a dead fish when I don't?" Giyuu teased.

"Nah, you're still adorable when you don't," Sanemi insisted. "Where the hell did 'dead fish' come from, though?"

Giyuu shrugged, moving to wrap his arms around Sanemi. "Some of the other Hashira have called me that before, I think. You did too, no? Before we started dating?"

Sanemi groaned. "Noo, don't remind me, I feel so bad about that..."

"Don't be, I really was—am?—like one. Also, you hated me then so... sort of justified. And I did conspire ways to get back at all of you when I was particularily upset," Giyuu said, smirking at the thought.

"Oh? That makes me feel so much better," Sanemi said sarcastically. "What were these conspiracies, then?"

"Eh, stupid shit. Mostly just insults."

"Right. I didn't hate you, by the way," Sanemi said.

"No? I thought you hated me with a, and I quote, 'burning passion,'" Giyuu said, giggling.

"Oh, fuck off... No, well, I was irritated with you but I didn't 'hate you with a burning passion,'" Sanemi said with a sigh. "I hate myself for saying that, it was so cringy."

"Mmhm, it was funny," Giyuu murmured. "You know, after it all happened and I looked back on it. Why'd I annoy you, though? Was I that irritating?"

"Nah," Sanemi said, conspiciously not elaborating.

"Then... what?"

Sanemi grumbled, slinking down under the covers, his head obscured by the blanket and Giyuu's arms. He nestled himself into Giyuu's embrace, resting his forehead on the Water Hashira's chest.

"You were so damn cool," Sanemi murmured, his voice muffled by the clothing. "I admired you so much it hurt. I pretended to hate you because it made it easier to cope with the fact that I liked you."

Giyuu raised an eyebrow at nothing, tucking his chin in to look down at the bundle of Sanemi wrapped in his arms.

"That's... cute," Giyuu said, laughing suddenly.

"Hey!! Don't laugh!" Sanemi said, jolting up, his face flushed as he bonked Giyuu lightly with his head.

"I'm sorry!! I'm sorry, I just can't imagine you admiring me. Or, like... Liking me at all. Before, at least," Giyuu said, pulling Sanemi up to his level again.

Sanemi averted his eyes, his cheeks dusted pink in embarrassment. "Fuck, I was falling for you," Sanemi mumbled. "My ass couldn't admit it, though."

"Well, it all turned out well," Giyuu said, kissing him.

"Mhm, and now I've got a hot ass boyfriend who's never going to let this fact down. My money's on the fact that you'll bring it whenever you have a chance just to embarrass me," Sanemi said, pouting.

"Awee, but you get so flustered easily, it's too cute not to..." Giyuu said.

"Hmm, right. Tell me how you fell for me," Sanemi said confidently, wanting Giyuu to be humiliated as well.

"Let me think back a bit," Giyuu said, resting his head on Sanemi's, closing his eyes. "I think... a couple months before I asked you out."

"How did you decide to ask me out, thought? Were you contemplating it for months?" Sanemi asked, laughing.

"No, I wasn't going to tell you until..." Giyuu paused. "I don't know. I had this... spark. I think it was something you said."

The Hashira went silent again, lost in their thoughts.

"Was it the time some bitch came and asked me out?" Sanemi asked, after a long moment. "A week or two before you asked me, some... demon slayer girl? She went up to me and asked me out. Fuck, I turned her down in an instant because my mind was on you, of all people... And she was ugly."

Giyuu snorted. "She was not, don't say that, Sanemi," he chastised.

"She was!! Especially the way she ran off crying after—don't tell me you feel bad for her? She literally avoided my eyes when she asked. You, on the other hand. Your ass walked up to me all, 'Hey Shinazugawa, wanna go out?' I'm going to be honest, you took me so off guard." Sanemi sighed, reminising. "It was a good type, though. You were so confident, somehow. Like, your eyes stayed on mine the whole time and were so..."

His voice trailed off in thought and the silence slipped back into the room for a second.

"Sanemi?"

"Yes?"

"I wasn't confident, really. But I do think it was the fact that you turned down the girl that I asked you out finally. Partially, at least. I was hopeful because you'd turned her down, and... she was, you know, female? I was hoping it was because you were attracted to men. That, and I hadn't stopped loving you after several months," Giyuu concluded. "I guess I gave up on trying to rid the feeling."

Sanemi rolled his eyes. "Months," he scoffed. "I'd been trying to stop loving you for a fucking year. Hell, I just pretended to myself that I didn't like you. Good job."

"Eh? For what?" Giyuu asked.

"If you hadn't asked me out, I would've pretended I hated you for the rest of my life," Sanemi said, almost annnoyed at himself. "I'm a coward sometimes."

"Sometimes?" Giyuu teased.

Sanemi glared at him. "Alright, enough talk, let's sleep," he said, wrapping his arms around Giyuu's waist and closing his eyes.

"Hey, it's not my fault you started the conversation in the first place!" Giyuu protested, though he had a smile wavering on his face.

"Oh, fuck off. How did I start it?!" Sanemi complained.

"You asked if your scars made me not like you," Giyuu said, kissing Sanemi's forehead.

"Mm. I forgot."

"I know."

Another lapse of silence drew on (this is getting annoying, isn't it....) and for a moment, Giyuu assumed Sanemi was falling asleep.

But then he said, "And if you're wondering, there was nothing that made me ask you that. I was just... looking in the mirror yesterday."

"Oh." Giyuu paused. "But you look... gorgeous. What, was the mirror broken?"

Sanemi, whose head had been previously smushed against Giyuu's chest, looked up. "It was working perfectly fine, that's why," he said. "I can't bear to look at myself sometimes. Reminds me what I've gone through."

"Hmm, think about instead how much you've braved through, then? Or lived through? And you still look hot as hell??" Giyuu said, grinning slightly.

"Yeah... no. And... I didn't brave through shit. I literally just told you that I'm a coward," Sanemi deadpanned.

ANYWAYS! I hope you like this one! thanks for your patience lovie! (also, it isn't proofread, but I wanted to get it out as soon as possible)

it's a wonder you made it this far without being caught by one of the brothers. with your runny nose, red eyes, and all the itchiness, you looked like you were suffering immensly. the reason for your terrible condition was your allergy to cats. and the reason your allergy was triggered was because you were hiding an adorable feline friend in your room in the House of Lamentation. why? because it was adorable and it deserved a home and food. but now, quite literally, the cat was out of the bag, and you had to face the Lucifer's anger and his brothers' confusion.

Mammon had known for a while, but he didn't say anything at first. after all, if he had admitted he was trying to find valuables to steal in your room when he heard the little meows of your friend, you would have killed him on the spot. so the demon didn't say what he had seen, he kept his mouth shut.

then Asmo had noticed how miserable you looked and questioned you. your answers felt off and evasive. a cold? you didn't have a fever. he finally understood what was going on when he came to your room, one night, to offer a skincare night while watching movies. there you were, petting the cat on your bed while your nose ran like a faucet. after a lot of begging from you, he promised he wouldn't snitch you to Lucifer.

but could you really trust Asmo to not open his beautiful but stupid mouth? no, of course you couldn't. he let it slip at diner, one day, and there you were.

"MC, I do hope you're aware of your stupidity." Lucifer said, cold like a stone.

"but! he was alone and nobody was helping him! I couldn't leave him like that!"

Satan, as the biggest cat person of the house, nodded in agreement. while he had noticed your state, he couldn't have guessed the cause. now he was sat beside you, with the sleeping animal on his lap.

but Lucifer was not charmed by your puppy dog eyes. nor was he impressed by his brothers lying to cover for you.

"while I agree that leaving the cat outside would have been wrong, bringing it home was not the right choice to make. it wasn't YOUR choice to make MC."

"I know." you conceded. "but isn't he the cutest? and he loves me!"

"for the love of- you are ALLERGIC to cats MC!! you look absolutely miserable! you can't keep the cat!"

"what if we keep it somewhere else? like in my room?" Satan cut in. he agreed with you that the cat was much too cute to be given away. and surprisingly, it seemed the others were too.

"yeah! let's keep it!" Mammon said.

"it's soooo cute and we could make this cutie a devilgram account!" added Asmo.

it took a lot of convincing and promising Lucifer that you all would be good parents to the cat (excluding Belphie, who was sleeping soundly, and Levi, who hadn't even bothered to come out of his room when he'd heard his older brother's angry voice). but in the end, he agreed.

"fine. as long as you take care of it and don't let cerberus get too close."

never quite as drastic as going from straight up disliking someone to liking or vice versa, but it took a few episodes to fully appreciate a lot of characters just from the structure and ensemble nature of the show. the funniest thing is that when george appeared i genuinely thought 'omg he's gonna be the annoying one, isn't he?' and like i wasn't wrong, but he's Endearing Annoying, not Annoying Annoying, and well, look at me now, i am a george luz enthusiast through and through

i don't have an exact year but i was about 14 maybe?

okay here's where we need to get serious about strategy! everyone will pick shifty bc of his skills, but i reckon since i already have a decent enough aim from doing archery, it would be silly to waste a pick on another good shot (sorry, my guy, you are welcome to join our team further into the narrative). so my picks would start with doc roe because c'mon, every zombie apocalypse team needs a medic! then i'm gonna choose george for group morale and being-my-boyfriend purposes. and then for my final pick, i'm struggling to choose between johnny martin for protection purposes and lipton for keeping-us-alive and doc-roe-is-gonna-kill-george-and-julian-otherwise purposes.. i feel like lip would be such a great all rounder choice, he can protect us in so many different ways, both physical and emotional. okay, lip it is. i think johnny would find us so annoying and would just be like "y'know what? fuck this i'm going off by myself". also, during this thought process i just imagined how terrible a me, tab, webster and babe team would be... like we would not last! we'd be the prettiest apocalypse team around but we would NOT survive!

Heyyyy I’m starting to read Pride and Prejudice and I thought I’d let you know since you’re a big Jane Austen fan. I’ve only ever read Emma by her, so I’m excited. Do you have any other recommendations? I was looking to read Northanger Abbey since it’s one of her more gothic works.

But honestly, i don't know if i'm the right person to make Jane Austen recommendations 😅 I'm not as versed in her work as some people are and i'm a fan simply for the ✨vibes✨ 🤣

Pride and Prejudice, in my basic bitch opinion, is her best book and the most entertaining (i could easily see Emma becoming the most entertaining out of the two for you because the girl is a *hot mess* 🤭). Lizzie is just an incredible heroine and seeing/reading her not accepting Darcy's bullshit is hilarious and the work Ms. Austen made on Darcy is just - insert gif of me biting a pillow here - marvelous. He's an asshole, yes but instead of being played as some bad boy swag, it's shown that he's terribly awkward introvert king: Best Austen Hero, no dispute there! (fyi this is my *my opinion* in case anyone disagrees and wants to come for my head).

I haven't read Northanger Abbey myself yet (although i plan on doing it soon) and i feel weird recommending Reason and Sensibility and/or Mansfield Park because they're kinda boring? 😂 I love this two stories and Mansfield Park is even my second favorite Austen book but the plots and character conflicts are heavily focused on moral and the romance is just embarrassing 😒. It's very Jane Austen if you're accostumed with her work but unless you have the patience to sit through it i don't see why you should bother.

Persuasion is short and kinda cute, so maybe you should try it? 😅 Sorry for the rambly mess! I hope i helped somewhat.

874,060 - When did that get so much??? I've only picked writing back up in January!

3. What fandoms do you write for?

Currently mainly Harry Potter and I have one Rings of Power fanfic on hiatus (for now). I used to write for all sorts of fandoms though! Pirates of the Caribbean, The Hobbit, Percy Jackson, Marvel, Vampire Diaries, Naruto - to name a few.

4. What are your top 5 fics by kudos?

"Your tears are of no relevance to me", my dark Snape/reader fic

2. Cigarette smoke, Profanities and Stolen Kisses, Snape/reader smut

3. A Servant of Death, my Snape/OC longfic, my baby, my beloved

4. Carrying Atlas, Deeply traumatised, sarcastic Snape/broken Harrie ddlg/pet play fic with much hurt and even more comfort

5. Stood-up, my three-part Snape/former student!reader oneshot/mini-fic

5. Do you respond to comments? Why or why not?

I try to reply to each one! I love to hear what people think and interact with readers!!

6. What is the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending?

I don't actually have that many fics finished 😅

I love long fics, I love reading them and I love writing them so most of my works are still ongoing (and seem to be staying ongoing for a while to come 😅)

I'd say Petrichor. It's a Voldemort-wins AU so things are bound to look hopeless and dark.

7. What’s the fic you wrote with the happiest ending?

Severus and his Sunshine!!!! A very fluffy, hopful ending 🥰

8. Do you get hate on fics?

After initially posting A Servant of Death II quite a few readers were angry the story would not be moving into a direction they wanted. Haven't gotten any since.

9. Do you write smut? If so, what kind?

Yes 😃

I write Dom/sub mostly! Proper D/s (apart from my dark!fics) with safewords and boundaries and aftercare! I love including kink-wear and collars and other fun toys! All sorts of kinks, lighter and a few darker, more taboo kinks. Lots of bondage!!

Also dub-con and dark smut and I'm venturing into poly and threesome territory lately.

Basically anything I find interesting or worth exploring!

10. Do you write crossovers? What’s the craziest one you’ve written?

No. I had a rather ambitious crossover idea when I was a teen about a group of people chosen by the gods I had created to protect the universes of the world with every book/show/movie in existance being a universe that had been locked away by some evil supernatural beings. Each of the four people in the group could travel between the universes and had to fix the timelines if things went wrong. Basically all the misery happening in the stories was the supernatural beings messing with the universes. I wrote the first part that played in The Hobbit and started the second part that would take place in Naruto but I never continued the project.

11. Have you ever had a fic stolen?

Not that I know of but I do know that after I published my first HP fic on Wattpad back when I was...uff idk 13?? suddenly everybody in the german marauders fandom was writing Voldemort's daughter fics. I thought that was interesting since I wrote mine because I couldn't find any Voldemort's child fics in german (my english was shit at the time, I'm sure otherwise I would have found plenty to read! 😂)

12. Have you ever had a fic translated?

Nope! But someone once made a podfic of my Adventcalender one-shot collection (with my permission). I don't think it's still online though. (god I hope not, those were terrible 😬)

13. Have you ever co-written a fic before?

No and I don't think I ever will. My mind is a strange and cluttered space and teamwork has never been a strong suit. I've been asked though, but that was more of a 'I have x-idea, will you write it for me?' then an actual inquiry.

14. What’s your all time favourite ship?

Ummmmm....OCs. Everybody/OC. I love OC's. I love reading them, creating them, I love that I can have a person whose weaknesses and strength and personality fit my fav characters perfectly, especially since my fav characters tend to be unsocial loners with terrible trauma.

Apart from that I'm not much of a shipper...Snarriet probaly (thanks to @loneamaryllis - you know what you did 😑, jokes aside I've been thoroughly enjoying this ship and the community is so sweet!)

15. What’s a WIP you want to finish but doubt you ever will?

I sure hope I'll finish them all! Strawberries and Sin is being neglected right now 😅 but I love the characters and I'm certainly not planing on abandoning the story!

16. What are your writing strengths?

I like to think I'm good at worldbuilding, I certainly enjoy expanding existing universes with my own ideas! Whether it's by adding an entire Vampire monarchy including an origin story of how vampires came to exist or World Duelling Championships for my heir of a rich pureblood family to power herself out at.

17. What are your writing weaknesses?

I never know if I describe things enough, surroundings, emotions, etc. I think I tend to fixate on what a character is doing with their hands 😂

Also I can get lost in developing the relationship between two characters and forget to advance the plot just to then focus on the plot and neglect the characters 😅 still trying to find a balance there.

18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language in fic?

Been there, done that! I think it can be fun.

19. First fandom you wrote for?

Written? Naruto! I was nine I think and I had no idea that fanfiction even exists or that other people were writing them! I just wrote down a truly terrible story on an old notepad I had.

The first fandom I created stories for in my mind was Harry Potter at around nine!

20. Favourite fic you’ve written?

A fic that is currently not on the internet anymore that I want to rework and publish once I've worked through some WIPs. It's about Snape and his best friend from an opressed people who both ended up joining Voldemort for good intentions and end up in his bed (two Death Eaters eagerly serving their new master 😏) but quickly realise he is not what he promised to be.

From my published fics it's a draw between A Servant of Death and 'Your tears are of no relevance to me'!

The both of you (mostly him actually) would look out for each other when you're on missions and protect/help each other out when the other is in trouble

You & him would occasionally hang out at a café you always would go to and hang out while talking each other about things you have interest in, things you like, and other stuff when you guys don't have any work to do!

Some people have actually mistaken you two as a couple one or a few times, and it still flusters Atsushi whenever this happens while you were used to it/unfazed-

It's so funny to see Atsushi so flustered like that- lmao-

If you're the teasing type (like Dazai-), then you might've teased him about this just to see his cheeks grow red as a cherry-

Of course, the both of don't have any romantic feelings for each other, you view each other as siblings/family!

If you're taller than him, you probably have carried him a few times before, either on purpose or smth along the lines of that (like you have to carry him cause' he was injured on a mission, the way you carry him is your choice)

You'd pat his head and he might do the same to you

He treasures anything you give him, even if it's a singular plucked flower that's slowly wilting away 'til death, a shiny rock you found, or a keychain that resembles him in some way (example: a tiger keychain, a moon keychain), he'll cherish it forever no matter what it is <3

Atsushi would try to help you in situations if you're seeming to be looking uncomfortable when that person starts hitting on/flirting with you, and he would either try to take care of the situation (by confronting that person and tell them to stop making you uncomfortable) or escort you outta the area/place you're at and if any of the other members of the agency are there, he'll let them know about it and take care of the job

You would help him out by using your ability when going on missions that involve a little violence here and there, protecting him from any harm that's coming your way

You find his tiger form, named Byakko, adorable. You probably give him headpats when you can :]]

He thinks you're kinda intimidating at times, specially during when going against the enemies, since you would have this such sweet and kind expression on your face but the words you were saying to the enemies don't even match the smile you have on-

Since he's such a worry wart most of the time whenever someone gets injured, especially if that person is you, you would try to reassure him everything's going to be fine even if it may not look like it

That one friend who probably makes terrible jokes and being awkward about it and there's always someone who would always laugh at their jokes

Random scent hc : Atsushi smells like vanilla and probably also cinnamon & strawberries joined into the mix

I have no idea why, but he seems like he'll smell like that-

Prone to having nightmares at times, so when he comes to you, may be having tears prickling his eyes, please do comfort him <3

If you were to shower him with platonic affection and compliments, he would get so embarrassed & flustered and start stammering nonsense that you don't even understand the hell's he's saying but you vibe with it- 🤷

Since you spend most of your time spending with him, you might as well spend time with Kyōka too since she hangs out with him mostly

Let's you drag him anywhere you want unless you need to keep track on the mission you're on/get lost along the way

If you're really close with him, he might tell you about his past, like the orphanage he resided in for a while before being kicked out onto the streets with nowhere to go for example and you would comfort him

But all and all, he's a very good & sweet boy to have as a friend though he's a worry wart at times but he means well. 9/10 :]

Besides the president's praises, he mostly craves these compliments from you the most. You always complimented and praised him on his intelligence, skills, his looks, and pretty much everything that he does/have (as it pretty much should be-)

But he really appreciates how you aren't doing it in a way to suck it up to him. You just genuinely mean everything you say positively about him

It's not a secret that he doesn't have an ability like his colleagues but he didn't want any pity from anyone. He doesn't need it, he's one of the most essential members of the armed detective agency. He doesn't doubt himself in the slightest, but though it does something to him knowing that someone has their whole entire faith in him so easily

Even if he doesn't have a flashy, cool, and striking ability like the others, you still encouraged him every time at anywhere you are at

Besides Dazai (and I think also Fukuzawa), you're the very few people who he'll pay attention to for more than five seconds

He's surprisingly soft towards you

If you were to make homemade sweets of any kind (cakes, cupcakes, brownies, lolipops, gummy bears, chocolates, etc.) and give them to him as a gift, he might lose himself-

You're like a parent friend to him cause' you would lightly scold and force him to eat regular, healthy food because eating just sweets and cake is bad for the health of one and a regular human must eat healthy food instead of just eating sweets

Because eating just sWEETS IS NOT HEALTHY FOR YOU AT ALL-

This guy definitely smells entirely like sweets, like,, a strong aroma of sweetness emitts from him which can tell you that it's Ranpo even without looking at him or hearing him at all-

He probably shares some sweets with you, and only you if you're that really close with him

Steals whatever sweets you have but you mostly offer some to him or just give the whole thing (unless if it's a lolipop-)

Has asked you to carry him on your back once cause' his feet were hurting from walking

Even if you may be a very sweet and caring person (beside Atsushi), you tend to call him a 'childish idiot' sometimes and he's pretty dramatic about it

He gets lost so damn easily, and you would become his guide 'dog' whenever you find him and guide him wherever he needs to go, please do not look away from him for one second cause' if you do, the greatest detective might as well just disappear from existence and never be found again by mankind 🤷

Not really though-

He may be childish and annoying at times but you love him /p

He manages to convince (force) you to slack off from work and hang out with him where his desk is, you two talk and talk about whatever (mostly him bragging about the cases he's done before-) and maybe eat some snacks while you're at it

When Fukuzawa walked in on one occasion, he did not even bat an eyes or even talk to you about how you were skipping on doing work in front of his damn eyes-

He only smiled, said a greeting to you both, and went back into his office

"Hey Edogawa-san?"

"Just call me Ranpo."

"Ah, Right. Ranpo, why didn't the president reprimand me for not doing work instead just slacking off?"

"Well, I exempted you from work today by doing all of your work because I was bored."

"Ah, I see. okay- pardon?"

Sometimes, you have to deal with him and his love for candy- meaning that you have to try and prevent him from getting distracted and not going on the mission which you were supposed to do

"Ranpo, please-"

"But [name]!! That shop has that new candy I wanna try!! I've been wanting to try it ever since!"

"oh my gosh- RANPO WE NEED TO COMPLETE THIS FUCKING MISSION FIRST, I PROMISE THAT I'LL BUY YOU THAT CANDY YOU'VE ALWAYS WANTED TO TRY LATER AFTER WE FINISH THIS PLEASE-"

He likes to go to the movies with you, specially murder mysteries type of movies, and then figures out the killer within the first 8 minutes of the movie-

Probably tells you spoilers of some movies you wanted to watch and you would stuff his mouth with a cupcake (or just a sweet of any kind) or just simply slap your hand over his mouth before he could get the words out

Sometimes shares some of his snacks from his sacred snack pile. Everybody in the office was stunned to witness this cause' Ranpo has and will never share his snacks with anyone ever

You might know who Edgar Allan Poe is cause' Ranpo might've mentioned to you about him a few times but you've never met the disastrous ball of anxiety in all your life- (yet-)

He's a great friend but pretty much childish as a first grader. An 8.5/10

I genuinely like their little interactions so far but DAMN boy. Okay so what i glean from these girls' personalities, first of all, is that sal is honestly quite sweet and takes care of the others. Needlessly Long and Dramatic APH Belarus Slander

A/N: Just to clarify, I am NOT at all referring to the REAL COUNTRY of Belarus. The citizens of Belarus are already trying so hard to fight, literally risking their lives, for freedom and national identity. I am not about to ignorantly hold an entire country accountable for what their government and dictator do and have done, especially since people are dying trying to fight for basic human rights.

This is about HETALIA’S Belarus. SPECIFICALLY Hetalia’s Belarus as a PERSON, not as a nation. As I said in one of my first posts, there’s not nearly enough slander of this depiction of Belarus. And when there was, it was for the wrong reasons (“she gets in between me and my ships”). This has been festering inside me and I need to let it all out.

And do keep in mind that this is APH Belarus slander. This is my opinion. It's in the title. Don't like it? Then move on. I don't care, I don't wanna hear it.

And if you stayed, I hope you're ready because I'm about to spill my angry guts out😃👍

Hetalia’s Belarus is a terrible person and a poor, insulting personification of the country.

How?

Let's see, uh…

She bullies, deliberately ignores, and is overall a complete cow to her older sister because she falsely assumes that Russia wants to marry her instead.

Is needlessly hostile and rude to everyone, regardless if they mean well.

Threatens and curses people who disagree with, or even question, Russia because "how dare they have an opinion".

Gets angry when Russia talks to anyone who isn't her, regardless if it’s for professional reasons.

One of the (many, many, many) reasons why Russia doesn’t have any friends is because she scares people off just to have him all to herself.

Blames other people (especially her sister) for Russia's constant avoidance of her rather than reflecting on her own behavior.

Is weirdly contradictory. She’s been shown actively stalking seeking out recruits to ‘become one’ with Russia but gets all ornery and pissy when said recruits are close to him (like, what did you expect??).

Makes Russia’s life more of a living Hell and even curses him when he outright tells her “no”.

Throws violent temper tantrums when things don’t go her way and destroys things.

Has deluded herself into thinking that Russia does want to marry her and dismisses his fearful reactions as stubbornness/“Tsundere behavior”.

Is completely on board with Russia’s desire to take over the world (which she misinterprets as "turn everyone into big brother’s slaves" rather than Russia’s real intentions [as fucked up and naive as they are], "being friends with everyone").

Has been bullying Lithuania since childhood even though he loves her and has repeatedly broken his fingers and legs.

Has been implied to have done questionable things to the Baltics ("Today, I played around with___. It’s interesting to see what expressions he makes when I do such things to him").

Isn’t above hurting animals. Got into a fight with a cat simply because it was “in big brother’s way”.

Has done an impression of the stereotypical "Imōto-chan trope" in an attempt to "persuade" her brother into marriage (I know it's minuscule compared to what I've already mentioned, but the fact that she just blatantly assumes that Russia is the kind of person who would be into that is just...ew).

Held Liechtenstein in a chokehold when asked to interact with her.

Actually likes her authoritarian jackass of a boss and has made a fansite of him (the only other person she’s done this for is Russia, which is saying a lot).

Silent calls people out of spite.

Has stolen, smelled, and worn her brother's underwear on her head as a nightcap.

Takes invasive photos of Russia without his knowledge or consent.

Constantly ruins and/or breaks down Russia's doors.

Leaves scratch marks on Russia's property as a hobby.

Has indecent, sexual fantasies about her brother.

Has used physical force on Russia (ie. crushing his arm) to get him to marry her and showed zero remorse over hurting him.

Has an entire Hetastagram (Instagram) account called ‘Daily Big Brother’, where she praises, stalks, and publicly posts photos of Russia online without his consent (and I’m willing to bet that some of them were the suggestive ones I mentioned earlier).

Overall, not a good person. A brat, even.

Belarus is one of those characters that I adore aesthetically. I love her design (have you seen her in a ponytail?), I occasionally do voice impressions of her for fun and I’m always ecstatic when I discover canon information about her. Hell, I have an entire document dedicated to canon descriptions of her physical appearance just to cosplay her (I’ve been wanting to cosplay Bela for a very long time).

But at the same time I know for a fact that, if I knew her in real life, I would absolutely hate her guts.

I already don't like her as a person, and I know I said this is about her personality specifically, but I especially don't like her as a personification of a country that's already been going through hell just to keep its independence (and it's even more gross and insulting in real life knowing that it's Russia that's out to take away Belarus' national autonomy).

Belarus' obsession with Russia does influence most of her bad traits. He's not, by any means, a good influence.

However, she fails to recognize his many fatal faults and misinterprets what he wants as malicious world domination and enslavement, which she's concerningly more than happy to indulge.

She sees Russia as this idealized, flanderized version of himself. She sees him as something to praise and revere, as this brooding, merciless god-on-earth who's righteous in every way. To put it into perspective, the way she sees Russia is very similar to how the fandom saw him during the 2010s and sometimes still sees him today.

She doesn't really know her brother or even see him as his own person. Sure, she can name every location he's ever been to, is obnoxiously protective of him, and knows his pinky toe turns red when he's embarrassed, but she doesn't know who he is as a person. His likes, dislikes, what he wants, and especially, what he doesn't want. She likes the idea of him and just makes assumptions from there without any input or consent.

Belarus won't acknowledge it, but to her, Russia is essentially a doll. Just a target. An object to keep, project, and force her affection onto.

And this isn't the same as Russia doing harmful things out of a lack of understanding of how the world works. This isn't the same as Russia being cognitively unaware of everyone's fear of him.

No. Bela knows exactly what she’s doing. She knows better than to be doing what she’s doing. But she indulges anyway simply because she lacks impulse control. And from the looks of it, it's deliberate.

And the worst part about all this? She’s never been held accountable for her actions. Not once does someone reprimand her or call her out for her shitty behavior and, if anything, it’s enabled.

Russia can't bring himself to tell her off or get rid of her (out of both familial love and fear), which only makes matters worse since Bela's fanatical dumbass will only assume that his lack of action means that he approves of her behavior.

But it's not like what Russia does matters anyway because if he even tries to put her down (gently or otherwise) and behaves outside of her idealized version of him, she'll just throw a shit fit and make him more miserable. He's forever stuck in this vicious cycle until he's drained from her antics and finally gives in to what she wants.

And the reason(s) why other people let her get away with the shit she pulls is because:

They're also scared of her.

She’s a female nation, and no one tells female nations what to do.

"She’s just so cute!” (PrettyPrivilege™️).

The closest thing she’s ever gotten to a ‘reality check’ was in that 2011 Halloween comic. When Denmark casually brushes off her usual attempts at intimidation.

And laughs to her face for even trying in the first place.

Belarus is implied to be lonely and has had a rough upbringing like her siblings, leaving her with a pessimistic view of life and relationships. She's tried to break away from Russia once (I imagine her bosses at the time forced her to) and lived with America, who also got tired of her antics and tried to get rid of her as well. This would explain a lot of her obsessive, co-dependent behavior and, by all accounts, is enough to garner some form of sympathy.

However, the reason why Bela is lonely is that she's actively choosing to cling to one person. She pushes all of her projections and issues onto Russia, further isolating him while not giving a single flying fuck over how her actions affect him and those around her.

And even when there are other people who love and care about her unconditionally (for some reason), she’s dismissive and a complete bitch to them. She takes those relationships for granted and only ever indulges them if it serves some sort of benefit to her (usually as a means of getting closer to Russia).

As if the fact that she's indulging in incestuous fantasies isn't bad enough, she's making active attempts to make them a reality and giving no regard over how her target feels. She takes time out of her day to intentionally hurt others who dare to disagree. The fact that there are other people who care about her and want her to be happy means nothing to her. It's painfully frustrating to watch.

Even traits that should be positive (strength and passion) are manifested in negative ways. She's been noted to be talented and has so much potential. But instead, she chooses to waste said potential in favor of being...this.

So long story short, Belarus is the kind of person who will never be happy. Regardless if she magically gets what she wants in the end.

I've said this before and I'll say it again: I absolutely love it when the fandom goes the extra mile to expand on her character. She's shrouded in mystery and could have at least one positive trait for all we know (unfortunately, that reveal's not gonna happen anytime soon).

I typically don't care for headcanons and this is one of the few exceptions. It's a breath of fresh air to see different interpretations of her character.

Man, Belarus. You bring out the worst in people.

And you're not putting in any effort to change that. To be a better version of yourself. Have you any self-respect?

So you must be happy with where you are. And if that's the case, then why should I, or anyone, feel bad?

I guess I see why I should be sorry for you, but I also see no point in wasting sympathy on someone who's content with being a shitty person.

Don't go out of your way to be a petty asshole and this wouldn't happen🤗

So yeah, Hetalia’s Belarus is not just a terrible person, but a poor, insulting personification of the country.

hey love! Welp, what a rollercoaster this final was!

the only two things I actually liked - Suresh's speech and him giving MC the ring and showing his intentions (finally!)

everything else is a total mess!!!

the writing was atrocious - i felt like I read a 12 years old girl's diary😵Sexy scenes weren't sexy. Congratulations of other islanders were fake. MC's speech was terrible! Like - this dude (Suresh) pouring his heart to you and makes himself vulnerable and you talking about his hot body and great personality? Maybe it doesn't look completely out of place if you coupled up with others, but with Suresh it was stupid. And don't even start with ring!!

where did it came from?! Was MC hiding the freaking ring from players in her ass?! cuz it's only plausible explanation! UNBELIEVABLE!

I mean wasn't hoping for a brilliant final. I was kinda expecting tonnes of BS, but FB for sure surprised me😆

also! I was really disappointed with "looking at MCs journey". why in the name of holy cow they didn't do it with an actual scenes? why Bobby didn't said a thing about Finn trying to seduce MC in shower? I WOULD LOVE to see Kat's reaction. And Suresh's too! he must see his girl was loyal and would never be "the other woman". Kat must see her man actually isn't hers. And also Kat can go to hell with her fake apology after all her petty comments in final.

Hi babe 💖💖 yes!! those "spicy" scenes were NOT spicy at all...high schoolers in a creative writing program could've managed a better scene than that. He really truly laid it all on the line for MC with his speech and he was like well your really hot and your personality is too! MC has a depth problem that was evidenced in that speech!

The ring was sooooo crazy...also I was wondering if she proposes to anyone else or if that was just a Suresh exclusive moment.

re: Best Bits...ME TOO I was so disappointed they didnt do it like previous seasons where you actually got to see the moment on your screen. Seeing Kat's reaction to Finn propositioning MC wouldve been WILD!!!! they shouldve let that happen and I'm so mad we didnt get that moment.

If you pick Finn, Suresh picks Kat and I think Alfie picks Dana - (not entirely sure on Alfie/Dana here but assuming)

If you pick Lulu, Suresh leaves and Kat & Finn, Alfie and Dana are coupled.
