So, I had an hour of psychoeducation about ADHD and ADD. I don’t have either (I’ve been tested, and I’m very inattentive but nothing else) but the group is mixed and has some people with ADHD in it. And obviously, an hour can only give a short introduction to the topic, and the therapist said so, but I’m still PISSED OFF.

Because when we talked about diagnoses and stuff, she said, repeatedly, that it was overdiagnosed, and it was me pointing out that it might be overdiagnosed IN BOYS but it’s definitely underdiagnosed in girls and women that got her to correct what she was saying. Btw, the group consisted, if I remember correctly, of two men, one nb person, and about 8-9 women.

Then we came to collecting ideas about what can help dealing with ADHD. I read @thebibliosphere, so I had some ideas, but apparently removing the doors to your kitchen cabinets is “a bit extreme”. And the most important is “planning and organizing”. Now I’m not an expert, but I believe that if they were able to plan and organize, they wouldn’t have ADHD.

Anyway, I’m fine, I’m just pissed off on other people’s behalf. But I’m kinda concerned for the people in this program who do have ADHD.

Game studio corp is so bleak right now, seeing so many massive layoffs for the sole sake of profit and pleased shareholders. It's heartbreaking to read from the ex-employees across multiple studios for a time now posting about being scared re. finances and no longer having the job they might have loved doing

Employees in the video game industry no matter their position tend to be some of the most passionate people I've ever seen and also personally known, they love the games they work on and want to see them improved. They want to foster a better community both in and out of the studio

Workers are the backbone of any industry and deserve to be treated better than like they're disposable

I haven't been in this fandom for very long. Literally maybe only 6 months. And already I've seen so many people get beaten down by others to the point of leaving the fandom altogether. I'm so fucking mad right now and I don't have anywhere to put that anger and it's so frustrating.

How dare you ruin this for them. Don't you fucking get it? Writing is one of the purest forms of expression. These people are pouring their hearts and souls into their work and they are creating fucking masterpieces! They are turning their pain and their thoughts into pieces of art and all you can think to do is criticize? To be cruel to them because it doesn't fit your tastes?

Zar didn't deserve this and Greenie sure as fuck didn't either.

I hope that they both end up okay in the end and if they never put their work out there again I wouldn't blame them. Would it break my heart? Yes, absolutely. I love their works. I love their writing. But if it comes at the cost of their own mental health, then I don't fucking want it.

And Greenie, if you see this, I'm so sorry love. I know we haven't spoken to each other and I don't know what exactly went down for you to make this decision, but I hope you know that for what it's worth, in spite of everything, in spite of the people that forced your hand, you have my support and my love.

If we condemn Owners for abandoning their pets with the excuse of no having time/space/food for them instead of leaving them in a pet shelter, why are we pardoning Children abandonment????

Victim or good mom doesn't excuse abandoning such a loving kid on the street with the hope she gets to find her "human trafficker father".

If producers do want to give us a "realistic" ending they should drop an scene with an older Miri processing her childhood and having an argument and mental breakdown with Misaki. This isn't fair for that little girl. And sh!t I myself don't even like kids at all!!

I also hate the idea of "blood is thicker than water" plot, all this beautiful set up of how family doesn't necessarily have to be your blood relatives, but the people that care for each others equally. Just for the ending to say, "nooo blood-related family is the most important thing at the end". It makes me sick.

Why do people wear shoes inside? - a rant

I think the one cultural difference that annoys me the most since moving to the Netherlands from Romania is how my friends are totally fine with stomping around their houses with their dirty ass outside shoes. My mom would have a heart attack if ever dared to to do that in her home. I might as well say ''fuck your cleaning mom''. ''oh but I clean'' bro even then, you still end up walking with your bare feet on all that nasty™ eventually and then getting in bed or smth. Somehow this is always the point of difference between me and my dutch friends and I'm told that I'm exaggerating. Yeah sorry man, the NL weather is basically wet 24/7 and I DO NOT WANT wet muddy foot prints + whatever nasty shit sticks to your shoes in my house. That was the rant. I feel a little better now.

Is a living being? He is not a ghost? He is a physical living being, his life force may be tied to the Keep yes, but the idea that he'll disappear off the face of the earth is a dumb idea.

But you don't care. You're doing this for drama. You're doing this because you're out of ideas and you don't actually give a shit about being consistent with your own writing. You're making things up as you go. Which is why your magic system is idiotic, you don't know how it works and you're making shit up. I have a more consistent magic system in my fanfic that I BASED OFF OF YOUR OWN PODCAST BECAUSE IT'S NOT THAT HARD TO FIGURE OUT A CONSISTENT MAGIC SYSTEM.
