idk when I’ll finally finish going through all my drafts (that aren’t just original posts saved to finish and/or queue later), but at least I finally have fewer drafts than followers again lmao

Chelle~ I'm in my Jae feels rn. I watched his latest IG live and the way he says "beautiful" got me like 😍😍😍. Could you do a small drabble of the reader hearing Jae call them "beautiful" for the first time and just going all blushy and fluffy? 🥺

My lovely! I hear he got deep in the feels a bit with the latest - I was out so have yet to see it. But of course! The way Jae says any word gets me going though. Literally love the way he emphasises words when he sings

“What?” you asked softly, your forehead creasing up as you pondered his intense stare. Blinking a couple of times and finding Jae still mesmerised by something he saw before him, you pouted. “Why are you staring so hard?!”

“Have I ever told you how beautiful you are?” he murmured, visibly taken back by his admission. Squaring his shoulders, he nodded as if to confirm his words. “So beautiful.”

You opened your mouth, only to close it again, feeling the steady rise of heat to your face. You didn’t know why, but you chose to hide your blush, lifting your arms up to encase your face in the now stuffy environment. Your cheeks were pretty hot to the touch.

“Wait, why are you hiding?” Jae tried to pull away an arm and chuckled. “Why?!”

“I’m just so stunned, leave me alone!”

“Because you’re beautiful?” he concluded, though you knew he was having fun now. “Are you being shy because you’re beautiful? Hey, don’t hide it from me, I was enjoying the view!”

You blindly reached out to thump him. “Stop saying it! My heart’s going to explode with how that word sounds coming from you.”

“That’s not something I want to have happen,” Jae announced, succeeding in pulling your arms down. He grinned. “I won’t take it back though, you truly are beauti-”

You gave him an exasperated look.

“Gorgeous.” You thumped him again and Jae chuckled heartily. “What, it’s a different word this time!”
