i wish i could post insightful things about fantasy high: junior year but i am too busy being thrust into intense flashbacks of my own high school years and dealing with the anxiety that produces

like kudos to dimension 20 for accurately portraying how junior year of high school in the usa fucks a person up while simultaneously building a truly fantastic and gripping plot

but also i am literally just. sitting here. and did not ask to be mentally and emotionally devastated in this particular way

#to be clear i am absolutely LOVING this season #the very real emotions about high school are good actually #but at the same time i am suffering #also they're all doing good in high school! i barely graduated!#i liked learning but i hated homework!#bc i had and have adhd!#if i were to explain my experience as rolls of the dice #i feel like i rolled low on many classes and refused to take stress until the very last second #but also the stress was so real #so i identify deeply with this season #i'm in this picture and i don't like it #just kidding this might be my favorite season yet #so excited for the episode tmrw #dimension 20 #d20 #fantasy high junior year #d20 fhjy #fhjy

Ten Songs

I got tagged by @dustednight and @roosterbox for songs I listened to, and what happened next ... is what happens when you overthink a thing, an occurrence that is quite likely for me. So instead of 5 10 songs, here are 10 songs and categories of songs I listen to. I'm so, so sorry.

Fortune Days - The Glitch Mob (clocking in under the categories "Instrumental" and "Soundtracks from Things I Watch")

Sebona Fi - Yws Gwynedd (because why discriminate? Add ALLLLL the foreign language songs! Especially if they're loud and happy)

Bottom of the River - Delta Rae (from that intensely frustrating group of "Songs I Wish I Could Sing")

Tadhana - Up Dharma Down (twofers are my fave; this one is filed under "Songs In My Native Language" and "Love Songs" - and also realistically a song I wish I could sing)

On Your Shore - Enya (who doesn't like lyrically dramatic, introspective songs? not me, Your Honor)

Enter Sandman - Metallica (Loud Songs: for when you need to abuse the volume button, with a Million String Instruments for those of you who want to rev up the musical drama)

Fallen - Sarah McLachlan (I love Sad Songs (TM), which obviously means I also like The Other Sara (Bareilles))

Headfirst Slide Into Cooperstown On A Bad Bet - Fall Out Boy (no Pinoy ever wants to NOT Get A Good Grade In Concert; we like to sing, yes, even the ones like me who will only ever eventually carry a tune if given a big enough bucket. They revoke your Pinoy street cred if you don't sing, can confirm.)

The Parting Glass - The Wailin' Jennys (I sometimes like to collect all versions/covers of the same song, a habit which I cannot get any expert to confirm is A Perfectly Normal Thing To Do (TM))
