Tee K.O 2 being modern gives me the sinking feeling of those depressing sequels were the children, previously living in paradise, are now middle aged, living in a polluted hellhole that was once their utopia and are now working in a sweatshop exploiting their passion.

A modern Feysand au where Rhys just took over his father's company and is trying to make it his own. So, he's creating new job titles, firing people who only work there because of nepotism, and in his free time, he likes buying paintings from CursebreakerArt.com to decorate and liven the building up.
Feyre is a struggling artist who is only able to afford rent because some random guy keeps ordering from her shop and she's not complaining, but he's bought so many, and who needs that many paintings?
One day, after mailing the latest orders out, Feyre decides to walk around the city and eventually notices the help wanted flyers for Velaris Co. everywhere she looks. She's curious. She's heard of this company before, and apparently, the ceo is an absolute prick, but the pay and benefits are supposed to be fantastic. So, she takes a flyer, and after a few days of no new orders, schedules an interview.
Rhys goes through the list of the days scheduled interviews. Normally, a ceo would be too busy to conduct interviews on their own, but he wants to show he's different from his father, and he wants to know every employee as a friend, not just someone who works for him. He scans through the list, and one name suddenly catches his attention. Feyre Archeron. He knows that name. He's seen that name elegantly signed on almost every painting on this floor and has seen it scribbled on a little thank you note that comes with each order. Feyre Archeron, creator of CursebreakerArt.com, is interviewing at his company that afternoon.
Feyre walks into the interview room slowly, suddenly self-conscious about her paint stained sweater and leggings. This place was really nice and really professional. She was way in over her head to even think of trying this! She should have washed the paint out from under her nails! She should have worn a pencil skirt and blouse!
Feyre's thoughts are cut short when Rhys enters the room and then suddenly stops. Then, their just staring at each other in silence. Feyre thinks Rhys is not only the handsomest man she's ever seen but that he must also be appalled by her appearance and it was definitely a mistake to come here.
Rhys, on the other hand, was 100% prepared to gush about how much he loves her work, that is, until the moment he actually saw her. She was the most beautiful woman he had ever seen, and he had not been ready for that at all.
Feyre gets up, starting to apologize for wasting his time, saying she'll see herself out, but Rhys stops her with only two words. "You're perfect."
Feyre blushes fiercely, then Rhys clears his throat and begins talking to cover up what he just said.
"For the job. You're perfect for the job. You see, a lot of my employees have young children who spend the day in our care center or go there after school. I was hoping to hire some new employees, people who are passionate about something like art, cooking, or music to come in to spend time with the children during the day and teach them."
"I see... and you think I'm perfect for that job from just one look at me? Without even looking at my portfolio?"
"Ms. Archeron, off all the interviews I've conducted today, you have been the only one to dress appropriately for children and not an office. You're covered in paint, so you're clearly passionate, and I already have most of your portfolio hanging in my office or in the hallways."

screenshotted bc I don't feel comfortable posting this uncensored but yeah, I get how upsetting it is, and I'm glad you can recognize your thought as bad! but I think it's really important to keep in mind that lashing out isn't going to help things. it may be cathartic, but the cost outweighs any temporary benefit tbh
I think it might help to seek out more spaces that aren't toxic about trans men & mascs and try to avoid things that you know will make you upset. I'd recommend blocking certain words in posts with tumblr's filters if you think it'll help
I'd also recommend trying to spend some more time doing something you enjoy, if you find yourself getting upset on social media it can be good to redirect your attention to something that helps you calm back down and retain your sanity. try to take care of yourself more than other people can tear you down
even something as simple as a pen and paper or ms paint or a drawing app on your phone can be great when you're frustrated and need an outlet, even just a bunch of scribbles and shapes can feel so good to get out
it sucks that we have to take extra care of ourselves and find ways to manage our emotions like this, but it helps a lot I promise!! you deserve to feel good about yourself and have coping skills that work for you

Hi! I'm a big fan of your phantom forces comic but I see you've also done original work as well! I guess my question is what advice do you have for aspiring comic artists out there? both for original comics as well as fan comics.
Hi! Thanks for liking Phantom Forces ^^ I don't think I've made it very far in regards to comic industry stuff but the best advice I can give for anyone looking to try and get into it is- 1. just go for it. *A lot of times the biggest excuse to not getting started is that maybe your artwork or writing isn't as good as other comics you see out there. But the only way you'll get to where you want to be is to start somewhere- and even put it out there. This is the hardest thing to do as having no one look at your work is one of the worst feelings, but keep on putting it out there regardless. Your audience will find you. If you've already started and that advice isn't for you, then my secondary advice is- 2. keep everything. *Even the stuff you think are just scribbles. These scraps are great for developing new ideas and seeing how you worked up to something else... like a recipe book. There have been plenty of characters I've made that looked absolutely fantastic, then I dont look at them for a year, I come back, and have no idea how to make that character look just right again. *Keep all your comics, all your stories. For the same reason as the scraps, and because you will get better. You're going to get better and your work is going to be different. All those ideas that you made before when your skills might not have been ironed out- you can do them again. That's something I have to remind myself. Just because I did a version of that story already doesn't mean I cant do it again and better. 3. Lastly, it literally does not matter what program you use, what paper, what medium, whatever *Digitizing is important for uploading your work and editing so figure out how to do that, but if you want to work physically, paint it? You can do that. Digitally? Want to use MS Paint? Do it, it'll look really cool. Have fun and make your work yours. ---
All of this advice wasn't very specific but I'm open to answering more technical questions too.

I keep seeing posts being like "omg. The kids don't know how to use computer! They don't know how to use a mouse! They don't know what a command line is! They can't even use a browser. The kids don't know anything about technology if not app on phone:("
And idk dude like. I'm not gonna accuse these people of lying but I am gonna accuse them of being completely biased with absolutely no self reflection at all. You sound like your parents. Like holy shit. First of all, LOTS of us [aged<20] have had computer classes. "Computer lab" was a class all throughout primary school for me, and in grade 8 I had a required course where I learned some Python, had to use Adobe Photoshop, that kind of stuff. I know so many people who go further than that (including myself) and take elective coding classes. Now, it would be incredibly fucking biased of me to conclude that, because almost everyone I know is at the very least functional with a computer and can use a mouse, this means everyone is. Of course not. But thats what these posts do. "I only interact with children who don't know this, therefore no one under 20 knows anything and they're all stupid with their little tik toks" you have a very incomplete sample of kids at this age, and you barely acknowledge it.
Secondly, more on the self reflection bit. This is absolutely a privilege issue. Not a "the kids are so dumbb omggg" issue. Kids don't have computer classes? It's a privilege I was able to get that education. Should we mock people who didn't have music classes growing up and don't know the difference between a rhythm and a beat? If your answer to that is no, then maybe we shouldn't mock kids for not knowing the difference between a search engine and a browser. I know plenty of people bring up the issue to try and get at this, but I cant shake the undertone that all of these posts have in common, which is essentially this air of superiority, like people who grew up with desktop computer access are somehow better than people who didn't, which is just kind of terrible?? Like no joke, I've seen people complaining about uni students who don't really know the ins and outs of programming yet in undergrad and its like,,, did you just not want them to go to school because they didn't know that prior to post secondary? Like, what do you think school is for? Being perfect all the time and telling the teacher that you know everything already? I was under the impression that school was for acquiring knowledge and skills that you previously didnt have.
I also know people who are much older than me, and could have been coding all of their life, but didn't so much as touch a computer until after college, and they learned how to use it, and how to code, and now it's their career! You don't need to learn how computers work when you are five! I grew up scribbling on ms paint and being confused how solitaire worked, and struggling to comprehend minesweeper strategy on a very old version of Windows. I could functionally operate a mouse at the age of one, and that's all privilege. I'm not smarter, or better or more refined or anything, I was literally just born into a family that had desktop computers. And again, to point out the bias, I know way more adults that fit the whole "don't understand it if it's not an app on my phone" than kids.
Finally, a minor nitpick but I feel like it's warranted since the people authouring these posts often present themselves as being more knowledgeable about computers than the average teen? Don't go just saying incorrect bullshit. If you mean PC, say pc. If you mean a desktop computer, or a laptop, say that. Phones are not "fake computers" they just ARE computers. They are computers that have been engineered to be tiny. Their size does not mean they are not computers, it just means they are small. Furthermore, an "app" isn't a "thing u use on a phone." It's literally just the word application shortened. Anytime you use an application that you download on a laptop, or a pc or whatever, you are using an app. Your browser application is an app. I hate to tell you, but it must be said.
Sorry if anything I said in this is straight up wrong, I am not immune to hypocrisy, yadda yadda you know the deal. I also AM NOT an expert on computers, I have (what I, a teenager consider to be) a relatively baseline understanding of computers. And I'm writing this exhausted because I can't sleep. Admittedly on the mobile app, (which explains any typos) but I swear to you that I have a laptop and I use it more than I use my phone most days. I doubt anyone will really see this post but thanks for reading if you got this far I guess. Maybe let's just not fearmonger about "the kids these days" when we should be trying to help kids become functioning adults. I didn't get past my struggles with reading as a kid by being told that I was stupid, or getting mocked. I got past them by finding a book that I loved, and by being encouraged to read by adults who genuinely cared about my education. I really don't see how computers are different, that's all I have to say.

sometimes i forget how old mother 3 is. like, i know in my head "2006" but i don't really comprehend that until i stumble across fanart from like 2008 and am like "damn this was made when i was five years old". lucas being in smash doesn't have that effect on me because he almost feels like an entirely different being, it's just fanart that does.
it's kinda surreal to me that i am drawing the same character that someone did sixteen years ago. especially if i see similar concepts--thinking that someone thought "oh this would make a great drawing idea for the twins" except instead of it being yesterday it was in the year 2012 whilst i in the same instance was playing mario kart 7 past my bed time at nine years old, didn't even know how to draw yet beyond poorly scribbling yoshi in ms paint on occasion, and lucas to me was "the weird kid from smash bros" that i never gave a second thought and would not give a second thought for another seven years. more surreal when i think about how that artist has become the nine year old me in that they probably moved on years ago and now mother 3 to them is "a game they liked a long time ago"
and yea that can apply to just about anything, but i guess it's the mother series' niche nature that makes it different to me. it's such a small, cozy fandom that I forget that maybe years and years ago it was different at some point. another part being i didn't know anything about mother 3 before 2019 and actively avoided spoilers until i finished it in late 2022, so my brain thinks it's this recent thing because i'd never known anything about it for so long, when in reality i just lived under a rock
idk tho maybe i'm not making any sense

THE ARTIST.
Wednesday x Fem!Reader
Warnings: Some making out
Word count: 1.7k
Summary: Wednesday asked to see your collection of artwork, which went well.
A/N: Hey everyone. This is my first uploaded fanfic, I hope you like it! I surely will upload more, I take requests!!
Tumblr media
"Y/N Y/L/N, you're late." Ms. Thornhill spoke. Your sudden appearance stopped her mid-teaching.
"Pardon me, Ms. Thornhill. I was doing- business." You chuckled sheepishly, your eyes glancing at the students one by one, trying to search for a specific presence.
You were interrupted when Ms. Thornhill asked you a question, "Now Miss Y/L/N, could you please tell me the name of this plant that I'm holding?"
You stared at the plant as you walked closer to it. Studying and analyzing its color, petal, and smell. At that moment, you instantly knew it was the one unique-looking poisonous plant. "Ah! That's Aconitum. Also known as Wolf's bane." You answered with confidence in your voice.
At the same moment, you didn't realize that one particular girl was intensely staring at you with a hint of admiration.
"Perfect! Thank you, Miss Y/L/N, you may take a seat." Ms. Thornhill gestured to the seats.
Of course, you scanned the room to look for one girl, hoping the seat beside her is empty.
And it was.
Your gaze stopped at the alluring figure who was softly flipping the pages of her textbook. You walked up to her and sat down beside her quietly.
"Hi, Wednesday," You greeted, knowing she'll only reply with her signature death glare.
"Y'know, you could also try saying hi too for once." You joked, with a hint of seriousness.
"I don't want to dissipate my time talking to mindless people." Wednesday replied flatly, as usual.
Not knowing how to respond to her statement, you replied with a simple nod. Fetching your sketchbook from your backpack, instead of your textbook. You started scribbling something, and the girl beside you averted her eyes slowly to the direction of your sketchbook. Staring with curiosity.
"If you want to watch me draw, just say so. I won't mind," You stated, finishing off your sketch with a gentle brush from your thumb, revealing it to be a detailed drawing of a stalk of black petunia. "Black petunias, it somewhat reminds me of you." You added.
Without you realizing, you have made the girl's stone-cold heart flutter a little. But she hid it with an eyeroll and proceeded to ignore you once again. You smiled either way and continued to sketch the whole period.
-----
"I despise her, Enid. She makes me feel abnormal things." Wednesday spoke as her fingers were clicking on her typewriter.
"And what are those 'abnormal things' that you're referring to?" Enid replied while having her nails painted by Thing.
"The way she makes my heart stir a little after telling something about me or the way my eyes light up everytime she's close by, I don't like it. It's quite agonizing." She replied, emphasizing the last part.
"Awe, Wednesday, you're just in love. You should go talk to her, I heard she likes you back!" Enid replied with energy, slightly moving her hand and accidentally smearing the nail polish all over her finger. "Oh, shoot! I'm so sorry, Thing. I'm way too ecstatic. Wednesday has a crush!~" She teased, walking up to the girl working on her novel.
"Enid, stop. She doesn't like me, and I don't like her." Wednesday retorted, tidying the pages of her novel.
"I could help you get close to her, if you want." Enid spoke, standing beside Wednesday and nudging her shoulder.
Wednesday contemplated for a while, and with a face of disappointment, "How?" She asked and sighed.
-----
Steadying your posture, you pulled the arrow back, took a deep breath, and released the arrow. Much to your surprise, it landed right in the center.
"Dang, nice aim." Xavier said, dabbing you up.
"Please, these are too easy." You joked while making stupid celebratory movements.
You were doing archery with Xavier, your archery teacher and partner in crime. You and Xavier have lots of similarities. Like how you two have impeccable talent for drawing, the only difference is that Xavier has the ability to bring his illustrations to life.
"So, how's that thing going with Wednesday?" He asked, suddenly bringing up your crush.
"As usual, man. She's hard to impress." You replied promptly.
He laughed and punched your shoulder lightly as a response. You slapped his stomach afterwards.
You were preparing to shoot another arrow when you sensed the presence of a raven-haired girl beside you. As a reflex, you flinched, causing you to let go of the arrow and it landing on the center again.
"Shit, Wednesday! What the hell?" You screamed, dropping your bow and placing your hand on Xavier's shoulder, who was also startled by the girl.
"Y/N." The girl spoke.
"Hey? I thought you didn't want to 'dissipate your time talking to mindless people', why are you here?" You asked with seriousness.
“I wish to see your art room.” Wednesday spoke up out of nowhere, her emotionless face on display.
You were puzzled by her suddenness of the favor, "Why-"
"Please don't ask questions, am I permitted to see your art room?" She asked, cutting you off.
"Uh- well- I guess?" You replied, stuttering.
Wednesday nodded and looked up to you and Xavier before walking back to wherever she's going to.
You and Xavier looked at eachother, "Dude, go! Your chance!" Xavier spoke, slapping your back.
You, still puzzled by the girl's question, nodded and followed the girl.
"About time you catch up." Wednesday stated, her gaze fixed on the scene in front of her.
"Why do you want to see my art room? And, now?" You asked, piling up questions.
"Yes, now. When again?" She returned, ignoring the first question.
You nodded, still on the way to your dorm. When you two were almost at your dorm, your mind reminded you about all the Wednesday portraits you drew. You widened your eyes at the sudden thought. Your heart was racing, and cold sweat was starting to slide out of your head.
When you were already infront of your dorm room, Wednesday was waiting for you to open it. "Wednesday, I, uhh, I don't think you can see my art room today." You spoke nervously, earning a glare from the girl.
"Why? You were fine with it just a few minutes ago." She asked.
She wasn't patient enough to wait for an unclear reply from you, so she opened the door and went inside, with you joining her seconds later. "Uh, welcome to my domain, Wednesday. I have no roommate because I requested not to have one. I needed more space for my art." You explained in hopes that Wednesday wouldn't discover your incredibly detailed sketches of her.
"I could only wish." Wednesday retorted while going through the pages of your illustrations.
"Your drawings are incredibly detailed, Y/N. You must have an amazing pair of hands." She complimented, flipping through the pages of one of your sketchbooks that she picked up.
If you are stunned by her comment, she would owe Enid a hug and Thing a hand lotion. If you aren't, she'll give them the opposite- or maybe even worse.
"Oh, um, thank you! I will treasure that compliment forever." You replied, smiling uncontrollably.
Great. Now she needs to give Enid a hug and buy Thing some hand lotion.
Wednesday was slowly walking up to the big canvas you were worrying so much about without you realizing it because apparently you were still dazed by her compliment.
Once you're back to your senses, her hands were already pulling down on the sheet covering the canvas. Widening your eyes, you screamed, "Wait no, not that one!"
Too late.
Wednesday took a step back to see what the drawing was, and when she realized it was her, she turned to look at you who was standing like a stone statue then back at the drawing. She fairly studied the sketch. It was when she was playing her cello. She could tell you drew this thoroughly and accurately. What she was most interested in was how you drew her face. You drew her face as if she was trapped in the feeling of playing the cello, which she was.
"I'm sorry, I feel like a creep for drawing you. To be honest, I have a bunch of them," You took a step closer to her and fetched one of your sketchbooks from a pile of them. You showed her the label attached to the book, which said 'Addams'. You handed the book to her, and the girl opened the book and saw pages of sketches of her doing something.
"This one is my personal favorite," you said, pointing to the large canvas.
"I saw you playing the cello the other day, you looked very passionate playing that cello of yours. I've never seen you so energetic like that, so uh, I drew it." You explained.
"Don't be sorry for something you're not guilty of." The girl infront of you commented, looking at you right in the eyes.
You saw this as a chance to open up, so you did.
"Can I tell you something?- Actually you know what, I'll say it right away," You took a deep breath, Wednesday looking at you in confusion- and hope.
"I...like you, Addams. I've liked you since our first conversation ever, which was, I think, two months ago...yeah. I like you. Heh," You spoke fast, too fast.
The raven haired girl stared at you in awe, you were worried that she wasn't comfortable about this.
To ease the tension, you spoke again, "Look, I know you don't like me back and such, but-"
Wednesday cut you off by pressing her lips against yours. Your body jolted by the sudden gesture but you joined the kiss right away. You cupped her cheeks and smiled to the kiss, confident that Wednesday could sense your happiness. The kiss was soft and passionate. Wednesday's lips felt good on yours. You tried to extend the duration by heating up the kiss. The two of you enjoyed this moment too much. Too much, the both of you were obsessed with eachother already.
-----
Wednesday entered Ophelia Hall quietly, which startled her roommate a little when she heard the door close.
"Oh Wednesday! So, how'd it go?" Enid asked, elongating her words.
"Nothing much happened." Wednesday shrugged and walked over to her typewriter.
"Aww man! But tell me, what happened there?" Her roommate asked out of curiosity.
"I became her girlfriend." Wednesday replied, starting to type on her typewriter.
At that moment, the room was filled with Enid's squeals of excitement. She also did a victory dance, which slightly annoyed Wednesday. But she was also slightly happy that she now has a thing with you.

do you have any rules/guidelines you go by when designing and creating a site? i love your web design, the way you combine style with accessibility is very inspiring; i really struggle with that balance
First off: thanks very much for your compliments about my site building. I put a lot of effort into what I create, so it's always nice to hear others enjoy my style or formatting of pages, thanks again.
TL:DR; Start simple and expand when the simple stage is done, don't delete that old half-finished page keep it up somewhere (gives you progressive reference AND a paper trail for growing accessibility wise), and don't be afraid to take inspiration from other sites.
Rambled response under the cut.
I took some time to ruminate on a response here lol. Bounced around some advice or input but ultimately I think starting simple is your best friend in coding.
Starting simply can be useful not even strictly from a site-building perspective, anything from inspiration, to pictures you'll use, to a color palette really. If you start with a bunch of concepts you want to utilize or bring to life your code can wind up very messy very fast, and sometimes you'll start disliking what you're making even if you're nowhere near the end goal you originally had in mind.
I see it a lot from the Neocities sites I follow actually. People start on HUGE webpage ideas, total site overhauls, and burn themselves out when the piece isn't coming to life exactly how they panned it out. I'd recommend even scribbling pencil-sketches for base site layouts, leave the flashy graphics people normally plan around out of it until a later stage in coding, and see how that feels. So many of my pages started as "ghdksdfg.png" from ms paint, seriously. Visualizing your layouts is a lifesaver.
The second point, which I emphasize a lot to people looking to really start up a Neocities or even just get into misc. coding is: keep your old code. Do it. I don't care how messy and shitty and unstable it is- same with keeping old art, you'll notice your progression AND it will be ten thousand times easier to reflect on things like accessibility if you have an old reference point. I've looked back on old code and gone "shit, I forgot (feature)" which more times than not is a QOL (quality of life) implement for the whole page. You're giving yourself a paper trail for improvement AND mistake catching. Big bonus.
Last: everybody has done everything before. Everybody. No matter what your site looks like someone can done that combination of div placements or used that graphic or ETC ETC ETC. Comparison kills. Grab a layout idea you like from some old 2000s cartoon site. See someone use a custom border? Take a look at it and figure out how to do it yourself. Want someone's code for a music player or calendar or gallery? Ask them for it or replicate it. Using inspiration isn't something you should be wary of and sometimes it leads to overthinking in web design.
I could ramble a lot more about design especially in the current Neocities sphere, but I'll try to stick to these 3 points which I think could be helpful.
If you want me to expand on any points or specify anything else let me know. If you also had any further questions I'll try my best to answer them in a more coherent way LOL. I've been on a schoolwork grind, so I hope I'm cohesive enough here.

Pointless and late introduction post so you know what you're getting into.
Tumblr media
I am Rei. I'm an edgy artist in my thirties. Welcome to my little corner of the hell site. I'm non-binary, and I prefer they/them pronouns, but I don't mind he/she either.
My art primarily focuses on pretty women and feminine males. I love the anime and furry aesthetics because they're cute, so expect to see both. As far as themes go I like to draw wholesome cuteness, liminal spaces, violence, horror, depression, and hardcore sexual kinks.
On that note however: All characters in my sexual artwork are over 20, and also my art is NOT AN ENDORSEMENT OF ANY PROBLEMATIC FANTASY!!! Exploring these in art is as valid as roleplaying them with a consenting partner. If you have some sort of trauma, don't follow! If you're here to morally grandstand, you're blocked! If you're a minor, you're also blocked!
Anyway, I have several characters I hyper-fixate on, and you can expect to see a lot of fanart of them in this blog. I consider the following to be my muses/waifus whatever. I love them dearly:
Remilia Scarlet
Bridget (Guilty Gear)
Amy Rose
Rouge the Bat
Sadako Yamamura
Kiss-shot
I also have characters I like to draw a lot because they're relatable. I just think they're super cool and they bring me comfort and joy:
Madotsuki
Ryuugu Rena
Yakui-san, the Maid
Iwakura Lain
I also have a few OCs, though I haven't made much art of them yet to justify it's own section. Most of my non-fanart drawings are one offs anyway.
My art style might be a little unusual, and I have a few ways of drawing that vary from very simple to more ambitious. I'm always experimenting, and my art might not be for everyone. But if there's anything the internet has taught me is that there is no bad art. I see some of you out there making scribbles on MS Paint that still resonate with me deeply despite not being technically impressive.
If you read it this far, I thank you for your attention and I hope you enjoy my art, which you can check by searching the #art tag in this blog, or heading over to my Newgrounds page.
This blog might be reblog heavy at times. I apologize for that, I am very much obsessed with all the great art on the internet.

You may not be the most braindead chronically online loser I've seen on here, but you're definitely in the top 10. Also I don't know how you think people would pay for your ugly ass low effort commissions, they range from looking like a 12 year old just discovered MS paint to a quarter finished doodle on some math homework
Tumblr media
Well anon that's because some of them are quite literally made in MS Paint.
But also,my art is not low effort, I put time and love and joy into most everything I draw. Because I enjoy drawing.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Like yeah they're sloppy and scribbly and they look very unfinished but I like doing it.
Shit, even the MS Paint stuff I enjoy.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Yeah they're not good. But they're fun to make.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
I draw mainly for myself. I draw my OCs a lot.
Because I enjoy it. I like what I do.
And I improve!
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
DOKI DOKI JUMPSCARE.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
So uh.
Sorry you don't like my art, anon. And YEAH ffuck it does hurt a bit that no one wants to commission me, but that's ok. Because it doesn't stop me from making art that I enjoy.
Also yes I am chronically online blah blah blah I don't have a job yet and I'm not really trying all that hard to get one yadda yadda. I'm not a loser I'm a jock, I'm not braindead I'm autistic and correct and based and so on and so forth anyway why do you feel the need to hide behind anon or even send hateful shit in the first place? Who does it benefit? Not me, it's not going to make me change my beliefs, and it's certainly not helping you. I mean, you wasted your time seething over some autist online who makes "ugly low effort art" and I took that as an opportunity to show off some of my art.
I think instead of being a cringe hater, you should try being a based music fan. And by that I mean, I want people to listen to my playlist of songs I like immediately.
So yeah. :) :P :3

If I were to (hypothetically) draw you, do you have a specific drawing of yourself or a sona to (hypothetically) portray yourself
I've never really drew myself, and I don't really have a sona, but if I did I'd make it look like Sackboy
Tumblr media
Maybe with beige fabric though?? And with slightly bigger eyes? I'm not sure I'll have to hit MS paint when I have the chance
I specifically use MS paint whenever I scribble because my doodles always end up looking funny and I like it like that, I usually delete them after because they're always just random stuff, like when my and my friend were imagining Cotton-Eye Joe as a pied piper predator-like alien but specifically for fiances

Alba and the nameless protag
Alba's a demon / virus who takes the form of a white cat made out of smoke, visible only to her host. Her species requires hosts to reproduce, though I'm not sure what the next step of that cycle is yet. It should be something absurd and unlikely.
The infected host is only contagious when the demon / virus is at full maturity and ready to release little babies into the environment.
Until maturity, they go through cycles of dormancy and growth, with intense pain at the start of each cycles they spread through their hosts' cells and mutate them.
They don't kill their hosts if they can help it, because that'd just be a good way to go extinct.
Tumblr media
[ID: A scribbled, black and white MS Paint drawing showing a bald person in a sleeveless tunic holding out one arm straight away from them, frowning, asking, with an annoyed expression, "Can u not?" On the top of the person's outstretched arm is a cat made of smoke, represented by curly lines, smiling with sharp teeth and saying, "No", with a large heart next to the dialogue. End ID.]
I need a name for the species...
Edit: now named Fumoformis malcattus. Called smoke cats in general.
Feel free to use this idea.

Do you have any art advice?
Sorry for the VERY belated reply but..
Yes of course I have some (general) advice, that have helped me as an artist.
Buckle up, because it's going to be a long post.
Start a Sketchbook. If it's your first ever try at dipping your fingers into these, you can turn an average notebook into one to overcome your fear of ruining a 30zł costing sketchbook in the future. If you're afraid of ruining your first page of your sketchbook, then just draw what the year is. Trust me when I say this, this has been my go-to when filling up the first page EVER SINCE I STARTED IT BACK IN 2019. Once you'll have 10+ sketchbooks finished, you can look back at your first and current sketchbook and see how your skills have changed over time.
Sign up to Pinterest and start making boards for thing like: Art inspo, references, etc. I created mine back in mid-2020 and I've gotta say, this has been one of my sources of inspo ever since. Of course, Pinterest is not just an art inspo-exclusive site, as there are things like cooking tutorials, room decor ideas, Hell.. even MEMES are here..
Don't be afraid to try out other blending modes other than Multiply, Add or Overlay. These three aforementioned blending modes are surely neat and all, but there are more blending modes out there (thought the full amount of those depends on the art program you're using, I use FireAlpaca btw). There are such layer modes like: Difference, Hard Light, Darken, Screen, Exclusion, Luminosity to name a few. So go out, experiment with them in your art, mix-and-match then and see what you'll get.
Use references. Look, I know that the "JuSt PrAcTiCe" advice is NOT ENOUGH to help an artist, and I get that (That's why I've listed my first tip as "Go grab a sketchbook"), however there's a little catch... Let's say... you wanna draw something for example... Hands - the most tedious part of the human body that a lot of artists are struggling to draw correctly. You try to draw it on paper.. and suddenly - You've just realized, that the hand you drew, didn't come out as you expected. So what do you do in this situation? Well you go search up 'hand references' of course. You can do that with other things like: backgrounds, computers, skateboards, weird deep-sea animals like Giant Isopods etc... ...or you just want to try out a different art style References are a good tool, if you don't know how some things work in an artistic sense, that's all I'm saying.
Use you art program's features to AN ADVANTAGE. Especially the filters tab. I use FireAlpaca to make art. It's a free art program, so I don't have to pay over 100zł montly, unlike Photoshop or.. Clip Studio Paint. However it doesn't have that many features or filters like Photoshop does, and that's okay. Because despite this, you can make great art with it. Wanna make a picture you've just pasted from the web to have some nice halftones? Well you can covert the layer into an 8-bit one, enable halftones and adjust to your liking. Wanna have some interesting colors in your art? Use Gradiation map or Tone Curve and fuck around. Want your art to have a softer look? Use a 'Soft Light' mode, go to 'Gaussian Blur' and later go to 'Levels' and adjust the to your liking. Wanna make a drawing have a pixel-ish look? you can use the 'Mosaic' filter for that. The list goes on.
Last but not least... Have Fun. Art has no rules. You can make fanarts of your favourite series 24/7, make numerous paintings of landscapes on canvas, draw your OCs, doodle on Ms Paint of all things.. or just scribble things in your sketchbook. In the end you're making art, and what matters the most is that you're having fun with it. So go out while you're drawing (as long as you're not harming anybody)
Yeah, that's all

See, this is extremely interesting to me -the fact that they can travel through paintings as well as photos. Because where do you draw the line? What medium does the portrait have to be, and how good of a likeness? Could Charlie just scribble a stickman of Paton with a biro and jump in to talk to him if he needs help??
Also I'm living for Paton's "You probably won't die but idk tho" LMAO
