she rolls her eyes when his reply rolls in, claiming that he follows her twitter where she announced it. "it's time for you to go out and do something else besides stalking me, logan," she scoffs jokingly with the roll of her eyes.

sleep deprivation sucked.

2-3 hours a night was all you were going off of. it wasn’t enough to keep your brain healthy or your body.

constant headaches, unfocused eyes, micro sleep, confusion, it all was ass

but there was nothing you could do in the moment to fix it, you just kept staying awake at night to either game or finish work projects and paperwork.

sickness sometimes finds you when you’re like this, nauseous from lack of sleep, headaches making your eyes hurt.

you tried your best to fight back the sleep that demanded itself, but failed.

Genji was silent in his approach to your desk, you knew he was there, you could sense him.

Your laptop was too bright, your eyes were unfocused and you could barely feel yourself slowly lean forward to the desks surface. A hand on your shoulder wakes you up enough to realize you were holding down a single key on your keyboard and the open document on your screen now had a long line of Vs.

“Hiya Genji.” you slur almost, as you closed your eyes only for the entire world to pulse around you, sounds were too sharp and too dull at the same time, breathing in and out seemed to take all your strength, but your strength was elsewhere trying to fight off sleep.

“You don’t look too good.” He stated flatly, his helmet off as he rested in comfortable clothing.

You glance up to see him, eyes focusing on his face, “Thanks.” was all you had the energy to respond with.

He looked at your laptop, reading what you were writing but telling by his confused and concerned face you think you just wrote gibberish that your brain thought sounded like a normal sentence.

“How long have you been awake?” His voice dripping with concern but his voice buzzed in your ears and bounced around your head for a second before you could process what he said.

“I’ve had 5 hours of sleep this week.” You yawn and look away from his wide eyed expression.

It was Saturday. 11pm.

Your body didn’t have enough energy to even move it felt like.

“Okay,” he dragged out the word and closed your laptop. “Let’s get you to bed yea?” The way he said it made you know there was no changing his mind.

You didn’t want to admit you needed sleep but at the same time your head was throbbing and the thought of cuddling with your Genji was enough to perk you up more.

You mumbled out an okay before trying to stand on wobbly knees, your body feeling light yet heavy at the same time. A flesh hand came to steady you and hold you before you heard a sigh and suddenly you were swept off your feet and being carried to the bedroom.

“You need to take better care of yourself.” Concern laced his words as he placed you on the bed carefully.

“I know I know,” you made a grabby hand motion at him and he smiles, soon making his way to the bed as well, cuddling up beside you. You used his still flesh side as a pillow as he laid on his back. “I’m sorry Genji.”

He ran fingers along your scalp, scratching softly, putting you in a trance. “I know you don’t do field work anymore but you still need to rest.”

“I will, I will.” Was all you could mumble out before almost instantly falling asleep. the last thing you felt was his lips against your forehead.

The next morning Genji barley let you leave the bedroom after you slept for nearly 14 hours. He made you food and sat and ate with you in the bed while the two of you watched Cowboy Bebop. Your work could wait till monday, you just wanted to enjoy the last day of the weekend resting with him.

you were out for a walk with Ramattra

the spring air buzzed with life as you two passed by trees, bird song filling silence, bees resting on flowers as they bumbled their fat little bodies around

it was a nice walk, one to clear your mind and his systems, just to think and be together

you didn’t see a tree root and you fell and ate dirt, twisting your ankle

“oh ow ow ow ow ow.” you let out a string of curses from behind clenched teeth.

Your ankle throbbed, it felt warm and tingly at the same time, pain shooting through your foot and up your shin. You do what your dumb brain tells you to and you roll it to make sure it’s not broken, thankfully it isn’t but the pain takes the air from your lungs with a sharp gasp.

Ramattra stared down at you on the ground, unmoving as he studied you. He watched as you tried to get back up with only the use of one leg, holding onto a tree for support as you stood with your leg raised like a dog that’s paw got stepped on.

“Fragile things you humans are. You tripped and now you can’t stand?” His voice wasn’t as harsh as it once was many moons ago, but he still said it with some form of exasperation.

You set your foot on the ground, testing it and instantly regretting it as pain erupts again.

You ignore his comment, “Oh gods I don’t know if i can walk back.”

“Weakling.” He said but held out his arm for you to take. There was no malice in his vocal synthesizers.

You did, leaning against him. Thanking him as you both turned around and took a step to head back to base. As you tried to put weight on your ankle you winced and let out a hiss.

“I really fucked myself up good.” You laugh a little as you stare down at your feet.

“Do you need me to carry you?” His voice buzzed with slight concern, you wouldn’t have noticed it unless you had spent enough time with the Omnic, and you have.

You look up at him with a smirk, a look that pokes him, “You goin soft on me Ram?”

He tenses a tiny tiny bit more than he already was, “No!” He said a bit too quickly. “It would take us ages to get back with your condition and I am not going to wait on you. It would be faster for me to carry you there. Simple.”

You ponder for a second, before nodding your head. Why would you ever give up the opportunity to be carried by this giant?

Ramattra let’s out a fake sigh and grabs you by the midsection, lifting you up and placing your butt on his right shoulder. You were expecting to be carried in his arms but sitting on his shoulder was way more fun already. You felt like a bird resting on his broad shoulders.

“Thanks, you big softie.” You pat his head to make your point.

He moves his right arm to hold your hips, keeping you stable and you use his arm as a grip. “I’m not doing this for you.” He grumbled but the way he made sure you weren’t going to fall off said otherwise.

He waited for you to give the word and he started to make his way back, you on his shoulder and enjoying being really tall.

so, he will silently observe you every time you get to play on your console/pc

it is both adorable how much he cares about your health and yet annoying how he basically scolds you as if you are a child

if you happen to have any multiplayer games he will want to play with you, though he wouldn't know how to approach the topic

so instead he will sit beside you and watch

It was one of those nights; calm rain tapped at the windows of your apartment. Inside it was gloomy with the only light source being your screen; the room was relatively quiet aside from the sound of your fingers hitting the buttons and your vocalized reactions. Connor stood by the door with his side resting against it as he observed you; his head was slightly tilted to the side, and his soft brown eyes were glued on you, yet you didn't sense it. Nor did you sense as he silently crept into the room only to sit next to you, for you were too focused on the game.

"Hi, love." Your eyes peeled off the screen for a split second to glance at him.

he would discuss with you what the best choice is and will go on and explain why he roots for certain characters

once you get too tired he will urge you to go to sleep

he will turn your console/pc off and gently carry you to bed

secretly, he would be excited to hear you share yet another interest with him

if you two live together it wouldn't be a rare occurrence for you to have a night in; take out sitting on the coffee table as you two play your favorite multiplayer game in ungodly hours of the night until you can't keep your eyes open

having taken care of humans, Markus tends to keep track of your habits and make sure they aren't affecting your health

so be prepared for him to advise you to not spend that much time in front of the screen

other than that he's a total sweetheart

I doubt he would want to join you in a game since he prefers other activities such as going for a walk or playing the piano/ painting

though he would occasionally ask you about your favorite games

as mentioned earlier he's a care giver

he will make sure you are hydrated and your nutrition is taken care of

it wouldn't be a rare occurance for him to come into the room with a glass of water and a table of healthy snacks

"You're the best you know that." You smile at him as you take a grape and swallow it whole, which in return causes him to smile back.

"Don't forget to drink water." he reminded you as he headed out, the smile on his face still curling the corners of his lips.

I feel like a recent years have shown that fan reaction has influenced the way Sega handles Sonic in some ways. Frontiers for example in a lot of ways feels like a reaction to complain. So a lot of fans have had about mainline Sonic games.

With that said what do you think about Sega making a multi-character 3D action game Sonic and then slapping it on a platform that has some of the least amount of player reach despite being a mainline platform?

I would be very curious to know more about the development behind Dream Team for sure, but as far as I'm aware the game was more than likely made specifically for Apple Arcade from the very start with heavy involvement from Apple, rather than being a project Sega was shopping around that just so happened to end up as an Apple exclusive.

I have to assume that this game would not exist at all if it wasn't an Apple Arcade project. Hardlight is very much Sega's mobile game division first and foremost, so it's unlikely (if not impossible) that Sega would've had them working on a 3D Sonic platformer for consoles and PC when that's Sonic Team's job. And Apple Arcade's subscription revenue is basically the only home for mobile games that aren't chock full of ads, microtransactions, and wait timers these days. So while it could theoretically get ported elsewhere in the future, it's unlikely that Dream Team ever would've gotten made for any other platform.

Like, there are already two Sonic games on Apple Arcade. Sonic Racing (based off of TSR) was one of the earliest releases for the service and has always been heavily promoted as one of Apple Arcade's flagship games. Later they also did Sonic Dash+, a version of the existing endless runner game with the ads and microtransactions stripped out. I have to assume that these games have done well on Apple Arcade, and Apple simply looked at that and went "Hey, what if we got them to make us an ORIGINAL Sonic game?" Apple Arcade also appeals pretty heavily to parents who want their kids to have something to play on their iPads that isn't cram full of microtransactions, and Sonic remains extremely popular with kids.

But beyond that, why they landed on a full 3D platformer with SIX playable characters, some amount of story, and a new style of level design that takes some influence from skate parks? Who knows. Maybe some folks at Sega Hardlight were just dying to make something like that, and the Apple gig was their opportunity to make it happen after so many years being stuck working on glorified Skinner boxes. Or maybe Apple thought a 3D platformer would be good to diversify their portfolio. Again, I'd be very curious to learn more

(Also, honestly, as annoyed as I am that I have to play Dream Team on my iPad instead of my PC or a console, I do find the talking point that "no one will be able to play it" extremely silly. There are billions of iPhones, iPads, Mac computers, and to a lesser extent Apple TVs out there. Billions. With a B. Apple Arcade reportedly had over 100 million users last year. That's quadruple the number of subscribers Game Pass had, even though if you asked the average gamer they'd probably assume Game Pass was the more popular one! Exclusivity is always frustrating, and I sympathize with folks annoyed that they don't have any devices that can play it, but the fandom deciding that "only six people will be able to play this" is completely divorced from reality.)

I have been considering getting into Linux but the only thing holding me back is game support really, as I'm primarily a PC gamer. How difficult would you say dual booting really is (as in, "how difficult is it to achieve" *and* "how difficult/quick is it to swap between OSes")? Does specific distro affect the difficulty? Do you think it would be worth it?

Also, what are your favorite or recommended distros? I've been told about a few mainly on fedi but haven't looked too far into many. Mint gets frequently recommended, for instance.

I have actually never dual booted before, so opening that up to anyone reading who has! I don't think it's more difficult with one distro compared to another, probably. It is fairly easy to set up as far as I'm aware, your install disc should have an option to set dual booting up for you, nothing too arcane. But anything past that, I don't know much about.

Personally vanilla Debian is my favorite but Ubuntu-based distros have the advantage of being the distros that Valve targets, like the build of Steam on their site is specifically built for those distros. You can get Steam running on other types of Linux though, but that is still an advantage for gaming stuff. (Among other things, it's not uncommon for "game with a Linux build" to really mean "game with an Ubuntu build")

Mint is Ubuntu-based, but the defaults for it are more user-friendly so imo it makes a good distro for gamers.

I personally consider it worth it, some of it is my personal philosophy and some of it is more basic practical stuff like Linux running faster, having better UI customization, not having all the bloat and adware that comes on a fresh install of Windows (although there are means to remove that bloat, of course)

Also not having to reboot and lock my computer to update, oh my god.

Extra notes for gaming, now that I have a Linux gaming setup to reference from:

The current thing I mainly have issues with is MMOs with client-side anti-cheat, some of them really don't want to play with Linux compatibility tools. There are people who have gone to efforts to get these running on Linux but it's a pain in the ass and I don't care enough to do that.

Proton GE can be really helpful for some games. I run most of my games through vanilla wine, but I did end up needing GE to run FF7R. If you're not already a Linux user with Existing Ways You Do Things, just running things through Steam+Proton is generally going to work out just fine for you. You can play pirated Windows games this way too, just add them as non-Steam games and run them through Steam.

If you have very recent hardware, and are going with Mint or another Ubuntu-based distro, go for the edge edition. The old kernel on the standard edition can be kinda finicky with brand new hardware.

In the modern au I think it would be funny if both zote and hornet were gaming live streamers, where zote was absolutely terrible but people watched him because it's very unintentionally funny how confident he is compared to his skill level.

Whereas hornet is amazing at the games she plays but she has so much gamer rage that she keeps getting banned for toxicity in increasingly funny ways.

100% canon. I fully believe they would both be gamers, and whether they would be streamers depends on how modern exactly is the modern AU. I personally put it somewhere in the earlier 2000s, but since it's a side AU I suppose that doesn't matter that much.

Zote would do gaming streams, but I also think he would react to videos sent by his viewers. And his reactions would be the funniest thing ever, he'd be completely dumbfounded by the most obvious things and make himself look like a fool. It would be incredibly entertaining.

Hornet would most certainly be the sweaty tryhard gamer who rages easily. She is very good at the games, so watching her would be entertaining on its own, but the rage is what makes it especially amusing. So exactly like what you described, you got it perfectly. I imagine she would play a lot of competitive online games, and would maybe offer some tips for her audience. But the rage moments is what would make her especially memorable.

Honestly, I might as well talk about the rest of the cast in this kind of setting while I'm at it.

Grimm would be incredibly good at games so that would be a big draw for his streams, but due to his type of humor I think his audience would be quite cursed to any outsider. Lots of suggestive running jokes (just earlier today I watched a random gameplay video and saw someone with a running joke where they comment "edging until [channel name] plays FNAF4" under each upload, and this is exactly the type of audience I imagine Grimm would have) and constant banter between his and his audience. Probably quite a few viewers simping for him too. Just pure chaos. One he very much enjoys.

FPK probably wouldn't play video games, he would instead stream about his latest inventions. Something like PC building streams as well, and if he's joined by Grimm or Hornet it would be extra entertaining. Though his audience would probably be the most genuine out of all of them, aside from maybe Holly. You'd have to be a nerd with very particular interests and a lot of patience to enjoy his slow paced streams about his work. And he would enjoy interacting with an audience like that, I like to think he would often stop what he's doing to respond to messages in the chat, and probably ramble quite a lot if it's something he's passionate about.

Speaking of Holly, they would be the chill vibes streamer, they'd play games like Stardew Valley. Obviously without commentary, but I think they'd find themselves a comfortable place in the "chill comfy stream" niche. Very wholesome stuff, and an incredibly chill audience.

The kids are of course too young to have their own streaming channels, but they'd often show up in the others' streams. Well, aside from Zote and Hornet. They wouldn't want any kids interrupting their streams.

After knowingly being a fan of your Star Trek work since the 90s, and having pushed Young Wizards on as many folks as I can for the last (how long have I been on here?) dozen years or so, and having bought the full download pack just before UK sales went on hiatus due to taxes, I have finally, finally started reading SYWTBAW. I'm instantly in love. The character introductions are perfect. The system explanations are natural, fitting with what the characters know themselves. I'm so happy! But that's an aside, a happy bonus...

I have been a fan of the X-Com/UFO game series since I first discovered it, which was when they brought the game to the Playstation in '95? Wow, that game was wild. I would go visit my friend and play with him, working on tactics for missions for hours on end, then come home and boot up my own system and run more missions on my own. I had multiple memory cards so I could save while engaging the enemy and also keep a save safely back at base if things went pearshaped. When I finally entered the PC-owners market in 97, it was one of the first games I installed there and I still have a copy on every computer I've owned since, and play regularly. I have the official strategy guide, and (the point of this message) I have the tie-in novel that you wrote! Finding that was a lucky thing, I've never seen or heard of another copy. I love what you did with the story, how it ties in well to the mechanics and spirit of the game without remaining constrained to the specifics of the game engine's limitations due to programming requirements.

When it came to writing about games, and writing for games such as Wing Commander, did you (do you still) play (m)any of them to learn more about the systems and lore?

Firstly: thanks for the nice words about my work. :) Much appreciated.

In answer to the question you wound up with: I'm not gaming actively at the moment... there's too much other stuff going on locally that requires my attention. But when I've been asked to participate in a game-based project, I absolutely spend as much time playing it as possible before I get down to work. I'll never be able to spend as much time on it as any given game's major enthusiasts would. But I do my homework, and make sure I have the data I need to handle the story issues and to drive a decent plot.

When I was working on Privateer 2: The Darkening, this wasn't so much of a problem, because I came in as cold as anyone else: nobody outside EA had played the game before. :) That said, I hadn't been hired for my expertise as a gamer, but as a screenwriter. I did spend a lot of time with the game designers and engineers, watching how gameplay was supposed to go and working out how I could best reinforce that rhythm in the way the scenes I was writing played out. It was a really enjoyable collaboration, as the engineers were as fascinated with what I was doing as I was with what they were up to. If there was a downside to the experience, it was having to be more or less a prisoner in Slough for six weeks while the writing and rewriting happened. But this kind of thing is an occupational hazard, best taken as gracefully as possible. (Though that wasn't hard in retrospect, especially considering the cast who wound up speaking the lines I'd written. Clive Owen, Brian Blessed, Mary Tamm, David Warner, John Hurt, Mathilda May, David McCallum, Jürgen Prochnow,... my God, what a lineup.)

X-Com: UFO Defense, though, I'd known for a long time and had played quite a bit: so when asked to pitch, I more or less came in hot with a bunch of issues that I felt needed more attention than they'd had in the actual game. I was delighted to get more or less carte blanche to handle them, and to create a bunch of edgily professional characters to run around destroying the bad guys. It was also, frankly, a ton of fun to use the narrative to blow up or drop alien spacecraft on things that (in real life) were annoying me in that timeframe. For example, in the culmination of one battle I dropped a big alien ship through the beautiful Renaissance Revival roof of the main rail station in Zurich because I was cranky about some slippery floor tile they'd installed downstairs in a refurbishment of the ShopVille shopping center. (I mean, seriously, people track huge amounts of snow and slush in down there when they come off the escalators from street level: why would you not put nonslip tile on that floor? It's deeply irresponsible. So they had it coming.) :)

...Anyway, it was really enjoyable having a chance to play around with what I imagined Earth's geopolitics to be doing under gameplay conditions, while also enacting a more than usually complex game scenario in prose. I don't know if or when I'll be doing that kind of work next, but writing the X-Com: UFO Defense novel definitely left a good taste in my mouth.

plot goes soaring over his head. though, he'd get 100% completion completely on accident bc he runs from chest to chest completing everything bc ooh shiny. (it's what i do)

definitely hops across different coop worlds to be an absolute menace. steals all your starconches, beatles and cor lapis and leaves.

a whale so team comp doesn't quite matter, but i feel like cool burst animation is a must.

RICKY - need i explain? he doesn't even play the game often, he just sees a cool looking character and swipes. feels like he would c6r5 a character if he really liked them. would get surprisingly into event content just for the exclusive items etc. cares mildly about the plot and zero for the exploration.

would play cool and pretty characters bc when you're a whale, team composition just doesn't matter.

META 🎮

MATTHEW - a confirmed nerd by his sister so you bet he's an enthusiast. pays attention to kqm, twitter and future patch leaks. grinds out for the spiral abyss and has op asf team combos. would spend but only if he knows it's worth it.

enjoys the plot and characters, but not massive on exploration. still enjoys all the characters thoroughly and knows more lore tidbits than most. is the sweetest coop friend.

GUNWOOK - okokok he'd be apprehensive at first until he pulls like c5 benny and a eula then the world of dps (damage per screenshot) awakens. fights wars in the trenches of the honeyhunterworld comments section. stays updated and dips in and out of the game.

secretly stays about for plot. finds exploration boring but can admit it's pretty. the dude who refuses to swap characters when doing coop domains. does a boss blitz when bored.

CASUALS 💫

HANBIN - ok only got it bc the kids said he should. (gyuvin uses him to get the coop achievements) actually ended up staying bc wow everything is gorgeous, the plot is engaging and the characters have depth! and it's all free ?? goes about it at a decent pace, doesn't do spiral often, just finishing floor 10.

tcg enjoyer and event player.

ZHANG HAO - TEAPOT MAIN god yeah hella into the teapot. only completes the story and everything for the teapot. comes on sometimes to help hanbin out or bc someone else needs mats from his world. has a solid overworld team for collecting mats etc.

mildly enjoys the plot but exploration is where it's at.

NOT A GAMER 🌱

JIWOONG - only got it bc everyone else did, found out it took too much space on his phone, deleted it. tried playing it on gunwook's pc but had to play zhongli with his shield up 24/7 bc mechanics are hard okay! does see it as pretty and that yeah some characters are worth spending money for but there are better ways to find enjoyment in life.

TAERAE - doesn't mind it. he just doesn't see the hype over online characters. if and when he does play, it's on someone else's account and on the tcg. man loves the tcg, making decks and sweeping the floor with everyone.

has insane pull luck.

YUJIN - hmmm he sorta thinks it's cringe but gyuvin makes him play it. defo a valorant kid. tried to make a gun didn't work. plot doesn't matter much to him, interested in some character backstory but dips out when it comes to exploring. yujin defo thinks childe, xiao and alhaitham are cool. paimon gets on his nerves the most.

Gaming With The Guys Headcanons

Chris isn't much of a gamer, but he doesn't mind playing something every once in a while. 

He'll mostly play with you, though. He doesn't enjoy doing it alone, so you'll never find him hogging your consoles or PC. 

He likes fighting games like Street Fighter, Soul Calibur, Tekken, and Mortal Kombat. Mortal Kombat is probably his favourite game because he thinks the fatalities are great. 

He was extremely amused when you showed him there is such a thing as a 'babality' too, and he wouldn't stop practising the button combos until he could execute a babality every time he managed to win from you. 

Aside from the fighting games, Chris will also play First Person Shooters with you, but he doesn't enjoy them as much. He spends too much time firing guns in everyday life, so he prefers to avoid things that have to do with shooting when he's home.

He may not be much of a gamer, but he does like it when you play online with other people. He'll sometimes watch and cheer you on. It's cute, but he can occasionally turn into a backseat gamer. You can just kick him out of the room whenever he does that.

Leon loves story-driven games. He will happily play any story-driven game with you, even if the games are very long. 

He enjoys games that are like Final Fantasy and The Witcher, but he also doesn't mind more chill games like Stardew Valley. 

He actually bought the game himself, so you can play Stardew Valley together. Sometimes all the man needs after a long day at work is to just grow crops, milk cows and redecorate your house when you're out mining for ores. 

When it comes to games like the Witcher, he enjoys watching you play it and solving the puzzles together. He does get really invested in the stories, though, so every once in a while he'll be cranky if he has to write a report when he could be spending time with you and your video games instead. 

If you write fanfiction or make fanart of the games you love, he'll want to read and see all of it. He absolutely loves it when his S/O is creative.

Carlos just wants to play older games. He has a preference for anything put out by Sega and Nintendo and insisted you both get a couple of Pokémon games. He really likes to battle you, and he's pretty damn good at it, too. 

When Pokémon Go comes out he will practically beg you to install it so you can go on lovely walks together while simultaneously catching some Pokémon. 

He also loves playing Mario games with you. It could be Mario Kart or Mario Tennis, but he's also happy to take turns while playing the original Super Mario Bros Games. 

The same goes for Sonic the Hedgehog. Sonic makes him feel nostalgic, and every time you fire up a game, he will happily yell 'Seeegaaaaaa' at the television. It's cute as heck, really. 

Carlos isn't patient enough to play games like the Legend of Zelda, but he does love the way the newer Zelda games look. He will beg you to play them so he can watch without having to make an effort himself. Weirdly, he doesn't grow impatient if you get stuck in a game; it's only when he plays them himself that his impatience becomes a problem. 

When you're not around and he's at home alone, he may play some games by himself. Mainly stuff like Donkey Kong or Double Dragon. But he prefers gaming with you, so it won't happen that often. 

When it comes to more violent games, he mainly plays a lot of GTA. He's not too violent in the games, but he does think it's fun to murder people, steal a bicycle and try to escape the police while having a 5-star wanted level. 

If you're willing, he will roleplay with you in GTA 5 as he thinks it's hilarious. He's great at coming up with funny stories, and doing some GTA RP with him is bound to make you laugh for a long time.

BONUS WESKER!

I'm kidding. Wesker is absolutely not interested in video games and will just leave you alone whenever you feel like playing them. He doesn't hate them, he just doesn't want to play or watch them himself. Sorry. I really couldn't write anything for him this time.

Hii! So I’m new in the Call of Duty fandom but I don’t play the games like on the ps5, etc… I only play Call of Duty on my phone and I got addicted and began digging deeper so here I am! Since I don’t/can’t play the different games of cod do you recommend any channels on youtube that does an amazing walkthrough of the games? I really really want to watch some walkthroughs but I don’t know whats the order of watching each game?? Does each game connect to each other? I’m still kind of confused since I’m still new😅😅. Hey anon! That's absolutely alright, I do know of some YouTube channels that you can watch that I would recommend! (I'll link videos and channels as well so it's easier for you)

If you are interested in the gameplay as well as the actors, Dan Allen Gaming is always a good place to turn. He does interviews with the call of duty actors, sometimes plays some games with them, and it's all around fun.

It's great for me to get a different aspect of it, especially the characters and personalities of each individual aside from gameplay which I enjoy. And you might too.

Hallow is another YouTuber who does pretty good playthroughs. Such as the likes of Spider-Man games, but he has a full playthrough of the Modern Warfare Two game without any commentary. He also goes through the first Modern warfare in the reboot trilogy.

Another series I saw was from Typical Gamer which has a couple-part series of the game, this time a walkthrough.

CecliusPlays HD also has some commentary and his walkthrough goes mission to mission so it's not as much a sit through.

These alone are all of JUST the 2022 reboot of modern warfare 2.

TheRadBrad also does playthroughs for both modern warfare 2 and 3.

Shirrako has a gameplay video for Call of Duty Vanguard as well.

GTA 4 PC also has a playthrough of the 2009 game. (I'm having trouble finding ones for the first game if anyone has that, great)

Gamer Max Channel has a walkthrough of the modern warfare 3 game from the og trilogy.

KAHVERENGi AYI does a full gameplay playthrough for the Call of Duty Ghost's campaign.

SycoSquirrelSSU has a playlist of their Call of Duty Black Ops walkthrough.

These are currently the only YouTubers on YouTube alone that I have watched for commentary. I usually watch them so I can go back and see little scenes for fics and stuff. And on Twitch you can find some of the Call of Duty actors who also play in Warzone if you're ever interested.

He's been playing for six hours. From the moment he woke up, he kissed you good morning and you heard the annoying fan sound of his pc booting up. He probably didn't even hear your defeated sigh at that seeing as how he put on his headset and immediately started talking to his other loser friends, who get online from the moment they wake up until they go to bed.

It's not even like they're playing together either. They just sit in a discord chat and talk while playing different games, rendering you unable to hold a conversation with your own boyfriend.

At first it was okay with you. After the two of you moved in, you knew you both would need some space both doing your own hobbies, and together. This though? This is ridiculous. For weeks now, his focus has been on that fucking game.

You get it, honestly, to an extent. Hyperfixation is one thing, but making you wait for sex is another. Multiple times now, it'll be nearing two in the morning when you ask for him to get offline and spend some time with you. Sometimes for sex, sometimes for other things. And multiple times now, he's gotten offline after you've already fallen asleep.

You're sick of it. You want your boyfriend, you want him to want you. His focus is entirely stolen by this point and honestly. You've gotta put an end to it. So you do. When he gets up to take a shower, you stare at his screen. The game isn't pausable, which can be an issue, but whatever. It's also notoriously hard, which only furthers your doubts of getting him to pay attention to you while playing said game.

You stare at the colors on screen, large snake-like enemies stomping around in the distance, red lava and fire surrounding the character as he sits at a small lit flame. Assuming it's a safe place, you can imagine that if all of the lights are off in this room, the pretty red lighting of this area could illuminate his face is such a pretty way.

And then, fighting the urge to close out of the game and uninstall it, you crawl under his desk upon hearing the shower turn off.

As expected, he comes into the room still in a towel, barely drying off before throwing on a pair of boxers and taking his seat. He takes notice of you first when he can't scoot his chair all the way under the desk, so he dips his head to look at you.

His hair is still dripping. Small water droplets land against your hands when you run them up his thighs and peek up at him.

"What're you doing?" He asks with a fond laugh, glancing at his screen only for a moment before looking back down.

"Getting the attention I need." You respond, watching the way he clicks around in a small panic, probably to make sure he's muted.

"By the way, what're you doing in the game right now?" You follow up, already snaking your hands into his boxers and gripping his length.

Instantly, it's warm in your hand and growing heavy with a desperate twitch.

"I'm about to fight this really annoying boss, why?"

You smile, gripping him tighter before tugging his boxers off of him completely.

"You'll see, I guess."

gamer aki always says GG after every match regardless of whether or not he won.

he doesn't talk in voice chat unless it's to give necessary call outs, and it distracts him when people are loud, so if his teammates are too annoying, he's immediately leaving the voice chat so he can focus on the game. he doesn't really get mad at games either, and he's not much of a trash talker. he can come off as a little rude sometimes though when he's typing to his teammates, Stop back seating. I'm trying to clutch.

his desk space is extremely clean and he dusts his PC regularly. he built it himself, and he'll gladly explain all of the parts inside and how they work. his computer itself is just as clean too, with all of his games organized into folders and his desktop screen completely clear.

he'll regularly stay up until the late hours of the night to play games, either improving his rank in fps games or grinding in mmos. but no matter how late he says up — one, two, even three in the morning — aki somehow manages to wake up early, at 7 am on the dot, every single morning. coffee is enough to keep him going throughout the day, usually. though he fears he's starting to go deaf from how much he has his headset on.

PvP games can be fun, but I definitely lean towards PvE titles.

Inherent bias

I adore women. Trans women particularly have a special place in my heart. This does not mean I will dislike anyone who isn't a woman or trans, but if you are feminine and/or transgender you will automatically gain some of my trust without having to do anything.

To clarify: video games

Over the course of our interactions, I will want to play video games with you, and I will want to hypnotize you or be hypnotized by you. That much is clear. If you don't play video games, that's okay, but as we are unlikely to live near one another, our options for doing things may possibly be limited. I will say, however, I may want to read something with/to you or watch anime/tv shows/movies with you. I don't make it a point to learn choreo, but I can typically pick up the chorus choreo after watching it a few times. vity's groovy, vanner's performer, and ini's hana are ones that I do dance along with in the car

far too much 😭 I think I bought over 20 albums over the course of the year and joined waay too many vanner group orders for pobs (if any vvs are looking for us based GOs for the upcoming comeback lmk! mare and me have a really good vanner gom on ig). I also got several ini pcs and the vanner sg which have not arrived yet
