tbh I'm scared to go to college, the things I want to study take a v long time and intensive work that you Have to be v good at to get into the field lest u mess something up. I'm scared I'm gonna get frustrated or discouraged once and decide to give up cuz I have such a bad habit of that that I'm trying so hard to overcome.

I'm like fighting my brain on the daily to understand that taking a long time and having to put in a lot of effort to learn something isn't a bad thing even if it's hard to do especially since it's something I've wanted to study all my life. It's just tough when I have this constant nagging feeling in my brain about "you're too stupid and you always have been especially when it comes to school" but I'm so sick of thinking like that!!

My brain has kept me in this prison of feeling stupid so I don't do new things which also makes me feel stupid it sucks. I wanna try new things and commit to learning even when it gets tough! I really don't really to give up !! But I'm so scared I will !

I gotta learn how to do so many things before I can make the thing I want to put him in. Skills required: Animation (Can do), Tap Dancing (Lacking practice...), Music Composition (uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh..........), Cameras (Iphones taped to the wall will do.), a good Microphone (not for singing, to capture tap dancing sounds).

So aha, that will be YEARS before I get around that, but for now, I’ll keep working on getting all the skills necessary <3.

the more i think about it the more upset i am that we didn't get a lot of female characters in mafia 2 specifically. like i wish we actually got to see and meet lauretta, serafina, leo's wife, maybe even betty too? and more francesca, just some more women in general. shit.. marty's mother after he died? like i know it's really focused on made men and how much terrifying shit they go through, and that focus is great, show the trauma men face in that kind of life, but like. surely you can tie some women in there too without taking away from either of them, like please. i feel like so many women could've been tied into the story of M2 without making it lose any of its original impact. in fact if they did it right it'd probably help send the message further across to the player showing how both women and men face the consequences.

i'm just so upset that mafia 2 is as short as it is because there are so many things that could've been expanded on, so many things.

like personally i'm not even angry that the guys get more screen time than the ladies. it's the fact that NONE of the women in this game get developed in any way and they have barely any scenes and/or dialogue, at all, with each other and with the guys. like in empire bay.. women just exist. they just exist. istg there are more women in the character's backstories than in the actual game itself.

mafia 2 is just a tragedy. the men are barely explored. the women are barely explored. the world is barely explored. the relationships between the characters are barely explored. the everything is barely explored.
