You know, my favorite thing in the world is Gillion getting the library, because it's the first thing that's his.

Finn's research and the studies at the school in the Undersea was always Gillion's thing. The Chosen One stuff was thrust on him, same as how almost everything else that Gillion has is given to him from someone or something else.

But Gil was a scholar as a child. Gil was intelligent, inquisitive, and loved to learn and study about the world around him. Gil kept that information about the Elusive Crawfish, and that was his own personal project to study.

So the library is so impactful because that's Gillion's want. The library represents Gillion's freedom to express himself and learn in whatever way he can, and he finally has the ability to do so without judgement or bias. He's free to explore that side of himself, and I think that's beautiful.
