I actually haven’t seen his version of Hamlet ever... worth the watch? I’ve read/seen Hamlet but it’s not my favorite Shakespeare in general, that’s why I haven’t made a huge effort to seek it out, even for DT lol.
Well, I agree with @faggghaggg about Hamlet not being a favorite character. There’s just something about him/the play that doesn’t quite let one get a firm grasp on it. I’ve seen some other versions, and this definitely had its highs and lows. The actress who played Ophelia was very forgettable, sad to say, and just distracted with her acting choices more than anything else. But Sir Patrick Stewart--taking on double duty as Claudius and The Ghost--really brings the chops and the proper gravitas to the play, so it’s worth it for that. And also for this, which, again...David...WHY...
