from this ask game
🎶 Do you listen to music while you write? What song have you been playing on loop lately?
Yes omg definitely. Recently I've been listening to a lot of Florence + The Machine (rn I'm listening to Girl With One Eye) but I've also been listening to Taylor Swift, as usual, some Ethel Cain, a bit of Adele.
❌ What's a trope you will never write?
Ugh a lot lmfao. I'm really not one for reader inserts/OC inserts, I don't really like a lot of monsters/aliens/etc. kinda stuff ik that's not a trope per se but yeahhhh ummmmmmm idk. I hate miscommunication tropes, I hate cheating tropes, I hate third-act breakups. So yeah nothing like that I suppose.
🎯 Have any of your readers accurately guessed major plot points? Care to share which?
Ooh yes actually I mean idk if this is a major plot point but this comment:
Honestly I wouldn't put it past brock to intentionally shrink buckys clothes to fuck with him
Was 100% right lmfao I haven't confirmed it in the fic but yeah Brock literally went out and bought smaller versions of Bucky's clothes and replaced them, as well as shrinking some in the wash, just to mess with Bucky's head. Pretty sick.
💔 Is there a fic of yours that broke your heart?
Tbh IAAFYF lmaoooo that fic is so close to my heart and rereading it just kills me because of how much my mindset has changed and grown since I first started writing it in November of 2022.

Okay, let's talk about Speak Now (Taylor's Version) Part 2
From a non-Swiftie's perspective.
I was 13/14 when this album came out. I'm probably going to skip through the songs from the original line up pretty quickly because they've been out for so long. I'd also like to remind you all that I pay attention to the music of a song first before the actual lyrics and that does affect which songs I do or don't like not matter the artist.
So, let's just get into the songs track by track.
Mine: I've always liked this song. It's very fun and catchy and bridge gets me in my feels.
Sparks Fly: I remember a kid in my class trying to tell me that this song was about sex and tried to explain why, and that really bugged me as a kid. That memory is very vivid in my mind when I listen to this song and it's annoying because I like the song and I'd like to just enjoy it.
Back to December: Don't come for me, but I think this song is kind of boring. That's not to say I don't appreciate and respect the subject of the song. I know it's about Taylor Lautner. I like the chorus. But overall, I don't particularly like this song.
Speak Now: As much as I like Speak Now and would imagine myself playing this song as the man I'm in love with is about to marry the most horrible person in the world, it feels... weird. I can't explain why. I like it, but it has a weird energy.
Dear John: I do apologize again, but this one is also boring to me. And again, I appreciate and respect the subject, but musically, I don't like it. And if I can't get past the music, I can't get to the lyrics.
Mean: I've always loved "Mean". This was the song I pointed to when I heard people saying Taylor Swift wasn't country anymore. And they were right, but I wasn't going to admit that. Haven't you heard "Mean"? It's still pretty country! Completely forgetting the whole rest of the album.
The Story of Us: Always one of my favorites. Again, I love the break up songs the most.
Never Grow Up: I don't think I appreciated this song as much as a child as I do as an adult. It's still not one of my favorites, but I understand it better now.
Enchanted: Don't talk to me about Enchanted. I love this song. I'm ridiculous about this song.
Better than Revenge: I *truly* love the break up songs, my friends. "Better than Revenge" was my favorite off the original line up and I understand the people who say Speak Now is, arguably, Taylor's Pop Punk album. I think Taylor shined the best with Folklore, but I would eat a true pop punk Taylor Swift album whole. I really would. Make it sound like "Better than Revenge" and I'll become insufferable about it.
Innocent: This is another one similar to "Never Grow Up." I didn't like it, I still don't particularly enjoy it, but I appreciate it better now as an adult than I did as a kid. I think the big reason for that was that I was fully 13/14 years old and Taylor was about 20/21 ish when the album came out. We were not in the same places in life, but now we are, more or less.
Haunted: Again, insufferable. I love "Haunted". I, coincidentally, went through the shortest Loki phase in history when this album came out and I always attached this song to Loki. I think that's very funny now what with Taylor having dated Tom Hiddleston.
Last Kiss: Again not a favorite, except I haven't come to a place where I can appreciate it in a way I appreciate "Never Grow Up" or "Innocent". "Last Kiss" just isn't for me.
Long Live: Another of my favorites. It fills me with nostalgia for a time that never happened, and I love songs that do that.
Ours: On the Taylor's Version album this song has been throwing me for a loop because the album I had when I was little ended with "Long Live" and I started to feel like I was losing it. The Deluxe album had "Ours" and "Superman". On the subject of "Ours," I like it. I thinks it's very fun.
Superman: She definitely wrote this song as a teenager, I'm sorry. I didn't realize this song isn't new and was on the Deluxe Album until now, and I'm happy I hadn't heard it until now. Taylor's voice is great, but I don't think I like this song. It's not silly in a fun way, it's just silly.
Electric Touch (Feat. Fall Out Boy): This was the song I was most excited for, and I have to say, I'm pretty disappointed. I've only listened to the vault songs two or three times so far so I might change my mind. I did like it better on my third listen than my first, but I was really hoping for more of a "Better than Revenge" vibe or their performance of "Phoenix" from the VS Fashion Show in whatever year that happened.
When Emma Falls In Love: I like this one. Again, only listened to it about 3 times, but so far I'm enjoying it. I think it's a very sweet song.
I Can See You: What is this song??? And I mean that with love. I love this song. It sounds like it should have been on "Red" or that maybe she was already working on some songs for "Red"? All I know is, the guitar notes right before the chorus in "I Can See You" sound *very* similar to the beginning notes of the song "Red." I thought they were the same, but I compared and I've decided they found very similar, and I don't think that's a coincidence.
Castles Crumbling (Feat: Hayley Williams): I loved this song when I first listened to it, but again like with "Electric Touch," I was hoping for more. How are you going to get THEE Hayley Williams on your track and NOT have her SING, you know what I mean? That doesn't change the fact that I do like this song a lot, however.
Foolish One: I like this one, but I think I have to listen to it a little more before making a full decision. "Foolish one, stop checking your mailbox for confessions of love" is such a good line though.
Timeless: Taylor has an obsession with the 1940's and it makes me feel a little weird. Didn't think anything of it when she mentioned 1945 in "Starlight" but now she mentioned 1944 and I just want to know what it is about the 1940s that seems so romantic to her? I like the song, don't get me wrong, but I just have that one question.
Anyway, that's my review for Speak Now (Taylor's Version). Please be nice to me, I'm not a Swiftie. If you feel like I need any extra context for any of these songs, don't hesitate to let me know!

Hi Cossette! My favourite Maisie songs are I'm Trying (Not Friends) and Cate's Brother, but I also highly enjoy both singles that she released for The Good Witch (both accompanying music videos are also very enjoyable) :D I've started following Maisie's music releases circa You Signed Up For This and it's been a joy to see her artistic growth over the past 2 years 💖
For The Good Witch, I'm most looking forward to the title track, but The Band and I and Coming of Age are also amongst the songs that I'm very eager to hear! I love good storytellings and I'm excited to see what she comes up with to weave the stories altogether!
I also love your connection between The Band and I and Taylor Swift's Long Live: When I first heard Long Live years ago I love how wholesome it is!! It also shows how far Taylor came (music career-wise) since her debut and the importance of fan support over the years 💖 Hopefully we'll get to hear the Taylor's Version of the song one day!
To name a few other music albums that I've been enjoying lately:
The Record by boygenius
Good Riddance by Gracie Abrams
Drop Cherries by Billie Marten
Young Heart by Birdy
Everything I Know About Love by Laufey
Phosphorescent by Gabrielle Aplin
P.S. 2023 has been a great year in terms of music releases so far (a lot of artists that I enjoy are releasing new music), so I'm very excited about it! In addition to The Good Witch, what are a few upcoming music releases that you are looking forward to? And what are a few recent albums that you've been enjoying lately?
that’s so special! one of my friends that i met through broadway twitter has been a huge maisie stan since YSUFT if not earlier and that’s how i found out about her music! i can’t wait to see what she does next!!  and i agree — i’m most drawn to good storytelling & good lyrics, and i feel like maisie does such a good job with that! i’ve loved reading her little teasers for each song! it’s just so special.
i think long live (taylor’s version) would be the song that destroys me most on speak now (taylor’s version) — either that, or never grow up! i’m honestly so shocked that long live didn’t make it on the eras tour setlist, and i know that when she performs it on tour i’ll be sobbing (most likely on the livestream)!
i’m actually listening to good riddance right now (as i respond to this message)! it’s one of my favorites of 2023 so far, and i hope it gets pressed on vinyl soon! i also really loved the record by boygenius & everything i know about love by laufey, but haven’t really listened to the others — i’ll do so soon! i own both the record & everything i know about love on vinyl, but rarely listen to them on vinyl for some reason even though everything i know about love sounds so good on vinyl!
i’ve been listening to a lot of holly humberstone’s “can you afford to lose me?” which is a compilation of her first two EPs! she’s rumored to have her debut album come out this year — i feel like since you like maisie & taylor, you’re likely to enjoy her music!  i’ve also been listening to cate canning’s newest single “get better” lately — i hope she releases another album/ep/something soon. the japanese house’s in the end it always does comes out at the end of june, and i’m so excited for it! i actually just preordered my vinyl yesterday. i have no idea what these singers are up to, but i’d love to see more music from: benjamin francis leftwich, no rome, isabel pless, and del water gap! i feel like there’s another album i’m really eagerly anticipating, but i can’t think of anything right now!
albums i’ve had on repeat lately are: phoebe bridgers’ punisher, cuts and bruises by inhaler, emails i can’t send fwd: by sabrina carpenter, and of course, taylor swift’s entire discorgraphy and the 1975’s entire discography! and not an album, but i’ve been looping beabadoobee & clairo’s version of glue song since it came out!

Top ten current Taylor songs?! (I have about 150, but you’re better at narrowing things down!) Top five slexie scenes? Top five japril scenes? Have fun, amazing mutual!
I've been listening to Taylor's music on a loop. Not that that's atypical in any way, of course, but these are the songs that have had me in their grip lately. (Quite a few are from Midnights because I've been listening to that album a lot.)
Midnight Rain
I Forgot That You Existed
Bigger Than The Whole Sky
invisible string
All Too Well (10 min version) - honestly, I should probably be buried with this track lmao
Karma
Getaway Car
marjorie
champagne problems
You Belong With Me - I've been feeling nostalgic lately and this song is tied to people/memories of my past
Favorite Slexie Scenes:
-When Lexie shows up at Mark's apartment and says, "Teach me."
-When she breaks his...you know. 😂 It's so hilarious.
-I will never be over him saying this. Like, idk how she didn't just faint dead away.
Tumblr media
-The plane crash scene even though it's absolutely gut-punching
Tumblr media
-THIS FREAKING MOMENT
Tumblr media
Favorite Japril Scenes:
-When Jackson objected during April's wedding
-When April tells Jackson she loves him after the bus explosion
-When he's like "Stop acting like I don't have any feelings okay? I have feelings. I have a lot of them." "About what?" "You. About you, April. For you."
-Their real talk during the blackout in s17 (I stopped watching the show religiously after s14 but I came back for this Japril-centered one)
-When she's hurt in that car accident and he prays for her to recover *cries*

Hi! How's it going? ok, I really hope you don't find this too weird, but that thing you said about Taylor Swift x Lily Allen the other day really resonated with me, and finally made me understand why I never loved lily's songs as much as I thought I should. It also got me thinking about some other things, and long story short I had a major breakthrough in therapy today because of it, so thank you! anyway, have a great week!
Oh wow! Anon, I'm so happy for you!! ❤️. Wishing you all the best 😊. It's wild to see the impact that music (and a small post on a tumblr about a random observation) can have. Sending you all the hugs and positivity in the world.
For the record, I'm absolutely not trying to convert everyone, but I thought that since I've been talking about her a lot, I'd make a list of my favourite Lily Allen songs. She's been a huge inspo in my life so for those who do connect (which, again, is absolutely not an obligation, if you prefer Taylor, that's great!), here are a few faves. Lily is a very political artist, so I'm splitting them up into two piles, feel free to pick and choose :). i've bolded my absolute top 5.
personal songs (romantic or otherwise):
friday night - my best friend says this is my theme song. i deny it.
littlest things - this is, like, the love song i listened to on repeat when i was a dramatic, heartbroken teenager
alfie - if you ever fancied/were curious about alfie allen in GOT, you should listen to this.
who'd have known - part two of songs i listened to on loop when i was a dramatic heartbroken teenager
chinese - this is actually about her mum but it covers as a love song. you can interpret it however you want but it's gorgeous.
silver spoon - this is the biggest fuck you to haters i've ever listened to. it's hilarious.
higher - this is the breakdown-of-her-marriage song, which also deals with her addiction issues, but from the point of view of her husband. this is one of those songs that i've listened to on loop while writing castles. it haunts me.
apples - another song about the breakdown of her marriage, and how it relates to her parents' relationship. this song also haunts me. i get chills every time i listen to it.
come on then - the chorus in this is worth everything. if you go on record saying that you know me, then why am i so lonely cause nobody ever fucking phones me?
pushing up the daisies - this is such a lovely love song. i've written fluff to this. it's hilarious and cute at the same time.
political songs (or other issues):
knock 'em out - about street/pub harassment and men who don't take no for an answer
everyone's at it - i stole a line from this in castles. it's about double-standards in the handling of drug addiction
the fear - this song came out in '09, and deals with the pressure of media/the internet. it's incredible (and sad) how relevant it still is to today's world. when i saw lily live in dublin, she played this song while a girl in one of the concert hall balconies spent the whole time staring at her phone. lily saw it. everyone saw it and started whispering at the irony. the girl never looked up from her phone and/or notice anyone looking. i think about this moment often.
22 - this is one of the saddest songs i've ever listened to. it's about loneliness and societal expectations.
him - this is about people who use 'god' as a justification for hate. it's one of the most beautiful songs i've ever listened to.
url badman - i always feel a bit bad recommending songs from sheezus because lily has publicly said she hates this album and had very severe mental health and addiction issues when touring it, but i really like this song. it's about internet trolls. it's lily's version of my post on arseholes on the internet.
trigger bang - this is about addiction. it's one of those songs i just cannot stop thinking about.
kabul shit - this is a political anthem against the war in iraq and afghanistan. we should have recycled and saved our resources, while they steal someone else's - someone call the armed forces. this has been a huge castles inspo as well.
fuck you - about right-wing people who hate on everything and everyone. lily and olivia rodrigo sang this at glastonbury this year.
LDN - lily's version of adele's hometown glory. a song about london

🎶?
Hello lovely!! Thank you for this.
🎶 Do you listen to music while you write? What song have you been playing on loop lately?
Basically always. But that's usually because I write like 90% songfics and when I write them I listen to the song on repeat. So because of that, I shall not reveal what songs I've got planned. 😈
But I will say that just on a personal level I've been listening to WANGBT and Mr Perfectly Fine (both taylor's version ofc).
Thanks so much again!!

hi, em, im here to bother you again!
✨ give you and your writing a compliment. go on now. you know you deserve it. 😉
🎶 do you listen to music while you write? what song have you been playing on loop lately?
😬 which of your fics would you be most horrified for friends, family, or coworkers to stumble upon?
that's all, enjoy your day/night. take care of yourself, lovely! <3
you could never be a bother!! <3 thank you so much for sending these in :D
✨ - here lately i'm actually pretty satisfied with what i write! i feel like i do a pretty good job at describing emotions and scenes, and i'm really proud of how far i've come when it comes to writing!!
🎶 - sometimes i have a specific song in mind, like when i was writing 'Up To the Gods' i was listening to running up that hill like 24/7. (i'm not kidding when i say i listened to three versions of that song lol. the original, stranger things orchestral version, and the trailer version for vol. 2). other than that, if i don't have a specific song in mind then i listen to a lot of taylor swift!
😬 - i'm gonna be a big baby and say all of them LMAO. my family watches stranger things with me, and while they know and support my obsession with steve, it would be SO mortifying for them to read anything i wrote. i would never live any of it down lol.
send an ask here!

Gonna answer this one with some of the songs I'Gonna answer this one with some of the songs I've been obsessed with recently-
First one HAS to be Stick Season by Noah Kahan, the WAY I have been listening to this song over and over again ever since i discovered it it's SO!!!! also ended up buying the album hehehe (the Olivia Rodrigo cover is great also 🥺)
youtube
Next I have to go with The ballad of Lucy Gray Baird - OBSESSED WITH IT it’s too short 😩😩 (anyone who has seen… any of my recent posts is aware that I’m currently deep in the tbosas hole, so I’ve been listening to the songs from the movie constantly, but I think this one has to be my fave 🥺🥺)
youtube
All 5 1989 TV vault tracks have been playing ON LOOP since 1989 Taylor's version came out, but for the sake of this list I’ll go with Suburban Legends BC ITS AN UNDERRATED BOP 😌
youtube
Next up, Cedar by Gracie Abrams! - I love pretty much anything Gracie puts out, and I only found this one relatively recently, I just love it so much 🥺🥺
youtube
I've also been listening a lot to Scars by Hazey eyes! - Now how did I discover this song?;;;; …because I’m so deep in the Snowbaird hole and I saw a fic inspired by the music video (Tom Blyth stars in it) and then I proceeded to rewatch said video an obsessive amount of time BUT LISTEN ITS ACTUALLY A GOOD SONG and I do genuinely enjoy it lollll

i bring more music recs, once again.
reverse by jhariah but specifically the piano version because i think it sounds better. i dont really care about the original but the piano ver just has a much darker tone that i think makes it come together so much better.
ice cream by the wombats. ive been listening to this shit nonstop. i was listening to the album and this one just really stood out to me.
evermore by taylor swift. one of my friends is a huge swiftie and last month or so she showed me a lot of her songs and this one has been living in my head rent free, it sounds REALLY pretty.
It took me so long to answer this but it's partly bc I kept listening to the songs and then forgot to type up my thoughts and then getting caught up in other stuff and forgetting I had listened to them until I went back to my search history. Anyway, so I actually listened to both the og version and the piano version of reverse, and I like both of them for diff reasons. I agree that the piano version has a crunchy darker feel but the combo of the instrumentals + the vocals in the og is also rlly stimmy to listen to. Also both the song cover images are rlly cool, the red + black + white combo looks like it needs to be in some kind of aesthetic moodboard
Ice cream is so vibey, I could listen to it looped. I've put it in my playlist. Also the style of the artist sounds like smth I might want to look into more eventually. Also again BANGER album cover
U're right abt evermore being pretty, altho I wouldn't go out of my way to listen to it again. I liked the piano instrumental bit in the middle a lot tho, where it gets faster and more intensely emotional. It had a simple melody but it was effective

Hi Mariana! Happy (belated) October :D My favourite YSUFT song is I'm Trying (Not Friends) but it's very difficult to choose bc this is one of the few no-skip albums to me!! If I'm going to choose a favourite lyrics, I'd got for the opening verse of You Signed Up For This title track — I think it did a very good job at making introducing me to Maisie as an artist & a storyteller in the album!
Speaking of single choices, I personally have no qualms with the YSUFT singles (I think they all served their purpose well) but I definitely agree with you with regards to the singles from The Good Witch. This is probably an unpopular opinion, but I'd love to see Cate's Brother as part of the tracklist (and released as one of the official singles) - I think it would link very well with Watch (sonically) & The Band And I (thematically)!
While I think Run isn't a bad song, given the context of the album and its production it would server better if it's relegated as a bonus track. What about you? If The Good Witch has a deluxe version, how would you modify its tracklist?
P.S. And in addition to Maisie Peters as well as Taylor's upcoming 1989 (Taylor's Version), which other music releases have you been enjoying lately?
Helloooo Jen!!! Thank youuuuu 🩷 🩷 🩷 I hope you also have the greatest of Octobers!!! 🫂💖
THAT SONG IS THE SONG OF ALL TIME! It's so fun, but it's so sad and then you're just crying dancing to it and scream singing your heart out. And I hate how much I relate to it. Hehehe
Honestly, yes, Maisie on top of everything else has such a talent for opening songs. Just perfect!!
Oooh, that's such an interesting take! I don't really feel comfortable with it there, but I see what you mean with the similar references to those songs and how it sounds a little similar to watch!!!! It's the rock goddess taking over. :p
I really love the song, but I do agree that if I had to cut one off that would be the one. Or just change it a little bit! I think it's mainly just the production.
Well, apart from run, I don't think I would change anything, but I'd love to add girls house. I think it's fun and it would go so well in there. And I think I'd add some of those bad witch songs she mentioned she cut. I think it's part of choosing to be "good" or more mature is understanding the bad about things and being a little absurd sometimes, to help with the anger, and move on.
Don't tell anyone, but I've just been stuck in a loop listening to reputation mostly. 🤭 and guts!!!! SO GOOD!!! What about you?

🛠️ and 🎶 for your writer asks pls 💜💜
🛠What tools/programs/apps do you use to write?
Oof, bestie. I use a combination of things just depending on what's most accessible to me at that time and/or how I'm feeling. My main program is Scrivener which is an incredible software, I don't have to tell you that. However, it's really only available on my computer and I prefer to use it for more continuous, multi scene/multi chapter stories. I also like to use it more for original writing rather than fanfic writing. I also use Pages which is Apple's version of Word, I can access it on both my phone and computer and iPad so if I feel like writing on the train or in the bath or at the doctor's office while I wait, I have that option. Also notebooks. I organize a lot just freehanding and recently have been trying this writing trick to write all my dialogue out on paper for the entire scene and kind of pre-decide how things are going to go so that when I start actually writing it all, it comes together fairly quick. Unfortunately, that doesn't work if it's more of an exposition or vibes kind of scene but... so it goes.
🎶 Do you listen to music while you write? What song have you been playing on loop lately?
That really depends. I think we've discussed my auditory processing disorder before and how that really impacts how I interact with media, especially with music. I am always playing Taylor Swift, I find that the familiarity of her voice and writing style and her extensive catalogue of many songs that fit many things can help lull me into feeling more secure about things that I'm writing. If that makes sense? Obviously, so many of my titles are lyrics taken from her songs and usually those songs are the ones that have been on loop either actually or in my head as I've written and I know it's not always one hundred percent connected to the piece I've written so sometimes the title doesn't make sense to the writing but, for me, it does because of the vibe I feel like I was able to match alongside the music. Also lots of 90s country girl music (Shania, Faith, The Chicks, Winona, LeAnn).

soft asks ❤️#1 (except imma change the rules and say which Taylor Swift songs and which non-Taylor Swift songs bc ily)
also #5 and #12
HI FRIEND I hope you're having a lovely week so far *hugs* also i lol-ed when i saw you change the rules HAHAHA it's like you knew i was just gonna give a list of taylor swift songs... but ALRIGHT here we go!!!
#1 - what song makes you feel better?
taylor swift
when it rains, the entire folklore/evermore album makes me feel... not necessarily better, but it's so comforting in a strange, melancholic way if that makes sense LMAO. I JUST LIKE THE FOLKMORE SISTERS!!! i especially love this is me trying and august and 'tis the damn season...... so whimsical in a taylor-esque way... also this performance was IT...
when i'm on the way to work and thinking about the stupid patriarchy while watching morons mansplain on the train and obnoxiously announce their private affairs and sleazy business i 100% have to listen to the 1989/reputation album and the man. (happy IWD everyone!!!)
when i'm upset i'll listen to red and the way i loved you and death by a thousand cuts, and when i'm in the mood for a pick me up i'll listen to the fearless and lover albums and the taylor swift album for the * immaculate country vibes * AND!!! SPEAK NOW because that album deserves to go down in history as one of the best ever self-written albums of all time!!!!!
OF COURSE NEVER FORGET ALL TOO WELL (10 min) (i just vomited out her entire repertoire didn't i. yes. yes i did.)
non-taylor swift
OH OH I LOOOVE the soundtracks from final fantasy i've been listening to it so much lately... there's this piece from final fantasy 7 called cloud smiles that is just... so moving and enlivening. makes me feel like everything's gonna be okay (even when the news seems to suggest otherwise) :'') aerith's theme still brings me to tears every time... also in my freshman year i would listen to the opening tracks of naruto & fma while walking up the hill to college just to get myself pumped for another day of (to quote bully maguire) putting dirt in people's eyes!!! YEAH!!! (never forget that one time i paced around the hallways listening to melissa while waiting for my turn to moot. and i got an A! works like a charm every time! the power of fma!)
#5 - who do you feel most you around?
my lover (and myself, tbh), and my group of close friends who i've decided i must keep closer than family or my enemies because they know too much about me at this point LOL. i feel like i show different versions of myself in different situations / to different people if that makes sense? i've been told i do that a lot in group settings (actually subconsciously) to liven up the mood and make people feel comfortable so it's always nice to just be able to lie down and strip myself of all pretences and listen to august on loop like a mad woman :')
#12 - how are you?
i am good, i think!! tired and worn out and feeling like a threadbare rug but i'm gearing myself up and doing my best to stay hopeful while helping out and showing love in whatever small way i can :)

Songs I've been listening on loop//sep favs-
People watching - Conan Gray
Lookalike - Conan Gray
Generation Why - Conan Gray
Conan is loveeeeee. His voice is just so calming and he makes me feel pain through his songs which only some people can do. Plus the line "but honey you're not fooling anyone" hits home.
People watching is all time favourite, relatable and jam!
Hate myself - Dodie
Cool Girl - Dodie
Special Girl - Dodie
Rainbow - Dodie
These songs have been on loop since they were released, she does magiiiiic. Her slow gentle voice is so fucking soothing. Damn.
*Rainbow is me* I mean I relate to it on different levels man. Plus Dodie is basically my big sister so
Taylor Swift's each and every album
