NEW D-PLAYER DISCOVERY**: The backgrounds, characters, and dance data were reused in a game called Zillernet, a Korean-only karaoke title for the original Xbox. This was probably with some form of permission, as the iDance stages were modified to have Zillernet branding in the background (though the devs could have easily edited the textures themselves, I feel it's probably official, as a later usage of these assets - found in some standalone karaoke machines - retain these ingame advertisements.)

This may mean that the karaoke machines I found a little while ago that lifted these graphics wholesale may be official, as well - if they were made by the same company that made this game, maybe they just bought the models and backgrounds outright after iDance shuttered?

The first featured guest from another group on The Sing-Off was a founding member of high school group Vocal Rush. This arrangement and the way Sarah sings it gives me a sense of a young woman struggling to allow herself to express intense feelings in a society that tells her she shouldn't. Her balance between vulnerability and control is beautifully supported by the men around her.

The Babysitter

3 minute Film Synopsis:

It starts with the child attempting to create an iDance video (like a tiktok.) The video is ruined as the babysitter is vaping and ruins the shot with the smoke. She convinces the babysitter to join her iDance video, in return, she won’t tell her parents about her vaping.

Later on, the babysitter mixes a strange concoction for the child to drink as she requested, and the child states how the video already has lots of views. She gives the child a drink and the phone rings on the counter, it’s the mother.

Mother: Hey (babysitter’s name) are in? a neighbour said our lights are on.

Babysitter: Yeah, I’m with (the child’s name)

Mother: No, (child’s name) is with us right now

A shadow emerges of the child transforming into a monster.

Either:

The shot ends in black with the babysitter screaming

The shot ends with the phone dropped on the phone with the mother calling out for the babysitter, and the babysitter screaming.

Ends with the phone with the iDance video with the child and babysitter

Clues:

The TV is on the news channel warning people about intruders in the neighbourhood.

Or

Tv is on the documentary channel about chameleons.
