Watching Jan Sport at 4am, at her first virtual live drag show was so lovely. Hearing her talk and chat with us was so amazing, a literal angel!

I’m so glad I was able to get the ticket for the first show (there are still tickets for 3rd and 4th) and tip this sweetheart! Half of her tips from all 4 shows from Digital drag fest are going to her local clubs and bars, to support staff and local queens. 💜

Do you ever feel like you’re so fed up with all the content you’ve been served, that you don’t care about 99% of it, or that nothing does it for you? We’re all so hooked on consuming. I’ve been catching myself in constant need to consume content and information, that now I feel like I’m in some kind of limbo where nothing is holding my attention, and I have the need to fast forward and process the information quicker.  I can’t cook or do the dishes without podcasts or youtube videos playing in the background. I can’t eat without watching something on my laptop. I can’t work without music. I even sometimes work with a tv show or a movie playing in the background. I can’t sleep without checking Twitter, Instagram, Tumblr and ao3 at least three times. And half of it is maybe famous FOMO, but the rest is constant need to overwhelm my brain with information and content and to have something buzzing all the time.  And it’s such an awful habit to have, because nothing is holding my attention anymore, and I’m indifferent to the most of the news related info, both local and foreign, because the opportunity that we’ve been blessed with to have the knowledge and news at every second just one click away took half of our emotional responses to it. I’m numb to the majority of news because I know all the news and how it can be so much worse than the current thing that is happening here or wherever.  I just want it to stop, and to somehow cut all this content that’s being thrown at me non stop, and to be excluded from 95% of the narratives.
