More and more I'm starting to think distance and work schedules may have been a problem for Gigi and Glen.

This! When it comes to this, the only way it could work is when someone is choosing to stay with their partner and follow them anywhere they go. For example, Miles and Keleigh. Despite the fact she posts here and there, I really don’t know what she does for a living but it seems like her schedule fits in order to be available to follow Miles as much as she can. On the other side, Gigi is really into what she does so it doesn’t seem like she will drop everything she has been working on and follow Glen to every set. I had no idea Glen would have such schedule this year until I read that post so it is indeed busy. I wouldn’t be surprised if they do break up because of it.

All I know about Keleigh is that she was in a Taylor Swift music video wearing a GORGEOUS wedding dress 😂

Yeah, demanding and conflicting work schedules can definitely cause stress snd conflict in a relationship. It could very well be a factor in whatever is going on

what do you think the vault tracks are about?

slut! makes me think it'll be a hard-hitting, sad bop, about her reputation as a slut and how deeply it hurt, how badly she wanted to break free of it, what it means to be a slut, why society deems it bad to be one, and so on. i think there will be a surprising "so what if i am? what's wrong with being a slut?" line. and if shake it off was her trying to "shake off" the slut allegations, slut! will be her darker, private musings on how she can't/won't/shouldn't.

say don't go makes me think sad bop about how she wanted to be chosen before she walked away. she didn't want to be someone's fantasy they let go of (wildest dreams) or someone's second thought (ayhtdws.) she didn't want an apology that came too late (hygtg.) she wanted them to make the choice to keep her before she left at all. i think it might have parallels to hygtg more than anything.

now that we don't talk makes me think it could be about the end of a bad relationship (for some reason, i'm thinking friendship)... and the way she sees her life is better without that person. kind of a ibytam-meets-clean-meets-iftye sort of thing: a song that uses sass to cover up this hurtful relationship she is now moved on from.

suburban legends feels like it'll be a song that defies expectations, as her punny titles often do. so while i want to say it would be a fictionalized love story about a relationship that, against all odds, made it out... i think it might be more of a cynical myth. urban legend implies folklore, mythology, long-lasting stories. suburban legend maybe indicates something smaller, less legendary = a relationship that didn't make it and the world didn't stop for. something expansive and rich ala red, holy ground.

is it over now? might be sad but i think it'll be another expectation-defier and be a bonafide bop! part of 1989's theme of self-discovery, i think it could be a song where she asks herself, am i now ready to grow into the next version of myself? and what if i don't know what that means? think that scene on the beach in the ootw mv, where she comes out of the jungle and touches her own shoulder--and how she said she didn't know what direction she'd take after 1989... what now?

I thought about that. In the IBYTAM mv the cake has that 13/26 on the top layer and there is the 1989 birds on it. It has 5 layers. Then the video has kinda an Alice in Wonderland theme to it. Like I think this video had a lot of 1989 tv clues.

I am not a fan of Karlie’s. I would be the first person to jump on the band wagon of Taylor with someone else. But it is not reality.

Submission: Honestly SR I applaud your bravery and your honesty. You'd be surprised to know the amount of people who feel exactly the same, but are too afraid to admit it publicly. I also stopped being a fan of Karlie's a couple of years ago. The pandemic and the way she and her family behaved during these horrific times completely changed the way I view her. She became a totaly different person. I can't recognize post-2019 Karlie. She doesn't feel like the person Taylor wrote Rep and Lover for.  I could start listing all the incidents that made it unbearable for me to even look at her, and I tried (pun intended), but it honestly made me feel sick so I gave up. That being said, the Roe v Wade march photo-op with the Kushner will forever be engraved in my memory. This was when I realized there's no end to Karlie's subservience to the Kushner family. She would do anything for them. And she does. She proved it once again yesterday.

The only reason I still support Kaylor is because Taylor is so hopelessly in love with her, and despite all her faults, I truly believe Taylor is a uniquely good and special human being. As long as Taylor chooses her, I'll stand by Taylor choice. Despite wishing it was another.

PS: I'll never buy into Taylor being 100% in on all the Kushner-related decisions Karlie has made and will continue to make. Sure she probably goes along with most of them. After all and despite what she likes to claim, she doesn't keep her side of the street clean, so there's not much room for push back. But there's no way in hell Taylor, who is on her way to becoming a billionaire this year, has no issues and is completely fine with JK being front and centre in her partner's life and playing the baby daddy to her own kids. Lest we forget the IBYTAM mv. That's all Karlie and Taylor simply... goes along.

Besides, Taylor shows remorse - she even wrote a song about it - for the way she treats us. Karlie never does. She only does damage control. By posting eye pics... and open pretzel bags? Spare me.
