aglaya transgender. Discuss

oh she absolutely is. natürlich. i think her being trans is as important to her characterization as it is for daniil. she despises the role put upon her by the powers that be (society), which is very transgender, as is her attempts to circumnavigate what she feels is predetermined. she feels trapped by her role until she meets someone whose outlook is, "well fuck all that" (artemy) [nonbinary] and then she begins to branch out from the shackles of fate (gender). also her having at least one other name she goes by canonically is such a trans experience, trying to determine which name you like most and having several names you use depending on the situation. i like to imagine she has a name she ultimately prefers because of its lack of connection to her family. which is also a trans experience (difficult familial relationships).

They smile, but it's a little on the self depreciating side. You could get the impression this is something they've been lectured on before.

"I-i just-- how do you... how can you know, y-you know? That someone is truly good-- that their cause is worth following? In the time it takes to figure it out, I-i mean-- people could die."

Overtaken by their thoughts, they take a moment to reign themselves back in. The set of their shoulders eases just slightly once they're done chewing on their answer.

"I'm loyal to my friends, but, I'll help anyone. I-i have to."

“Just… a small one. I think. It’s fine,” Diamond said. Slowly; making a concerted effort to speak more clearly.

Which didn’t change the fact that the answer was still ‘yes.’ Diamond sighed and rested his elbows on the table, forehead cupped in one hand as he massaged his temples.

“Not the first this week, though. Might have t’adjust my meds,” he admitted in a mutter. Though he knew what he should do was get another doctor or mage to take a proper look at him. Sometimes he did just stop responding as well to any given antiepileptic, but given the timing… the vampires may well have done lasting damage.

Zamasu was at the park in Conton City, perhaps Zamasu wanted to catch some fresh air? Maybe he felt a bit… lonely?

Anato, Eyre, and Khai were seen sitting at a table, drinking tea with delicious looking treats. As they are talking with their attendants on their side, Rubis, Beadle, and Solune.

They all seem to have a good time and a close bond.

Khai was the first one to notice Zamasu… There was a very uncomfortable eye contact. Khai would quickly turn his head away from him, pretending that he didn't notice Zamasu.

His ears lowered slightly as he frowned.... debating on whether he should even try to approach them... Judging by the look Khai gave, he had a feeling it wouldn't be well recieved... but still...

The shinjin found himself walking over unconsciously- that need for companionship... a friend... it overwhelmed the young ex apprentice's common sense.

' They're going to chase you off or leave- they don't want to be near you- you know this! Why are you setting yourself up for rejection?!' His thoughts screamed. 'After the stunt with your future counterpart- they all know how you truly act and feel!!' Despite the thoughts... he still attempted.

' ' Er... hello....it's been a while....' '

He cursed mentally as his voice cracked from anxiety- his ears staying low to show he meant no harm.

A gift mailed to Diamond with Archer's return address. Inside he will find a small collection of dark chocolates, tea bags, and a copy of Charlotte's Web. Inside the cover it there's the inscription, "To Diamond. After all we've suffered together, some heart felt wonder is much needed. I think deep down we both resonate with Charlotte. With love, Archer."

A few weeks later, Archer receives a return package. Within is a soft alpaca scarf, clean white and pale gray in color and appearing to be hand-knit; a tin of tea; and a copy of The Last Unicorn. Inside the book's cover is inscribed, "To Archer. Perhaps you may find comfort here as I do; a reminder that even when one thinks ones' time or chance has passed, there almost certainly remains something worth doing, and some wonder in the world yet to be found. With love, Diamond."

There is also a small note tucked within the books pages. It reads, "I was touched by your gift. Thank you. My days have been brighter, started warmed by the tea and ended with chocolate and some time spent reading, than they have for a while."

/ Nira'sae is very well practiced in playing the sacrificial hero. They'll carry every burden asked of them if it means someone else doesn't have to. They'll use their body as a shield (a remarkably bad habit for a caster/bard), shoulder the emotional pain of others, and suffer endlessly, if they have to.

And they do believe they have to.
