So there was a french animated film about the friendship between Icarus and the Minotaur last year and I was supposed to hear about it on the bird app?

I mean it’s literally not streaming anywhere yet nor does it have a home media release at this time but I would like to get hyped in hopes of one of those things happening eventually.

It has a good style! I would like to see the tragedy!

Icare est ambitieux et rêve d’évasion  Du labyrinthe odieux édifié par son père,   Piégé tout comme lui - ô monstre sans repères.  Icare envie les dieux, pairs de sublimation. 

Le désir de l’envol est une solution :  Stratégie de survie qui tient à une paire  D’ailes collées de cire et plumes trop légères Assorties de conseils sur la modération. 

Icare est audacieux et s’élève exalté  Vers le soleil radieux quand la réalité  S’efface pour atteindre une illusion sublime. 

Icare est près des cieux mais la chute assurée  Et perd sa vanité au mieux démesurée. Le désir est frivole et Icare en l’abime.

Why in the everloving hell is no one is talking about this lovely movie? I get it, it was actually released last year, but how come I haven't heard of it either??

This absolutely stunning and emotional retelling of the myth? 🥺 With beautiful animation and the two most lovable sweethearts I've ever seen??

It's a small French film, so good luck streaming it, but if you ever catch it screening in your local theater, I'm begging you to watch it. You won't regret it, save for a waterfall of tears 😭
