I think that Bobby was at his best in the nineties when writers weren’t afraid to actually use him as a serious character and not just as the funny guy.
This issue has been especially grating for me during the Krakoan era where Bobby has barely felt like the version of the character that I was able to connect to.

Check my Patreon out if you’d like to support the comic, even a little bit helps. Or just to check out the reward tiers, there’s some neat bonus stuff and I tried to make them fun: https://www.patreon.com/waitingforthet

Reading some 90s X-Men and Bobby and Rogue’s interactions in this issues makes me wish that the writers could have had them date for a bit.

Round Two - Cryomancy (ice) 7/8
Propaganda under the cut (beware of potential spoilers!!)
Iceman:
No propaganda :(
Gray:
One of the coolest representations of ice powers imo. Maker Magic allows its user to create anything out of one material and Gray’s is ice. It’s a magic that takes a surprising amount of creativity. He even freezes his own blood at one point. Additionally, he’s trained to be very used to the cold which is handy for his random stripping. He’s one of my favorite Fairy Tail characters and he at least deserves to win one round.
