Hello all! Here are the levels 1-5 previews of the possible 12th class which will be featured in the Codex of Infinite Possibilities!
Will you vote for the Ichorbound? A mage who sacrifices their life blood to fuel their magic, and can harvest and manipulate the blood of others?
Will you vote for the Forgemaster? A master of arms and armory who can forge their gear on the go and imbue weapons and armor with their own personal touch?
Will you vote for the Spectre? An ethereal entity who has returned from the edge of death as a ghostly apparition and must now learn to wield their new power?
Will you vote for the Behemoth? A hulking brute who stands large over all others, shaking the ground with their very footsteps?

❝ Since when did you become the Oracle of Delphi?❞ Wanda chuckled softly as though it were a joke Circe had told her. Wanda then grew serious sitting upright in her chair leaning forward towards the other woman eager to hear what she had to say. Her hand flipped backward with the palm upward as a gesture of her wanting to know what clarity Circe had.

MOST OFTEN, PERSEPHONE kept out of the business of other gods. Firstly, because she had enough of her own work to keep track of, that she simply didn't have the time to nitpick over the details of anyone else-- her husband, at times, notwithstanding. Perhaps even more importantly, the gods had never been the types to do her any favors, and so why should she offer them anything more than an ear to listen and perhaps a drink strong enough to make them forget for a few hours.
Most often, of course, didn't mean that she never allowed herself to be swept up into the latest bit of trouble that came her way. And she had heard about this little bit of trouble, had played a sympathetic ear to the father and heard the way he spun it. Never sat quite right with her, but it certainly was outside of her domain.
"Best behave yourself, now--" but the scolding isn't spoken with an ounce of seriousness, the tone not befitting of a QUEEN, but something softer, warmer, "Never seen someone more in need of a drink and some good company. Not gonna do you any good if I have t' kick you out, hm?"

Very few mortals were able to venture, living, into the Underworld.  Those that did tended to have HELP from others.  He occasionally turned a blind eye to those whose destinies stretched out beyond his realm, for did not all mortals one day find themselves within his power?  Hades was nothing if not patient.
......well.  When it came to SOME things, anyway.
But when a mortal DID manage to come and go, unscathed, the Lord of the Underworld wanted to know more about who had HELPED them.  After all, immortals were often beyond his reach, and it made sense to know who was familiar with the secrets of Hades.
Which is why he found himself on the island of Aeaea, seeking out Helios' daughter Circe.  Hades had it on good authority that SHE was the one who had helped Odysseus find his way into the Underworld, so that he could continue his quest to return home once more.
And if she HADN'T helped him, well, he'd be on his way and leave her be.  As it stood now, he was mostly curious; there was no need for anything drastic.  Just a friendly visit between gods.

Her feet touched the sun-bathed sand and Makaria raised her eyes to the rocks and trees ahead. The island of aeaea lay before her, a ship to return her home behind, filled with the comrades of her father’s adventures save in the distance. She had come a long way from Athens to meet this so called dread goddess and now that she was here she could sense something, nymphs maybe, a presence in the air. “Hello?”, her voice travelled far on the swaying breeze and though the island looked deserted she was sure someone had already noticed her arrival, “I am here in search of help. I have heard stories”, she spoke carefully, eyes on her bare feet as she stepped forward, “Of a great witch that lives here. And I come seeking her aid. From one woman to the other”

“thank you, ma’am,” udyati says, “for your hospitality, your kindness and your wisdom.”
there are doors everywhere if you know where to look, and if you’re smart enough to know where those doors will lead you, you’ll never really be stuck. one of the doors udyati had slipped through, led her all the way from the otherworld to aeaea.
“i don’t think the asuras will find me here.”
