Jose, Fiona, and Hastur - Water-Stained Letters and a Potential Connection?

The water stains on the last letter in the Christmas event reminds me of Fiona's and Jose's 4th letters, both which are stained or drenched by water.

The parallels makes me wonder if it could mean something… the detail about a wet letter mentioned more than once is curious…

Both Jose and Fiona are also said to be "gifts" from a "friend" of the manor owner that he treasured to include in his experiment, and thus important compared to most other participants.

Both Jose and Fiona have games at Lakeside, which is associated with Hastur, who is in this event, during which he says "I shall be waiting for all of the at the very end". Maybe this could parallel or have a hint about the end of their games or the end of all the manor games.

Especially considering those in Fiona's games disappear, leaving only a puddle of water behind. Is it possible the same could've at least happened to Jose (if not potentially to some of the others in his game if they weren't already dealt with)?

Both Jose's and Fiona's games have some supernatural/unusual factors (Jose's game has at least Wu Chang, the unusual effects caused by the umbrella, and Jose being a "psychic medium" for Wu Chang. Fiona herself and Hastur at the very least count. Maybe Yidhra if she's actually involved in their game… Luchino could somewhat count considering his changes after the bite, as well as Eli in the 2nd game 6 after Fiona. Then there's how him and those in Fiona's game mysteriously vanish).

I'm not quite sure yet if this is important, but considering this has been mentioned more than once, I do wonder if our attention is being drawn to this on purpose somehow, and therefore if some connection exists we should know about…

Hmm… Jose and Fiona being “gifts” from a “friend” of the owner, who treasures using those 2, an event with Jose as a “star seeker”, and a letter waiting for the right time that mentions a “constellation” arriving... idk could it refer to Fiona and Jose but later on…?

Also, the mention about Victor's "conviction will lead you to the final answer, but not right now" and it "waiting for the right time to be opened"... could it relate to Victor going back into the fire for whatever "notes" he didnt want "falling into the wrong hands"?

Romantic Ghost Manor Au Fiona Headcanons

Pairings/Characters: Fiona Gilman - Priestess x Gender neutral reader

(Crying rn writers block is beating me up help i completely lost track of what i was doing at the end and it's so ooc help me-)

Fiona at the start accidently avoids you, while it's not on purpose after years of living in the manor as a ghost she's had to find ways to entertain herself and get through the days. She could be worshipping Yog-Sothoth, chatting with the other survivors or hunters in the manor she deems worth her time and effort, or doing something as simple as reading, but be accidentally avoiding you in the process.

Once you do finally meet her, she'll ask you on and on about the current day world and ask about what changed since she died. Because of the fact no one stays in the manor for long out of fear of the spirits, and the souls of everyone are stuck there, it's hard to get any form of information about anything.

Chances are that as long as you're not rude, closeminded, and a absolute fool Fiona will start to get a long with you and want to bond with you more. Possibly even wanting to share her religion with you as a sign of friendship. She won't force anything of course, she doesn't want to copy her mothers way of thinking at all.

The way to this womans heart is philosophy and literature. She could probably sit down for hours and talk about these topics to anyone who is willing to listen. If you're one of those people then as long as you let her rant, she'll start considering you a close friend really quickly. Maybe even more as you two spend more time together.

Fiona is touch neutral that sways more into more of being touch averse. As long as you respect her boundaries and only hug, hold her hand, or any sort of physical touch that isn't done in a panic or emergency, she'll remain touch neutral towards you. This neutrality stays if you get into a relationship with her, but she's more happy to hold your hand and have any sort of contact with you then before.

Once fiona realizes her feelings for you, she'll start to actively hang out around where you are all the time. if you're not busy she'll ask to go to the manors old library with you and see if theres any books both of you could pick up. Or maybe she'll try to teach you some old philosophy, she's open to whatever as long as it means she has a good time with you

Fiona confesses to you on one night when both of you were hanging out in the library. You two were having a relaxed reading session in the midst of the dark room, candles barely illuminating the walls of the old run down library. Fiona sat by your side next to a large table as you two took turns reading, Fiona chuckling slightly at every wrong grammar mistake that was said but reassuring you it's okay. By the time it was dinner and you should've already cooked, the both of you were still reading in the library. Reading book after book, either that or you guys choose one long hell of a book. Despite the time that passed, it felt like time remained still as you were trapped in a subspace of tranquility and fun with Fiona. Eventually, one of the books ended up being a romance book, in which not you or Fiona were expecting due to the books cover and beginning contents. Though, whenever you read the words of one of the pages, Fiona slightly mimicked the book. Gently grabbing your hand and gently rubbing it with her thumb as you read. Seemingly copying what one of the characters was doing. Even as the scene became more romantic and one of the characters leaned in for a kiss, Fiona seemingly mimicked it. Except she kissed you on the cheek instead of the lips, she felt as if it would be disgusting to kiss you on the lips without consent. Your brain snapped back to reality as you felt her lips gently place a kiss on your cheek as you looked over at her in slight shock. A slight smile was on her face as she asked "Do you mind if i do one on the lips?" For a few minutes, you stared at her in silence. Unaware of what to say or do next. After awhile, you took a deep breath and nodded, and a second later, Fionas lips were gently placed on yours. If the grips of death would dare separate you two, you guys would find your ways back to one another in the afterlife.
