OKAY SO I was just scrolling thru tumblr after the recent ep and I have a bad migraine rn so I'm not sure how much sense this makes BUT OKAY SO:

So far all the statements have been, in some way, about like self sacrifice and self harm and destroying yourself for art and for the beauty produced by your suffering......... the first ep not so much, but the artist and the garden and now the violin......and I was just thinking about all the old Q&As that I've been listening back to recently, and how repeatedly Alex and Johnny have talked about how bad it is to burn yourself out for projects and not to put every bit of your soul into your work cause eventually you will self destruct.........the whole art reflects life thing................

This has probably already been said before, but-

you know how in chap 5 of BATIM, Sammy spouts out weird, random bs about Henry? “Betrayed, abandoned! I trusted you, I gave you everything! And you left me to rot! Why, WHY?!”

With BATDR giving us more context on what the Cycle is (how it’s literally just a torture chamber for Henry but with extra steps) I think that Joey was probably projecting onto Sammy there. I can’t remember any interactions said in the tapes between Sammy and Henry, so what reason would Sammy have to be so attached to Henry specifically?

A while ago, I saw someone point this out: the "Beginning of the End" announcement said only that season 1 as a whole is ending in spring, not that both episodes were coming out then. This means that we could get the teaser (and actual ep!) for episode 7 sometime before spring!!

It's just speculation, but to me, all the merch coming back seems like a sign that GLITCH is gearing up for an announcement >:)

the disparity in kudos between a skk fic and a fic for literally any other bsd characters/ship :/

The potion seems to steal health from other entities, if you splash it on you and hit an enemy, whatever health you take from them gets transferred to you. This is all I found and I’m probably wayyyy off but !

In Barnaby and Howdy’s talking video a bell rings twice. Once at the beginning and once at the end. Probably the front bell to Howdy’s shop.

I want to know who walked in. Just because it’s a weird detail to add in the video and my mind jumps to that “every detail is important” idea.

Unless the bell is not to the front door of the shop, then I want to know which puppet walked in, probably listened in on the conversation, and then walked out silently. It’s just been taking up brain space since I first heard it.

Ok I was originally just gonna make a little joke like “ever think about how titans live a long ass time so King will outlive all his friends and family 😀” but like this really got me thinkin' now…

I actually might be remembering wrong but I THINK they live really long?? So like what if as King gets older The Collector is like, his only friend. This is assuming King actually helps The Collector to realize not everything’s a game and they’re hurting people, so he feels guilty and stops doing,,,All That. Or maybe something where they only care about King so they just don’t do that because he asked them to. BUT ANYWAYS yeah, I’m thinking about this. King gets older and outlives everyone he knew, and since Collector is like, god he doesn’t die like everyone else. So him and King get really close n shit, best friends.

ACTUALLY what would King even do when he gets older?? Like he has nowhere to go because he’s so fuckin' big, and nearly all his friends are gone. Collector is all he has left…

So maybe when King dies he decays and becomes an island thingy like the Isles and then Collector wants to keep his memory alive or something so then when people start living there he tells stories about King and his friends…OH MY GOD. I wanna talk about Deltarune now so I will, yaknow cooling off after my anger of souless advertisement games with the opposite of that.

So, like two nights ago I was talking to my pal my bestest friend who will be the only one to see this post most likely about the Deltarune snowgrave or "Weird" route. In this conversation I had a shocking realization that the snowgrave route is simular to IRL glitching and game mechanics and that the weird routes are, EXTREMELY not meant to happen both in game and out parralleling IRL glitching as well. Allow me to explain.

First it was the fact that in Snowgrave a lot of important cutscenes and things just. Didn't happen. I know this is explained in the plot directly but it does also parrallel with actual game glitches irl and how they mess with the flow the game itself, causing some important cutscenes and whole parts of the game to mess up/not happen at all. This isn't the only time snowgrave parrallels gaming tactics, as my friend pointed out how it also includes "grinding up" a new character on your team.

This also fits in theme with the character Noelle, since shes the one your grinding and she cannonically has a love for both scary glitches games (which is what snowgrave is) and using the grinding tactic on her own catz playthrough. Maybe these parrallels were chosen because of this?

In general with snowgrave, and all weird routes im expecting, theres a theme of not meant to be happening with how things get skipped and messed up and not to MEANTION Ralseis behavior towards it. I'd go as far say the general theme of "Not intended to happen" extends out of the game as well, of course in an unreality and immersive way rather then the game being fuckin haunted or something, based on the one time weird routes gets slightly acknowlaged and the many MANY times it doesn't.

This is, what i believe to be, the only time snowgrave is SLIGHTLY acknowlaged irl.

So this has been my horrible rambling about how the Weird routes and how they are very very "NOT intended to happen". Once again I am NOT claiming that the snowgrave routes arent actually meant to happen irl, its just like that in a cool unreality and immersive way to make the experience wayyy more spooky and cool. So in summary, snowgrave parrallels cool game glitches, Toby is pranking us. Feel free to correct me or add on anything I'd love to hear all of your thoughts :).

One thing I think about a lot but have no idea what it means is that ralsei doesn't have a theme. There's the themes for castle town and "legend", but no actual character theme like other characters have. Noelle has "lost girl" and "girl next door", Susie has "Susie" , even Kris sorta has a theme (the music that plays when you seal a dark fountain) but ralsei has none of that. Idk what is means but it's interesting to me.
