I know that there are pple who always insist to take everything at face value. Anon, you honestly cannot expect normal behaviours from situations that are not normal at all. You are talking about Jk not showing up at Jimin’s stage and him refusing to go see Jimin perform even after Jimin asked. So let me ask you and many others who maybe didn’t notice this or find anything weird about it. So we’ve seen a pattern of all the members at some point showing up to support each other by surpring each other maybe during their practice, shooting or perfomance. Somehow there is always the element of suprise and that is exactly what V did with Jk too. So now, did no one find it weird that Jk had to ask or kinda tell Jimin that he wanted to go see him perform on stage? Why did he have to ask for Jimin’s permission b4 going to support him? Hobi didn’t, Suga didn’t, V didn’t none of the members asked for permission b4 to go support the others so why did Jk feel the need to ask Jimin if he could go see him perform? This was a lil weird to me at the time but I didn’t think much of it until after the flirty Live those two did few days ago. Jimin said he was going to go to Jk AFTER his promotions were over and it kinda seemed like JM was making all sorts of excuses not to go to Jk or not to let Jk go to him. I could be rambling idk but it got me thinking about 2 instances in the past. JM was trynna cook and Jk tried coming close but JM sent him away saying Jk made him nervous. Even when JM was recording Serendipity, he asked Jk to leave too cuz he couldn’t concentrate with Jk there. Are you picking up what i am putting down? What if Jk didn’t go see Jimin perform and had to ask Jimin if he could go see him perform cuz he knew that Jimin wouldn’t be want him there probably cuz him being there would make Jimin nervous or distract him somehow? Cuz I can’t think of any logical reason why Jk had to ask Jimin if he could go see him perform when he could have just surprised him like the rest. Also, think about it, Jk is just not an asshole who didn’t care to go support Jimin. Whether u think they are dating or not, Jk is not an asshole and he clearly loves Jimin and Jimin is clearly important to him. So how do u explain him not going to see Jimin perform? Same goes for Jimin. Everyone knows Jimin is one if the most supportive members of BTS. He shows up for EVERYONE! Didn’t anyone find it strange that he didn’t go watch Jk perform too? I have no doubt that he would have showed up if it was anyone else, so why didn’t he show up for Jk? There are patterns being broken here and only when it comes to Jikook. I can’t place my finger on it, but certain things they do just don’t make alot of sense.

What is my point? My point is, I don’t think Jk not going to see JM perform was his choice! And I believe so because he didn’t have to ask for Jimin’s permission b4 going to support him. If he felt the need to ask, that tells me he kinda already knew that for some reason, Jimin might not want him there, and it was also weird that he choose to ask Live where maybe he felt like Jimin wouldn’t be able to say no! We all know damn well that so many jikookers would have stopped shipping Jikook since chapter 2 if we only had to depend on Jimin! Jk has been the only one holding this fort down! Jimin really doesn’t do anything to feed Jikookers. Also, we see how much Jk debunks Taekook all the damn time but he hasn’t in anyway tried to debunk Jikook, if anything he if feeding us fat! So that’s how i kinda know that Jimin is the one probably stopping many things from happening now. I don’t know his reasons but I honestly feel Jk is kinda done with this hiding shit. Anyways i just wanted to share my 2 cents. I haven’t ever seen anybody mentioning this so i just thought i’d see what u guys think about it.

ok so i might have mentioned this but i had a small crush on him a few years ago? i think since like 2022. back then i shipped with cypher and was super fixated on him but i think sova was always in the back of my brain as a crush, although at the time i only had him as a platonic. also cuz one of my good friends who doesnt anymore used to ship with him so i didnt wanna overstep or anything.

anyways im not even sure how i suddenly decided to latch onto him, i think my fixation on yone at the time was starting to fade and my brain just randomly chose to fixate on him even tho he was still a crush at the back of my brain lol. and look where we are now/lh

as for what i like abt him, i think one of the biggest things i like is how polite he is/kind to others. i think thats like a rlly important trait in someone for me if i were like to date someone else and hes just rlly nice in general and very lovely, hes such a big sweetheart :)

also ok im gonna sound crazy here but my friends keep saying im a circle bcuz he rlly fits one of my types which is like the holy trinity of yone vergil and wyll. who are all like, responsible, serious, yet like kind and deeply caring. and sova definitely fits into that archetype haha even though hes not exactly the same?? most of those guys arent exactly the same but theres a huge overlap of similarity with them.

i do also think he is very pretty even tho he is unfortunately white/lh :') (or at least i smacked this guy with the asian beam. get wasian'd) idk i suck at explaining exactly why i like this guy, again i think a big part of it is how kind he is to others!! its again just smth i rlly value in a partner, he genuinely cares about others/esp people hes close to like his grandma. and is very thoughtful. also i like that hes super down to earth and humble like this guy is incredibly talented yet never brags about it at all hes just very modest. smug people drive me nuts so im glad hes not like that lol. he also is very passionate abt his interests like archery and also he does photography! i like to think he also does things like hiking, birdwatching and maybe some gardening in his spare time. idk its a shame we dont get too too much info about val characters although the lore is always constantly growing. i do think he does like lots of outdoorsy hobbies hes very respectful to and attuned with nature i think.

sorry this is getting so long omg. im trying to think of any last things to throw in... i think another thing i rlly love abt him is how calm he is. it kinda balances me out bcuz i tend to be a really hotheaded person but it takes a LOT for him to get bothered by something, or at least lose his temper. in the lore we've never really seen him lose his temper or anything like that? the closest it's gotten is that one image when they were releasing fade where it was like a flashback to him losing his eye and he looked super animalistic. actually i think that in general for him to get that mad or whatever it would probably have to involve one of his loved ones being in danger. which is nice bcuz it shows that he rlly cares.

What you just explained is why I am always baffled when I see people shipping her with je in this day and age. From what we've seen she wants certain things in a relationship and he fell short or doesn't care to meet those expectations. Why don't they want my girl Z to be fulfilled in her relationship? Idk why some ppl are confused with Zendaya's love for him. He's nice-looking, he's successful, he has a nice body lol, he treats her right, he's like her BEST friend, he's charismatic, he's charming, he's not a bum, he works hard, he's a good person, and he isn't afraid of her success or letting her shine. 🤷🏾‍♀️

I would choose Tom ANY day of the week over JE based on what I've heard about him as a bf, and just what I've observed about how he treats ppl too. 🥴

He may have grown up and changed now days, so I won't hold smthg against somebody indefinitely, but to me, there's really nothing about JE that would make me choose him over Tom in a lineup lol.

JE doesn't even really seem like a kind person to me, which is smthg that I value first and foremost in a man... and just in people in general.

But maybe I've misread him. 🤷🏾‍♀️

Smthg about him just makes me uneasy, and I think it's the vibe he gives off, and his body language at times. 👀

I tend to read ppl VERY well.... So, sometimes my gut speaks to me lol, and for some reason I've just never had "warm" feelings about him, and it doesn't even have to do with Zendaya tbh. 😔

Okay time for Bad Dad rankings according to me (MCU) (it's just the avengers, Gotg, and black widow film.)

1. Alexei. (Dad guy of Natasha and Yelena)

-I don't think I have to explain this but I will anyway.

-This guy concsiously made the decision to put his very very young adoptive-ish daughters in the red room. You know, the one who trains kid assasins and then like inevitably kills them if they fail, pit them against each other? Yeah.

-also fuck you alexei that's human trafficking.

2. 0d*n

-like come on who the fuck steals a child and then makes them hate their existence??

-Bitch ass lying ass bitch.

-He had 3 chances I don't know how he managed to fuck that up

-"oh but look at thor, he's always happy, and he's good." First of all, Thor is only good because earthlings taught him better shit than 0d*n. Second of all, he's always happy, and you don't find it concerning at all??

-thor turned out to be the depressed kid who wants to fight every mild inconvenience.

3. Ego

-okay now, him, U don't personally know. But if you're going to use your kid, you could at least not kill their mom yk?? That was a dick move

4. Thanos

-Now I know what you might be thinking, "why isn't he the top 1, he tried to murder half the universe blah blah blah," I Don't Care. Thanos by far showed the most care for his children.

-did he turn them into assasins? Yes. Did he pit them against each other in order to strengthen them? Also yes. But you have to admit, he cared about eacb and every stray child he got (disregarding of course the possibility that he mind whammied loki and tortured him)

-like he has different beliefs than everyone else that made him a bad father, but essentially it didn't make him like love them less. He just kinda loved the balance of the universe more.

-also there's something with the way he talks that's so...placating(?). Like when Ebony didn't show up, it wasn't like anger that he failed, it was mostly disappointment. Like the kind you get when you feel like you failed someone because they failed? Also whenever he speaks to anyone he sounds so peaceful idk.

5. That guy with the rings???

-like man why you blaming your child???

-also abuse???

-also hating your kids especially girly with the bangs???

6. Howard mf Stark.

-now here's the thing. I genuinely believe that Howard was neglectful but he was in no way abusive.

-I believe that Mr. Jarvis would most definitely not stand for the abuse of anyone in the Stark Manor. As does Peggy Carter.

-But He is neglectful. Just the company, SHIELD, shmaptain shamerica, everything, he completely forgets to prioritize his family.

-but I also believe that he greatly values the Stark name. Not in the sense that, "behave, do not sully my household name." But like, "this is my household name that I built from the ground up. Now that you have become part of it, there is nothing you can do to tarnish it. Be free, be gay, do crimes"

-like obviously not treason but like if Tony was ever like has disabilities or something about his Sexuality or gender identity, he'd do absolutely everything so that no one has anything bad to say about it.

-Not to say he will accept it (it's honestly this or that) but he won't allow anyone disrespecting a Stark.

-I just get the vibe that even if he was not a good father, he will make the Stark name impossibly unreachable, untouchable, no matter the circumstances. Like he'd be too focused on that to be homophobic or transphobic.

I reread Okita, Saito, and Kazama's route

My brief thoughts on each:

Saito- I loved his serious and honest personality. He did have a lot of awkward moment with Chizuru bc hes not used to these kind of thing but it was soooo evident that he was in LOVE with chizuru with sincerity. I loved when he swear his life to keep Chizuru safe on his own decision, not bc it was ordered by someone. Then there were other small moments where your heartwarms up by his small confessions towards Chizu ♡. I was also satisfied with his ending (I mean good one), bc it was happy ending.

Okita- Ok, I liked his route too in it's own way. Okita is so much more complex character (in a way, I guess the most complex) than Saito or others. In anime, I thought tht he is both humorous yet the scariest character, since he threatens he would kill anyone who gets in his way. It had a lot of endearing scenes and all, but my complaint was I felt like shifting his dependence from Kondou to Chizuru was kinda not well explained. Only feel I got was he started directly depending on Chizuru when Kondou was dead, bc he didnt have anyone left. Idk I guess this made more sense story wise, but I wish chizuru got more credit before the passing of Kondou. And plus, even in happy endings, I COULDNT STOP BAILING MY EYES OUT BC OKITA'S ILLNESS WONT ALLOW THEM TO BE TOGETHER LONG ENOUGH 💀💀. I hope they create a future story where his illness is miraculously healed (bcs come on, it's an OTOME ) and they continued to leave happily ever after. They are definitely in love hard though, both of them. I mean, I bet okita stays awake all night just to watch Chizuru sleep. His story was the most emotional route for me and I loved too.

Kazama- BY FAR HE IS MY TOP 1 BIAS FROM HAKUOKI. I know some ppl dont like him bc hes arrogant/full of himself etc. But he is really caring towards Yukimura (mostly bc she female oni). I also found it cute how he got jealous at times when Yukimura's attention is on something else LOL

He always came to her aid, when she was in danger (and honestly beats others without a sweat). Even though hes demanding, he respects her value and her opinion, and dont necessarily cross the line when it's not needed. Aside from him, I loved seeing Shiranui and Amagiri (?)'s interaction with Kazama. Even though they mock each other, it's clear tht they all hold a similar view and respect one another.

I loved his route the most bc 1) Yukimura is also an oni, and he probably is the best character to understand tht well than other character in the option. 2) He brought her out of war life, and gave her a family, a village and community. He's route is the only route where Yukimura isnt directly engaged in war. Instead, they observe from side and see what happens. Only fight scene was with her evil dad and cross-dressing bro.

She gets to interact more with Osen, Shiranui, and Amagiri (who are all oni)by being with Kazama. 3) He kept and will keep her safe. I mean let's face it, he can beat troops of soldier in a heartbeat 😂.

Although I enjoyed and liked other routes as well, my view on Kazama does not change.

re that chuck tingle post that’s been going around:

I got rid of my copy of hogwarts battle, but in the balance I don’t think that’s doing that much to enact my moral values in the world and I’m not sure it was the right thing to do. Not actively spending more money on Harry Potter stuff is doing a little bit more. But when I’m on the phone with my uncle and find out he doesn’t know what puberty blockers are and isn’t sure whether they’re like, dangerous or something, and I explain it to him as best I can, even though talking about trans stuff with my family is kinda uncomfortable (they’re not malicious but there’s stuff they don’t get) That I think is enacting my values in the world in a much more significant way. And for the most part I, personally, would rather not emphasize personal consumption choices as a way of expressing values in the world.

Anyways I think a lot of people are kinda seeing whatever discourse simplification they want to see into it. What I get is “your ethics are yours and it is your privilege and responsibility to sort out your own moral compass. Making piecemeal right/wrong calls will only take you so far. You have to look at the specifics of your actual life, with honesty, and get back in touch with your core values frequently. (Chuck Tingle is not subtle about “prove love” as being the central value in his life — it’s a good value, but it’s not going to be everyone’s one most central value and I think the take away should be less about “love” and more about “your core moral values, whatever they are.”) There are always going to be way more “it depends” than “absolutely this is a bright line issue.”

For instance with JKR (and I don’t know that that’s what inspired the post, it seems likely but idk) the primary harm is in her choices. She should not be making public transphobic statements and supporting other transphobes. That’s her. Canceling people tends to be more effective at defining social boundaries than in actually destroying careers, so the cost of avoiding HP stuff (which varies by person) has to be weighed against the good done by avoiding giving her money, and, far less importantly, avoiding the fandom. Generally there’s going to be a greater good you can do for comparable or less sacrifice. Imo. And canceling whoever you hate shouldn’t be a stopping point, where you go “I took my hogwarts house out of my profile, I took ableist slurs out of my vocabulary, I don’t use white sage in my witchcraft practice, I’ve done enough.” Because it’s just not that much! If everybody stopped saying the r-word tomorrow there would still be so much necessity work around disability benefits and education and care and pay and treating disabled people with dignity and getting cops to not shoot disabled people dead. If a time vortex opened up and JKR fell into it and retroactively never existed, there would still be so much necessary work around how trans people get treated by police and prisons and access to transition care and workplace discrimination and safety walking down the street and so on. You can get every witch in the world to stop talking about their spirit animal and us settler colonizers will still be living on stolen land.

these personal consumption and language choices are just so small next to realities of police violence and other-people violence and homelessness and pay gaps and sexual violence and the cost of insulin and climate change and imperialism and colonialism. They do so little. And part of that is there really isn’t that much individuals can do, and still live in the world. And figuring out how to understand that and live with that without it tearing you apart.

well. It’s understandable when people focus on what they can control. But it’s like the anorexia of the social justice movement. Just because you can control it when there’s so little else that you can, doesn’t mean you should.

So my FP and best friend recently talked to me how I focus too much on relationships that lead to like dating or similar. And how dating is actually overrated and expensive and time consuming. Which all makes sense. It does but.... Sometimes I can't help but think that because our relationship is a mix of mostly dynamic and friendship and has been for over four years that perhaps I've just been brainwashed to believe that the love I do receive isn't as good because of how society thinks.

Like if I was ever to explain my relationship with this particular person it would always just be as my best friend. Even though that holds a lot of value it doesn't always... Mean enough.

It's hard to explain. Like idk... It's probably just the fear of abandonment... Insecurity of any relationship suddenly disappearing on me etc. Even though I don't think at this point she ever would.

It's just hard to deal with always being physically alone isolated and thinking that all these words on my screen are just a delusion that someone else programed into the matrix to keep me from suicide. I just want to meet in person one time to prove it's not a trick... But I feel like it's never going to happen. Like I moved to this state just to have the chance to visit "easier" and yet after a year here still can't even get a city name.

Like I have other close friends and people that I care somewhat about but it's not nearly as intense as with my FP and if/when FP leaves my life and my cats die of old age... If I'm still just living paycheck to paycheck in life. I think I will just buy a rifle. Because currently these are the last three things that have kept me off the edge of attempting more OD, more deep cuts to the point of terrible infections etc. But I just don't see a future where I don't end up taking my own life alone in some remote place eventually.

I receive love and affection, I just think due to how neglected and abandoned that the disconnect from the internet and the physical world with these things weighs heavy. Like yes I can receive lots of thoughts of hugs or cuddles or affection etc but without some of it being in person it's like my brain can only go so far with it?

Maybe it's just the past tainting the online aspect. People saying one thing and doing the opposite in person. Time and time again. That it isn't enough for me anymore? But because that's all I have I deal with it since that's all I have and all I can ever seem to maintain long term.

I'm not saying LDR is bad, I'm just saying like everyone says it's hard. And I struggle to deal with the fact that "this is the best you've had and will ever get so deal with it"

I get like 1-4 hugs a year (mainly from my immediate family) irl... Its probably not too much to say that I'm touch starved.

And it just cycles back to childhood were it was nothing but neglect.

Random ask but I was just thinking about how weird it was that hotch didn't immediatly call Hailey and tell her and Jack to get out of the mall in that one episode were a bomb was going to go off? (2×10) he did eventually but it always struck me as odd that he needed Derek to tell him to do it... such a big part of him is how protective he is of everyone around him and I feel like that should be even stronger with Jack, but it collides with his sense of justice and faith in the system and rules, so he hesitates, even when it could mean Hailey and Jack die in that mall. It would make sense if his sense of duty combated with his protectivness, but in episodes later he expressly breaks protocol repeatedly to help members of the team. He goes so far as to say "I don't care about protocol" when Garcia is shot, but it happens with Emily in minimal loss, Rossi, reid, ect. He breaks protocol to protect them repeatedly, it seems so strange and inconsistent that he wouldn't do the same for his son, who he loves more than anything.

I'd like to say it was a one off thing but it happens again in amplification when he tells jj not to call will and Henry. Same situation. I know jj was annoying in that episode but it was the same dilemma were she's in a position to save her families life and hotch is firmly against her taking any action. Another time he tells Emily that "this is the job, and I need to know you can be objective" when she considers adopting a foster girl... idk it might be the writers fucking up his character [again] but he does some things that are very protective of Jack but in other ways is more protective of his team than his son. It just doesn't make sense with his values, he may place too much importance on the job sometimes but at the cost of his sons life? At the cost of haileys? Eventually he does break protocol in 100. He literally kills someone to protect Jack, which I like to think is him learning in some weird way, but I also think it might be a bit of a mischaracterization on what hotch shows his values really are. Thoughts?

hmmm i dont really think its mischaracterization as much as its his conflict with different values. he’s protective, sure, but he values JusticeTM more. which is why in lessons learned/amplification, he knows its wrong to reach out to warn his family because its not fair to others who share equal risk.

but i dont think thats necessarily contradictory to his resolve to catch garcia’s shooter in penelope. its focusing on one case, but its a different circumstance than only certain people who may be in danger, if that makes sense? i guess you could argue theyre sacrificing time they could be so ending solving some other crimes, but its not as explicitly unfair as giving one person a warning and leaving everyone else to chance. idk if im really explaining it right akdhskdh but i dont think you can judge both situations equally

over time, i think he starts to prioritize protecting people he cares about over protocol, and i think that has a lot to do with the way 100 played out. he knew he would be under scrutiny with the foyet case, and he needed to let someone else make as many of the decisions as possible, well aware of how strauss would try to twist this around and pin whatever happened on him. so hotch let derek make a lot of the calls that day. and i mean… hotch respects and trusts derek, which is why he went along with him even if he disagreed (like when to burst into foyets apartment). but ultimately derek was wrong and that precious time they wasted waiting mightve been enough to save haley if hotch didnt have to wait on someone else’s decision. hotch doesnt blame morgan, but i think he blames himself for hesitating when he knew he shouldnt have

after that, we see hotch take a lot more risks when trying to protect people he cares about when they’re in danger. faking emily’s death without telling any of his superiors, defying the director’s orders and continuing to dig into jj’s secret work, etc. he’s had this running conflict throughout the show between family and work… he’s lost his family family by now, so now he’ll do anything he can to keep his work family safe. his dedicated adherence to rules and regulation slips away as he realizes he doesnt want to live with regrets just because he was worried about following orders

but again, i think the lessons learned/amplification circumstance is different. im not sure if post100 hotch would make a different decision… bc its not just “putting my family above protocol” anymore, now its “putting my family above other people’s families” and thats a line im not sure he’s crossed yet.

akxhakhd anyway i dont really think its a mischaracterization of hotch’s values. i think its an adjustment of his values as he goes through these different tragedies and tries to figure out how far he’s willing to go to save the people he cares about. for the others, like derek and emily, its not really a question bc to them nothing matters more than protecting people they love (or protocol matters so little that its not even a concern, in emily’s case) but w hotch its a little more complicated

#i also think its an extreme oversimplification to point out decisions made under drastically different circumstances and call it inconsisten #cy #asks #idk lahdkshd i dont think i explained this well #but its hard bc there are so many different reasons that go into all the stuff you pointed out #theres more going on #its not just ‘does he care about his family or not’
