Wish they could have explored it more, it was honestly some of my favorite things they did with Todd’s character. I love how u can see why their relationship is so strained but also see how they’re family. The little moments where Todd thinks his step dad’s idea for sneaking into whale water was brilliant, where his step dad gets his “on a roll” joke, yeah…

Got the same ask two times but since i post mostly Castlevania shit i guess it was meant to happen <3 Anyway @beevean and @viralvava i think at least one of you KNOWS WHAT I'M GONNA SAY. YOU KNOW !!

Mathias is submissive and breedable and Dracula is a switch. <3 We don't get nearly enough of them bottoming nor submit in fanfictions or fanarts smh

But on a less horny note. I find AoS and DoS pretty boring. And it's it's not because of the gameplay (well, i didn't play DoS, tbf, only AoS and not completely), because i'm more of a "lore <3 story <3 characters <3 POTENTIAL !! <3" type of castlevania fan. I just don't click with it. I'm not a big fan of modern settings, ESPECIALLY if they're in a story/franchise or whatever that up until then was set in older times. It makes sense, of course (and the idea of Dracula being given the chance of a brand new life while at the same time becoming just a kid who doesn't know shit and just wanna be seen as his own person is pretty neat), but i just, don't vibe with it. Also. Arikado's design is boring. If I had to choose, I'd much prefer his GoS design <3

I don't know if caring more about what the games tell rather than the gameplay in itself is popular or not ? Because that's my approach on the franchise. I'm much more interested in the story and characters of LoI than I am in the fact there's not leveling up system, for example. Not that the gameplay isn't a thing to be criticized (i mean, it's a videogame, of course it should be taken into account), it's just that it's not the first thing i'm thinking about when someone says Castlevania.

Also i totally agree with beevean on their Belmont's revenge and HoD take here (i want a Belmont's revenge remake please, the drama/tragedy potential with Soleil ?? the parallel beetween Dracula kidnapping a Belmont son and them(Trevor) taking away HIS son ?? GUYS ???), and mostly about the AoS/DoS take. Though i learned to appreciate Julius because it's very funny to talk about how powerful he is and how he destroyed Dracula lmao (he's the only character i care about in those games ngl)

Oh and Rosaly and Sarah are best girls idc what anyone says.
