my piece for the @travelers-encore-zine !!!  I think this came out a bit more conceptual than I wanted but I still like it!

Idk if this counts (the hell am I talking about? I came up with this question smh 😞), but I weirdly like his backstory? I just really like the whole thing about him being insecure, and then overcoming that by becoming who he wanted to be and working on himself. That's a little more broad than I intended for this question, but that kind of thing that really fleshed him out to be more than just a side character is really what drew me toward him. Also my "inside" joke is that I love me an insecure man whose biggest secret is that he's insecure. I hadn't even realized that until long after I'd recruited him as my new main F/O to follow up Leo Valdez, who, spoiler alert, is the same way.

hi! i had the thing with a couple of my gifsets not showing up on my dash in the past, and i can only assume it has something to do with tumblr deciding that your gifs are porn (yk a naked shoulder or hand holding, victorian style porn), but it doesn't flag them so idk. what helped me is publishing gifs one by one to see which of them specifically tumblr doesn't allow to show on the dash and then cropping it a bit, just a few pixels from a side, and somehow that would convince tumblr that now it's a family friendly picture. this can be annoying depending on the complexity of your set, but i hope you'll get it to show up!!

Hi omg thanks for your help, I really was going crazy yesterday, it's so frustrating. I'll give it a try and see which gif might cause the problem. And then try the pixel thing, how weird that this works tho, tumblr really is broken huh. Also could it be a problem with the caption or the tags, some tags are just not working smh? It's just three 540x350px gifs so not really complicated and they're all under 10MB. I hope I get it to work somehow I really wanna post them! let’s say you are another second year or you knew him prior to him leaving for Africa.

you knew that being in a relationship with a special grade sorcerer like Yuta would mean he'd be busy and maybe even get hurt sometimes, but you certainly weren't expecting him to be studying overseas.

you both understood how hard it would be but you decided to try the long-distance thing anyway.

Yuta would leave you with some of his shirts and hoodies and you'd give him your favorite blanket.

i don't think he'd get you matching rings because i think it'd be like you were replacing rika, but instead, you guys might have matching bracelets with each other's initials <3

obviously, it'd be hard to call or text each other because of the time difference, but you guys would send each other audio messages every night telling each other how their day was and what happened.

yours would always be longer because you would have to include what inumaki, panda, and maki did as well.

speaking of HIS BEST FRIEND INUMAKI... Yuta definitely told him to "look out for you" while he was gone.

so now anytime a guy gets a little too close to you, they get this glare from inumaki

also when you guys go on missions he always makes it a point to keep you safe, not that he doesn't think you can handle yourself, he's just keeping his promise to Yuta :)

anytime you go out, you always send him a fit check even if he can't respond right away.

and you bet he's responding with something sweet like "pretty as always ily hope you had fun <3"

the other second years(and even gojo sometimes) send him videos of you training or practicing your cursed technique and he always saves them because he just thinks you look amazing when you're confident.

but... they also send him pictures when you fall asleep on panda or in one of their rooms with the caption "this yo girl?" and he just responds "yes smh"

Yuta doesn't send many pictures of himself because he just doesn't think to do that, even when he gets dressed up.

but he does send you pictures of the towns and sights he visits.

he gets Miguel(the guy who's training him in Africa) to record him training so he can send it to you guys which you then show to the first years whenever they ask about him.

one day you notice his hair is WAY longer than it was when he left and you text him "not that I don't like it, but when was the last time you got your hair cut?"

"oh yeah I just haven't had time to cut it but idk, i might keep it if you like it ;)"

so anyway.... he kept it....

you guys try to have at least one facetime a month which is usually an ungodly hour in the morning for you and a decently late time for him.

you guys do everything like talk and watch movies or shows with each other while you are covered in his hoodie and he is snuggled with your blanket.

honestly though, both of them need to be washed... like bad...

you tend to sleep in his hoodies and he with your blanket so they don't get washed often....

maki and inumaki have to sneak into your room while panda keeps you distracted so they can wash the hoodies

you're always getting packages in the mail of nice outfits you mentioned wanting or just little trinkets he knows would make you happy.

maki tells the first years he's your sugar daddy and you promptly correct her and tell them all about how wonderful he is and how much you love him and all that gushy stuff that Nobara and Itadori just eat up.

yes, you miss him every day and he misses you, but you two manage to make it work and can't wait to see each other in person again. (you guys have lots of cuddles to make up for)
