Just grab some veggies and shove it down my throat but I know if I go up there I’ll eat it but if I stay here I’ll eat some other junk food trying avoid the pizza but ahh true true I guess that makes it to where I’ll binge mph omg the war in my head why tf did she buy it TT like it’s Friday but stillll hum idk this sucks like I said before it’s a hard bad habit to break TT but nothing will change if I don’t start now so…I guess…I’ll just not eat it….not eat anything….maybe I’ll dance or something…I mean I’m already proud of myself for going back to my room and not just shoving the pizza down my throat like im getting so much better at self control I’m so happy and as I’m typing this paragraph my want for it is fading so I’m already feeling better omg I’m so prouuuud Agh okay I’m better I choose to not eat the pizza like I know what it taste like, I’ve had it before and after I lose another like 20-30 pounds I can have a slice of actually good pizza not the oily not very well made pizza thats in the kitchen. then again, he hates seeing you cry.

regardless, he's gonna find out. of course, that would take a while. tough guy vibes.

so one day the two of you were having a fun time together in the ice skating rink. "if you fall, it doesn't mean that you're terrible. this is just a fun day, you and me. okay?" reminder that he doesn't want you to not cry. falling would hurt but if anything else goes wrong, he's reassuring of his presence.

you agreed. it's not like anything could go wrong.

okay, well......

at first katsuki fell, and you were even more scared when you heard some boys your age laughing.

he blew half a fuse

"shut up or ill blow your faces off," he growled, looking at them.

silence from them.

this time, you weren't paying attention as one foot had to slip away.

it was a loud thud, landing right on your butt (i went through this, fun fact)

ohhh boy those dudes found another laugh

you just started tearing up, right there. and when you knew they were laughing at you, you covered your face, letting more of them out.

"aw, poor girl couldn't handle it," one of them said. you were really annoyed too.

bakugou immediately noticed that you weren't standing. so you should be sitting.

he skated his way through the crowd and finally found you, on the ice, crying your eyes out.

"hey, hey, babe. what's wrong? you hurt?"

"yeah..."

"anything else you need to tell me?"

silence.

he took off your hands and as he expected, it wasn't good news.

and then he heard the same troop.

laughing at his s/o.

he helped you up, and wiped your tears off with his gloves. (remember when i said he's the tough guy? yup.)

"alright. wait here. we'll go back soon."

just skates over and grabs those guys, threatening them so bad.

"before it ends up with me finding you in your sleep, you make sure it doesn't get worse than this."

you stared in awe. he was really your super hero, huh?

you two spend the rest of the day in his room, him taking care of any bruises, cuddling and him reminding you how great of a person you are. he can be soft, too.

once you finished, he was heartbroken. "and so you just cry?"

"yeah," you sniffled. "i don't know why. i really do wanna change, im trying! i understand if you-"

I did something similar with guys as I got older. Dated a few. Found out I’m not particularly fond of being romantically involved with men but I do like to be sexually interested every once in a while. But prefer the company of women so much more.

Also liking more masculine or feminine women does not under any circumstance dictate if you like dudes or not. A woman could be as “butch” as they come and you can be attracted to her and still not be interested in men. That entire crap about “well if you like such masculine looking women you must wanna sleep with a man” is such bullshit and excludes the entire spectrum of gender then bc people come in every shape, size and presentation. 

And it’s more than ok not to ever label yourself! And it’s ok if you label yourself and change your mind. Or you never find a label that suits you until maybe years down the line. Gender identity and sexuality can and will change. I’m not the same person I was at 16 or 18 or 22 even. With that how I view myself and what I value in a partner sexually and emotionally have changed a lot (except liking brown eyes and brown hair, that right there i def have a type) More than anything be safe and I know this pandemic is hard but it sincerely won’t last forever. It feels like it will but it will and then you can safely explore anything and everything!

me? smart? NO i am literally a dumbass, but when you mentioned listening exercises, i got war flashbacks bc in german i and ii we had to listen to these videos in german and fill in the blanks but whenever the blank would come up, they would start talking super fast -_-

but this year, i'm doing calculus, anatomy, ap literature, ap economics, and ap government & politics, and choir ❤ so in the british school system, do you pick a concentration? because i noticed that you didn't have a math or science?

ok and the british system is kinda weird so lemme explain:

we obviously have primary school and high school. in year 9 (age 13/14) we choose 9 or 10 subjects (this can vary school to school) to study for gcse. there’s the mandatory maths, english literature and english language and also science but you can choose between doing combined science or seperate science (more work + harder + takes up one of you other option blocks). you then get to choose some other subjects to study, my school has blocks we had to choose from but this again varies. i chose separate science, german, geography and art. in year 11 (age 15/16) we take our gcse exams. i didn’t have to do these because of corona but if i had, i would have had to do 23 exams (the length of these exams is normally 1hr 30 i would say, but art exams are two hours, three hours then five hours.)

we then go onto sixth form or college, these are basically the same, i just associate sixth form as the ones that are attached to a high school and colleges as independent campuses. here we do a levels, at a level you study three subjects and yeah. a levels are closer to uni courses than they are to gcses. we get free periods (like i start at 9 everyday but literally finish at 11:35 on thursday and only actually have one full day at college) and you can take a ton of subjects as well, like if i had chosen to go to my high school’s sixth form instead of college, i would have probably chosen criminology instead of law. oh and we study a levels for two years then it’s uni :)

also something like choir would probably be provided as an extra curricular, like we have debate club oh and we also get two extra study sessions a week for each subject that we can choose to go to or not.

mini rant on the new cats (and no, i’m not just gonna talk about the terrible cgi)

so cats the musical was a pretty big part of my childhood... i’m pretty sure i went through a period when i was rly young where i watched nothing else, & i’m pretty sure there are various parts that awakened some kinda *thing* in me like the rum tum tugger & those 2 female cats who sexily sing about macavity.... rly it’s a surprise there aren’t more furries exclusively because of the existence of this so i was actually kinda happy they were gonna make it into a film cos like... it’s a thing i love? why wouldn’t i want more of the thing i love...

i forgot to think of the logistics of a film version tho & srsly never expected it to look as................ um...........

as it does lol

but that aside, i’m stumped to think /why/ this even exists as something to adapt into a film?? like les mis makes sense; it’s already a story which was made into a musical, so the film is just... the story with the songs slapped on lol, and i love it ngl... same with other musical film adaptations like chicago, cabaret, phantom of the opera, like the list goes on... but the big difference between these and cats the musical, is the fact cats doesn’t really have a plot...

like yeh there’s a vague threat of macavity coming to take the old dude away? but mostly the musical is just the cats introducing themselves and singing bout cat things and prancing around lol... it’s a frivolous dance-based musical about nothing at all really... & that’s what makes it so good on stage, cos it’s all about spectacle and fun...

translating that to film makes no sense, especially when ur gonna put the cats into weird realistic film-settings, and cgi the cats into weird humanoid cat abominations (like the original music only has the cats looking like that cos.... it’s humans.... playing cats... like that’s not actually what cats look right u kno? does tom hopper know this??? he does know cats don’t look like the cats from cats the musical????? does he know cats exists??????/ someone please tell him cats ezxisti).... 

this adaptation feels as weird as it would be to have a ballet made into a film.... like imagine the nutcracker (only ballet i can think of yeS i’m uncULTUREd don’t @ me) except it’s in a ‘real’ setting, and some dialogue is thrown in, but mostly they still just dance around on their toes like in the ballet .. like that’s just weird right? that’s not something that should happen cos the ballet is something u go to a theatre to watch... ballet/dance films (like black swan or dirty dancing) are usually only /about/ dance, and have like... real people? not.... cgi cat people???

Prompt: I think it’s safe to say you’re Scott’s biggest fan

“Hey Scotty, your stalker is watching you play again.”

“Fuck off Bryce,” Scott groaned, shoving his ‘friend’ to the side. Looking in the direction that Bryce was pointing to see you standing to the side of the bleachers. 

Truth be told, you were never really one to watch or play sports, but since befriending and developing a crush on the endearing boy in your AP English class, you decided to give it a go. This was the third baseball game of his you had been to and you actually enjoyed it.

Scott smiled and sent a small wave your way, before jogging over to his coach that was barking orders like a madman at the team.

Looking at the crowd in the seats of the bleachers, you spotted a very lonely looking Alex Standall sitting by himself and decided to join him. 

“Hey Alex, can I-uh, join you?”

“Y/N, um yeah sit down if you want.”

Smiling at the now raven haired boy, you took the seat next to him on his left side. Realising that there were still a few more minutes before the game actually started.

“Dude, I’m totally digging the new hair, although the blonde was definitely a good look as well!”

“Oh, thanks.” Alex curtly replied, sending you a small smile.

You quickly realised that he didn’t want to talk so you focused your attention back on the field. All the players seemed to be in their positions which was a sign that the game was going to start. 

Cheering along with the crowd, you supported the team - well, mostly Scott- the whole game. Leaping from your seat whenever they would hit a home run, and cheering loudly when they got the other team out and won. 

By the end of the game, your throat was aching and your cheeks hurt from smiling so much but it was definitely worth it to support the boy you had been harboring a crush on. 

The team all huddled around the bleachers, receiving congratulations from their families and friends and you decided you were going to also congratulate Scott before you left. You thanked Alex for letting you sit with him and apologised for screaming in his ear the whole game, to which he brushed you off - giving you a pat on the arm before leaving himself.

Once you reached the bottom of the bleachers, you looked around until you caught sight of the dirty blonde haired boy you were searching for.

“Scott!”

Turning around, Scott smiled and made his way over to you.

“Hey, Y/N! It’s great to see you here!”

“Yeah, I decided to come show the school baseball team some support. Oh, you played amazingly by the way!”

“Thank yo-”

Scott stopped mid-sentence when Bryce wrapped his arm around his shoulders.

“Oi, Scotty-boy, party at Dempsey's to celebrate, you coming?”

“Uh, sure.” 

Shrugging Bryce’s arm off him, it was then the blonde douche noticed you.

“Oh hey, it’s our stalker! Wait, sorry, I mean Scott’s stalker.”

Rolling your eyes, you gave Bryce the fakest smile in the whole world before retorting.

“That’s cute Bryce, but if I’m supposedly a stalker, then what does that make the people that come to every single one of your games?”

“Wow, that was a cute try at a comeback princess.”

“Bryce, stop-” Scott scoffed, placing a hand on his teammate’s chest.

“Scott it’s fine,” you smirked taking a step towards Bryce, “you know, princess, if you want to know what sex position produces the ugliest children, all you’ve got to do is ask your mother.”

Letting out a scoff, Bryce told Scott about the party once more before leaving, you two alone.

“Take that for a comeback, dickhead,” you whispered, thinking that Scott wouldn’t hear you - he did.

“That was a pretty good comeback if I’m being honest.”

Smiling, you gave Scott a little punch in the shoulder, before telling him that you should be going.

“Wait! Do you maybe uh- do you maybe want to go get something to eat?”

“Don’t you have a party to get to?”

“I wasn’t going to go anyways,” he shrugged, “besides you must be exhausted from cheering my name all night.”

“Oh shut up, I wasn’t just cheering for you! I cheered for Zach as well!”

“You cheered for him like once!”

Deciding to let him win, you let out an exaggerated groan before beaming brightly up at the boy. 

“So what do you say? Can I take my number one fan out for a nice dinner?”

“Of course, but we’re going to Rosies, I heard they have some new fries and I really want to try them.”

“Rosies it is.” 

And that’s how it started. The story of the baseball player and his personal cheerleader.

You Lack Conviction

uhhhhh so just talking with my girl @imindhowwelayinjune and maybe one of the reasons Erik is fav is because, murders aside, he’s one of the few MCU characters with anything close to a conviction but it’s late so I’m just gonna post the chatlog, it’s a good chat log I promise. 

Lion: idkkkk Erik is one of the very few MCU villains who's actually had a completely legitimate point? Like, shitty dude and monstrous plan but his underlying motivations are sympathetic both politically and in the sense that he's acting from very real trauma Loki gets endless tolerance in and out of universe and he's killed WAY more people and also his motivations are p. much just 'daddy issues' whereas Erik's are 'black people are treated horrifically' and also 'daddy issues'

June: right! oh man, totally agreed loki had some rotten luck and parenting but like. loads of people experience that and don't do mass murder he did lack conviction, it was mostly pissiness erik's anger was sparked by grief and loss and mistreatment but was also intrinsically linked to a genuine sense of injustice on a massive scale that is entirely reasonable

Lion: right! yes, the conviction point is such a good one It is a key difference. And also something that really stands out in the MCU? where.....does anyone have a conviction? I remember Cap in winter soldier being all 'if they're shooting at you then they're the bad guys' idk that the films ever really try for ideals more complicated than that

Yanno Ive been thinking about teleiophilia in regards to my sexuality and whether I’m actually into men at all or if I’m just into the idea of them because of heteronormativity and my own daddy issues

Because the only hard gut wrenching CRUSHES I’ve ever had for teenagers have been for girls. I was in LOVE with a girl a few years back, and it crushed me. The closest I’ve come to that emotion was over my old old tc J. It was a crush? Maybe love? But I don’t know if it was for anything other than the two reasons I listed above

If I was actually into men, wouldn’t I have been into a guy I could ACTUALLY have a chance with by now???? And when I talk to men for real, I tend to lose interest or simply not feel any strong feelings towards them.

Now, the IDEA of a relationship with a man is really alluring to me. But in practice I’ve never actually enjoyed talking to a guy- so either I’ve never found the right one, OR I could be talking to the best one and still not be into it idkkkk

And the idea of the relationship is really only so appealing bc I crave attention and validation from men bc of daddy issues? Honestly the only reason I got so emo over J was probably bc I was a lonely girl and wanted someone to love me, yanno, the usual? Plus I was upset bc I knew he could never know about my emotions and I’d already had so many TCs and GOD I just wanted ONE romance to NOT be unrequited

So lots have happened between the dude and me, including having a sorta argument last week in which it was implied that he knew I liked him. The argument was mostly about how he doesn't communicate properly to friends, he just assumes that they'll understand w/o explanation if he doesn't show up to things and whatever. then two nights ago when we had a really late night talk again and he asked me if his intuition was right about me liking him and i told him that I did but i was over it LOL.+

So I just lied but we continued talking about several things and i mentioned using the empty room across from me to study in and we went inside the room. I saw my roommate at the end of the hallway before going in so i figured she saw us too and wouldn't come looking for me. And we were talking again for several minutes when she walks in and I just glare at her as she just moves into the convo. So the three of us talk together and eventually he asks her to leave which surprised both of us.+

I was actually really annoyed she walked in bc i asked her about it later on and she was like "idkkkk i saw you guys going in a room and i was like 'what are they're doing??'" i asked if we /were/ doing something why would you knowingly walk in on that. And she was just like "i wanted to???" And then apologized for not knowing social cues. So she leaves and i ask him what's up and that's when he asks about my crush and I lie. We continued talking but some important things stood out to me.+

I had pointed out a few things in his behavior that contrasted with his personality and weren't really obvious and he was surprised and literally said "not many people have pointed that out" He actually listened to the things i said about how you treat and respect new friends and relationships and I listened to his opinion of that. When we talked about difference of opinion i was saying that we think differently bc he thinks simply and I overthink.+

He made a point to deny this multiple times and claim instead we think similarly but our personalities are different which affects how we think. Like I'm high maintenance and he's low so even if we have similar ideas, we interpret them differently. I thought about this and agreed. The convo continued on until we talked about friends and how he wanted intellectual friends like his friends from high school. Friends that weren't just academically smart, but self aware and thoughtful.+

I understood what he was saying, but didn't get how he was having such a hard time meeting people like that when he talks to so many people. So I ask if he has met anyone like that. And he points to me. And I squealed a bit lmaoo and thanked him. I also asked if he was planning to have this talk with every girl he considered a friend and he knew liked him. He was confused about what girls until I persisted bc i knew he talks to a lot of girls.+

He was weird about explaining this part bc he said that his friendship with them isn't always deeper than that. He said that he doesn't like how some girls don't have any interest in getting to know him once they're over their crush on him. Basically the "friendzone isn't real" concept. He keeps it at surface level so there's no need to clarify anything, I think. What I got from all these pieces is that he planned this talk bc he wanted to clear things up.+

He sees a good friendship in me and clarified that we do think similarly and connect like that, so he likes our conversations as much as I do. We ended the conversation talking about sex and hookups. We joked about the empty room we were in being used as a sex room which i was afraid of bc it's right across from me. He said that he doesn't hold value to virginity so he's thinking about doing hookups and i was saying he's not the type to do so.+

There's no way he could get it with some girl at a party when he's weird about grinding. But he said that he'd use tinder instead lmao and i was like 'ohhhh fuck'. So i just "aight do it but not in this room." And this dude literally told me not to come in this room anymore. Bc he might use it for his hookups so i was shook. I also wore his watch for awhile when we were with our friends and it looked better on me than it did him and when i told him so as i was taking it off, he just gasped.+

Tbh if I'm right about how he sees our friendship, that makes me really happy bc I've got a potentially really good friend at the least and I know it's not one sided. And on a late night, I saw him and meant to only greet him but he immediately turned to the study room and I followed so we bantered for awhile. And I've gotten close with that other girl who likes him too and she knows everything and thinks I should pursue it but idk anything except that I really wanna hug him (and im thirsty af)

but it does seem like he’s pretty interested in getting to know you, and on the contrary i do kinda think the fact that you had a mini argument with him was good! not in that sense, obviously, but like bc you’re able to kinda point out his flaws even though you have a crush on him. it’s hard to see the flaws in the people we like sometimes.

i would suggest being that hookup for him lmao but it seems like things have already progressed past the casual hookup stage!!! im not sure how invested you are in him emotionally but i would say if ur looking for something serious, friendship is a rly important first step!!! i feel like a lot of guys just want to skip over this step and it kinda turns me off lmao

my love life is very confusing atm, hell, I don’t even know what’s going on bUT things just got even more confusing

When I started uni, I had this girl in my class who I thought was really pretty and fun so we talked a few times, laughed together and we’d often sit next to each other. She made it clear to me that she was gay and it was obv she was flirting with me.  Long story short: she made me question my sexuality, I told her six weeks after school started and she went, “... Oh my god, why didn’t you say so??? I was so into you?? But now I’m dating someone else sorry. We can still be friends though ofc.” 

It felt like a slap in the face, esp since her saaalltty af gf -like I’m not kiding- hated me and refused to talk to me, even though she was a 3rd year and our mentor on top of that soooo idkkkk.  So that chick and I didn’t really talk to each other anymore, cause there was not really anything to talk about tbh, but she was still in our group chat so we’d exchange words every now and then 

The only times we talked it was her bitching to me in front of everyone else?????? like ???? okay? 

And last time I saw her was March 2016 when we went to a theme park with a huge group and she was a passenger in my car. Now, I’d literally had my licence for two weeks back then, it was the 3rd time I was driving that car, she was constantly yelling at her best friend in the back and it was a two hour drive to a place I’d never been before so... I think you can imagine that I wasn’t the best driver in the world and I knew she was judging me cause she kept saying stuff like,

And afterwards she told every single person in our friend group that I was a sad excuse for a driver and “how the fuck did she even get her license. I’m never driving with her again bye”, even though my friends defended me with the same arguments I used, she didn’t care LOOOOL okay then

then I thought it was some kind of prank because she’s pretty childish but not that childish from what I know.

Halfway in my first year, this guy started crushing on me and he was kiiiindaa persistent and told everyone about it and made it very obvious that he wanted to be more than friends with me.  Now, I kindly rejected him. Three times. Cause he kept pushing and pushing until I was like, “Okay, if you don’t stop flirting with me, I’ll have to end our friendship.” to which he responded with, “Okay, okay, I’ll back off.”  Things were still a bit off every time we hung out after that caauuusee he touches me a lot, tries to initiate a lot of hugs (even though he knows I have trust issues with guys ahemmm), and gets inappropriate every now and then, but... he’s still a nice guy I guess.  

Today I saw him for the first time in a while and... Okay, he said that he didn’t do it on purpose, but hetouchedmyboob. 

and I was like, “... Dude, watch your hand?” “Oh haha, woops, didn’t meant to! I wanted to poke your arm!”  ALSDIFJKASF WHAT. MY ARM WASN’T ANYWHERE NEAR MY-  what
