I am a failed idol singer!
I've been labeled as a failed idol singer, a few years is nothing. You say time is money. I'll drag you down and take on a long dirty fight in court. I have all the time in the world. And you'll find out soon enough, I am very persistent.
I’m Jenna, or Kim Je-na, a music producer.

controversially, i don't think idols should be (stunt casted or otherwise) playing idols in dramas, especially about idol-life (as main cast, background characters are fine).
this isn't a dig at them personally but i do think it can sometimes hold a show back because as much as a lot of these projects are critical commentary on the system, there's always an air of lightness to them that i feel can contradict the work because these idols do have teams and do have images to uphold post-drama and they probably don't want their idols to come across too polarising, fictional or otherwise.
it's one of the reason i don't really consume anything exo has been in (other than the genre's not being my thing), to this day, other than kyungsoo the only media i've seen the majority of exo in, is exo: next door.
because i always feel like the script is aware that an idol is playing the role.
i get excited when i don't know the idols in these types of dramas because i go in with no pre-conceived notions (like the jihan issue in the coup, because i know hani is like a decade older than the kid playing him.)
don't get me wrong, i know why they do it. its cost effective when your cast can already sing and dance and to state the obvious, it gets an audience interested in the show.
i also would love these types of drama to have slightly higher budget, like the fabulous is a decent example.

Songs I Felt: Chill Volume
What song do you think of or get reminded of when I say chill vibes? There are lots of songs out there in the music universe. Infinite beats, melodies, and voices, but only conceptual described is when music becomes a mood. This volume of Songs I Felt, I will discuss the chill vibes. This is the K-pop version. There are seven I gathered all through personal preferences and not research or polls.…

aw shit, here we go again.
EPISODE 8 SPOILERS FOR IDOL THE COUP UNDER THE CUT
Ray. He’s... a weird choice for a villain? Like I get there’s gonna be some in fighting between members (most of which isn’t for the cameras), but him assisting Bbiyong and making Cotton Candy suffer isn’t great. Ofc, the real Bad guy here is Bbiyong because he WILL not get off Cotton Candy’s ass abt picking Troy over him. Like he 100% wants them to fail bc of that grudge.
But we also know that Ray was the last one seen w/ Bbiyong editing the track.
We see him catching Jihan and Jenna in the act of listening on their track and editing it to go beyond their “dreamy boy” concept.
He listened in on the plan Jenna and Jihan had for causing a scandal and drove CEO Cha up the walls cuz Ray hoped that if he crushed their plan, it would drive Jihan back to Mars where he supposedly “belongs”.
We don’t even technically fully understand what it is that has CEO Cha and Jihan at odds and the fact that Jenna gets closer to Jihan than Ray? Prob makes him jealous. Especially when Ray has openly pleaded with Jihan to Open up.
Ray shouldn’t have spilled the information abt CC abandoning the collab to Bbiyong. Does he know why that’s wrong? Probably not. He doesn’t know Bbiyong had been actively sabotaging CC this entire time. But Bbiyong has actively tried putting Mars in a box and I don’t think that’s okay.
I hope he wakes up and realizes that there is someone here to crush others and that he’s on the wrong side of the fight soon. It won’t end well for Mars if he doesn’t I think.
