What would beta!servant be like?
Oh I think I covered this, but I think he’d be. Fairly aggressive? Or stand-offish and intimidating at least. Definitely more threatening than canon Servant in terms of demeanor.
I feel like he would be one of the more dangerous Remnants? If you ever confronted him, you’d have to either be really lucky (cough cough) or have really good reflexes so you don’t fuckin die when he lunges to stab you ;;;;;

please tell me about the vampire janai au,,
*cracks knuckles*
Vampire AU centered around Amaya, Janai, and Gren owo
Vampires in this AU can eat normal food and drink blood from any animal or human. Most used to be human so the idea of drinking human blood is not very appealing… They can also eat normal food but it doesn’t provide any nutrition so they can die from avoiding blood.
I’m just gonna dump all the info I have so far gdsjbgds
Commander Gren’s return was a few days overdue, and Amaya fears that something may have happened to him.
Corvus was currently on a mission to return her nephews back home to her sister, and Amaya doesn’t trust anyone else to find her closest friend.
Amaya and a small party set off to what should have been Gren’s path of travel, but they had to take a detour due to a storm that rendered a path unusable.
The path they took was not that safe either, and Amaya was separated from her party in the accident. She was eventually washed up to shore by the time she woke up, but she was injured and it was nighttime. She needed to find shelter.
Somehow, she found a mansion and she pushed her luck to knock on the gate. The woman who came out was very beautiful but eerie. She seemed suspicious of Amaya at first, but eventually lead her inside when she noticed something.
Janai knows SL because why not. One of her servant’s daughters is deaf as well.
Amaya was lead to the sitting room where she found out that Janai had another guest.
It’s Gren.
He’s bandaged up and looks like he’s seen better days. Amaya runs to him in relief and pulls him into a bear hug even though she’s dirty and Gren’s injured because thank god he’s not actually dead and she knows that even optimism won’t be enough to save Gren sometimes.
Amaya thanks the woman, whom she learns is named Janai. She’s the owner of the mansion as well as the lord of the surrounding territory. She is in charge of not only maintaining the land but also protecting the people living in it (like a knight :D)
Then comes the question: how long does Gren need before he can travel again?
Janai looks towards Gren who looks like he’s guilty of a crime (which would probably have been accidentally stepping on a cat’s foot) and is refusing to look at Amaya in the eye.
But eventually Gren gets the courage to sit her down and tell her what had happened.
On the way back home, Gren encountered a group of bandits surrounding a woman and her daughter. Gren didn’t hesitate to get involved. He tried to resolve the conflict diplomatically, but it was mostly just a distraction that allowed the mother and child to escape.
Gren was not a fighter, and he had not participated in real combat in a long time. He was easily defeated against a group of armed bandits, and just before worst came to worst, a savior swooped in and took out all the bandits in less than a minute. Gren was too gravely injured and too close to death to have paid any attention to the conversation that the 3 figures in front of him were having, and before he knew it he felt a sharp pain on his neck then nothingness.
He woke up in a warm bed in a mansion. Next to him was the mother and child from before. They were servants in the mansion. The child herself is deaf so it brought her happiness that she could thank Gren herself. Then she fetched the apparent owner of the mansion, and his savior, Janai.
Janai managed to save him in time thanks to her servants who found her and pleaded her to save him, but if she was being honest she would have let him die.
Gren didn’t know how to answer that other than with “Um… thank you, still, I guess? It’s nice to be alive.”
Then Janai got to the details: Gren was dying when she got to him. There was no way to save him, except for one thing. Because his servants persuaded her to save him, she did. He could always kill himself if he didn’t want to have been saved anyway.
Gren was really confused and scared now at that line. Gren was saved, but now he was doomed from returning to his normal life.
Janai didn’t say it outright until Gren figured it out that Janai, her servants, and now Gren, are vampires.
Gren tried to laugh it off and stay optimistic, thinking it was a joke but also trying to make light of the situation and looking at the good parts (like he normally does) D:
But Janai went into the details of the situation: the people who lived on her land were vampires. She watched over them and protected them as none of them could live with the other humans without endangering themselves. They’re safe because of her, and because no one knows they exist. Now that Gren is one of them, he can never leave.
Gren thinks of Amaya first and how it pains him to leave her and lie about his own death to her. He did not have any family either, and his place in Amaya’s troop was his home. Janai asks who Amaya is and Gren reveals that Amaya is a general and his closest friend.
Not a great combination because to Janai, it means that there is definitely a search party coming for Gren and the person leading it is not only someone who is powerful but also someone who is very close to Gren and will probably do whatever it takes to find him and bring him home.
Janai gave him the option to send a letter and make up a story about how he can never return, but in the days that went by while he decided, Amaya had already found him.
(He could also kill himself to avoid the life he was going to have from now on. It wasn’t uncommon for vampires to kill themselves when they feel like they’ve lived their life either, but being immortal was not great)
Back to present day, Janai told Amaya that she had originally planned to either kill Amaya or turn her into a vampire to force her to never return to her home, but now with Gren “hostage” Janai also offered the option that Amaya can go back home but she is to keep away from this part of the territory in order to protect her people and Gren, who would not be coming back with her.
Amaya refused to go back home without Gren so Gren urged her to take some time to decide.
Then after this idrk what happens other than that they all live in the same roof for a while and get closer as stuff happens. Callum and Ezran, who were thought to be kidnapped, were actually escorting their vampire friend home.
