i adore my parents but i dont think i can live under their roof for much longer

#ghast.txt #ask to tag for the tags #theyve only ever outright abused me twice in my life #once from my mom screaming she hated me when i was a little kid #once from my dad waterboarding and kicking me when i couldnt swallow a pill in high school #these days they just yell and slam and yell and slam #and theyve always done that #and i know they have reasons #ie my mom has ptsd and bpd #but it doesnt excuse the terror it puts me in every time #its to the point where even things falling and slamming in public spaces makes me terrified now #its just. its abusive #theres no two ways about it #i cant take it anymore
