I still think about them every now and then but i haven't drawn them in a looooong time. till today :) thank you for the ask anon <3

#ie naki ko #remi #REMI!!!! #i miss my son #my baby boy #maybe some spoilers in the tags so uhm #about the ending #i was actually talking with my mom about the ending a while back #and thinking about how in the epilogue the narrator said remi became a lawyer #didn't think much about it #BUT NOW THAT I THINK ABOUT IT #literally every single terrible thing that happened to him was because of the police #besides his initial kidnapping as a baby #but throughout the whole series he's having trouble with the police and getting unjustly punished for stupid little things #Of COURSE he'll want to be a lawyer #to protect the innocent people #dude omg i didn't think about it before #the narrator never mentioned this #the last 10 episodes were literally remi breaking out of prison and running away from the police #the whole final arc was remi running from the poliiceeee #also running away from thugs picking on him #damn #his decision to be a lawyer when he's older totally makes sense now.... #brb rewatching the final episode and crying

Ultimately I think Nobody's Boy: Remi is better than Remy: Nobody's Girl, but they end up being different enough that they're both worth watching imo, despite being adaptations of the same book.

I definitely got the sense that the second one was aimed at a younger audience, which explains why some of the events were toned down.
