i’m a sucker for antagonistic plots and mun has a personality that can easily cause...conflict. so anything rooted in some kind of problem that blows up, or a long-time grudge, or a short-time grudge, or anything that involves someone punching him in the face i am down for.

he’s very self obsessed, so i could see him having had a really good friendship at some point that he just let deteriorate because he just invests more time in himself and rarely finds the need to focus on others in their time of need.

he also gets jealous easily, so despite him pretending that he’s just Too Good For Fame he doesn’t actually think that at all and might act like a dick to someone hitting above his average within their music scene depending on their interactions or how well/not they mesh.

@lideria / dilara: honestly i think that dilara gives off jeno vibes bc i see her as a comforting figure who i can always turn to if i have worries and also a bit of jisung bc shes very introspective and mature. also i believe that once she opens up and becomes comfortable with a person which might not be very easy, if she truts you then she’ll be so much more open and expressive and free (like jeno’s trustworthiness + jisung’s initial reserved nature but openness)

TOP TEN MARKSON MOMENTS

Long post ahead y’all but this was a lot of fun to go back and reminiscence about markson and their antics together. I hope all of y’all enjoy!

Also, please remember that these are my own personal opinions and that they shouldn’t be taken literally or seriously. But if you ever wanna come talk markson with me, I’m always ready :) ((Note: All gifs should be linked directly but videos and pictures with have physical links above them because I’m not sure how to link those to their respective tumblrs– if your post is here and you want your content removed bc you don’t like the linking, msg me and I’ll take it down.)) I’m a litlle late but here we go!!

1. This was one of the ones I already had in mind ;) I just love it bc it’s such a weird situation to be in but Mark, ever the gentleman, just takes it in stride and keeps his hands to himself. I love how near Jackson gets to Mark and if that isn’t the simplest testament of how (pun coming) close they are, I don’t know what is. In all honesty, if Mark really wanted out, a simple hand on the back or a squeeze on the shoulder or even just shifting out of the way would have sufficed but he stays and although his face is stoic, his eyes are constantly on Jackson. LOVE IT!

2. SOFT!! My heart always swells a bit when I see this picture!! It’s natural and pure and they’re both enjoying this moment and it’s evident on their faces. I personally think jumping around puts a smile on most peoples faces and if other people, friends, are doing it with you, then there’s no way that isn’t going to make you shine. SO, jumping+BFF+concert adrenaline+love= BIG A__ SMILES !! Oh they’re also cuties so there’s that factor too.

3. TBH I GOT DISTRACTED WITH THIS ONE AND REWATCHED THIS SECTION OF THE REAL GOT7– anyways…THIS IS PROBS MY ALL-TIME FAVE, THAT I FORGOT ABOUT. So the whole episode itself was hilarious with got7 and we got some markson moments sprinkled in but THIS, THIS takes the cake. I mean who doesn’t want to see their otp get this close to kissing? I love Mark’s hands cradling the back of Jackson’s head. I’d like to believe that Jackson stretched his neck up a bit more when Mark touched the other side of the paper but I’m not sure in this gif bc its quick (maybe I’ll add another one after I publish this). Like omg still can’t believe this happened though :D

4. Ok all the Got2Day Vapp stuff was gold and I loved the fact that we got to see everyone but of course my faves Mark and Jackson had the best one ;) It was cute and relaxed and I just love them in light/soft colors. Also #no#personal#space !! The video is just a short moment but it is super cute and I love them smiling at eachother bc heart palpitations~ OH but the second gif is MY FAVORITE bc it’s Mark just watching Jackson talk and he just looks so content and caring and its just one of those moments ok

5. I could rant FOR YEARS about this but idk if tumblr has a character limit or no.. BUT SERIOUSLY THIS IS JUST ICONIC!! It was actually the 1st to pop into my mind bc it was my icon (no joke for that one sorry) for a month I think? ANYWHO, I just straight up love this. They’re close. Jackson’s shirtless. Said Jackson is pressed along Mark’s backside. Said Mark is very very very smiley. Like Jackson could’ve chosen someone else- JB was kinda close I think- but he chose bae and got all up in bae’s business. And the fact that he’s partially restraining Mark? Keeping him flush with his body and leaning in to talk to him? My heart cannot keep up, this some tachycardia **** right here omg seriously!! Is it hot for anyone else in here or is it just them? *wink*

6. GO WATCH THE VIDEO PLEASE. Like the caption is spot on in my mind and I couldn’t agree more on the fact that it looked like Jackson was going to do something intimate and then he hesitated and looked at the camera!! UGH. seriously a fave moment bc its like what were you gonna do? huh?! You can’t not agree with the fact that that boy was playing around behind Mark. And then there’s Mark’s small smile and that little thing he does with his mouth, which reminded me of someone keeping a smirk in check. Oooooh there’s def something going on there and I wish I knew what it was!!

7. ANOTHER VIDEO!! 9/10 markson shippers should remember this badboy right here. I don’t even remember what video this moment came from but even if I see a still I freak out bc this is literal gold. One of the best shows of touchy!Mark and cuddly!Jackson ever. Seriously, Mark kept putting his hands on Jackson and moving subtly, and then he even has the nerve to lean into Jackson further to whisper something-BOY!! And then there’s Jackson who decides it’s perfectly ok to rest his head on Mark’s chest all casual like he’s done it a thousand times before. And one moment I really love to see is Jackson noticing Mark playing with J’s bracelet, looking at him, and then Mark moves his hand away so quickly like he’s been caught. its cute. don’t fight me on this. Also I got newly-dating vibes from this: not sure how much actual touching is safe, leaning into one another, glued at the hip, private jokes. Markson or never ;) I’ll add a gif when I find one!

8. This picture satisfies like 3 things from my otp goggles-on checklist: smiling towards the other, touching, and suggestive posturing. Don’t tell me that this doesn’t look like Jackson’s about to pull Mark in and plant one on him! The positioning of Jackson’s hands make me wanna punch something bc who puts their hands there unless its for a headbutt or a kiss?? And lemme tell you that I’m 99% sure that he’s not about to headbutt Mark. (ALSO ARMS 4 DAYS JACKSON OVER HERE #hot hot hot) Back to the smiling and touching and pose- they’re close for one thing, and then Mark’s about to go into hug mode, there’s full eye contact going on, and what a beautiful smile!! It seems so loving and happy that I just can’t deal with them rn. I have a link to a gif, Jackson jumping into Mark’s arms :) , so I’ll add that in later!

9. Ok but I really think they fit together so well sometimes~ Like their heights aren’t monumentally different but it’s enough that they look good together. SO there’s that sly BUTT tap and then the blessed hand moves up to the lower back (i like ur style boy) and eventually falls off the waist when they stop in front of the fans. Mark is totally guiding Jackson here and it seems like he’s 100% a-ok with it. Oh and there’s definitely some smiles going on here! I wish we had more concerts but the fanmeets are still great but there’s something about concerts that really let otps shine.

10. VIDEO— ITS THE FINAL ONE Y’ALL AND ITS A FAVE BC I’VE BROUGHT IT UP A FEW TIMES. (lol I still get pissed every time I remember that I posted the screenshots on my old baeksoo account instead of this one but oh whale:) ) anyways I just love love love this bc it was so fleeting but so memorable. I know Mark was running around messing with everyone during this time (and that he did something similar to JB) but this was something special for Jackson. There was NO SPACE between them and their heads were so so so close. And then there were lots of giggles and smiling and DID YOU NOTICE THAT JACKSON HITCHED HIS LEG UP WHICH IN TURN BROUGHT MARK’S LEG HIGHER AND BY DEDUCTION, THEIR HIPS CLOSER?? bc I did. bc I know that. and it’s true. AND THEN AS MARK (the little tease) LEFT, JACKSON TRIED TO KEEP HIM THERE!! GRABBED AT HIS WAIST!! I just want to know what on earth was going through Mark’s head when he decided to go and lay flush against his group member. seriously tho. but 11/10 would recommend them recreating this, in the presence of a solid 1080p filming camera preferably.

well hello there people. if somehow anyone ever finds this, welcome back to another episode of scarletirisdrama. tonights episode discusses to myself what the fuck is the reason im being avoided? like okay so like before i went on the trip everything was perfectly fine you know? like i mean i had a relative/best friend i could always talk to, rely on, and idk just make me happy. even more happy than my ex has ever shown me, partly the reason is because well, we are family and we cant ever fuck that up, right? at least i think im right.. so anyways during the vacation and even after the vacation i KNOW, like i fucking KNOW there is some avoidance as if something is being hidden, with the exception of the last day and man, that was perfect. i finally seen her smile and be herself around me and not fear me or think of me as a burden to carry around. it was truly the best friend i knew and felt. however after i leave i just hear nothing. its all gone. nothing. nada. zip. like legit fucking silence. like i mean im replaying every scenario in my head, did ONE fucking trip to visit someone i care so much about ruin it all? like we had all these plans, japan, moving, school, life, having each others backs, like hold up hold up. lemme tell you guys something. just the other fucking day i was having a. bad day bc something went wrong and i couldn't get registered for classes, i got hella mad and just threw a random stack of paper in my drawers down, and on top fell a note she wrote to me, basically saying she’s so glad to have met me and so glad we are family, how she can come to me for anything and know that i always got her back. it was again, one of the happiest moments i ever felt. now i know where you guys are going, if you see it from a distance, you're all just going to be dude, youre like in love with her, and the answer is FUCK NO, thats gross as fuck. i hate hate hate hate incest, but she really does have something no other women in my life has had, just this natural happy, ecstatic confident energy/feeling in me. like you know that song idk uhm i think “Bubbly” Collie Colliat? or something like that? yea, thats how i feel around her and hearing from her you know? but nah the attraction i have toward her isnt intimate or sexual cause fucking ew. its more like, this passionate one of a kind feeling that i cant get with anyone else. that im always gonna fall on a cloud when things are feeling down and not flat on my ass on some concrete. but where did that all go? its gone, i feel it. i feel nothing anymore, as if i did some horrible crime and she has this metaphorical restraining order on me. was it something i. said? something i. did? the anxiety kills me to like sit here and wonder what the actual fuck happened? like theres NO fucking way she could have been THAT mad over me visiting her right? i mean she has been there for me in so many ways that she doesnt even know shes been there for me sometimes. Like i said and ill repeat what i said, this attraction i have toward my second cousin is not infatuated or lust or romantic cause omg ew. no, ill emphasize it again, its mental, spiritual, and invigorating to know someone has been there for me and i truly fully trust this person. being a relative age similar to mine, she is the first person i ever EVER opened my problems up to, i cant really open up to my siblings or relatives in cali bc being the oldest i want to show no signs of weakness. dumb yeah i know, but seriously its just that like wtf you want me to do? cry or vent or be sad to my brother or baby sister? like uhh. no. and its also the fact we are roughly 1700 miles apart and i feel closer to her than some of my closest friends here. thats why she gets that spot, she deserves it in such a small period of time, she deserves me to see her as my sole best friend. now i never ever believed in “best friend” but she is, and when she is basically that, and already family. she is literally my kansas city twin. that ill actually get mad when anything happens to her, that whether she likes it or not, ill be that overprotective cousin/friend who will stand up for her no matter what the stakes are.. but its like, what did i do you know? its gone, that feeling, i just get total silence when i try to talk to her, or i just get the strongest vibe that she just wants to stay as far away as possible to me, im pretty sure she doesnt even want me around her nor to move to KC or wherever she goes. if this is a lie, and im just overthinking it, then holy shit this agony is so sharp, now keep in mind i dont have clinical depression or anything im way too strong for that shit, but its like.. i do tend to overthink, but i dont think im. overthinking, this tangible idea t hat my best friend might hate me for something i did keeps dwelling at all angles of my brain. my very cells in my body shake from how distance we have quickly grown, AND FOR WHAT? like really? fucking for what? WHAT DID I DO IS THE QUESTION I FUCKING REPLAY. OVER. AND OVER. AND OVER. like if this was anyone else i would not give a fuck, its w/e but why her? why my cousin? like im tired of using the official title “second cousin” because shes so close to me i dont really give a fuck what that shit means but why is she avoiding me? like is it me or is it her or what like i reread my entire ENTIRE phone texts, and fb msgs from the very first time we talked too and it was all fine but now its like total silence, or itd be short quick texts none of this knowing how each others days went or whats on our mind. i cant even directly ask her because itll just make me look crazy if its overreaction but i think she truly has no. idea how painful it is to just like avoid me, if she just told me the reason even if its harsh as fuck and even to the point like “dont ever talk to. me look me up call me or mention me again dont even think of. coming to kc” you know, some fuckin crazy shit like that, ill cry you know? ill break down. but hey. at least i know the truth instead of always wondering the WHY question? Ash if you ever see this or somehow, if its recently you somehow see this, just be up front with me, if its the future and you see this down the road.. if we are still as close as i think we are, then lol my bad i just told you, i love to write when i feel down and have stuff on my mind. But.. if we arent close anymore by the time you ever see this, whatever i did, or whatever you might eventually tell me, i am sorry for it, i dont ever want to jeopardize my relationship and bond i have with you. youre my true other half that i dont literally have to be with as in together, cause 1 like i said thats so gross, and 2, i wouldnt ever wanna be more because youre already everything to me. i look up to you so much you know? youre the cloud cushion to my ass when i fall, and youre the ray of light when its nothing but darkness. youre the paradise to a place as beautiful as california. just know this time right now, August 13th, 2017 at 1:24AM pacific, ( 3:24AM your time) im hurting a bit. i just want to know the truth thats all. whatever youre hiding or even if its nothing at all! just i want my best friend back, and i want that euphoric feeling again...

friends to lovers: they are RIDES OR DIES basically, it doesnt have to be like uh they known each other forever nah its alright if they just met like a year ago anyway they p much together all the time and one of them ( either ur muse or mel idc ) start to feel things for the other and its annoying bc they dont wanna ruin this thing at all .... plot twist ? if u like to watch ur characters suffer, like ME ! maybe this thing is a ONE SIDED THING like one has feelings and the other is like lmao yikes ! so everything slowly becomes awkward ! i dont rly know i dont mind how this actually turns out tbh as long as we have it !

bestfriends: ALMOST SIBLINGS they have known each other for literally YEARS they went to school, high school and maybe college together ! p much melanie is the mother and ur muse is the reckless teenager whos always asking for help but they love each other a lot ! think about cece/jess from new girl :)

roomies ( 0 / 3 ): they all different from one another its a miracle they all get along this well ! they are a huge fucking mess but they are there for each other all the time ! they all live in a loft or a house idk we could figure that out laters ! ( tba )

exes: well okay as explained before, mel is a huge mess when it comes to love ! this could go two ways, they ended on bad terms but try to be as civil maybe ? melanie is a caring loving bitch but when shes in a relationship her insecurities take over most of the times and thats why it messes everything up and MAYBE thats one of the reasons why they broke up ? idk man we can work something out.... OR THEY ENDED ON REALLY NICE GOOD TERMS and still care for each other and its like they are there for each other but its kinda awkward bc do we still love each other like that or are we like family now ? you know ? I DONT MIND MELANIE HAVING LIKE TWO EXES SO LMAO

sugar daddy: is she into that daddy kink ? whO KNOWS ! but lately shes been drooling over u and its kinda nice but shes afraid bc this will probably end up really bad but shes still willing to take one for the team !
