how are endeavors genetics so shit?? out of 4 children: one of them has his build, 2 and a half have his eyes (1 and a half in the anime), none of them have just red hair, maybe 3/4ths of a head in total plus touya's originally being red, and quirk wise none of them just have a fire quirk. are rei's genetics just strong as hell or something?? or are endeavor's pathetic?

au of a less traumatized todofam and their shameless favoritism when it comes to one another:

Shouto loves all his siblings, but Fuyumi would always have a special place in his soba obsessed heart. That's his sister that took care of him, attended his school meetings, and generally became the one person he knows will be there when the house would be empty of any soul. She's the one he'll run to when his brothers would be bullying him, knowing full well she'd side with him always. Class 1-A sees their resident ice prince goes full baby mode when his sister comes to visit. "Nee-san, nee-san, did you miss me? I really missed you, nee-san."

Natsuo having Touya as his favorite sibling isn't really a surprise, especially when the two slept in the same room. Touya was the first one who he told of his dreams of being a doctor, becoming a hero in the way he wants to. Touya only grinned at him and said he's sure he can do anything he wants to, because he's his baby brother. His big brother who he hid behind when the house got too loud, too destructive for such a quiet child that Natsuo was. He saw the lean, fragile back of his brother standing tall against Endeavor and not flinching for even a bit and was inspired to be like him, that when he grows up, he'll be the one protecting other people too. Basically, Natsuo's hero worship for the only person in their family who wants nothing to do with heroes lol.

Meanwhile, we got Fuyumi who we all know would be a complete daddy's girl. Because while their family became a tad shaky in the years of Natsuo and Shouto's childhood, she still remembers calling the no. 2 hero her Papa and being carried on his broad shoulders. She remembers those rough fingers brushing through her hair as she fell asleep to his singing voice, a little rough around the edges, but it's her Papa's. She remembers inexperienced hands fumbling to tie her hair yet still calling her the most prettiest princess even with uneven pigtails. It might be tainted by the years to come, but it's those memories that pushes her to keep their family together.

Touya, pierced and edgelord Touya, is a complete mama's boy. When he was young, still not knowing how to control his emotions that are always too much, he'd know that his mother's quiet and comforting demeanor would be the break he needs from the world. She would quiet the buzzing in his ears, playing with his hair as she hums a quiet tune, grounding him to reality when he's close to lashing out at anyone near. During his highschool days, the whole LoV(League of Vtubers) would get a front row seat to their resident deliquent being an obedient puppy and being nothing but a complete gentleman to his visiting mother. "Mom, you can have Shiggy's seat, I'm sure he'll be happy sitting on the floor if it's for you." Tomura just grumbles through it all.

Extra:

Future son-in-law and Honorary Todoroki Keigo's favorite person would obviously be Endeavor, to the horror of his boyfriend. Touya didn't think anything would be worse than the time he had to babysit a Shouto who puked in the middle of the supermarket but there it was. It takes the form of his boyfriend being an absolute simp for Enji and the hero just confused why this smol child is being so chatty. "Endeavor-san, what do you think about going with me and Touya to our trip to the Bahamas? Of course Touya said yes, why would you even think otherwise?" Keigo slept on the couch for two weeks after the incident, Touya making him remember who his attention should be on with his very talented tongue and hands. (and the piercings- oh god the piercings. keigo can die a happy man)

I'm gonna make a bit of a crazy comparison here but bear with me.

Monoma could turn out like endeavor.

Absolutely not the child abuse part of course, I can't see him doing anything like that given on how he acts with Eri, I mean the obsessively trying to pass, or "be better" than the future number one. in this case, the number one being Izuku.

we have already seen Monoma's obsessive behavior when it comes to class 1-A, so I really think Izuku and him could have some of that allmight endeavor dynamic.

I do think though, that Monoma wouldn't hate Izuku like Endeavor hated Allmight. Monoma has a strong respect for 1-A that we have indirectly seen so far, his inferiority and jealousy is what makes it seem like he hates their guts.

Tbh endeavor is a great hero. Shit father but it's a canon thing that he is the best hero in Japan if we don't uknowlege the op ofa quirk users. He takes his job with full seriousness and is also a great teacher and mentor. Which is funny because as for the main character that is supposed to show how hero society sucks he is... a good hero. He is a good hero, boss, teacher. He doesn't even abuse his power. Sidekicks love and adore him. Him being a shit person has nothing to do with hero society. Him wanting to be no 1 and better than All Might is not societys fault. He is just a bad broken person because he is just a weak guy that went too far with his goals.

So when people say that Endeavor is prime hero example of hero society being broken I just want to ask... how?

Well, it could show how people use their reputation and public image to cover their horrible actions. The closest real-life example is how police officers can be loved by their peers and the public, then come home to beat the crap out of their families. Then said families aren’t believed because the public image is so strong. In a way, that’s how he uses his “hero image” and abuses his power. Sorry, but as this is a serious topic featuring abuse, I’d rather avoid diving too deep into Endeavor’s character, as it’s out of my field. At the very least, I would like to wait until I have more information on the subject.

I will touch on the Hero Society thing, though; People say that it’s the popularity system that turned Endeavor into what he was. However, from what we’ve seen, he just wanted to beat All Might as he was obsessed with him, like how Bakagou was obsessed with Izuku. The manga states that the hero business is very competitive, and we get a few glimpses here and there. Yet those are more like childish spats than anything serious. Because of that, it’s hard to take the line “heroing is competitive” seriously. It’s a story, however. So, to keep it flowing, the writing needs to compress some stuff into one character, in this case, Endeavor. However, Endeavor never uses the system to get what he wants. Is there a scene before All Might’s retirement that showed Endeavor caring about his popularity? Is he watching the ranks? Anything like that? I can’t recall off the top of my head. But in conclusion, Endeavor is an asshole because he wanted to beat All Might, who was stronger than him. It never had anything to do with the popularity system. Of course, I don’t remember every single scene in the manga, so maybe I missed something. If someone has more information, then, by all means, share.

Not to be controversial, but

”Bakugou and endeavor share similar traits (stubborn, goal oriented, a will to be the best while covering up insecurities etc.) and if left in a similarly toxic environment without the character development that bakugou had there is a possibility he could have turned out a similarly toxic person”

And

“Bakugou is a child who still has time to grow and learn so his actions have to be regarded differently to that of a grown man”

Are two statements that can coexist

#I dont know how to say this but endeavor has actual other traits than ‘abused his family’#when I say that he and midoria are alike #I’m just referring to how they process things and will keep going even when their own quirk starts working against them #I would personally argue that all might and endeavor are both two extremes #representing different glorified aspects of hero work #selflessness vs. the stubborn drive to keep going #so the children having these traits and (hopefully) learning something from it #is kinda natural #bnha #mha #endeavor #enji todoroki #bakugou katsuki

I have a headcanon that Natsuo Todoroki is gay and has told all of his family except for Endeavor because he fears that his father will reject him. But when Natsuo finally finds it in his to tell Endeavor, it is revealed that Endeavor had figured out that Natsuo was gay years ago on his own and while it took him some time to come to terms with it, he has now grown to accept his son for who he is and still loves him.

a/n: i just thought this would be cute, hawks getting all upset- I mean- Keigo. 🙄

“You know for someone who’s always out and about, you always seem to make time for me.” You softly smile upon hearing your front door open and then close.

“How’d you know it was me?” He asked, taking off his coat with a tussle.

You paused your tv show before turning around to look at him.

“Can smell the kfc on you from a mile away” you teased as he scoffed in offense. “Woah, I wear the best cologne.”

“You mean axe body spray?” You added, his lips escaping a laugh. “Not to much on me birdie.” His eyes followed yours as you got up from your spot on the couch to be in his embrace, a smile peering through his lips as he sweetly pecked you.

“Mmm..” you hummed in satisfaction. “How was work sweet boy?”

“The same as always.” He replied, holding you in his arms tiredly. You noticed how he tried to hold himself up. You knew how exhausted he was from working so often, and how bad he wanted to collapse into your arms. Still, he always kept that last bit of energy for you. It didn’t matter how much of it he had left, he’d always be strong for you.

“You need to get sleep baby.” You said, pushing the hair out of his face, “nah im fine, I wanna spend some time with you.”

“You can do that in the bedroom.” You added as a smirk grew on his face.

“Not in that way weirdo!” You gently punch his arm making him laugh. “Oh but I was hoping~”

“and I hope you go to bed, finally~” you cut him off.

He looked into your eyes for a moment before saying “your right love, guess I should start listening to you from now on.”

“Took you how long to realize that?” He hummed as he gently placed his head down to rest on you. “Not that long~”

You sighed out a slight smile, your hand playing with his hair.

“Hey.” You said, making him slightly come up. “Yeah?”

“I love you, hawks.”

His head popped up, a look of disgust on his face.

"Excuse me??" He said, pouting.

You can’t help but start laughing at him. He looks like you just insulted endeavor to his face.

“UHM who is this other man in your life??!!” He says dramatically.

“Ughh, I love you Keigo~”

“Mm..” he settles back down into your comfort, “much better.”
