Andrew Dabb is by far the weakest showrunner SPN has had. I dont understand why you stan him? I mean, you're entitled to your opinion of course but to me he obviously doesnt care about canon or the Winchesters, only the side characters and pandering to the 1% (Hellers)

First, let me say I don't “stan” him, I just don't think he’s any worse than any other showrunner SPN has had, and in some ways, he's even better. Apologies up front that this may run long, but I have a lot to say about the subject.

I didn’t join the Tumblr fandom until s11 was over and the show had changed hands from Carver to Dabb. All summer long I heard from Hellers how Dabb hates the Winchesters toxic co-dependency and is going to do away with it. And he is “for sure” going to make Destiel canon because he likes it and so does his assistant, she even had books published on the subject! So everyone not interested in that ship, dispised Dabb before the season even started filming, However, the Hellers were proven wrong, Dabb has done the least destiel pandering than ANY other showrunner, and has improved on Sam and Dean’s relationship while still managing to keep them dangerously co-dependent, but for some reason, the Hellers still preach the opposite and the bibros still believe them. I don’t think the fandom gave Dabb a fair chance.

Now, I agree that there have been some bad stories, and failure to keep up with canon and some annoying retcons but because i actually watch the series over and over, I can see this has been a problem with every showrunner, even Kripke. A problem I have seen with the show since the beginning is maybe, there have been too many writers and maybe they dont watch the show or read what other writers have written from episode to episode. But since this has been a constant, I dont go nuts when it happens over and over because I still love the show and I am still invested in the whole story.

One thing I learned quickly when I came to the fandom is the hypocrisy is level 50 on all sides. One side hates the other because theyre bullies but the other side isnt much better. Bitter girls are critical of the other brother for things they dont hold against their fav and everyone thinks J2 hate the show as much as they do. These people may never know how ridiculous they look by watching a show for 10 years past the time they stopped liking it, or bitching about a show they dont even watch anymore and pretend they have a clue whats going on.

As I watch the Krikpe era recently, I like picking out things that the fandm would cry about if it happened now. In s1 Faith all the reapers were scary monster looking shriveled old dudes, and then in 2.1 (Less than 10 episodes later) Dean’s Reaper tells him Reapers can appear as whatever they want even a pretty girl “RETCON!!!” I could hear y’all crying if Dabb did that. And why did saying “Christo” help point out a demon once but never again? (till s14 when they did a call back)

How about fan-favorite Mystery Spot? We all love that right? But if it wasnt an episode until the Dabb era, you would all flame it because Sam keeps saying every day is exactly the same, thats how he knows what is going to happen and yet none of the days are the same as the one before. “THESE WRITERS SUCK!!!!!” is the response you all would give

The End is literally double Dean and 5 minutes of Sam. In the Beginning is literally 46 seconds of Sam, if these episodes happened now alll id hear is “Dabb hates Sam... writers hate Jared!!”

How about S4 when the Angels are threatening to kill Sam for using his powers, and yet, they want him to kill Lilith with his powers?? What? Theres no way that would fly in the Dabb era.

How about introducing the Anti-Christ in a season about The Apocolypse and not following through on it? Or how everyone shades Dabb for pushing Wayward sisters when Kripke pushed Ghost Facers? Even threw in a random and highly out of place advertisement for their web series that never went anywhere? (random promo in Hammer of the Gods) or having girls constantly getting in the boys’ way and Dean frequently telling Sam he cant trust him and doesnt believe in him?? “No one knows the brother’s love as well as Kripke uwu”

As far as destiel fodder goes, if anyone just started watching SPN in s12, they would never get a vibe that Dean and Cas have a thing, but maybe Sam and Cas do, Cas and Dean are hardly even friends since S12, yet the Kripke era gave birth to Destiel, and Gamble and Carver fed into it “I gripped you tight and raised you from perdition” “He was your boyfriend first” “Bases loaded bottom of the 9th, (cas) Id rather have you (as opposed to Sam) “ *dean carries trench coat around in the trunk of all his beater cars* “I need you.... we need you” “Theres people, and feelings, that I want to experience differently now, maybe for the first time” (when the only people in Deans life at the time were Sam and Cas) ALL came before Dabb, and what is Dabb guilty of? “I love you, I love all of you” and a mix tape.

So no... Dabb isnt perfect, but he definitely doesnt suck. I just think y’all decided to hate him before s12 and just never gave him a fair shot. Hardly any of you rewatch the series and cant remember things that happened back in the day, you just all seem to have this notion it was all gritty car scenes, googly eyes and dirty motel rooms.

I know no one is reading this so that hello everybody was pretty useless. I am going to be using this tumblr as my diary. Maybe in 200 years after I’m a dead crazy scientist some random person will find it and realise how fucked up I am B)

Today was a bad day, all cuz of me

When I woke up I was in a bad mood. Im always in a bad mood

My boyfriend loves me a lot. I dont know why Im so suspicious of him cheating on me, deep down I know he would never do that to me. His ex girlfriend is really pretty and she likes him. He doesnt have a lot of friends so he was going to hang out with her. I am so happy for him that hes making a friend but a part of me wants to cry cuz Im scared of what will happen. I know that im being a selfish, out of line bitch, but i dont know how to stop it. even worse, he thinks its cuz i dont trust him. I got really sad when he was gone and cried for a few hours. But I felt a bit better and walked my dog and ate lots of food and I was really proud of myself. Then when my boyfriend came back I was being a bitch to him for no reason

Its really weird. Im genuinely happier for him than I am jealous of her. But for some weird reason it doesnt cancel out. I just feel both happy and sad. I know hed stop talking to her if i just asked but i’m not going to cuz im so happy for him. so instead i make myself go through this all

Then I had another breakdown. I love my boyfriend more than anything but he doesnt comfort me anymore. He takes everything that happens to me to heart and blames it on himself but its not his fault at all.

He says i’ve changed, which scares me because i think it means that he’s less in love with me. He got mad at me today and said Fuck you to me twice which he never does, and that he doesnt care if i love him or not. I dont know if he meant it, i hope he didnt, but i know he probably did

i wish my brain was a switch and I could turn it off. I wish i was a robot on autopilot that predicted every next move purely on logic, like those automatic planes and cars do.

Sometimes i wish i wasnt here anymore. I dont know who to tell, ive told my therapist but shes just a therapist. I want a friend so bad, im not going to be a burden on my boyfriend so i wont unload my issues on him.

Its 7:30 and all of this happened at 2 pm so I feel a bit better. I apologised to all my friends for neglecting them. Hopefully they understand what its like to be me

I wish someone could just read my mind to see Im not a liar and I feel all this stuff. Sometimes its like no one beleives me. My boyfriend thinks its all because of him, my mom still doesnt fully believe me but I know its because of her cultural background, to my therapist im just another source of cash. I dont know what to do

I dont want to die cuz Ive been thinking about the stuff Ill miss out on. Like getting married and having a baby and decorating my very own house

Im going to stop talking about sad things because theres more to life than sadness. I figure that you decide what to give attention to, and im going to try stop pitying myself and pretending like im a helpless cause

I’m just as worthy of love as everyone else, even if im a bit selfish and dumb. I need to work on my insecurities and recognise that my boyfriend loves me and wouldn’t play with my trust. I need to realise that my friends aren’t out purely to get me, and that not all people are my enemies

Ive talked about my boyfriend a lot but i havent told you about my family at all. My mom is from Japan, shes very traditional and conservative. I know she loves me, even though she demonstrates it in questionable ways. My dad is the best dad in the entire world and he loves me a lot. i know he loves me because he cares about me and sacrifices so much for me, like my mom.

I love my little brother so much. He’s so sweet. He’s never said a bad thing about anyone, and I doubt he ever will. He’s a bit dumb, but maybe thats cuz hes still a baby. Im very protective of him cuz hes the only one younger than me, and hes like a STAR!!!! All he ever does is make everyone around him happy

My older brother is a bit of a nut. He’s really smart though and he loves me too. Hes protective of me but i think thats every big brothers job. My oldest brother is strong and tall and hes protective of me too. I dont get to see him as much cuz he started college but he always buys me frozen yogurt so its cool.

Ok what fuckin sucks even more than that is seeing people give tumblr user ihatecispeople shit JUST for his name being ihatecispeople. Despite the fact his entire blog is full of actual good analysis of transphobic shit cis people have sent him so its pretty clear WHY he's saying "i hate cis people" and he means these ones doing these shit. Its like how literally any damn minority cant say "ugh i hate [majority]" withput clarifying that they menat"i hate the members of this majority that are hurting me and do not hate everyone in the majority because i believe the category they were born as is biologiclly inferior". Even though its CLEARLY APPARANT thats what they goddamn mean, when they say "i hate cis people" DIRECTLY AFTER getting hate mail from a transphobic cis person. Its nuts how cis people (oh im sorry SPECIFICALLY ONLY CERTAIN CIS PEOPLE) will bend over backwards to say that a single trans person stating an unsatisfactarily specific statement equals cisphobia is real. Because that totally equals being hate crimed and societally oppressed by trans people!! Like do they really fuckin think that the only crime transphobes commit is posting privately on a blog somewhere the single sentence "i hate trans people". Which, by the way, is COMPLETELY DIFFERENT to saying "i hate cis people" cos they fuckin said it first!! Like they dont even need to spend all the time we do clarifying our every move, they just get it taken on good faith that it was all a misunderstanding no matter wjat! And again trans people havw to write fuckin huge detailed essays explaining every damn aspect of why the thibg was bigoted in order to get it recognised. And even then tehyre more likely to get hate than get an apology! Its just like no matter what you fuckin do, transphobes are gonna be all "uhhhh i cant be bpthered to do the research/listen to you/remember what you said last time/use basic reading comprehension skills/give you the basic benefit of the doubt as a human being/put in ANY EFFORT AT ALL INTO THIS CONVERSATION", and so many "on the fence" people will just be like "yes this is perfectly okay" while at the same time supporting those transphobes grilling trans people over every damn sentence they ever say.

God its just so fuckin tiring. And thats the point. Its playing dumb to make you too tired to fight back, so you just shut up and let people treat you like shit. My abusive father used to do the same thing, pretending like he ~just didnt know~ that what he was doing was abuse and you had to explain it to him. Over and over in exactly the same way every time. I could’t tell you the last time I’ve been on here. But I could always tell you the outlet that tumblr always randomly had for me. Like today, I’m writing this here as a release. I know it won’t be seen. But this year has been fucking hard. Really really fucking hard. Im sitting in my room right now, and realized I was starting to cry. But can’t figure out why. Our season just abruptly ended last night, after hours and hours of tireless work. You think I would be happy, right? You know, got some drinks with co-wokers last night, enjoyed being out for a minute. But now I’m here and I almost feel stuck. What the fuck do I do now? My body’s tired. My mind is tired. So I would love to chill the fuck out. But what good does that do me. I don’t if I make the expectations too high for myself, or need to give myself a good boot in the ass to get it together. My friends haven’t spoken to me, really, in months - unless I send them something. Even then, I feel like I did something for them to scrape me out. But I could’t have done anything. I literally have done nothing the last 8 months but work and quarantine. What the fuck have I done to lose the people I’ve lost? Have I lost them? Or am I just fucking nuts? I think I am a little nuts at this point. I’m nuts, depressed, fucking confused....fucking tired man. I’m so tired. So fucking tired I wouldn’t mind laying down and throwing my hands up. But everyone’s tired - I get that it’s not only me. This year has challenged everyone in one way or another. And no one should ever feel like they need to hide or act like what they’ve gone through wasn’t hard. I feel like that’s what I have to do, hide that these last 8 months haven't been hard. But duuuuude, its been fucking hell for me. Just because I work in a more ‘glamorous’ profession, doesn't mean it doesnt fucking suck and drain you of any good energy you had. I feel like I can’t talk about it, and if I do....they’ll just judge, or go off to someone else to say how I need to stfu. I almost sent all my friends back home, some positive cards just to lift some spirits - literally of the blue because I wanted to bring some light. But I stopped and told myself not to, because I know by now that I’ll get nothing in return. Should I have done it anyway? It shouldn't matter what I get in return if it is out of the good of my heart. But I also know, I need to maybe be selfish and not waste my money on time on those who never spend it on me. I have no idea at this point what I’m thinking is real, or if I’m over analyzing the fuck out of everything. Either way, I just want my best friends back. I need them. I need myself. I'm currently staying in Texas and I am shopping for an auto Insurance for my Mitsubishi Lancer ES 2011. I'm 22 years old and I started driving for the past 9 months, and also had received my Texas drivers license 9 months ago. I never had an accident of any kind or received any tickets. I need to find an auto insurance company that's affordable, I understand that because i'm a new driver and young I will be paying more. So I go to the left and the left and gas it a little bit, I was going like 10 mph as I was taking off, and the light turns yellow, I cross the crosswalk, then the light turns red and I drive under the set of lights.. These 2 bike cops came immediately after me... So long story short, it was my first time being pulled over, I took the seatbelts off, and I ran the red light because there was a guy pulling into a parking stop right in front of me and I was too worried looking around afraid I was going to hit a jaywalking tourists. I know people always think they're right, but I honestly think I didn't do anything wrong here. I got a $25 seat belt fine and a warning for running the red light, which is complete BS. I know this is long but please bear with me. Rather than set up a separate government run medical insurance or expansion of medicare to the general public....One criticism of government care is that it will be in direct competition with existing providers. Ultimately siphoning insurance customers away from traditional plans and onto the rolls of govt care causing these providers to go out of business. Here in my state the auto insurance companies MUST offer the same basic minimum coverage in order to do business in the state. Everyone here must have at least the same basic level of insurance (both auto and medical) . You can go to any provider you choose and this basic minimum insurance level costs the same . If you want more insurance you can pay for additional coverage. But that basic plan is available to all. So why not have a similar program for medical insurance as part of a nation wide group policy. This group can be subsidized by the government but it would be managed by the existing insurance providers. (In other words if you want to be in the insurance business you must offer and support this minimum plan which would be a foundation for any other plan you offer) The govt pays the insurance company a flat rate to manage each person enrolled in the basic plan. The more money the company saves (the better they manage the insurance) the more money they keep. However if that company provides poor management it will cost them. Either subscribers will change management companies if they feel they are getting a raw deal or wasteful management would not be payed for by the government. One advantage I see here is that consumers would have an alternative providers to go to if they feel wronged by a particular management company. Insurance providers also have an incentive to offer additional services to the basic plan members in order to attract more subscribers and earn money. With a govt program like medicare your stuck with the one provider (the governement). As they say One Choice is NO Choice.... If someone wants additional insurance they can buy additional coverage from any provider they choose. But No one could be denied coverage for the standardized basic plan. Since everyone is part of this national group policy the basic insurance is portable and independent of supplemental policy one may have. So if you change jobs or move to a different state you may loose the supplemental policy BUT your basic coverage remains intact. You merely transfer the company that provides the management services for the basic medical. Insurance providers would get paid by the fed to manage the participants in the basic plan for each participant in the basic plan. this would put market forces into play for the insurance providers to make money by attracting additional participants through better service or offerings. COunter to this is if the consumer gets crappy management services they can transfer to any other insurance provider.
