Look I know it's nice to be like "haha fuck capitalism Yolo I'm gonna spend all the money I have because I deserve fun things" because same

But if you're hurting your fellow poor person due to your spending habits, you're not saying fuck you to capitalism, you're saying fuck you to poor people.

Not paying bills that others rely on you to pay is hurting your fellow person.

Expecting them to come save you every time you make a lethal financial error, to the point of taking higher risks, is hurting your fellow person.

Spending more money on something fun and useless instead of paying back the hundreds (but less than the fun thing) you owe your friend is hurting your fellow person.

Seeing your debt with other people as unimportant and below even entertanment in general, is hurting your fellow person.

Stealing from them is hurting them.

Using them is hurting them.

Manipulating them is hurting them.

Threatening to kick them out if they don't do what you want is hurting them.

Bribing them with things you'll never pay back is hurting them.

Acting like a landlord in a roommate situation is hurting them. (Unless agreed upon first).

Basically, you can be as irresponsible as you want with your money in the name of "sticking it to the man". Just stop begging for others to come clean up your mess with zero regard for the fact that they might not have the money to do so, and then act like the victim.

(Also I feel it's pretty privileged in general to have so much money that you have to go out of your way to fuck yourself over on purpose so you can expect handouts for responsibilities you don't want to spend money on because it doesn't give serotonin. But I digress.)

the funniest meltdown ive ever had was in college when i got so overstimulated that i could Not speak, including over text. one of my friends was trying to talk me through it but i was solely using emojis because they were easier than trying to come up with words so he started using primarily emojis as well just to make things feel balanced. this was not the Most effective strategy... until. he tried to ask me "you okay?" but the way he chose to do that was by sending "👉🏼👌🏼❓" and i was so shocked by suddenly being asked if i was dtf that i was like WHAT????
