"unnie! come here!" you look up from your phone to the living room where your sister is sitting on the couch on her laptop for something. you sigh before standing up from the dining table chair and making your way to the living room with your phone. "what's up?" you ask, standing beside the couch, darting your eyes on your sister who is leaning on the laptop. her face is almost close to smothering the monitor of her laptop. "don't sit like that, do you want to be a shrimp forever?" you tell your sister before putting a hand on her back, causing her to stir and sit straight, looking up to you.

"oh hi!" youngseo sighs before turning the laptop for you to see. "unnie, can you help me? i've been working on this position paper for a while but i really can't take a grasp of it." you nod and take the laptop to read what your sister has written so far.

"i assume this is a position paper?" you ask, youngseo's face lights up and she nodded.

"yeah! we were asked to pick an editorial cartoon and make two positions for it, then choose one and make a position paper out of it." youngseo answers, she leans on the couch and scratches her cheeks, pursing her lips. you nod as you read the paper, apparently it's about the spread of fake information with the use of social media — having some experience in writing before, you expected the paper to be a lot more easier.

with that in mind, you turn to look at your sister with pure confusion. "what's so hard about this? it's just a position paper." you tell your sister who then sighs and shakes her head. "no! you don't get it! we were given a 10 page format for the paper, i really did think too that it was easy but it's not." youngseo protests, shrugging and standing up, she walks next to you and gives you a side hug. "come on unnie! please help me..." she whispers and buries her head to your shoulder.

you couldn't help but sigh of course, you still have the laptop in your arms and you look at your sister. "i'm really worried about you, what if i wasn't here?" you tell her with a chuckle, the younger girl pouts and sticks out her tongue. "but you're here and you have no choice." she lets go of you and you take it as a chance to place the laptop on the coffee table and cross your arms.

"alright, i'll help. send me the format and this google document link." you tell your sister who nods and smiles brightly at you. "thank you so much sis!" she laughs and claps her hands. you shake your head in faux disbelief. "make sure to check out the document and be updated." you remind her before leaving and making your way to your room which was upstairs.

"okay unnie! i love you!" you hear your younger sister as you leave.

it's funny, you really did have good intentions for your sister when you finally received the link of the document and the paper format — youngseo was right, the formatting of the position paper required was different than the usual, it followed certain paragraph forms that aren't usually used.

when you opened the google document link, you started editing some stuff and entering new paragraphs, making sure you follow the format and the right grammar — the thing is, you didn't know that you were using an email account you didn't mean to use.

another thing is that, you didn't know another person beside you was making edits and writing on the same document. your sister had never mentioned that the work she was doing that you were now working on was a project that is done by pair.

"minji's pinky toe..? is this youngseo?" a certain girl behind the account: [email protected] muttered under her breath, they've been working on this project for almost 1 week as the allotted time for the work is 1 month, in those 7 days she and jiwoo shared — the girl had never used this account and have been using her school account.

now this account that is sharing the same document as she was is an account she had never seen before, not only the name was questionable but it's also quite peculiar how much work the person behind the account has done in just a span of an hour — usually youngseo would be asking several questions and will take time before writing a new paragraph just to make sure she's doing the right thing.

danielle scrolls to the recent paragraph that the account is currently working on.

your eyes spots the anonymous puppy in the document and squints your eyes. "is youngseo active?" you look up to see there's another account working on the paper and click on it to see the email.

"huh?" you whisper to yourself. you watch as the person starts typing out a sentence besides the one you just finished.

youngseo? why is your email account named like that?

"like what?" you ask yourself before clicking to check the email you're using and to your surprise, you immediately gasp as your eyes lands on the account that hanni made in your laptop. "oh my god, what is this?" you start to panic realizing that the person in the same document might have thought that youngseo is the one behind the email account.

"holy shit..." you mutter before typing an answer to danielle's question.

oh my god, i'm sorry i was using the account my sister's friend made.

danielle blinked as the anonymous raccoon finally answered.

you couldn't help but sigh and slap yourself due to embarrassment and now you'll hear youngseo whining into your ears for putting her on an awkward situation.

hanni: look it's supposed to be a joke since you sent me a pic of your toe.

y/n: my sis asked me to help her with her paper and i didn't know someone else besides her was working on the document.

turns out you really weren't wrong because as soon as you got downstairs your sister suddenly appeared as if she was teleporting. "youngseo—!" you're caught off guard and your sister crosses her arms on her chest with a sharp glare. "why did you use that horrible account?" she asks.

"youngseo look, hanni made that account and i accidentally used it because i didn't know!" you explain watching as she turns her back to you and walks upstairs to your father's office with her feet stomping on the floor. "hey don't tell dad!" you tell her but she turns around to you with a frown. "then why did you tell dani that it was me using it?" you laugh sheepishly and shrugged.

"cause i didn't want her to think you're letting your sister do the work." you answer, youngseo takes some deep breaths and raises her hand to your face. "keep it, thank you for your help but starting tomorrow i will be working on that paper again." she tells you and leaves to enter her room, leaving you confused with her sudden change of mood.

youngseo: hey dani, i was just gonna say it was actually my sister who was using that account.

youngseo: i asked for her help and lent her the google document.

youngseo: she just really has the most annoying friends ever.

danielle: hey youngseo!

danielle: it's alright, i did kind of think it was funny tho...

youngseo: yeah she's goofy and stupid.

danielle: her name's y/n right? and your youngest sis is hyein?

youngseo: yup, why?

danielle: nothing, i heard your older sis is joining the regional table tennis competition and might make it to the national team.

youngseo: ohhh yeah, but she has to win the regionals first and then she's going to compete in japan before qualifying for nationals.

danielle: that's awesome! good luck to her.

danielle: i'm competing for the regional journalism competition and i'm covering for sports so i was a bit curious.

youngseo:...so you want to meet her or something?

danielle: yes, kind of.

"oooh isn't that danielle?" hanni's voice rolls inside your ears while you are tying your shoes, you look up at your two friends who are whispering towards each other. "who?" you stand in the middle not too far from the duo who both look at you at the same time. "the sports writer for HYBE chronicles." minji answers, you look towards the girl's direction and then to minji.

"you know her?" you ask, minji shakes her head and looks at hanni. "do you?"

"of course not, she's pretty popular okay? and she's attending your competition for the HYBE chronicles." hanni answers, you look once again to danielle and try to decipher what memory you have that reminds you of her name.

but to no avail, you really don't remember anything.

"her name sounds familiar" you tell your friends who both look at you in unison. hanni laughs as if mocking you, she points her index finger towards you with a smirk. "what? she talked to you before?" she says.

minji raises her brows and looks at you with surprise written on her face. "wait really?"

you roll your eyes and shake your head. "duh, no. i just remembered my sister mentioning it once."

while the three of you talk, danielle turns her head around to spot you out of all the people that are present in the park inside the school premises.

"can i excuse myself for a bit?" danielle asks the people who are also a part of their organization, she gets an approval before she takes her leave and makes her way to you and your friends.

you feel minji nudging your sides and you glare at her. "dude what the hell do you want?" you tell her and notice she's staring right in front of you, hanni also was speaking. you turn your head to see danielle making her way to you with a smile.

"hi! your youngseo's sister right?" danielle asks you and you feel your knees shaking, your shoulders feel stiff under her graze. this must be your sister's classmate, yes you figured it really might be her. you look at your two friends who just had their eyes on you with a worried expression. you smile at danielle before scratching your cheeks and nodding.

"oh yeah, right. i'm her sister, is there anything i can help you with?" you ask danielle who only smiled brighter and even giggled. "wow, i've been hearing a lot about you since the division competition and i was so stoked to see you." minji and hanni exchanged looks as you and danielle stood face to face between the duo. you feel your blood boiling upwards to your cheeks causing it to glow red.

you're super sure you've never seen a girl as pretty as danielle, maybe there were some before but if you were to be really honest it really feels like you're talking to the sun itself with the way the girl glows right in front of your eyes.

it's blinding and even the way she smiles doesn't help it.

"ah, yeah... i'm also excited about it. you're also competing right? for the HYBE chronicles..?" you ask her, sounding so cheesy and sheepish hanni felt like she was about to vomit on the spot, but danielle only nodded and even gave you a small tap on your shoulders.

the way her soft fingers trailed on your blazer caused you to almost fall. almost.

"yes! we're publishing our online newspaper and we'll also take our legacy by printing out these papers and submitting them in an international competition." the way danielle talks about it, made her seem more amazing to your eyes — you barely even know this girl but the way she carried herself almost had you wanting to carry her too, with your not-so-flimsy arms.

"god... that sounds amazing." you barely even understand whatever she was saying but you were sure enough that you knew what that meant: danielle is everyone's it girl.

hanni grimaced at your response and minji couldn't help but chuckle, even putting a hand on her mouth. "i know right? you must feel very happy about yours too, i can't wait to cheer you on! good luck." with that, danielle bid her goodbye and left, leaving you with your two idiotic friends.

"ho! ho! hold on! what was that?" hanni asks, holding her hands to your face with a surprise look on her face, minji shrugs and smiles— seeing your lovestruck face at the encounter with such a gorgeous girl. you smile, blinking your eyes slowly, watching danielle go back to talking with her friends. "i don't know..." you mutter.

"wow, she actually knows you? i didn't expect she'd care." minji laughs, she's kidding actually, it's not like you're not that popular too but she likes messing with you sometimes. "you're pulling girls now?" hanni asks, raising her brow at you, you shake your head and bury your face on your palm, smiling. "no! god leave me alone hanni." you say, but smiling hard as you turn away — the duo looks at each other and shrugs.

"i'm still embarrassed by the fact i used an account named minji's toenail and danielle saw it." you sigh as you plopped down your bed, you had your two amazing friends to stay with you in your room before you go through a long training session for the tournament. minji rolls her eyes at your statement.

"how are you more embarrassed? that's literally my toenail." minji scoffs, earning a laughter from hanni who gripped the edge of your table. "i'm so sorry minji, just don't send photos of your toenail next time alright?" hanni says, wiping a tear from her eyes.

"why not? that was such a silly impression to make." you tell your friends, minji sits next to you on your bed — her weight sinking. "since when did you care about your impression to girls? last time i checked you couldn't even answer a simple mathematical problem to impress a girl." minji crosses her arms on her chest, looking down at you.

"and you used to have stomach aches when a girl talks to you." hanni adds, this causes you to scoff with how true their words are.

yes, you used to never care about your impression on girls even if you'd regret it after since you used to have the biggest and most pathetic crushes on girls you were sure you can never have.

maybe because you've grown or was it really because it's danielle — but you can't ever fuck it up, you don't want to mess this up, there's no way you'll let go of the chance god has given you to crawl your way to danielle's life.

"call it puberty hanni, but i swear i've never seen a girl as pretty as danielle before — not as smart and not as kind." you sit up on your bed and look at your friends, minji scrunches her face at you. "again, how sure are you? you don't even know her." she says. you give minji a deadpan look and answer. "do you? that's why i need to make a good impression and get to know her so we can be friends and eventually i can ask her out."

"i do admire you for considering being friends first with her. but hey, i think you've already made a good impression i mean she did approach you, right?" hanni being a good friend for once says. you look at her and shrug. "really?" you ask.

minji rolls her eyes. "you have a fucked up sense of self-esteem huh? she literally said she's stoked to see you because she's heard of you. she's the head of the sports writing and chief editor of the HYBE chronicles. how will she not have such an impression of you?"

you stand up and look at your friends, your back facing your door as you raise your hands. "woah, you mean i have the chance?" you ask your friends, causing them to grimace together. hanni looks at you with disbelief. "of course you have dumbass!" causing minji to laugh.

"we'll support you in your tournament just in case danielle's present there."

the door opens slightly and your friends all look surprised to see the person behind you, you turn around to follow their gazes only to see danielle standing there with the doorknob in her hand. "oh! sorry, i didn't know where youngseo's room was." you stare at her with no words and smile. "it's okay... you'll sleepover in youngseo's room?" you ask, fully turning your body around and blocking your friends' view of danielle.

"yes, we have another project together and i thought it would be a great idea to stay over for the night." danielle answers, smiling at you brightly — your face lightens up, warmth engulfed your cheeks and ears start to burn red. "really? have you eaten dinner yet?" you ask again, tilting your head with a silly smile. danielle shakes her head and giggles. "not yet, i have just arrived." you put a hand on your cheek and look away. "oh okay, the door next to mine is youngseo's room —"

"danielle! what are you doing there? my sis and her annoying friends are there." youngseo exits her room and looks at you with a deadpan expression. danielle nods and waves at your sister. "oh, i thought this was your room." danielle looks back at you and peeks at your friends waving her hand. "bye guys and..." she looks at your again and taps your shoulder. "bye y/n." before leaving and entering your sister's room.

"oh my god is that danielle!?" hanni stands up from her seat and puts her hands on her head with a surprised look on her face. minji laughs and slaps her thighs. you turn around and close the door with a stupid smile, limply making your way to your bed to throw yourself again. "you should be nice to your sister, she's carrying all these interactions on her back." minji says, patting your back.

you breathe heavily, trying to process the situation with the way danielle touched your shoulder. it felt like a feather fell on your way with how soft her fingers were.

you push yourself up with a determined expression. "i have an idea." you propose.

"you'll cook a meal for youngseo and her friend?" hanni asks, following you as you enter inside the kitchen and starts checking for ingredients around the cabinets. minji stands next to hanni, nodding her head. "no, i'll cook meals for us." you correct her and continue rummaging around any drawers or cabinets you see. "but technically because danielle's here. i mean, when did you cook for us anyway?" minji raises her hands and raises her brows.

"don't forget some nights." you grumble and glare at minji as you prefer the ingredients, minji scrunches her face. "reluctantly." she corrects you.

you ignore her and start chopping garlic and opening the stove, placing the pan on the stove to let it heat while the duo takes their time to gossip together at the kitchen diner table.

"i didn't think about writing academic papers being this hard before, i can usually ace them without doing so much." youngseo sighs as she leans on her coffee table with a small grumble, muttering a curse about how writing papers at their age seems to have been more difficult than it did before. lately, their projects have been revolving around writing lab reports and academic papers such as essays and position papers, even manifestos.

and youngseo is smart herself but usually she's more of a science and mathematics smart not writing smart, good thing she met danielle who's known for her writing wits, whether it may be creative writing or not.

"academic writing is like driving school, there's sets of rules you need to follow and it's really hard to master writing but once you get a hang out of it — you'll find yourself looking for the thrill again and again." danielle says, leaning on the table too and giving the younger lee a bright smile.

"oh, by the way — we haven't had dinner yet and i think there's food downstairs. wanna come?" youngseo stands up and rushes to her door with danielle following her. "okay, i don't mind." she smiles and follows youngseo downstairs where they walk past the living room to the kitchen where they see kim minji and pham hanni discussing personal topics as well as you cooking on the kitchen.

"woah why are you three here?" youngseo asks, walking behind minji who remains seated, while hanni follows youngseo with her gaze— danielle stands at the entrance watching the four girls. "your sister's cooking dinner for us and uh, i personally love her cooking." hanni laughs sheepishly and looks at minji who smiles at danielle and offers her a seat. "yes, i think danielle would love her cooking." minji says, danielle smiles at her and shakes her hand.

youngseo looks at you and to the pasta you're making. "i'm gonna remember this." she whispers and takes a seat beside minji, the three girls start a conversation and danielle makes her way to you. "what are you cooking?" she asks, hands behind her as she sways delicately to the melody of nothing, the delicious smell of the food wafts around the place and danielle just couldn't help but take a peek.

"oh vegetables? i love vegetables!" danielle says, you laugh but still have your eyes on the pan and nod at her. "yeah me too but minji hates them." you say, causing her to giggle too.

"i think it looks great and definitely tastes great too." you nod at her and smile, finally turning your head to look at her — it makes her heart flutter, something that feels nice but new, something she was happy to welcome with open arms.

"of course, i made sure it does." you tell her.

"come on minji, how are you almost 20 and still can't eat vegetables?" hanni grumbles as you all start to eat and you serve minji a plate of pasta without some of the vegetables. minji ignores hanni but earns a laughter from youngseo.

after eating dinner, you ask for all of them to leave as you were about to clean the table and plates but danielle insists on staying to help you out — this was a cue for the two of your friends to drag youngseo out of it. "oh come on! what are you doing you two!?" your sister complains as she was being dragged away.

"that was such a nice dinner, i loved it!" danielle says as she helps you take the plates out of the table, you smile at her and feel the way your blood runs hot to your cheeks, causing you to look down to avoid her gaze.

"thanks, i rarely cook here since our mom does most stuff but she's out with dad so — i kind of thought maybe i'll cook again." you tell danielle as you place the plates on the sink, she looks at you with glimmering eyes. "i did hear youngseo say the same thing before and she mentioned how she likes your cooking too."

"my sister is a little tsundere sometimes you know?" you laugh as you tell that to danielle, she giggles and nods her head. "she's so nice though and smart." danielle adds.

danielle helped you in washing the dishes, you talk about your experiences at the table tennis career of yours, what dreams you have for yourself as well as danielle's life as the chief editor of the HYBE chronicles journalism organization, how her journey started and what traits you share in common.

she's pretty spontaneous but likes to plan ahead cause it excites her, she likes vegetables and loves her family so much, she can get a little stubborn and she's always happy, she wants to bring positive vibes to everyone around her.

you tell her a lot about yourself too, your relationship with youngseo, how much your sport means to you and your friends too, how amazing they are even though you'd rather die than tell that to them cause hanni's gonna make fun of you.

"thanks for tonight." danielle gives her brightest smile, and it's almost like you were given the chance to take a peek of the milky way galaxy from her eyes the way her pupils shine bright lights. you couldn't help but smile too, you nod at her and try to keep looking at her eyes. "yeah, thanks too it's not much but i had so much fun." you stare at her for a while before looking away, both of you standing in the middle of the corridor where your room and your sister's room were located.

the lights were turned off already and the only source of lights were the window where the moonlight was present.

once again, danielle gives your shoulder a light tap to get your attention.

you steel yourself before turning around and you're greeted with her face close to yours. "don't tell this to anyone but — if you ever get the chance to compete in japan, let's go on a date, yeah?" danielle whispers and you feel yourself about to crumble to the floor with how close she was, you blink almost too many times to try and wake yourself up from what kind of dream this was but it wasn't working.

"ah, uhm... yeah, sure..." you mutter, still surprised but danielle couldn't help but giggle at your reaction, seeing how flustered you were.

you feel embarrassed but happy too, yes, you're definitely happy — who wouldn't right?

you began to laugh sheepishly and this had danielle laughing too.

"you're so cute," she pauses and reaches for your cheek to pinch it. "see you tomorrow." she continues before leaving and not even waiting for your response because she knows you wouldn't be able to function after what she did.

"i need to win and get to the nationals!" as soon as you enter inside your room you surprise your two friends with your shouting. "oh my god y/n! can you not do this tonight?" hanni grumbles before standing up and grabbing your shoulders. "what's gone into you?" she stares at your face.

"i need to train tomorrow!" you shake hanni's hands off of you. "18 hours practice, yes that's perfect!" you walk around your room whispering encouragement to yourself that had your two friends thinking you're possessed.

"you should cheer on your sister." danielle says as she enters your sister's room. youngseo sighs and rolls her eyes. "she's such a big baby." youngseo mutters before going back to reading her book, danielle laughs and sits next to youngseo, embracing the younger lee in a hug. "oh—! what's gotten into you? did her crazy friends possess you?" youngseo asks, trying to push danielle off of her.

danielle only smiles, not pulling away. "i just think your presence will help her win... i'll accompany you if you want." danielle looks at youngseo with a persuasive smile.

youngseo gives her a deadpan look before speaking. "you like her don't you?"

danielle laughs and shakes her head. "no!"

"really? danielle don't you dare lie to me!"

"i swear."

"dani...

did you really come here to see her?"

danielle pushes youngseo away.

"no!"

"i doubt it."

"well, yeah maybe a little."

"oh come on dani!" youngseo jumps on danielle on her bed, causing the girl to burst into laughters.

"sorry!"

that night made danielle realize that maybe it's not like something or someone has been missing in her life for a long time, it's just that maybe a part of her is looking for that something as an addition to her life — she needed a bit of color, she found that it might be that she have only realized it when she first saw you, it's not on that day you first saw her on the campus after you embarrassed yourself using your friend's account — but it's has been a long time since that fateful day when you handed her a copy of your textbook, you didn't even bother asking her name or telling yours, it's so funny because you don't even remember that day.

ever since then, danielle has been looking out for another day the gods above will tie your strings together again.

and when that time comes, she'll never let your strings go again.

she's been so patient, always cheering out for you from afar, hoping someday you'll eventually notice her and to her surprise — and to yours, that day brought you two together again as funny as it sounds, it was destined to her eyes, it was meant to be.

-it's like the middle of the lecture and both of you are clearly bored

-he's spent the last 10mins trying to get you to look at him using some type of telekinesis (which of course didn't work cuz you were too focused on biting your pencil)

-and you've been scribbling in your notebook(you've been sketching lyney<3)

-suddenly, he decides to text you

-"hey, mon amour, what's up??? :))"

-and you can just feel his gaze on you as you see the notification

-"just... you~" he pulled you into one of the bathroom stalls and held you by the waist, his hot breath against your neck

-"dear archons... i've missed you for these 45 minutes..." he chuckled breathly into your ear, sending shivers down your spine while he smirked against your neck

-he kissed it softly and gently, making you squirm a bit

-soon enough, he was very touchy and very needy, all thanks to you.

I've seen your posts about weird representation of society (regarding the "natural order of things") in xenofiction, especially in lion king, so I wanted to ask:

could you recommend any xenofiction media that has all (or most of the) animal species sapient? Or is the only solution to make just one or two species sapient while the others (especially prey) are plain animals?

Really sorry if you've seen this ask from me before - my account had a weird laggy period when I couldn't send or receive messages and asks, so I don't know if you got the previous one! I just know that now it's fixed so I double all the asks sent haha

Honestly I'm not totally sure! If any 3rd person has some good recommendations for "every being is alive" xenofiction types, feel free to weigh in.

If you want to jump in with me though, I am following the webcomic Africa. It updates every Wednesday. Africa is about a mother Leopard on the verge of a great ecological disaster, the relationship between her children and the animals around her, and the strength of both instinct and choice as the characters face an uncertain future.

Since it's ongoing, I still don't know how it's going to end and can't judge it as a full work! But it's absolutely fascinating and I think the author is doing a fantastic job so far. Bonus points for the way it portrays humans, btw.

No more spoilers though, if you're interested, it's on Webtoons.

(I'm also planning to read Oren's Forge soon. Ask me about it again in a few months over on Bonebabbles and I'll give you my thoughts)

As an aside though, funny you mention it because like... ever since I was a kid I've had a story I want to tell with the premise. It's a scintilla I've kept close to me for well over a decade but haven't done anything official with. So this is actually a theme I've thought about a lot.

It's rare to see it done well though because like... its very premise butts heads with reality. The "natural order" that an animal follows is not something it moralizes. A tiger doesn't have the capacity to think about how fucked up it is to kill to stay alive, the deer doesn't know that if its population isn't controlled it will destroy the forest.

They're animals. They don't HAVE that agency. Your dog does not care about being sterilized. A snake doesn't differentiate between a pinky and an adult mouse except in terms of if it will fit in its mouth. But the minute you put human morality in there... they have the ability to reason, create and agree on the rules of a society, make choices about MORALITY.

If nothing is going to change about their world, you just end up putting human arguments about "natural order" in their mouths and, well... start telling a parable justifying this "natural order."

(Genuine) Does what I'm saying make sense? Animals DON'T rationalize or negotiate. HUMANS do.

So the minute you're approaching a world with that logic, like it or not, you are invoking those "arguments from nature." And you're putting them in a being that is not fully an animal or a human, but an anthropomorphic mix which CAN rationalize but WON'T make an effort to change their world.

(Which is why tbh the best examples i know of are works with a theme of "change.")

OH WAIT I also remember another that's interesting!! Leafy: Hen into the Wild actually has a fascinating take on it. It's not interested in "moralizing" or really being about an animal society. It's a very emotional sort of movie, and it's about joys in adversity, the freedom that choice gives you, how bad things are going to happen and you can never completely prevent them.

INTENSE movie emotionally, the ending will wreck you (especially in the English translation which leaves out a really important theme making it feel abrupt x_x) but it's really good. Check that one out.

OH and also You Are Umasou. That one has more pitfalls imo (it does try to moralize a bit) but it's super unique as a movie. And is about dinosaurs.

Why is the Roche/Ciri ship always only crap for you all?

Hey, i once read a draco x apple fanfic. I have no room to judge anyone's ship and I don't think I ever did that (outside of private conversations). What i am judging is someone ruining the fandom experience for other people. If you really are as upset and hurt by people hating on your ship as you say, I'm sure you understand why people don't like you hating on their ship. (btw it's hilarious that you sent me hate for rorveth and cirys. Literally the only character included here that i even know is Ciri. If you sent me geraskier hate there would at least be context since i actually ship it, but i have absolutely no opinion on those ships you mentioned. I don't even know them) You've been told by others why they are annoyed by your asks and obviously it has no effect on you, so i won't bother repeating what they've already said, but i do occasionally love hearing myself talk so i wil still write a far longer response than i should So this isn't a hate response, it's a love letter to fandom. So here's what made being in a fandom so special to me:

The support.

Fandom to me is, at its core, strangers sharing their excitement, inspiring each other and admiring what other people do. When i started writing i was so self conscious, i couldn't sleep after posting a chapter because I was so anxious. And i received so much support even for works that are really not that great. There's something so wonderful about cheering others on and getting cheered on. That sort of open and heartfelt support is not something you experience in real life and it made some hard times much better for me. It's incredible knowing that people across the globe collaborate, send each other prompts or getting really excited about something someone else did.

2. The possibility to just…not engage in conversations i don't want to be in.

It's so freeing to have the option to block people of just not respond. There's always some sort of controversy or just some takes i don't like. How wonderful that i can just not look at those things

3. Getting to be creative and knowing it makes people happier

Your fic or art isn't brilliant? Who cares. It's so freeing to create something out of love, for people who love the same thing. I started writing for the first time since i was a child because of fandom. I dabbled in creating fanart (and realised the medium isn't for me, which is also great to find out), i wrote poetry (which I never wanted to do) and badly recorded songs (which i felt so self conscious about). Was it all good? Ha, absolutely not. But i got zo try it out and i wouldn't have done that without fandom. There is no external pressure to be good (or if there is pressure from other people to create and be good, there are always a ton of others telling you why this pressure is unfair and should be ignored). There are no grades, no deadlines. Just the love and joy of creating and sharing your creation. Or not sharing them, if that's what you want. Both is fine and that's the point

4. Seeing people of all skill levels share their works

And all of their art is beautiful and meaningful, no matter if they qre a master of their craft or someone who pickef up a pen for the first time to try out this medium

5. Seeing different interpretations

I don't like many of them but it's so interesting to see how others are interpreting something. That can be anything from the question of who's a top to some in depth meta analysis. People enjoy different things and it's so cool to see what they focus on

6. The people in general. I pretty much left the witcher fandom months ago (i tried writing for it again but it was so hard that I gave up) but through it, i met incredible people, some of who have become irreplaceable parts of my life and i am so thankful for fandom for bringing us together like this. When i was in the fandom, i got to know people are so talented, unbelievably creative, kind, funny, supportive and so many other wonderful things (even those i never talked to directly. If you left a comment on something i wrote or made my days brighter with your own creations, you are amazing and i appreciate you a lot)

Basically, fandom for me was an experience that brought me joy and a sense of community. It's on you to seek out the fandom experience you want to have. If you want that experience to be one of bitterness and hate, I'm really sorry for you. But more than anything I'm sorry for the people who you drag into this by harrassing them even after they blocked you. If you want to stew in bitterness over shipping a rarepair, that's your decision. But if other people want to enjoy the fandom in a more joyful way, then that should be their decision too and you don't get to take it away from them and ruin their love. Because ultimately that's what fandom is to me and i treasure the memory of that love more than I value the opinion of someone who apparently takes joy in trying (and hopefully failing) to take that love away

1- My favorite fic of yours - VERY difficult choice, but it's gotta be I don't wanna know I'm not capable. The neurodivergent head canon, the fact that you write Sticky so well, it's just perfect. It's an accurate a creative representation of OCD, and I've reread it countless times already.

3- The best character you've written for- Sticky. Don't get me wrong, you do great writing for all your characters. But something about the way you write Sticky is special, and I'm still mad about how you hurt him in Dr. W Dex! (But I am honored you used my evil science journal idea!)

5- A fic I haven't read yet from you, but I want to - Deep Space Survival Tip #712. I need to read this. I know, I know, it's my fault for not making more time for Wolf359, but...ugh. Know this is at the top of my list because your Wolf359 fics are SO GOOD.

6- Something I remember vividly from reading one of your fics - Does it count if I say all the scenes in After the Beep? The style is so unique with Nicholas and Nathaniel/Curtain leaving voicemail messages and the angst!!!! The hesitation in their voices, the longing, the regret, you can literally hear all the things they're not even saying! 10/10. Another great reread.

9- A fic i'm excited for you updating/posting- Please know I would go insane if you updated either of your executive fics, both Innocent or not, you're not a bet I care to take ( a wonderful gift, thank you btw) because they need to reunite with SQ, and The Door Is Open (Except when you're in jail) because Curtain owes those children an APOLOGY. Note: obviously, take care of yourself, you do not need to add anything to these fics if you don't have time and don't want to, but I would never complain if you did.

Hi! I I just saw your post about having the worst weekend, and I hope responding this quickly isn't creepy.

I just wanted to reassure you that whatever happened isn't indicative of your worth, nor of how people should and do act. However, I totally get feeling like the world is awful and shitty because it so OFTEN is, and sometimes you just need to scream about it without being told why you're wrong.

I really hope this isn't too much, but I discovered aim & ignite a few weeks ago and have never gotten around to leaving a review/message saying how much I've become obsessed with it -- you've filled a decade-and-a-half long itch for well-written Snape daughter fanfic, and you've crafted it so magnificently. The thoughtfulness that has gone into changes to canon, the gradual development of Snape and Ariel's relationship, the realistic treatment of how children would act and how responsible teachers should act -- it's all so, so, good, and a par example of how fanfiction can transcend its original material to stand on its own. All of this is to say that I wanted to tell you explicitly that you've had a positive impact on someone else's life, as something concrete to hold onto when you're feeling shitty.

Lastly, I have to confess that I love aim & ignite so much that I, uh, made (agonized over) a playlist for it?? Or, for Snape and Ariel's relationship in it, rather. A lot of the songs are originally romantic in context but I hope it's obvious that's not how I chose to view them for this lol. I'm so happy and grateful that the story has been something you've been looking for and has met your expectations; I too have searched far and wide for a Fem!Harry story where Snape is the dad and never really found anything that felt like canon. Fluff is great and all, but the best part of Snape is that he is SO BAD at trying to be good. All I see when he's thrust into the role of parent is a dumpster fire that somehow ends with a mildly-adjusted child he would fucking kill for, and vice versa. it's such a fucked-up mess; snape is the catalyst for the events of canon (he spills the beans about the prophecy) and sets this whole plot into motion. I love the idea that he inadvertently does this to his own child. it's like, just SO GOOD.

I bookmarked your playlist when I read this message and have been making my way through it! music is 98.7828% of what inspired me to write this story, so I LOVE when people send me what music the story evokes for them.

I had been reading your WereRoomies asks and noticed that Changbin and Gingerbread?/Autumn?/Pup? Had only been mentioned at most 3 times? And only ever during discussion where Pretty and Kitten were involved

It made me question why, from how far is scrolled, no one was really mentioning Changbin and Ginger much so I went over to read "Finding Comfort In Autumn" (Did I remember the name right?🥲) And I've never felt so giddy and happy after reading a story✨ I enjoyed it so so so much! Now I really want to know why no one seems to talk much about Changbin and Ginger-

I'm about to go read your other Changbin Instalments for WereRoomies so I can see more of the because they're literally so so so cute🥺 Changbinnie being a bottom even though he's an Alpha is undoubtedly odd in a world like that but I just love the concept so much! Same with a top Omega! Their dynamic is somewhat interesting and I want to see how they'd fend in different settings and situations so I'm excited to read more!

(Ps: I saw in an ask the name Gingerbread was mentioned to refer to Y/n from Changbin's story, while also comparing her to someone named Autumn. Autumn, Gingerbread, Ginger are all used to refer to Changbin's girl in WereRoomies (: also sometimes referred to a "spicy/spiciest gingerbread". Gingerbread/ginger comes from, you know, her scent, whereas Autumn is genuinely the name i'd like her to have, because i find the play of "Finding Comfort in Autumn" to be just really cute. since, y'know, Changbin truly found... comfort in Autumn 😭. (i/we refer to Hyunlix's partner as Moss outside of the stories, btw! because of their scent. and just like Autumn, considering they're very genderfluid, i feel like Moss could very well be a name they chose for herself skjdfhskjdsdf).

this ask just made me think that i maybe should add a reference to these in the masterlist. i've been thinking of doing like a character breakdown, but, just like the glossary, it's a work in progress lol.

as for why people don't ask/send stuff about them as the rest... i'm not sure, tbh! i feel like it could be a mix of Changbin being a bottom/more submissive (which i suppose could be something that not a lot of people would be interested in), or, i can't remember who it was, but someone once said that they felt as if Changbin and her were just... doing fine. like, there's not much conflict surrounding them (which, admittedly, is my fault because i just want them to be happy, they've gone through enough 😭), so maybe people don't have as many questions about them.

Finding Comfort in Autumn has such a special place in my heart... exploring the alpha with omega tendencies characteristics in Changbin was so so so much fun, and Changbin's entire journey of self-acceptance makes me feel all warm and fuzzy all the time🥺 so i'm glad you enjoyed it!!

your oc is so fucking cool! divorced to minaman i'm guessing? i LOVE the noise form, that'sso clever! the idea of having a tiny lizzer that he has to hide in a big illusion, that's such a clever + fun idea. also, gecko is a cute asf noise form. the fighting using sigils is SO cool btw, i've done a lot with the idea of sigils myself but the whole concept of tearing out pages to fight is awesome. i love her flaws a lot too btw, most people end up not having ocs with enough flaws

also based as fuck being a union leader. the R.E.A.P.E.R. acronym made me laugh out loud, but man, unions are so underrated. good for them!

Um. Yeah. Minaman divorce 😔 Long story short, they're childhood friends who had a difficult falling out at the end of high school and reunited in the Reaper's Game. Sho is just as vicious and self-centered as he is in canon, and Fable's swept along in his undertow, blaming himself for Sho's actions and feeling a sense of responsibility, as his oldest friend, to put a stop to him. Sho takes this "betrayal" bitterly. He doesn't understand why Fable can't trust him to make things right again, once he's Composer, and everything that's wrong, he can fix. He just needs her to stay out of his way. He will make her if he has to.

I totally agree with you that'd it be cool if twewy designs implied how some characters died! But actually, Fable received their neck scars after they died :)))

Anyways I'm really glad you like the Noise form and the sigil fighting!! The Noise form is kinda close to Megumi's but I'm attached to itty bitty lizard...everyone else got these cool big cat forms and even Higashizawa's sheep Noise form is intimidating, then you've got this little gecko thing that can fit in the palm of your hand. Made to be held gently. Like hotdog.

And yeah I don't think anyone in the Reaper's Game is a very uh. Functioning individual (except maybe Kariya idk) so it's fun to come up with a character's fatal flaws! Fable is a self-depricating doormat who blames themself for things far beyond their control and clings to strict rules of reason to make sense of an unreasonable world and it pairs really well (or really poorly depending on how you see it) with Mina's unpredictable, domineering personally, especially in NEO once they've grown a bit and Mina has to deal with someone who, even in their best of days, really enabled him and let him get away with anything finally put their foot down and tell him to stop being such an insufferable jackass. Wrangling Support Reapers for three years will do that to a person. They're a funny crowd.

Anyways (again) I would totally love to hear about your oc! I haven't seen too many twewy ocs before and I think it's a series that's ripe for making original characters, so I'm really curious to see the kinds of things that other people have come up with :]

i. kind of just recovered from a panic attack. yeah my anxiety is really really awful and the thought of even facing tomorrow, facing life again was threatening enough to spiral me into an attack.

but im not here to talk about that.

i just. wanted to say that despite everything, despite having so many mental issues and not being able to do much about them (mostly due to financial reasons)....i....i have a lot of love in my heart.

yeah it's not at all related to whatever i said before but it actually is. i kind of find it incredible that im still able to love despite going through so much.

if you're reading this, i love you. if you're not reading this, (even if you don't know since you're not reading) i still love you. as long as you've had a positive effect on my life, as long as you've never purposefully hurt me, i love you.

it's not just people btw. i love trees, i love flowers, i love birds, i love ants, i love cats, i love foxes, i love almost all animals (except mosquitoes sorry i have personal enmity against them).

even inanimate objects. i love my plushies. i love my body pillow especially because i can hug it during my attacks to calm down. i love my collection of seashells. i love rice. i love rotis. i love ramen. i love garlic. i love water (this just made me drink some!), i love wind, i love earth and the feel of earth in my hands.

it's hard to say if i love what I'm studying, mostly due to shitty teachers who teach horrible and make me scared of the class. but the material? i love love LOVE it when i study on my own. i just. wish i had a better teacher.

do i love myself? that's an even harder question to answer. because....i simply don't really know who i am. it's hard to love a person when you don't know the person.

but I'll say this: the person residing in my body? they're an absolute badass for going through so much shit and still surviving. once upon a time they couldn't imagine even reaching the age of 16 (depressive reasons). they're still fucked up mentally, but hey, they're 20 now. I'd say I'm damn proud of them making it this far.

i know it's very very hard for them, even now they can't really envision a future. but they've made it this far. so i trust that they'll make it even furthur, and i hope they overcome their crippling fear of asking for help. hey buddy, if you're reading this in future, just remember that it's okay to ask for help ♡ nobody will belittle you or mock you or abandon you for it. and if they do, they weren't worth the time anyway. remember this okay? i love you ♡ (there i said it lol)

anyway, i got sidetracked.

in conclusion, i am so so full of love for EVERYONE and EVERYTHING despite whatever the fuck has happened to me all these years. sometimes i find it confusing, sometimes intriguing. but anyway, it is what it is.

A lot of stuff happens there) so giving you a 800k fic series on top of all the rest seemed a lot you know :') but whenever you want, you know where to find me hehe. There is no rush at all for the snarry rec list!! Take your time beloved!! I agree that rereading all that fic isn’t all that bad of a thing, but omg, it must be so daunting to have that list to go through, even if it’s shorter than you thought it was! I mean, I’m sitting here with 12 pages in my marked for later tab on Ao3, while entirely forgetting to read both the fic I currently have open and the books I have from the library lol, so I can def relate to having a list to read through. Just please don’t feel rushed or even obligated, you have the best recs but really it’s okay if I wait for it!

(but tbh, at this point I’ve read enough snarry that I feel like I could make an actual rec list myself, even if like 90% of my bookmarks have come from the @houseofsnarry discord. I might have to do that. No one has asked for my recs since I totally flubbed that one ask requesting my quiobi recs and I revealed that at the time I wasn’t really reading, but now I read so much more, even if it’s primarily snarry and irl books. Idk. I’ll have to think about it and also wait until I get un-shadowbanned, and also also I’ll have to read a little bit more so I can round out any list like that,,,)

Omg so Diagnosis looks like an absolutely incredible fic 👀 that summary, those tags!! No worries about not remembering anything other than the positive vibes, I’ve loved literally everything you’ve rec’d thus far and I’m sure I’ll love this too!

Feel free to drop the name of that longfic btw 👀👀👀👀 I don’t often go for fics over 150k unless they come highly recommended, but most of the time I do finish them really quickly. I got through Unrestrained by Lizzy00305 in three days, All the Young Dudes by MsKingBean89 in about a week and a half, and, while they’re obv not fic, I did read the first five HP books in 8 days, and then HBP and DH in about a week and a half. It depends on what’s going on irl and how into the fic I am tbch.

Rn it’s taking me forever to get through Transparency by oldesthuntress even though it’s literally my favourite fic of all time only because I have so much going on irl. My fatigue will catch up to me soon enough, and all I’ll be capable of doing (affectionate) soon will be reading and animal crossing, and even if I can’t read it for a little bit, I do have surgery right before Christmas which will mean only reading for a few weeks!

(for what it’s worth, I’m currently planning to save Pacify for after surgery, because tbch I think that’s the perfect read for when I’ll be stuck in bed for two weeks!)

You're an exceptional writer. You're a bit younger than me but have a way with words and flow that suggests you're older than you are and it's always a joy to read your works. Your mind???? You create the funniest stuff. No one else could write your fics like you do. If level infinity was in anyone else's hands it wouldn't hit the same. I've read a good number of your personal rant posts and I just wanna tell you that you are strong and worthy of love and time 💞. You're in those late teen years where you're trying hard to build yourself up for your future and are doing so well despite what life throws at you. Now onto your fics.....whooo weeee buckle in. First, since I've mentioned it many times, Level Infinity. Those round, dynamic characters?? You go girl. After reading a new chapter I'm probably thinking about LI!soobin for days (i have such a crush on him and how you've written him lmfaooo). You're doing so well so far and I can't wait to see what happens next!!

I'm actually gonna dedicate a new paragraph to one of my top 5 soobin fics of all time... *drumroll* "My Pet Bloodsucker". Ask me to describe how much I love this fic and you'll get: "hbsdhjbjhdsbjhsHE'SCUTEsjhbjhsdbjANDPOUTYsbjhsbdj, Witches and vampires hello??? lez goooo, so good" Like gen. One of my fav soobin characterizations (also sub soobin >>>>>>>>>) And their relationship turns so cute. How he starts to care (a lot) about what y/n thinks and when he forgets to drink the blood bags even after his time is up. He's so cute in that fic I love it and the plot is fun and engaging.

So anyways, I'm trying to be what I wish someone said to me when I wrote kpop fics (opposed to just silent reading/liking) and getting to motivation back to write! Because Crow? Pick up Level Infinity I BEG.

You're right when you say England's countryside looks nice! From the few pictures, I've seen it looks very green and lovely overall. It must be a a lot less suffocating than big cities, too, so I very much do understand the appeal. And to answer you're question, I'd very much like to climb up the Macchu Pichu in peru one day, but I'm so out of shape that I'm not sure it will ever be possible—that and I don't even like physical effort to begin with, I just think the view would be beyond this world. I also would like to live abroad, at some point. Somewhere in Europe, not too far from my family and friends. And not necessarily forever either but I've been craving it lately. Tips and Helps For Pming

Hello guys! I'm Mahiro and I'm going to help y'all with the pming stuff as a newbie partner manager! Make sure to read and like thank you!

First I'd like to let you know what is pming?

Pming is about partnering the server you work for with other servers! And eventually helps the server to be known and grow.

1. How do we get hired?

The fastest way to get hired is to join hubs and post an ad. The server I mostly post ad to is discord.gg/pm (nyx) they're very big and active will help you alot.

2. What is the correct way of posting an ad?

I usually design my ads to catch people's attention but tbh it's not the best way to get hired.

Example:

Hire Mahiro as a (free/paid) pm!

5-10+ partners (weekly/monthly)

Only working for sfw nontox servers!

Please have pm chat and luminous Nova bot!

Dm me if interested!

You have to specify how much partners you can give for the server! Recommended is 0+ partners weekly if you are not sure how much you can partner. It depends to you but unlike me I can post 5-20+ partners weekly. It's recommended to stay away from monthly posting as owners will see you inactive.

3. How do we get partners?

It's important to get partners for the server you work for from the time you promised. If you do not post as the time you promised then you will get demoted.

It's highly suggested to not go on server partner manager's dms to ask to partner! Many pms are busy asf and they hate to get dms, you can aswell get roasted as a noob pm since there are just rude pms based from my experience.

You will get ignored or blocked, even I wants ppl to stop from dming me but ofc I never came that far.

In order to get daily/weekly partners you have to create your own portal server.

4. What are portals?

Paid pms and owners mostly go on portals to mass for points plan or paid plans.

5. What do you do in portals and how do we run them?

You can just either create a server or merge with someone's portal. It's recommended to solo your portal than merging, it's just to make the server's thicc yk. It's recommended to have an organized, understandable, and ofc pretty designed server to get additional good reviews.

Mostly to start from portals now, if you advertise your portal have opened, you will get tickets. You use ticket to be able to give personal space for people who want to mass, they send their ads either in cb or non cb (depends if you're in apple u don't need to be in codeblocked) and then they'll start to post the server ads of the servers you work for. After they post you may want to put a checkpoint to avoid scams or steals, after posting you may start to post their ad to the servers you work for. Additional tutorial in my other blog posts! Reblogs and link sharings are also helpful btw!

Once you've created and fully run your own portal of course at first you can't gain invites that's why handpicking is important! But it's all at first, once you've been so long in pming you will be able to guarantee invites just like me

5. What is handpicking?

Actually it's important to handpick although for a server you quit they feel displeased about you quitting because you're handpicking servers it makes them feel that their server is not good enough. But good or no it's still important to handpick, we have our own tastes everyone's a gem remember that. It's recommended to not handpick servers when you're a newbie, accept all hirings you get all you have to handpick is sfw or nsfw/semtox egirl servers etc only the servers moderation type. After so long of pming, you may start to handpick and give more requirements into hiring you, you may quit working for the servers you don't find good(handpicked quits), they can also help your portal to be organized or be able to start gain more invites.

6. How do we gain invites?

You do gain invites by handpicking servers, you may choose an aesthetic server but mostly we get invites by working for big servers (9k-11k members) or simply active servers, but when it comes to the portal it depends to the servers people mass for, if it's a non aesthetic or advertisement server, it's hard to gain invites. You can't handpick people's ads because it's other people's work! But having low invites for them might be blamed for you to so make sure to build a good reputation in servers in order to be well known and gain invites.

7. Paid Pms

What are paid pms tho, they're simply partner managers who have been paid to work for them, this is not a long term work, it's only a short time work but it is highly stressing based in my experience. They are hired for a certain reason like pming to give a certain amount of invites for the server or give partner points for the server (basically just to make partnerships channels thicc/ known ). You may get deadline or date to finish your work but if you can't promise you will have to take down the offer. You also need to be sure how much invites or points you can so that there will be no problems with your paid. I also had a mistake with this, I thought I could give 500 invites but it's really taking me forever, good grief the person who hired me said I can take as long as I want. Being a paid pm is a serious work! You have been paid and that's a big deal so for whatever happens you need to finish your paid

8. How do we not get scammed?

So there's like two types of getting scammed, either get scammed as a pm or get scammed as an owner. Getting scammed as an owner means you paid them first but they didn't do the plan at all. Meanwhile getting scammed as a pm means you've been promised to be paid after work or halfway but did not get paid at all. In order to avoid these scams, you can ask for proofs that the owner paid other people as well. And for you, you might be asked for proofs that you've been paid and finished your plan in order to gain owner's trust. If you don't have yet and is just starting, you may mention "proofs 0/2, I'm new and will need more proofs in the future" and so people will understand you.
