I think i have some pretty simples ones all things considered? And they’re all pretty fluid/all exist at the same time but for these

Chosen: made with they/them in mind -> experiemented with she/they/he -> had a crisis abt it -> she/her at the end

Dark: started we they/he -> she/they at the end

This isn’t really a queer headcanon (maybe?) but i do think theyre soulmates in a “whatever souls are made of, yours and mine are the same (insult)”, which is probably the closest thing i have to a queer headcanon LDNWOODOW.

Which fic has been the hardest to write?

Each fic has its own challenges, but right now, it's probably a tie between Swansong and the Cold Fusion series. And for similar reasons! Both have complex plots - Swansong's is primarily emotional, with Megamind processing complex grief and a broken (and then new) mental link, and Roxanne processing having a roommate going through emotional turmoil, plus some mental stuff of her own...and then Metro Man's whole thing, and holy shit maybe there's still a chance, and mixing hope into the grief mix is just a fucking nightmare for everyone involved, and djf;aldjfa;ldjadflj;afjdj it's a mess. And because it's written in third person limited, rather than omniscient, there's only so much that I can tell readers directly. Which, in a story with so much happening internally, was...extremely frustrating, at times!

Cold Fusion's complexity is more events-based, but in that one I am having to balance the fact that there ARE external plotlines happening against the fact that...the primary focus of those fics is on the characters and their development. Also, for a LONG LONG TIME, I did not actually KNOW what the plot was, I was just sort of winging it, and now I DO know, and it's a lot bigger than I expected it to be? Which I think some people may not like. And on one hand, fuck 'em, I'm writing for me, but on the other hand, I do write fanfiction with my end goal being to share it with people, so my readers' enjoyment is absolutely a thing I have in mind, I'm not JUST writing for me. So, aaaaaaaaaaaa.

I am now also having to grapple with the fact that when I started writing Cold Fusion, many of my headcanons were different from what they are now. I was originally very set on it being canon-compliant, on ONLY working with things we knew from the source material and not doing my own worldbuilding more than was absolutely necessary. And then I fell into a depression hole for like 3 or 4 years and could barely force myself to write at all, and when I finally came blasting out of that hole on the Wellbutrin-fueled jet pack I titled Dive, the amount I cared about "canon compliant" had plummeted to pretty much zero. Writing Swansong helped with that, I think -- I had basically been writing nothing but Cold Fusion for AGES, and then Ramendobe slapped me in the face with that prompt, and I discovered that writing universe alterations was a lot of fun! And then Dive punted my desire to stay canon-compliant into the sun. So now, rewriting Cold Fusion as I post it to AO3, I am working with characters who are different from the way I now write them in other fics. I'm bringing some of my newer headcanons into that universe for shits and giggles, but still. It's an odd feeling.

and everything emptying into white was originally just some tags I had put on an ask from another friend of mine about Megamind purring, and I couldn't stop thinking about them and that day at work just SUCKED ASS and so I copied and pasted them into an AO3 draft on my phone at work and churned that out over the course of my lunch break. And then added a bunch to it during the next couple days.

How I feel about this character: You really. You really just going to ask me this one. Like we literally had to create another alternate universe to make up for the shit we did to those two.)

My non-romantic OTP for this character: Jess/Eddie. Give me more Jess and Eddie things. Always give me more Jess and Eddie things. (Also Shadow. OBVIOUSLY. I MISS THEIR BANTER. SO MUCH.)

My unpopular opinion about this character: I know that the Jess is Ace headcanon is really popular, and I love it, you know as an ace who writes Jessica Rabbit, I love this headcanon, and I hold it dearly to my heart...but also it is not my headcanon, Jess is pan, she was created with a very specific purpose and being pan fits with how she was designed. I love your headcanon very much please keep it I love Jess as an ace icon, mine just isn't. ><

One thing I wish would happen / had happened with this character in canon: ...in the movie? Honestly, I don't want changes to movie Jess. She's great. That was an excellent movie. I would not add anything to that. The book is its own special form of.... It's a weird fucking book, y'all. Not bad, just. Weird. Good? Subjectively? Disney kept...names, mostly, and the barest of bare concepts (Jess is still humanoid, Roger is still a rabbit, Herman is still a baby, and Eddie is still a detective) and that is about it the plot is entirely different the book is about finding out who killed Roger and there is no Judge Doom it is so wild but I don't...know if...I would change it...either? I'd have to reread the book to think of things to change. (JESS DESERVES BETTER IN THE BOOK, TOO, ACTUALLY.) And honestly...I don't really - like I'd love more WFRR stuff but I don't think...I don't think it would capture what the original did. So I actually...don't have an answer for this one. Whoops?

My OTP: Don't make me choose, I literally have one Jess funko pop between Scully and Roger and another (different) Jessica figurine between Scully and Regina (and yes I guess this means Scully gets both of them, don't judge me) like. Don't make me choose between them. (I love Jess/Roger, but it's Jess/Regina and Jess/Scully I have a hard time choosing between.)

My OT3: ...did I have an OT3 for Jess? ...I don't really think...the ships I mentioned above...have OT3 potential. Roger is way too jealous for that (Jess could share Roger; Roger couldn't share Jess). I mean. OT3 doesn't have to be sexual in nature, so then, like, Roger/Jess/Eddie would be...yeah? Kind of? (But also I'm feeling intrigued by the idea of a Jess/Alana/Scully thing because like. There's potential in that. Would have smoothed out some things. I could bring Haruko back, but that's a bad plan. You know what, actually, Miyo and Jess could easily be open to a third person. Can I just say I don't know? Because I don't know.

One last set of thoughts on miner!Silco

There is one more thing I wanted to mention about miner!Silco.

1.) I general while I personally have fun obsessing over canon details and "make as much match as possible!!!" I do think that there is limited value in fandom wankery and obsessing over it, especially when it comes to writing fanfic as opposed to having meta debates with other people.

2.) I do think reading writer or actor input is fun, but part of me does consider "cheating" to some extent. I think the work should stand on its own and plenty of those things can change later, different people on the project can have different opinions etc. Overall I think what ends up on screen always trumps what somebody said in some interview and if there is limited value in obsessively matching every little detail that ended up on screen or in extended works, I think there is even less value in matching some writer's idea.

For example, Amanda has hinted several times that Caitlyn was plenty romantically active before meeting Vi and I'm very much "headcanon accepted", because I personally believed in that anyway (one of my first "activities" in the fandom was whining how I hated the whole "sexual awaking" memes about the CaitVi brothel scenes and that it made no sense for Cait's character as she had been drawn so far to have been clueless about her sexuality). But if I was invested in let's say asexual or autistic or socially awkward or virginal Cait I would have been all for just ignoring that statement. I'm happy to include it in my perception of the character, because it gels with my perception of the character I had anyway.

When it comes to miner!Silco respectively child!laborer!Silco it's not as clean cut.

I'm not sure if I ever would have come to it naturally? I definitely don't think I was there yet after Act 1. There is definitely a world where Act 2/3 Silco reads quite middle class and if you wanted to explain his line to Finn (again if you even care about making all things match) you could still envision him as a more middle-class guy who went down to the mines to convert/recruit people to the revolution.

His outfit in the drowning flashback reads a little bit more potentially miner/miner-roots to me and I don't think that anything that made it on screen reads heavily suggests child laborer.

The reason why I'm at least open to this head canon is:

1.) I do quite like Silco and child laborer is a tragic as fuck backstory and gives a lot of "pity points" in his favor. Which actually is one of the reasons why I would never force that headcanon on others. Like if you hate Silco and see everything about him as bad then "you can't be pissy at a poor abused and traumatized kid from the mines!" is a pretty brutal restriction on your meta/your view on seeing the series. But for me personally it gives his character an extra tragic note and gives some interesting nuance to the "children working in factories". That he might see that as "well, still better than what happened to me". And just in general it might give explanations or again nuance for a lot of his quirks (why is he such an atypical parent, why does he care about fine things, because he was used to them or because they are so completely special and unusual to him? why is he so brutal/unforgiving/go hard on things maybe because he comes from a very brutal background?)

Like on the tragic background scale only "sexually abused as a child" and "neurodivergent to the point of not functioning" are maybe higher in regards to "okay, you get a moral free pass for like 90% of your actions".

2.) In my view on the world, coming from the mines and becoming a revolutionary is definitely (even) better/more honorable than being middle class and "going down to free the slaves". Because the achievement to overcome those personal obstacles, to still find time and educate yourself and think big picture in such adversarial circumstances when you would most likely not have received that much education along those lines and might have been exhausted from work, that in my eyes takes somebody who is truly extraordinary.

So I'm more tempted towards accepting miner!Silco because in my value system it is a better/more glorious/more heroic background and so on some level it is more glamorous even as "growing up in dirt and sludge and abuse" background isn't glamorous in the slightest. The background isn't romantic/glamorous but that Silco might rise to overcome it is.

But again, I don't blame anyone for not going "headcanon accepted" particularly if they dislike Silco or if he just reads differently to you (or if you don't share my romantic views about overcoming huge adversity and freeing yourself and your direct peers as opposed to freeing the ones less fortunate). And I wouldn't like fall over in horror if in season 2 they backtrack on what Amanda said and a scene makes on screen that suggests that he had a relatively happy and sheltered home life before becoming a revolutionary or that he had more a "wild and free street kids in the Lanes" rather than "back breaking child laborer". If that made it on screen, I would just absorb that into my perception of him.

So I definitely see it more as "something fun to play around with" and I do think that anybody who is quite skeptical and hasn't really gone beyond "Silco interacted with the mines at some point in some way due to the Finn line" is being very sensible.

I'm still processing the 'Solitude of the 4 Leaf Clover' comic and oh man. OH man. Spoilerish ahead.

1. I had mention of 'luck walks' in one story I have not finished yet. So its so cooooool that was in the comic. Ahhhhh.

2. I feel so betrayed Fethry was avoiding him and Ludwig didn't know he was gone for 4 months like JAYSUS.

TALE OF TWO POES

These are just my headcanons for my 87/Comic Poe and my 2017 Poe. I’m trying to write this before the new ep comes because I wanna see how close my headcanons are to the real one. Ahhhhh.

So for my 87/Comic universe starts out with these basic things.

-Him and Magica are twins.

-Actually a pretty nice and chill guy

-Can’t actually use magic but really, really wants to. He has a wealth of knowledge when it comes to magical items and spells, he just can’t use or summon any magic himself. He learns how to work around this problem, though. Very cleverly. He even fooled Eldritch Academy for years. Ha.

-For being chill, he sure likes poking his nose in things and being a little troublemaker. Magica can tell Poe, “Hey, make sure Gladstone doesn’t do this thing,” and then when Gladstone does that very thing, Poe is half heartedly just “No. Don’t. Stop.” like that Willy Wonka meme. 

-Poe has a lot of “kid at heart” energy, while Magica is the more serious, adultier-adult one.

- I hint that he is trans. Comments like about him and his sister’s different personalities like “Hard to believe we’re from the same egg.” and “That old dress of mine looks better on you.” But not out right saying it.  Wouldn’t it be just his luck when he was turned into a crow he was turned into a male crow and when he was changed back he just happened to be changed back male and was like, “This is all going according to plan.”  Though out of all the villains I can see Merlock being a misgendering prick. Calling Poe She-lock and He-Witch. What an asshole. 

-Gladstone and Poe had become good friends even before Poe is reverted back to his original duck form.

-Poe is Minima’s dad, but there is some drama regarding the entire thing I hope to cover in a story I’m writing. (I’m really close to finishing that one.)

• The two of you formally meet after you and Poppy have that supposed truce, and whilst you have seen Veronica before, seeing her close up was a different experience entirely. She's drop dead gorgeous, you can't help but admit and you understand why she's top three alongside Poppy and Chloe because they're all pretty.

• Veronica is much more social than Poppy and Chloe, she's more friendly and actually attempts to befriend you. This is because she doesn't really care if Poppy gets angry, she's got her own platform so she's not scared to make new friends and she knows Poppy's not going to do anything to her.

• If either of you is having a bad day, expect a lot of memes to be sent, some so obscure that it actually makes you feel better. There's also the fact that if you have spare time or if you're not doing anything the other gets food and drinks from the cafe and the two of you just talk to release stress.

• Veronica's instagram is quickly taken over by you, where it's almost always accompanied by #squadgoals and you just laugh because you didn't really think that you would be friends with her. Not because she wasn't nice or anything, just that she looked so intimidating when you first met. When you tell her about your first impressions she just laughs it off and tells you that she thought you were cute.

• You're confused because is she flirting??? The two of you actually become really close and the whole school notices, a few people start to assume that you're dating but they don't say anything.

• The two of you really like each other, but both of you are oblivious until Poppy and Chloe point it out by pulling you away to give you the talk. Both look intimidating as fuck, and you're highkey scared. "What the fuck is happening between you and Veronica? I swear if you try to hurt her you can kiss Belvoire goodbye." Poppy says whilst Chloe nods her head in agreement.

• You're confused because you and Veronica are just friends, until it clicks. 'Holy shit, am I into Veronica?' you think. (Da doy idiot, everyone thought it was obvious)

• When you finally admit it Poppy and Chloe, you don't notice it but Poppy sort of has a disappointed look. (I know this is for Veronica but I wanted Poppy to be sad because she could've have tried harder to befriend MC)

• "Holy shit, I like Veronica! Can you guys help me? I don't know if she likes me or not." you say and Poppy and Chloe just roll their eyes as they begrudgingly agree.

• Cue Poppy and Chloe being the worst wing women, Veronica gets more confused because what is going on?? Like why are the three of you acting so weird.

• You're about to give up because it looks like Veronica doesn't like you that way. That is until you and the top three girls of Belvoire go clubbing. Veronica notices that you were dancing with another person too close for her comfort, and she's immediately annoyed. She quickly pulls you towards her and glares at the other person who gets the message and leaves you alone.

• You're confused until you see the silent fury in Veronica's eyes. "Jealous V?" you tease and her eyes narrow as she kisses you. "I don't like seeing you with other people. Be mine?" she says and you're left flustered because you genuinely didn't think that she liked you.

• That's how you start dating, and because of this you actually get closer to Poppy and Chloe. The four of you become a force to be reckoned with, and this is because all of you actually become really close and you learn that Poppy and Chloe can actually be sweet when they want to be. All three of them have a soft spot for animals, so the four of you are always seen at the animal shelter volunteering.

• Veronica adores taking pictures of you and posting it on her socials because she wants to show you off. Everyone is confused because are the two of you dating or not? It's kept a secret until someone snaps a photo of you and Veronica kissing.

• You become well known on campus as the laid back couple, who genuinely just have fun no matter what they're doing.

• Be prepared to be in front of the camera, Veronica drags you to do tiktoks with her and you just roll your eyes because you're whipped and you're not complaining if it means that you see Veronica dance.

• She absolutely adores giving you her clothes to wear, especially if her clothes are a bit bigger on you than they are for her. She melts when she sees you and her story is filled by her fawning over how cute you look.

Hello and welcome

This post is going to be long and detailed, but here’s the gist:

I want to create a blog that will serve as a collection of Patton content in which he's portrayed as the extremely interesting character that he is. This includes angst, character studies, theories, discussions of gray morality, etc, etc. Also, I personally heavily identify with Patton, and whenever I see content of him being absolutely feral? Incredibly cathartic. I just think it’s neat. So, this is a blog for Patton content that presents him as more than the “innocent soft little puffball” he tends to be percieved as in the fandom. And, to be honest, more than anything I just want to inspire as many people as possible to join me in my #LetPattonSayFuck agenda. Let him do it. He deserves it.

screams into the void - I have massive duplicate anxiety because once someone interacted with me on an original character using colin’s face claim. Okay. Sure. Fine. Whatever. Didn’t really vibe with them, was kinda creeped out - just something didn’t sit right and they always sent me asks and prompts that just kind of .. I don’t even know how to explain it lmao.. Well they ended up making a Killian about two weeks after they had been following me on their other blog. And literally their post about it was like ‘wanna write a popular character like taylor at (insert old url) so here goes hook!!” and people pointed it out to me and I was like, that’s weird. but, hey, no harm no foul. I didn’t follow their Killian, but I did let them continue following me on their original character. After a while some mutuals who followed both their blog and mine, started dropping links to icons and gifs that they had stolen from me. Stuff that I had made. I confronted them about it and because I’m a nice person, I let it go after our conversation and didn’t block them. (oh sweet honey child). IT GOT INSANE MARA - ABSOLUTELY INSANE. 

I’d make a verse and like bam two days later they would have the same one. They started taking headcanons of mine claiming they had read the book and it was just a general thought so (me being the petty 24 year old that I was - in my defense they were older than me lol) started referencing random NPCs from my imagination and acting like they were in barrie canon. Like I wrote meta about them and referenced the book and was literally just pulling stuff out of my ass. THEY STARTED USING THE SAME FUCKING CHARACTERS, I WAS SCREAMING. The last straw was they actually had the balls to copy a reply from my blog, change a few sentences in each paragraph and wrote it with a different character than who my starter was originally for.

I .. am ashamed to say it... threw hands. I did not handle it well. I confronted them over skype (oh skype. the good ol days) and they admitted to everything and played the victim by saying it wasn’t fair that I had the writing partners I did etc and that they just wanted to be able to write like I did, but they weren’t sure how to go about it and were afraid they’d just look dumb. Flattery meant to hide the fact they were straight up stealing. I blocked them on all of my accounts, changed my Killian blog so you could no longer right click to copy/paste text or save icons or gifs or anything like that, moved blogs and urls and went full on exclusive with people that I knew didn’t write with them because I didn’t even want to be seen on their dash. The fallout was.. insane. rpc shitstorm 2015-2016 honestly. People broke into these tribes of like ‘dont steal thats gross’ and ‘its roleplay your meta and stuff isnt your own let it go’ .  I honestly laugh about it now because there was so much drama all because someone literally couldn’t use their own damn brain to think for themselves.

So  now - oof. I stay clear of duplicates. I obviously have no ownership of Killian/Captain Hook and everyone is allowed to write who they wish ( and honestly, mate .. I applaud your muse choice)- but I will not allow those I do not know to follow me. Actually in all of my time here, I’ve only ever made friends with three duplicates. One I lost track of after I moved blogs and the two others are either completely inactive or on a hiatus (i miss you tabby !! i love you charlie!!). I am hyper aware of what is canon and what is my brain child and I’d be a nervous wreck if I actually had another duplicate that I didn’t know well and trust following me again. So I usually assume other Hooks feel the same way, and I stay in my lane. I allow some relaxation of this practice when it comes to multis - however, if Killian/Captain Hook is their only pirate muse/once upon a time character - I will not follow. And if someone decides to make a Hook after following me I will not follow and if a multi reblogs something from my blog and doesn’t have the brains to even pretend like they weren’t skulking around by going to the source - i hardblock. Life is too short. I don’t have time to worry about whether people are or are not creative.

I blame @fluffynexu ‘s amazing tomato worldbuilding posts,  reading them when I went looking for “canon” lore one day for the rp is what got me started down that rabbithole (it’s awesome and if you haven’t already you should totally go check hers out too :DD), I had a “fuck you then canon I’ll do it myself too >:L” moment and once I started I couldn’t stop until I’d crapped out literally over 20k words on the subject *whispering* thank you LOL)

zephyrverse au bonus oneshots - 4,537 (stuff I wrote to fill in time gaps or “just cause I had a plot bunny”, relating to mine and k-christine’s zephyrverse au rp. None of these will likely be posted publicly, but they still deserve to be counted as words I wrote this year :’D

As you can see, most of my “muse” this year came from sporadic oneshots :’D The Ahaszaai twins also properly plot-bunnied their way into my brain in late 2019 and haven’t stopped making a nuisance of themselves the whole fucking year. Every time I tried to carry on with a chapter, one of the two of them would pop up like “Nooo write about ME! pay attention to ME!” - Yes, Ni’kasi, I will get to you this year, I promise XD

New Things I Tried:

Just Writing. Not worrying about whether “it wasn’t part of the next chapter” or “it comes from a part in the story that I’m nowhere near close to posting yet”. If I felt like writing something, or for a specific pairing/feeling/scene, whatever. I wrote until I ran outta muse juice. Yeah, it meant I didn’t technically “finish” anything this year BUT - the important thing is I wrote stuff. and that’s all that really matters, eh? :’D

Polyam ships! May not seem like a big deal but I spent a long time talking myself out of them because of internalised toxic monogamy and finally saying “you know what, fuck it! I can ship three or more people together and it can still be a perfectly wholesome, healthy and loving relationship and that’s okay” was a BIG thing for me this year.

Dialogue Scripts: which I didn’t count as wordcount because really it’s just word vomit of general tone/inflection and dialogue that I came up with right before falling asleep which I didn’t want to lose. Basically, if an exchange or a particularly punchy or moving line of dialogue popped into my brain but I wasn’t ready to write the whole scene that it fit into out, but didn’t want to forget the line(s). I wrote it out in movie script/script-style roleplay fashion e.g. Character’s Name: (emotion, hand gestures etc.) [Dialogue here] and so on. I know this is probably a well known trick of the trade, but I never took it seriously until this year. Seriously, do it. It’s great.

Favorite Thing I Wrote:

Hmmm, a snippet for Andronikos/Ni’kasi that I started this week which isn’t posted yet (saving it for this week’s Six Sentence Sunday so look out for it! :D) was pretty fun to work on, I love their dynamic and Kas is suprisingly fun to write for.

Also the Aria/Vano proposal scene that I posted a snippet for the week before last. I’m having great fun with that scene, and I really enjoy putting a non-serious spin on the classic “proposal scene” tropes. Can’t wait to finish it, though it may be a while before the full one goes up on AO3, as it depends whether it ends up fitting in as part of the mainfic or as an additional oneshot

And I have a D’leah/Kissai oneshot that I need to give another once-over before I finally yeet it onto AO3 and Tumblr for you guys to see :’D

Favorite Fic I Read:

@sleepswithvillains Eleanora/Quinn fic, Helplessly Hoping. I’m horribly behind on chapters and I gotta catch up and read the finale this week, but it’s been a helluva great ride and I’ve thoroughly enjoyed the story! <3

Also The Invitation collab with @tishinada featuring Zas and Fiona had me squealing, I can’t wait to catch up on HH and see more of these two, they’re adorable ;-; @a-muirehen​ ‘s Relu/Merkara series of course! I’m a complete sucker for (friends to lovers to in Ariano’s case but yea pfpfpf) enemies to lovers ships and these two are just so good, I am on the edge of my seat every time we get a new snippet for them, ngl (grimace emoji) @darth-bagel ‘s Sylvas/Graz’zt and Sylvas/Liz/Rilfaen snippets which they’ve been spoiling me with on Discord @mercurypilgrim ‘s Ven’fir/Quinn AU oneshots, Cloudbank (Western was a particular favourite, but all are very good!) and of course @rainofaugustsith ‘s Lana/Viri updates are always fantastic, some personal favourites from this year were Almost There & Memory of Healing :3 (I totally still go back to read Commander & Advisor too sometimes, getting to see Viri be a little diabolical and messing with “MiNiSTeR LoRMaN!” was and still is my favourite thing XD)

If I’ve left you out I’m sorry!! These were the ones that stuck out in my memory, but I’ve loved everyone’s writing this year, it’s been great :3

Writing Goals:

to actually finish and post chapter 8 & 9 of Creeping Shadows. Then we’ll get to the meat and potatoes of the story and maybe Aria will stop being a brat and fighting me every time I try to stick to a semi-regular update schedule Get off my butt, finalise the name and get started on Ni’kasi’s part of the Subterfugeverse story. Maybe run the updates in-tandem with Creeping Shadows but idk if I want to wait till after CS is done before I start posting Kas’s side, or do them side-by-side yet, we’ll see ;) Keep writing! I know better than to pressure myself by setting a specific word count goal, that’s never worked well in the past

At least 2 chapters of each of the works mentioned above would be great though, more would be better! We’ll see how I go

honestly, to everybody in the fandom I’ve met this year. Anybody that I follow, thank you for being there and engaging with me and/or posting amazing content for me to look at! I came over from deviantART where the SWTOR fandom is incredibly small and generally quite inactive and the contrast since moving over here has been incredibly uplifting. I very nearly cancelled Creeping Shadows and stopped posting fic for my SWTORverse altogether because I got next to no engagement on dA and it was very disheartening to the point where I felt I could enjoy the game and the rp partners I had, but the solo projects I’d put so much thought, time and love into already weren’t worth continuing. You guys took that spark and kept it going and I really don’t have enough words to say how grateful I am for that. Even if I haven’t published much this year, making posts on this tumblr, interacting with everyone and working on lore, plot points and so on for Subterfugeverse has kept me going through the Hellish Year of Nightmares that was 2020 <3

Tsukishima x Tadashi x Gogo: TsukkiYamaGo

- The Basic Background: I’m a first year student at Karasuno and from Kitagawa First along with Nozomi Watabe, the Girl’s Team Libero. We’ve been friends for so long we kind of function as the same person sometimes. Since we’ve also been playing volleyball for just as long it makes us Something on the court. Because we went to Kita we’ve possibly had classes with Kageyama, Kindachi, and Kunimi. My personality has things in common with Kunimi so I imagine were were friends and this brought Kindachi into my friends group. Since I’m a Setter (for the pout, perceptiveness, strategy, and tendency to enjoy pulling the string) I did totally did some pick up games with Kindachi and Kunimi because sometimes a person just wants to get a toss they can hit. Nozomi and I both knew were were walking into Something for the Karasuno Girls Team but we still made that call.

- Tsukishima, Yamaguchi, and I are all in the same class first year. Because I selected the college prep course I knew I wouldn’t share classes with Nozomi but it is still a total bummer. I’m at a new school, kind of introverted, and sort of on my own in class because she’s not there. This should, in theory, make me pay attention in class but it absolutely does nothing of the sort.

- If I reached out to someone first it would be Tadashi. One of those “Introverts Unite” kinds of things because maybe we can at least Exist near each other. I was used as the person to split up talkative kids in school and here is no different.

- Tsukishima and I do that thing that cats do where they circle each other while deciding if they want to coexist or slap each other. We’re both sarcastic piles of salts so we’ve got to figure out how that is going to meld together. I’m also delightfully bitch on top of this and am always ready to throw down at a moment's notice. If anything, we probably get along too well while shittalking other people.

- Before the Saturday First Year’s Game for the Guys I find out they play volleyball. There’s some actual apologizing because wow they have the King of the Court. Between my own irritation at Kageyama for being so Kingly (Part of being the Control Tower is Communication) and hearing even more details from Kindachi and Kunimi...I’m just so unhappy. This school doesn’t have an Oikawa to carry through the year either.

- I hide behind Yams a lot in class so the teacher forgets I exist with how quiet I am. If I could change it up to sit behind Tsukishima I would. After meeting the Girl’s Team, my free, and not so free moments, become trying to figure out how to make this team workable? There has to be something to do with what we have to be better.

- A lot of our original Just Us interactions outside of school tend to involve notes and homework. Sometimes I miss things in class or I need extra explanation for math so Yamaguchi helps me. Tsukishima, having nothing better to do, tends to show up with him to snark while helping. However, I won’t study with them because I’m very much a solitary studying kind of person.

- Eventually we start hanging out more and more without homework or class as the excuse. Sometimes it is the three of us watching movies, listening to movies, or just kind of moving around town. Other times, Yamaguchi and I throw a volleyball around while talking with Tsukishima sitting nearby and doing his own thing. Volleyball takes front and center more after Interhigh. The girl's team did way better but they lost out in the end. So, I double down practicing with the team and on my own. This carries over to a lot of practices with those two and occasionally Nozomi. I have a strong belief that everyone should be rock solid at receiving and as someone with a pretty great serve I openly admit to targeting Middle Blockers. It is something I really encourage Tadashi to learn because "A pinch-serving, Middle Blocker screams 'Target me!' if they need a person to spike at."

- A big note from Interhigh, though, is the guys actually saw me cry for the first time. I'm so frustrated at working so hard and still losing that it turns into angry, frustrated tears rolling down my cheeks. Nozomi and I are both just seething at losing to Niiyama because we were hellbent that this would be the time we went to Nationals. The past three years was playing second fiddle to Shiratorizawa Junior and now we've got Niiyama standing in our way.

- The first thing that should be a Clue about what is building up is very much the first time I slip up and call Tsukishima "Tsukki". I'm perceptive enough to have noticed that it is very much a Yamaguchi for Tsukishima Nickname and not a "For everyone" Nickname. I go  to apologize for my slipup. However, I actually get that it is okay. Tsukishima admits he doesn't mind hearing that name from me. Should be pointed out that I turn fucking scarlet because I blush at any major emotion. Yamaguchi also isn't annoyed at me using that nickname.

- I can also see Yams and I falling into a habit of being touchy with each other. When given the chance we sit close together we just do. We aren't exactly touch starved but there is something so reassuring to both of us. It goes from slight brushes to being draped around each other more or less. Sometimes Tsukishima is slightly pulled into things. We'll lean against him while animatedly talking in front of him or just watching something.

- These should be like Giant Obvious Hints that we are all clearly getting to be more than friends. It goes directly over the top of my head. Honestly, all three of us missing such hints feels like an ongoing theme for the three of us. For a perceptive trio of people we really are not picking up each other's hints.

- At some point I admit that they are like Nozomi to me in that they are don't count as "People". I'm very introverted by nature so there are very few people who don't drain me. It is a huge thing when someone doesn't tire me out let along finding two people who don't tire me out at the same time is gold.

- Since I'm a storyteller by nature I start to let it slip to them that I enjoy writing a lot and even want to make a possible podcast telling stories. Tsukki teases me because that is just how Tsukki communicates with people. But, I also see him sending me links later that night for microphones and headphones that would be great to start with. Yams is like 500% supportive from the get go. I tease them about how they should join me. We can all banter together, especially when Tsukki and I riff off each other so well.

- Summer is training for all of us and our time spent together is honestly trying to speed through summer homework. Sometimes it becomes more talking to each other over video calls or text than truly getting to see each other. I do make it a point to ask Yams about learning the Jump Float. I've got a regular jump serve but I need something extra for the next time I see Niiyama. I also Tsukki about blocking. Even if my team as a whole depends more on receiving than straight blocking there has to be something I can do.

- Sometimes before this I feel like it comes out that I have a couple of Mental Illnesses (and I headcanon as Yams having Anxiety and Depression as well) so like sometimes we are just both coping together. I also have a very poor reaction to "Fight or Flight" because I literally turned it into "Fight or Fight". It means I jump straight to arguing or spinning on my heel while swinging. Also, tears. I could see Tsukki originally being an ass about it until it quickly sinks in that this is actually a very serious thing. I could see both of them getting kind of protective over me because of these and I'm just as protective over them.

- Us actually getting together probably comes in the Exhilaration of both of us getting to go to the Spring Tournament to Represent Miyagi. There is something about doing the Impossible on top of Pure Exhaustion that just drops all sense of filters. It kind of comes out that hey we all kind of like each other as more than friends probably during a like 2am video call that night. Tsukki acts like he totally knew what was going on the entire time and was waiting on us to catch up. I admit I thought I was just misreading things a lot. Yamaguchi is probably the most together and we realize this is a thing. How do three people date? Well, that's something we're going to figure out.

- A lot of our dates are probably to museums or to the planetarium with cute cafe visits after. Tsukki's love of sweets, and mine too, mean we've been to a lot of cafes together. It is just like one of our Things.

- I am a caffeine fiend so sometimes I bring everyone coffee or one of them surprises us. Kei Tsukishima is weak for super sugary Starbucks style drinks and nothing will change my mind. Yamaguchi teases us about how much we love them. But, I will also drink coffee with two creams if it is good coffee.

- Tsukki blames Tadashi and I for the "Lame" Hobbies he picks up. My phone games expand to include the two of them so I have partners for things. Tsukki is fond of the quiz and stratgey games so we kind of get way too competative. Tadashi already pulled him into playing Pokemon but I double that need to actually play. Tsukki teases me, and to a lesser degree Tadashi, for reading fanfiction until a series he loved ended poorly. Guess who got really into Fix-It fics after that?

- I bitch and moan to Tsukki about “Playing volleyball with glasses *sucks* like. We get such ugly goggles to keep from shattering glasses.”

- Tadashi, and Tsukki who would die before saying it, thinks it is so cute when I argue up at him. I have to fully tilt my head back to make eye contact but that has never stopped me. In fact, Tsukki is a total dick about me being way, way shorter than him. Honestly, I look like an angry Porg when I argue with him. That being said, at concerts he works to get us seats where I can see.

- Yams has a picture of Tsukki and I flipping him off when he told us we look "Cute" with our sports goggles when playing. Even if we both found "cool" designs we still don't like them. But, we're also both smart enough to know that taking a volleyball to the face can crack contacts. 

- I told Nozomi about us but we otherwise were just like, "People can find out when they find out." and that's going to take a while. None of us are okay with PDA beyond like hugs or handholding. It's also not something out of the ordinary with Yams and I by this point. Yeah, I'm prickly about being touched unless asked but I'm also pretty touch oriented when I've given someone the go ahead. I also get lost easily, especially when paying more attention to my phone, or get super anxious in crowds and touch calms me down. 

- Akiteru nearly cried when he realized Tsukki had two partners. He cried when he realized Tsukki finally got along with a team and made a friend beyond Tadashi. Him dating Tadashi wasn't unexpected but the fact they're both dating me just causes him to have pride at coming out of shell to date people.

- Tadashi and I are flavors of nonbinary so we totally trades clothes with each other that fits sometimes. I love his hoodies and he gets my skirts or dresses sometimes. Makeup is a little out of my league beyond the basics but I could see him taking to way easier. I paint his nails a lot and introduce him to the base and top coats. I also totally braid his hair and put cute clips in it. We trade body sprays too. Tsukki glares at people who think of saying things to us.

yea i actually headcanon that they met in college and were kinda happy acquaintances and so when tom is like leon this is my friend tae :) tae and leon r like the spiderman pointing meme at each other hjksjd. they get along bc they’re like wildly different in terms of personality & temperament but they have a lot of similar values. leon is actually six golden retrievers stacked inside a person’s body and tae is cool and emo (contradictory ik) so its kind of another case of my obsession w/ opposite personalities balancing each other out. yeah long answer short they get along

23. Do you have any post-game headcanons, either for your own MC or the other characters?:

SO MANY THIS BOOK LIVES IN MY HEAD RENT FREE... sometimes i indulge in polyam andy/tom/leon thoughts because gee andy how come ur mom lets you have TWO boyfriends !!! its bc hes the best and its what he deserves. tae is getting a degree in archaeology post ilitw and once he graduates my headcanon is that he goes full time into monster hunting/protecting against the power & trying to find a way to free noah with ava & connor

which also leads into headcanon 2 but more fun which is where when they announced no it lives 3 my brain was like no <3 and i ended up concocting an elaborate au where everyone’s lives kinda halt direction wise and it focuses on that monster hunting group connor & jocelyn were putting together at the end of ilb, so the gang from both it lives books make a return & get mentored by han & will lyons, monster hunter ocs of mine and @yeehawgame4ever . han is less enthusiastic about adopting 15-ish young adults. will is like o my god u will die here without us. but anyway maybe one day i’ll actually write it and publish it but it’s about monster hunting it’s abt friendship it’s abt gay ppl

Pretty strictly honestly? I know people like to portray me as some canon-divergent or AU Doflamingo but I do insist that my Doflamingo is as close to canon as possible. Of course I add more emotional stuff to him but he’s still the Doflamingo we know and love from One Piece!

I mean, shallow things first, he’s good looking. That aside, Doflamingo loves to play yet also takes things seriously. You want someone to hold a good conversation with? He’s good at that. You want someone who’s interested in more serious talk? He can do that. You want someone to spar with? He can take you on. You want someone to have fun with? His sense of having fun may be different but he’s in no way boring. Doflamingo is a man with many sides, and he’s very good at adapting to the companionship he’s with.

Now the OPPOSITE, list everything why your muse could not be so interesting (even if you may not agree, what does the fandom perhaps think?).

Doflamingo is a man with many sides, that also means he might exactly be what the other person doesn’t want. Doflamingo is very stubborn and whimsical so it can be hard to keep up. He also doesn’t like not getting his way so he can grow angry at that. Doflamingo is also sadistic, with little to no regard to the opinions of those around him.

What inspired you to rp your muse?

Honestly, it’s hard to describe. I just loved him after seeing him at the marineford war arc. He was cool looking, he had a giant feather coat (and I love birds), he was intriguing and ngl, his voice actor Hideyuki Tanaka also won me over. From that moment on I just kept on loving him more. With every detail I just got more interested. If it weren’t for Doflamingo I probably wouldn’t have kept on going on with watching One Piece.

What keeps your inspiration going?

Everything honestly? I just get inspired by almost anything! It’s not that I don’t have any inspiration to write him, it’s usually that I don’t have energy or emotional capacity to deal with tumblr rpc. But I’ve never ran out of inspiration for him.

Do you accept criticism well about your portrayal?

I like to think I do? I just... Listen to it. I get a shitton of crap for my portrayal, both voiced in words and actions so regardless of whether I take it well or not, I take it. I like to try and learn things out of it. Granted, I rarely get criticism on here, I just get like... Hate... Or insults. Fun.

A lot of people nowadays don’t even know what criticism is and what isn’t.

Do you like questions, which help you explore your character?

Absolutely! I’m awkward at answering them though, because it feels like answering in your muse’s place? And sometimes you just know your answer isn’t what most people think about your muse so you’re kind of stuck between giving the obvious one or revealing your headcanons? But I love answering questions, they’re a great way to further develop your portrayal and they usually write faster than threads!

If someone disagrees to a headcanon of yours, do you want to know why?

Not really. Half of the time they let you know anyways why they don’t agree lmao. People have their own hc. As long as someone doesn’t bash mine I won’t really take note of it? If someone disagrees that’s fine, if that someone proceeds to make a hc. completely the opposite of it and ends up explaining it like an ass, then I end up knowing why but wishing I didn’t.

If someone disagrees with your portrayal, how would you take it?

Like I take it on here, which is just accept it. People don’t owe you a liking to your portrayal. Everyone has different tastes, opinions and views so really, there’s nothing to do about it. I do prefer if people would just ignore it and move on but some people get really heated over not liking your portrayal. If someone openly and continuously disagrees and bashes I might not take it and tell them to fuck off.

If someone really hates your character, how do you take it?

Hard if it’s openly expressed towards me, otherwise it’s live and let live. Not everyone’s gonna like the character you like, and honestly, that means more to like for you. I’ve had one person openly hate on Doflamingo though and it was very exhausting. I took it not personally but I still kind of got hurt about it? Granted there was more going on with that person but... It hurts if people express their hate about a character you love to you. If they stay away with their hate I don’t really pay attention to it.

Are you okay with people pointing out your grammatical errors?

Definitely! English is not my first language... Not even my second one either! And there’s nothing more hateful than rereading something on your blog you really love and then finally noticing a grammatical error... or a spelling mistake... It hurts Dx!

Do you think you are easy going as a mun?

I try to be, and I do think I’m wayyy more easy going than when I first started RPing. But even if you think of yourself as easy going, it’s how people view you that ends up telling whether or not you are easy-going!
