dolores dei was the innocence not only of humanism/moralism but of interisolary travel and was responsible for the discovery of insulinde... she was dora the explorer...
i was talking to my parents on FaceTime and my dad told me how his sister (who is not an artist, she's a doctor) used to make little paper craft wall decorations and i was like 'omg i love it when non-artists enjoy making art'
and my parents were like wait what... did you just say that you hate it when non-artists make art?? and so i was like no no i said that i LOVE it when non-artists make art.
and then they were like oh phew. so for a second i must have transformed into this pompous pretentious 'art is only for the upper class' art student asshole in their eyes which must have been. horrifying., but also very funny,
Sorry (not sorry) but this will forever be accurate to me 😭
i would like to headcanon that Nine secretly has a soft spot (/p) for the chaos robots/team causs he feels like..they're like his actual friends!! <3 (Unlike Sonic LMFAO he can get his ass beaten by the chaos robots/team)
I've not reread wings of fire in a few years (an issue, I'm aware. I'm working on it) and only remember bits and pieces, but I love Thorn and her massive 'only realized im a lesbian after having incredibly underwhelming sex w a guy and getting pregnant but i love my child so much she's everything to me' vibes
stayed up wayyyy too late finally playing the Baxter DLC of Our Life and BOYYYYYY
i am thrown right back into desperately wanting to write the whirlwind summer fling between Baxter and my ballroom dancer OC Liora where they ended up getting paired up for a competition similar to So You Think You Can Dance where they had to perform new ballroom dances every week (and they did ultimately win) only to part ways and never speak again until Liora found herself invited to a certain wedding of Cove Holden's and they finally saw each other again after like 3 or 4 years (and of course there is a dance at the wedding because why wouldnt there be?)
