[CANNIBALISM TW IN NEXT LINE] arioch’s character is so fundamentally interesting to me BECAUSE of her wanting to eat babies that i’m keeping that she wants to eat babies (tho obviously i will not roleplay that she wants to eat babies, i just think that it’s interesting for a character obsessed with motherhood to be so evil and monstrous, but for five and furiae who are canonically incestuous characters, i am reclaiming them in the name of hypersexual lesbians with intrusive thoughts.

[INTRUSIVE THOUGHTS TW AND INCEST TW FOR NEXT PARAGRAPH after this excessively long warning. could be triggering to people with intrusive thoughts. intrusive thoughts are not what people on tumblr think they are such as ‘eat a leaf’. they are thoughts that make you want to kill yourself because they are so disgusting and perverted to you. i aim to represent myself and other people with intrusive thoughts. but this could be triggering or upsetting to read.

proceed with caution if u have intrusive thoughts, but if you don’t---realize that this is what intrusive thoughts really are, scary and terrible and disgusting, things that don’t align with the person you are or want to be. the only way i got over my own intrusive thoughts was recognizing that i was literally ‘obsessed’ with these thoughts bc i couldn’t stand any ‘ambivalence’ over whether such terrible things could actually be true about myself. learning to accept that such thoughts do not reflect on urself as someone who suffers thru them and that the thoughts do not matter or help you ‘become better by warning you of how evil you are and you must ask yourself if this is true every time you have them because of how evil they are and how much they scare you in a neverending cycle of self-harm’ is the only way to get through them. and honestly i do believe that it is worthwhile for people with intrusive thoughts to see that other people have the same thoughts as them and that they are just as scare and feel just as broken. but be warned anyway bc its some real ass scary and serious shit]

my furiae is not in love with her brother like she is in the game. furiae has ocd and is so afraid of her intrusive thoughts about her brother combined with her genuine (platonic and familial) love for him that she is fooled by herself into thinking that their relationship of him murdering countless people for her is something she can turn a blind eye to. he’s the normal one. he’s not the ‘dirty’ one like her, at least in her mind. he’s trying his best to save her, and she should be grateful, and she would do anything for him, anything to be normal and human and to find forgiveness and safety with him instead of feeling terrified and like vomitting and hurting herself every time they’re in the same room.

five on the other hand, i’m just cutting out the part about dito and zero and giving her the arc she deserves. she’s a lesbian that sleeps with men that can never satisfy her. she doesn’t understand this feeling inside herself---that wants more than can be given by a man, or at least something different. she blames it on being little less than a goddess, but she’s really just a pillow princess who needs a good dyke to wear her down taming of the shrew style but gay

Fav thing about them: ..i’m going to take this as “list the reasons you like him”. first off he’s a daddy. he’s an entertaining villain in that he always just seems to be having so much fun being evil, which i always like in a villain. he’s like handsome jack only way less charming and Sexy™ and with smaller dick energy. his animations and voice are cool (most of the time). his backstory is p interesting and i feel bad for him, though not any more than i do anyone else in the story. and his gameplay is fun! his dlc is my 2nd fav to play after ignis :3Least fav thing about them: sometimes his voice acting n stuff can be..not great. he’s good at the low intimidating voice, but doesn’t seem to do screaming very well which kinda makes it hard to take some scenes in his dlc seriously :( and the first part with aera is just hard to watch cuz, i know it’s tryna show him like “look at the person he used to be! he was once sweet and happy and in love and now look what he’s become”, but god it’s so cheesy, it’s like watching a hallmark movie. i’m sure there was a better way to show his character than that.Fav line: luna: “when the prophecy is fulfilled, all in thrall to darkness shall know peace.” ardyn: “how sweet...but please lady lunafreya, you first.”OTP: ardynoct, ardyn/ifrit (large boyfriend!!)brOTP: ardyn/ifrit, other than that ???nOTP: him and aera, him and verstael (i don’t like either of those characters and the relationship dynamics just feel dull :/)Random headcanon: i can’t imagine him not using his illusion magic to fuck with random strangers for fun during his spare timeUnpopular opinion: idk if unpopular but general opinion- i used to dislike him as a character (and really only use him to bully noct with lmao) when i first played through, but then i saw a bunch of pics of him on tumblr and realized that oh no he’s pretty. i still wouldn’t list him as one of my favorites, but he is entertaining at the very least.Song I associate with them: “outrunning karma” by alec benjamin and “monster” by imagine dragons (i don’t listen to character playslists that much but please tell me there’s at least one for him with this song on there)Favorite picture of them: just gonna link this one cuz it’s nsfw (ardynoct), but also if you want an sfw one then-

How long has it been since we’ve known each other??? Like 6 or 7 months, since we made our blogs around the same time? I remember when we first started interacting, we were both a couple of doofuses who were like “LET’S GET SOME EVIL IGGY ANGST UP IN HERE” and that’s basically how our friendship started. We had AU after AU, idea after idea, and it was (and still is) great to interact with you. You take Ignis and make him into so much more than what the game gave us. You put gospel onto each and every headcanon and relationship you give him. His relationships are all believable. You put your heart into theories. Even when your muse is low, you still push on and try to get Iggy back to listen you. Also, your art is amazing. It’s very clear you put a lot of love into your portrayal and that’s what makes your Ignis so great. Here’s to 2018! I can’t wait to read more of your threads!
