KENNYO:

You know how hard Kennyo works to take care of the monastery and everyone living there as their abbot. It's not rare for the two of you to turn in for the night at a late hour, with you helping around with the cleaning after dinner and him squeezing in some extra hours of work by candlelight.

There's an open book on his desk when you enter your shared room, your face lighting up just by finding him there. You want to wait for him to join you in the futon before falling asleep, maybe you can find some light read for yourself to keep your eyes open...

Distracting Kennyo would be too naughty of you, no matter how much you miss him. To have such a selfish desire is no good.

...However, with the late hour and the way he pauses his activity for the second time now to rub at his stiff neck with one hand, you're starting to think that you have to interfere in some way. For his own good.

You swiftly slide out of your futon and approach him from behind, neither announcing your presence loudly nor quite sneaking up on him, just delicate enough for him to feel you close in. You kneel down behind his large, board frame, and embrace him. He lets out a small, soft chuckle, extending his hand backward to pet your head. It's not enough.

You press your lips to his cheek, barely reaching it in your position, and just to make sure he feels something, you go for another one - soon beginning to have too much fun with your little game, you rain another dozen kisses on his features, ghosting over the scar running across his face, just because.

"Testing the patience of a monk? You may continue if you're feeling confident. Although, if I have to be honest, I have to say - I'm interested in seeing you win."

Me: today, we are teaching the Cybird suitors on how to compliment. (Minutes IkeRev as I don’t know them a lot to actually have the guts to do it)

Yukimura: why?

Me: ..cause some of y’all are struggling. So pretend I’m a girl that you like. Don’t worry, I got paper masks. Yuki, you go first you klutz.

Me: …that was the most hesitant and worse compliment I’ve ever heard. You sound so unsure that I thought your confident went from 45% to a negative no babes tonight.

Yukimura: can you be less scathing-?!

Me: …no.

Yukimura: damn it.

Shingan: Yuki~!

Me: also the come back for that flirt is gonna go something the line..”so my hair looks terrible, huh?!” situation.

Sasuke: *covers mouth* it’s nothing Lord Kenshin-sama.

Me: okay, next up. Motonori.

Motonori: heh! I’ve sailed many seas, and capture ships and jewels…seeing you m’lady…made it worth it over the thousands of pearls and treasures I stolen just for you. *wink*

Me: …wait…you have thousands of pearls and treasures?!

Yukimura: that’s what your focus on?!

Me: uh..yeah! Who doesn’t want to see some treasures?! Me! Plus I don’t wanna see the same treasure box like in pre-school and in the dentist office.

Motonori: wait, they give treasures in a learning center and a d-denrist?

Me: dentist. And yes, it’s a modern thing in —bleep— but I don’t know for the other countries around. Can I see?!

Motonori: well how can I deny someone who loves me treasures as I?

Me: yay!

Me: anyways-! Good job Motonori. Maybe change it a bit and it will swoon some lady hearts.

Motonori: heh! *smug*

Yukimura: your only doing it cause he showed you his gains.

Me: so, your the one who can’t even compliment a woman properly without stuttering and make it sound offending two words in.

Yukimura: hey!

Me: next, Abbot Kennyo.

Kennyo: Amitabha Buddha, Young Lady.

Me: *bows down, arms crossed* A Di Đà Phật, Tại. [translation: Amitabha, senior monk/ abbot]

Kennyo: *suprised* Why are you so respectful towards me, young miss.

Me: I grew in a Buddhist family, so I must do it to respect any monks whether they sin or not. (｡◕‿◕｡)

Shingan: well would you look at that~!

Me: shut it Shins-gone. Before I make your nickname a reality.

Shingan:

Thank you for the ask. I love giving Kennyo some love! The man is so tender and loving and underappreciated (it's criminal how underappreciated he is!). Sine you picked one from the SFW list and one from the NSFW list, I will be answering this in two posts. I'll post the SFW prompt here and then the NSFW in another post.

SFW prompt 12- Suitor comforts MC/reader after a bad dream

No warnings just pure fluff!

Kennyo awakens when he feels you moving around. He sits up and notices your shoulders trembling as you cry.

“What’s wrong?” He asks you, his voice showing nothing but concern and tenderness.

You apologize for waking him and then tell him it was just a bad dream and that it was no big deal.

His large arms are instantly wrapping around you and he is pulling you to his chest. His large hands are stroking your hair and rubbing your back.

“If it was truly nothing, then why are you crying?” He replies. He holds you as you continue to cry.

Once you have let out all of your tears, you stay in his warm embrace.

“Would you like to talk about it?” He asks.

You nod and tell him all about your dream. One of your deepest fears comes true in the dream.

You thank him for listening and apologize once again for getting worked up over a silly dream.

“Dreams may not be real, but the feelings they evoke within us are.” Kennyo tells you. “You have nothing to apologize for.”

He dries your tears and then gets you some water. When you are ready to settle back down for the night, Kennyo holds you close, continuing to run his fingers through your hair and massage your back. He gives you a forehead kiss and tells you how much he loves you and that he will always be by your side.

You drift off to sleep, feeling safe and secure in his arms. No bad dream can get to you when you have such a kind and loving man to chase away the darkness.

Hey everyone! I was away for some time now because I wasn't really feeling motivated and in general, happy enough to want to draw.

But now that my anxiety is giving me a break I need subjects to draw and a bit of pressure to help me keep going :)

So I had an idea. I'll make a fanart for 5 of you of you favorite ikesen character! Don't worry, I'll make a draw with the names on paper to be fair. Not even sure how many people would show up since I don't know a lot of people here, but any number would make me happy :)

May I have a Teen MC request pls in which MC pulls a Mulan (by secretly dressing up as one of her brother's soldiers and causing an avalanche onto the enemy)? Of course, she gets caught by the said Warlord as she tries to escape during the battle (so it would appear as if she never left the campsite). I know that the Warlords would both be angry yet impressed by her stunt (and that she's also okay).

Teen!MC pulling a mulan.

Oda forces.

Nobunaga Oda.

It’s needless to say that Nobunaga wouldn’t be very happy… at first glance. He will use his authoritative voice when he calls you, which will make you scared and sure that he will scold you. The serious way he is looking at you also doesn’t help.

However, before you can try to explain, Nobunaga will pat your head and congratulate you, a wide smirk on his face. His little sister is very fierce, after all.

Hideyoshi Toyotomi.

Hideyoshi will raise his voice, though not too much, when scolding you. He will look more like a parent than your older brother, his hands will be on his hips as he nags.

What if you got hurt? What if the enemy attacked you? What if that avalanche had managed to bury you? He can’t stress enough reasons as to what could have happened.

Mitsuhide Akechi.

Mitsuhide will be surprisingly serious for once, asking you if you even have a brain between your ears. He isn’t one to scold, that’s Hideyoshi’s job, but you were in serious danger.

However, even though he will be angry, he will still praise you for doing a good job, even if it was a sloppy one.

Ieyasu Tokugawa.

Ieyasu isn’t one to nag either, but he will make you feel bad, he was worried about your safety and couldn’t believe you would sneak in as one of his soldiers.

Still, Ieyasu can’t stay angry at his young sister, so he will pat your head and tell you to go to your tent and reflect on what you did.

Mitsunari Ishida.

You might think Mitsunari won’t scold you, right? Wrong, he will. The difference is that he won’t be scary while doing so. Instead he will go on about how much he was worried and how important you are to him, Mitsunari will become more clingy towards you as to make sure you don’t leave his side.

You will feel a bit bad for making Mitsunari worry so much, he truly was afraid of losing his sister.

Masamune Date.

Masamune will be… conflicted, he doesn’t know whether he should praise you or ask if you are crazy.. which will also receive praise from him. He believes that it is important that you have surviving skills like that, since he wasn’t sure if he could be by your side to protect you.

He can’t really stay mad at you, so he will encourage you (which will make Hideyoshi scold him for being a bad influence).

Ranmaru Mori.

Ranmaru isn’t one to scold at all, instead he will hug you tightly while saying how worried he was, he isn’t used to being a big brother so he isn’t sure how to go on about scolding you.

He will more likely pout at you while making an attempt at scolding you, which will remain an attempt.

Keiji.

Keiji’s mask will fall, he will scold you a lot, clearly angry that you were that reckless. Sure, he will praise you for your idea, but that doesn’t change the fact that you almost died.

He will wait to calm down first so that he can praise you properly.

Uesugi-Takeda alliance.

Kenshin Uesugi.

Kenshin will be another one who will be conflicted, on one hand he is proud of his little sister for fending their enemies like that, with such a great plan, but on the other hand he almost lost you. He won’t have the heart to scold you, instead he will tighten security around you.

Shingen Takeda.

Shingen will be on the same page as Kenshin, but instead he will be able to scold you properly. He doesn’t raise his voice but makes his worries clear (aka I am not mad, just disappointed).

He will praise your idea, though. You managed to think fast in a situation like that… maybe he should train his little sister in the arts of war.

Yukimura Sanada.

Yukimura will have more reason to call you a boar girl, crazy enough to defeat a whole army by starting an avalanche. He will also see potential for you to train with him, but don’t think he isn’t panicking.

He will ask if you really are crazy, only to receive a hit on his arm from you.

Yoshimoto Imagawa.

Yoshimoto doesn’t scold, and that’s because he has no energy for it. He will, however, give you the silent treatment for a while until you apologize for sneaking in battle. Then he will pull you into a tight hug, happy that you were ok.

Sasuke.

It’s hard to know whether Sasuke is scolding you or praising you. He will be more worried, while also saying you were just like mulan.

He is the kind of big brother that wouldn’t scold you, but would remind you to be more careful the next time you do something like this.

Kanetsugu.

You thought Hideyoshi was scary when scolding? Kanetsugu is worse. He will not only scold you but he will also punish you by grounding you to reflect on what you did. Perhaps it becomes worse because of the tone of his voice and how serious his face was.

Lone forces.

Motonari Mouri.

Motonari will give you a light hit on the back of your head, nothing that would really hurt but it caught your attention. He will scold you angrily, not happy that you tried doing something reckless.

Still, he recognizes your talents, so he will warm up to the idea of training you, you had a lot to learn from him.

Kennyo.

Kennyo scolds but not in a scary way… much. He really just tries telling you that you are still too young to be running off to battle like that, not experienced enough and that if you were only patient enough, he would teach you how to be a soldier.

… on second thought, you are his little sister, no way would he want you anywhere near the battlefield.

Kichou.

Kichou’s approach would be much like Nobunaga’s, but instead of unexpectedly praising you, he will give you the scolding of your life, to the point where you call him “sir” or “lord” instead of big brother.

Deep down it all comes from genuine worry.

Can you do a headcannon of what Masamune, Shingen, Kenshin, Nobunaga, Ieyasu, Kennyo, Mitsuhide and Mitsunari will react if the MC were to give them flowers instead of them giving her them?

It's Nobunaga's birthday, so here's some headcanons (with some other warlords). Hope you enjoy!

SUITOR'S REACTION WHEN READER GIFTED THEM FLOWERS (Masamune, Shingen, Kenshin, Nobunaga, Ieyasu, Kennyo, Mitsuhide, Mitsunari)

Masamune Date

He was surprised. No one had ever gifted him flowers before, let alone a lass as beautiful as you. When he first saw you with the bouquet, his initial thought was that they were for someone else. His hand found the hilt of his sword, ready for a fight for your love. But then you presented the bouquet to him. He placed the flowers in a vase in his room, a small part of him sad there was no battle for your love.

Shingen Takeda

Shingen was impressed. It was normally he who gifted the flowers, not the other way around. Flattered by your gift, he found himself enjoying this role-reversal, hoping to receive more thoughtful gifts from you in the future. As a thank you, Shingen took one of the blooms, broke off the stem, and tucked the flower behind your ear.

Kenshin Uesugi

Kenshin was afraid. Why were you holding those flowers - did they hurt you in some way? Ready with his trusty sword in hand to cut down the plant that dared harm his love, he blinked in surprise when you laughed and told him the flowers were a gift for him. After sheathing his sword, he asked for your help in putting the flowers in a vase.

Nobunaga Oda

Nobunaga was happy. It was his birthday, after all. After a day of receiving numerous, extravagant gifts, it was refreshing to receive something so beautifully simple from his lover. Or maybe it was because it was from you that it was his favorite gift that day. Now if only you had stashed some konpeito in the bouquet somewhere.

Ieyasu Tokugawa

Ieyasu was grumpy. Why did you have to give him flowers? Now he had to find a vase to put them in - did you think he had things like that handy in his bedroom? And make sure they had water. And get you a gift in return. Oh, why did you have to give him these silly, pretty flowers?

Kennyo

Kennyo was flattered. What a beautiful gift from his beautiful lover. He marveled over the pastel shades of the petals and the sense of serenity he felt just by looking at them. He placed the flowers in his bedroom (unlike some of the warlords in the Oda forces, Kennyo actually owned a vase) on a table near his bed so that every night when he went to bed, your flowers were the last thing he saw, and when he woke up in the morning, they were the first thing he saw.

Mitsuhide Akechi

Mitsuhide was mischievous. Mitsuhide was not used to receiving gifts, let alone a bouquet of flowers. Was this just an innocent gift? Were you rewarding him for the prank he pulled on Mitsunari the other day? He hoped it was for the latter - he would happily pull any number of pranks to bring a smile to your face.

Mitsunari Ishida

Mitsunari was flustered. Flowers? For him? Was this some kind of prank? (He's still getting over being pranked by Mitsuhide the other day). Once he got over his initial confusion and realized that these flowers were a genuine gift for him, he thanked you profusely for said bouquet. He particularly liked the various shades of purple in the bouquet and found a nice spot to display them in his room.

Headcanon: Warlords in a Snowball Fight

In Azuchi…

Nobunaga – Strides through the field of battle, easily packing the snow into efficient weapons. Cooly confident that nobody would dare... Splat!

Masamune – A snow battle? Bring it on! Runs wildly into action, skidding to a drift, quickly forms lopsided snowballs, and throws them with surprisingly good aim, especially given his blind side. Which… by the way… Splat!

Hideyoshi – Sets out a list of rules, including, no ice in the middle of your snowball, no throwing snowballs inside the castle, absolutely no running! In the midst of announcing the rules… Splat!

Ieyasu – Splat! He goes home and locks himself in his panic room with his emotional support sourdough starter.

Mitsunari – An army is made and broken by its organization. Carefully stockpiles snowballs at strategic points throughout Azuchi. Then gets distracted by a new book and forgets to join in the battle.

Ranmaru – Finds Mitsunari’s useful stacks of snowballs, and climbs to the roof, where he systematically picks everyone off, sniper style. Splat!

Keiji – Stands in the center of the field of play, grabbing the closest snow at hand, and throwing it randomly. He’s a dervish. Then he opens his arms wide and yodels, “Who wants to take on the wild child of these war-torn islands, he whose name is sung far and wide, the roguish misfit, Keiji Maeda?” Splat! Splat! Splat!

Mitsuhide – Excels at sneaking from hiding spot to hiding spot, surprising victims by popping up out of nowhere and disappearing before they can retaliate. Is also the reason Ieyasu is hiding.

At Kasugayama… things are slightly more dangerous

Kenshin – Instead of snowballs, hurls icicles like spears.

Kanetsugu – When people complain about flying icicles, tells them they should be honored to receive such attention from the God of War.

Shingen – Organizes Yukimura and Yoshimoto into a team and carefully strategizes the best times and places to attack. Has also built a working snow catapult. In spite of all that, he ends up strangely covered in snow, because, let’s face it, the man looks great in a wet kimono. And out of one.

Yukimura – Is an athletic and efficient snowball thrower, very good on the front lines in an all-out battle, but not terribly good at sneak attacks.

Yoshimoto – Is every snowflake truly different? Let’s find out? He wanders out into the garden. Is not seen until spring.

Sasuke – After getting hit by one too many icicles, packs his snowballs with ground spikes and sets off smoke bombs to escape.

Lone Forces…

Kennyo – Tricks Azuchi and Kasugayama into fighting each other, then goes off and feeds hungry forest creatures.

Motonari – Snow? Snow doesn’t burn. Hell has frozen over. Sets sail for more tropical climates at the first sign of a flake.

Kicho – Sets off an avalanche.

I said I was gonna put together that Unrequited/Love Rival list for IkeSen and by the gods I am going to put it together! Shout out to @babyblue0t7 for reminding me (and sharing some info too) that I had made a post with the goal and intent to put together said list but got distracted by a multitude of things;;;; (and poor memory;;)

Also thank you to the Ikemen Discord server crew that I'm a part of, especially @sevenai & @veervers on said server, I appreciate the assist in helping me figure out who was who in these routes!

Everything will be under a read more and this originally started as me wanting to sate my curiosity over it. Reblogs for this is GREATLY appreciated over the likes as it'll help spread it as well as help anyone else who wants to sate their curiosity.

Bear in mind that, this list is going to be missing a few things and doesn't really fully contain anything involving the sequels & routes that have been released for the JP servers, the only sequel and unreleased route to EN will be tagged as such. My goal is to get mostly the main routes listed, and the sequel ones can be added onto the post or added in at a later date.

So the only "spoiler" is going to be crossed out, but from what was shared, that is in fact the rival.

Masamune hasn't been listed as a rival to anyone yet, as well as Kanetsugu (That I and the listed peeps aren't aware of yet, as some of us have yet to do some sequel routes).

However as I previously said, this isn't a 100% completed list as we still have more sequels to be released on top of one more route to be released via JP server.

Whimsey's Story Event! I do, My Love- Kennyo Pt. 2 The Wedding

After Kennyo's oh so sweet and romantic proposal, our wedding preparations began. SInce the ceremony didn't have to be religious, it actually gave us a lot of freedom to make it just about us and our love for each other and our desire to commit our lives to one another.

Kennyo was also being so very sweet with all of it, telling me he wanted the wedding to be everything I had ever dreamed of. "It's not just about me." I told him, as we sat with our friends who had become our unofficial planning committee. "It's about both of us. We should make sure the wedding is the way you want, too."

Kennyo gave me a warm smile. "Just the fact that you even want to dedicate your love and your life to me is more than enough." Kennyo assured me.

"Kennyo…" I said, feeling so happy at his sweet words.

"Awe, there truly is nothing more beautiful than love." Shingen said from his place across from us.

"Master Kennyo and Lady Ava are so great together." Ranmaru agreed.

I felt my cheeks redden at the words from our friends. "You guys…"

"So, since this is going to be a wedding that reflects you guys, are you planning to follow some of the traditions from our…hometown?" Sasuke asked, looking at me.

"I was thinking of a few." I answered smiling.

"That will be fun to see." Ranmaru said, smiling brightly. "What kinds of things were you thinking?"

Kennyo and I had already discussed most of this stuff on our own. "Well, there were a few we decided we wanted to do. One of them is exchanging rings as an outward symbol of our commitment to each other." I then went on to explain some of the other traditions. "Oh and one of the last traditions, Yoshimoto, I'm really going to need your help with in finding just the right fabrics, since you have such an eye for these kinds of things."

Yoshimoto smiled. "I'd be more than happy to help you create your next masterpiece." He said.

"So, you are making a wedding dress?" Sasuke asked, already knowing.

I nodded. "Yes." I then turned to Yoshimoto. "I'll show you the design when we go out shopping later."

"Why not show me right now?" Yoshimoto asked.

"Because she has already forbidden me from seeing it until the wedding." Kennyo answered. "Another tradition we will be following."

"It's bad luck for the groom to see the bride in her dress before the ceremony." Sasuke said knowingly.

"I don't believe in that." I said. "But I like the idea of a surprise."

"Does this mean you will be having a more Western style wedding?" Sasuke asked. "And would you be having anyone give you away?"

I laughed. "I suppose it will be a little more of a Western style." I agreed. "But I don't think I'll be having anyone give me away. My father isn't available for that after all."

"Giving the bride away?" Shingen asked.

Sasuke gave a quick explanation of the tradition. Once he had finished the explanation, we heard a voice that I had not expected. At least not for a few more days when the official visit would be. "If anyone is to give the bride away, being that you are a princess of the Oda Forces, I shall gladly take that honor. You are my lucky charm after all."

We all looked up, surprised. "Nobunaga?" I asked.

"What are you doing here, Devil?" Shingen asked, all mirth gone from his eyes.

"I have reached peace with Kennyo and his disiples." Nobunaga explained. "And then of course, I received word of a wedding to take place between my lucky charm and the man she has chosen to live her life with."

"This is a happy occasion." Kennyo said to Shingen. Though I knew Kennyo still had a hard time dealing with Nobunaga, even knowing that Kicho had acted alone all those years ago and started everything…there had been a lot of hurt. I was proud of him for working so hard to move past that. "And this temple is neutral territory."

Shingen sighed. "I suppose it would make sense for you to attend…nor would I want to cause problems for my friend or the beautiful goddess he is marrying."

I looked up at Nobunaga. "But…you really want to give me away?" I asked him.

Nobunaga smirked. "It is only right."

I was surprised by the touch of warmth I saw in those red eyes. There were times that I never understood the man, times I still didn't but he could be surprisingly warm at times. "I would appreciate that."

Nobunaga then came to join us. There was clearly still tension in the air, but as we all focused on discussing and planning the wedding, that tension slowly began to ease. It was nice that everyone could put aside their differences for the sake of mine and Kennyo's wedding. I just hoped that this would continue and be the same on the day of our wedding…which would be in three months.

Three months later…

I stood in the spare room, looking in the mirror. Hideyoshi, Mitsuhide, and Yoshimoto had surprised me by helping me with my hair and makeup. Nothing too over the top, thankfully. I had honestly thought Yoshimoto would try going really grand and fancy, but he said that would detract from my natural beauty. He'd also said he didn't want to take away from the masterpiece that was my dress.

With some help from some maids, I had managed to get my dress on. I had combined elements of a modern wedding dress and kimono to make something that was unique to me, but also still modest enough for the time period…and for becoming the wife of an abbot. Granted the monks had all already started referring to me as Abbess, but still…this would make it feel more official.

I smiled as I looked at my white dress, patterned with purple and gold flowers. My obi a solid purple, trimmed in gold, and a gold chord around the middle. I'm not sure how, but Nobunaga and Yoshimoto had managed to find lace for me in order to make a veil. I smiled as I looked at my reflection. As most young girls do, I had been dreaming about my wedding day for a long time. I never imagained it would be like this, and yet I couldn't think of it being any other way.

"Ava, I'm coming in."

I turned at the sound of the familiar voice and the door slid open. Nobunaga was walking in, dressed in his finest robes. He smiled at me. "I should have known you would have come up with such a creation. It is very fitting for you, Fireball."

I could see the warmth in his eyes as he looked at me. "Thanks, Nobunaga."

"Are you ready? It is almost time." He asked me.

I nodded with a bright smile. "Yes."

Nobunaga offered me his arm and I linked mine through his. We exited the room and began to head to the temple gardem, where we decided to hold the ceremony. All of the disiples were gathered, along with all of our friends…including all of the Oda forces and Shingen, Sasuke, and Yoshimoto.

I couldn't help but to feel an added happiness at seeing all of these people who were enemies, putting that aside for the day. I knew it wasn't easy for any of them, but they were doing this all for Kennyo and me. Of course, I couldn't focus on the guests for too long.

Kennyo stood under the very tree he proposed to me under. He looked so handsome in the black kimono I had made for him, with a gold and purple sash. He smiled at me as I walked towards him on Nobunaga's arm. Once we reached our makeshift alter, Nobunaga was releasing me and then placing my hand in Kennyo's before taking his seat.

Kennyo and I stood facing each other and joined both of our hands and smiling. Given that this was just about us pledging our lives and our love to each other, we had agreed to write our own vows. Echanging those vows and rings.

"Ava," Kennyo said my name, reverently as he began his vows, "you have given me so much. Far more than I deserved. You rescued me from myself and showed me that I was still a man. Your pure heart, your kindness, and your love are all gifts to me. Gifts that I treasure above all else. In return, I pledge to you my life and my love. I swear to love you every day and see to your health, safety, and happiness for the rest of my life."

I could feel the happy tears stinging my eyes at how sweet his words were. I had not imagined just how beautiful his vows would be. Though it made sense, he was a wonderful orator. "How am I supposed to follow that?" I asked, giving him a smile. This also earned a chuckle from Kennyo and everyone in attendance.

"I am sure your words are beautiful." He replied, giving my hands a squeeze.

I smiled at him and nodded. "Kennyo, you have shown me a love and kindness as I have never known. Even when you didn't believe yourself kind, I always saw through to the kindness in your heart. I pledge my life and my love to you. I swear that I will love you every day and I will keep and protect that kind heart of yours and make sure you are happy for the rest of my life."

Ranmaru was then approaching us and handing us the rings. They were simple wooden bands Shingen had carved for us. Inside the bands he had carved the characters for love, life, kindness, and joy. Kennyo took my left hand and slid the band on my ring finger. With trembling hands, I managed to slide his ring on his finger.

We stood looking at each other, smiling. Then from the crowd, Sasuke called out. "You may now kiss the bride!"

"Kiss the bride before I do!" Masamune called.

"Is kissing the bride a tradition? I'd like to participate in that." Shingen said.

I felt my cheeks reddening, but Kennyo was smiling at me. He pulled me closer and soon our lips were meeting in a sweet kiss, sealing our wedding vows. When we broke apart, we were both smiling. "I love you, Kennyo." I told him.

He smiled at me. "I love you, Ava…my wife."

My heart soared at those words and my smile widened. "My husband."
