Sorry for the radio silence! Have been really focusing on university and my own original projects lately.
That being said, as a thanks for those sticking around long enough, have an updated look for my MC protagonist! I plan to release the second chapter of their collective story at NRC sometime soon if I ever get some free time to finish/edit it so I hope you can all look forward to that whenever I release it to the public.
A/N: although now I want to redraw this now, but I’ll stop myself since I have a lot more I want to prioritize besides this drawing. So RIP 😢

It was a usual day where Mythra dragged Sindren Into the City to buy clothes and Walk around, however she recognized someone familiar and slowly tried to sneak Up from behind. Ikon was talking to a salesman as Sindren put a Hand on His shoulder.
"Sinny, what a coincidence."
"Good to see you too Ikon."
"Are you alone here or..."
"Mythra wanted to go Shopping but she is to occupied with getting Feena into different Outfits that I thought once I saw you, it would be more fun to Go Shopping with you instead because we could Look through Comics."
"Sounds like a good Idea, I was on my way there but actually... I got you something."
He pulled Out a Double Necklace of two Superheroes fistbumping. He gave one of them to Sindren.
"That is awesome, thank you so much."
She hugged him nearly making them both Fall over.
"I am glad you Like it. Now then, lets Go..."

Bombers Pre-season: Waterman, Cox and Smith Early Bolters
Tumblr media
Football is back. Even if the first hit out was an unofficial practice match at an empty Ikon Park. And if you need to know the score, the Bombers lost by 21 against the Blues. Both teams were missing players. Former Bomber Adam Saad impressed for his first game in the navy blue which gave me hives. But for a meaningless game there was a lot to consider. At least for the short term.
Before we dig into some pre-season notes from yesterday’s match, if you watched the game you probably noticed the Bombers looked raw. They looked like a team that needs a lot more time together. That means an injury-free run. That means getting the foundation of Rutten’s game plan settled. Heading into 2021, after the losses of Daniher, Fantasia, McKenna and Saad, this is a team that is in a clear rebuild.
The Bombers fielded seven first-gamers that included a handful of 18 and 19 year-olds. Some were returning from long stints on the sidelines. Some looked out of sorts in new positions. All of these things reminded me that, although the Bombers looked good in patches and linked up well with quick ball movement, they are very much a work in progress with a healthy dose of upside.
It’s very early days. Any critical observations are to be taken lightly. Here’s a few things that stood out from the Ikon Park hit out.
Waterman: The four goals look good on the stats sheet. What was impressive was the way he attacked the ball, his bulk and size as medium-sized forward, and his long left boot. He reminded me of a bigger and more athletic version of Stu Crameri. He’s still not a given for 2021, but, boy, he certainly made a case for the Bombers to lock him up with a contract. Great to see him on the park after a serious struggle with Glandular Fever.
Heppell: It’s going to take a few more hit outs for the skipper to find a groove. He’s not only returning after an injury-riddled run, but he’s now trying to adjust to playing at halfback which is not that unfamiliar for him. Against the Blues we saw the good and the untidy from Heppell. At one point he had the ball inside the defensive 50, ran toward the right pocket and fell over. He was caught holding the ball and the Blues kicked a goal. But his pin-point delivery and calm head when others struggled to find targets - guys like Gleeson, Stewart - was polish that was sorely needed.
Smith: Anyone who watched Smith play last year will know he was sub par, oft-injured or carrying niggling injuries. He looked a step behind the play. Then got moved to half back. What I liked about Smith’s first crack against the Blues is that his genuine harassment looked to be back. He tackled everything that moved. And created opportunities to score. If his body stays healthy we could see a much improved effort from him in 2021.
Cox: Cox’s game felt influential in parts. Yes, other first-gamers like Jones kicked two goals and impressed with his contested marking across half forward. And although Perkins didn’t get much game time he created two goal opportunities and we got to see his slick footwork when he did touch the ball. But Cox featured more around the ground as a tall marking option that can run. What Cox lacks in bulk, he makes up with height (200cm), speed and endurance. He’s going to cause matchup headaches for opposition coaches.
Cutler + Laverde:  Cutler hasn’t made the impact that many thought he would. He’s a 6-foot-4 winger (192 cm) with a sizable boot yet he seems to not be able to find the football. At stages I saw him following Cripps around. Is he a defensive-lockdown winger? I saw the impact Cox was able to have on the wing and feel that’s how Cutler should be performing in that position. Perhaps he doesn’t have the same tank as Cox? But, Cutler appears to be a capable depth guy that might become a rotation player. As for Laverde I didn’t see him have much impact in the backline. He gets a pass: He only played a half, he started a new role at a different end of the ground and is returning after a lengthy injury.

Nikolai Valuev: I have already seen a few American cities but I like Chicago most. Maybe it is because of a certain similarity to my home town St. Petersburg. But Hinkley, after injecting a batch of emerging talent into his side this season, is bullish about the future. "We set out at the start of the year to play finals and we failed to do that, so that does leave you a little bit hollow," he said. "(But) There is a lot of optimism. Hawthorn wingman Isaac Smith has paid tribute to his opposition coach ahead of Coach Outlet Online Sunday clash with Carlton in Launceston. A former Hawks assistant who boasted a 5 0 caretaker record in Alastair Clarkson absence, Brendon Bolton will fancy his chances of squaring his Hawthorn win loss ledger up at 2 2 after the Blues won their first game of the season last weekend. Now into the fourth year of his tenure at Ikon Park, Bolton is Blue through and through but is still remembered fondly by those who played under him at the Hawks. "I've been blessed to have some really good players. We practise quite a bit, and the kids come to practice and put in the commitment, remarked coach Carlo Zavarise. "That helps us when we have some talented teams to compete for a championships. "Mark is a very deserving recipient of this year's ECHL Outstanding Media Award, said ECHL Commissioner Brian McKenna. "Fans Coach Outlet Sale of the Walleye are fortunate to have a hard working, dedicated professional such as Mark covering their team on a daily basis. ‘Expansion Escapees’ or the ‘Gold Giants’?
THE INSATIABLE Victorian interest in Giants midfielder Josh Kelly – including North Melbourne’s $9 million, nine-year offer – has again shone the spotlight on the expansion clubs’ player retention.
Kelly’s Greater Western Sydney teammate Dylan Shiel recommitted this week, but another big name, 2012 No.1 draft pick Lachie Whitfield, also remains on the recruiting radar.
The pendulum has swung wildly since some prominent people screamed bloody murder as Gold Coast and GWS splashed money to litter their inaugural lists with mature-age stars from rival sides.
Much was written about the Suns’ initial list decision failings in 2011, suffering in comparison to the Giants’ approach of attracting younger top-liners in entering the competition a year later.
RECRUITS FROM OTHER AFL CLUBS Gold Coast: Gary Ablett (Geelong), Michael Barlow (Fremantle), Daniel Currie (Sydney, North Melbourne), Jarrad Grant (Western Bulldogs), Mitch Hallahan (Hawthorn), Pearce Hanley (Brisbane), Jarrod Harbrow (Western Bulldogs), Jarryd Lyons (Adelaide), Michael Rischitelli (Brisbane), Matt Rosa (West Coast), Jarrod Witts (Collingwood)
GWS: Phil Davis (Adelaide), Matt de Boer (Fremantle), Brett Deledio (Richmond), Ryan Griffen (Western Bulldogs), Steve Johnson (Geelong), Shane Mumford (Geelong, Sydney), Tendai Mzungu (Fremantle), Joel Patfull* (Brisbane), Sam Reid (Western Bulldogs), Tom Scully (Melbourne), Heath Shaw (Collingwood), Dawson Simpson (Geelong), Callan Ward (Western Bulldogs) *Patfull has retired, but is on the rookie list
The Sydneysiders’ 102-point demolition of Rodney Eade’s men in round two was their fifth straight victory over them, by an average margin of 56.4 points.
But the developing story is the increasing number of footballers performing elsewhere after starting their AFL career with one of the expansion clubs.
Some left by choice, such as Adam Treloar, Dion Prestia and Charlie Dixon, while others like Maverick Weller, Henry Schade and Nathan Krakouer were cut loose.
Gold Coast reject Schade and 2011 GWS top-five pick Will Hoskin-Elliott starred last week in Collingwood’s upset win in Sydney, alongside ex-Giants Treloar and Taylor Adams.
Carlton has also taken a well-publicised interest in the boys from Sydney Olympic Park, with former GWS list manager Stephen Silvagni now filling the same role with the Blues.
Eight ex-Giants, including Lachie Plowman, Caleb Marchbank and Jarrod Pickett, and one-time Suns big man Daniel Gorringe feature at Ikon Park.
EX-GWS AND GOLD COAST PLAYERS ON AFL LISTS Adelaide: Curtly Hampton (GWS) Brisbane Lions: Jake Barrett (GWS) Carlton: Kristian Jaksch, Jed Lamb, Caleb Marchbank, Rhys Palmer, Andrew Phillips, Jarrod Pickett, Lachie Plowman, Liam Sumner (GWS), Daniel Gorringe (Gold Coast) Collingwood: Taylor Adams, Will Hoskin-Elliott, Adam Treloar (GWS), Henry Schade (Gold Coast) Essendon: James Stewart (GWS) Fremantle: Harley Bennell (Gold Coast), Cam McCarthy (GWS) Geelong: Zac Smith (Gold Coast) Hawthorn: Jaeger O’Meara (Gold Coast), Jonathan O’Rourke (GWS) Melbourne: Tomas Bugg, Sam Frost, Pat McKenna, Dom Tyson (GWS) North Melbourne: Jed Anderson, Paul Ahern (GWS) Port Adelaide: Charlie Dixon, Nathan Krakouer (Gold Coast), Jack Hombsch, Jake Neade (GWS) Richmond: Dion Prestia, Josh Caddy (Gold Coast), Anthony Miles, Jacob Townsend (GWS), St Kilda: Josh Bruce, Jack Steele (GWS), Tom Hickey, Maverick Weller (Gold Coast) Sydney Swans: Shaun Edwards (GWS) West Coast: Jonathan Giles (GWS) Western Bulldogs: Tom Boyd (GWS)
Collingwood and Richmond have the equal second-most players from the expansion clubs with four each.
Magpie Josh Thomas, a Queensland junior representative, also knocked back a Gold Coast contract offer in a further connection.
Port Adelaide’s Jake Neade and North Melbourne’s Jed Anderson, who first joined Hawthorn, were Northern Territory zone selections for GWS, but were swapped for draft picks.
So much talent has departed the AFL’s two newest clubs to lists elsewhere that AFL.com.au was comfortably able to pick an imaginary line-up in position, dubbed the ‘Expansion Escapees’.
There is genuine quality on every line, with particular strength in the midfield and key forward slots, although some licence was taken to create the final 22.
The one criterion was the players were on an AFL list this season.
The task was not so easy the other way for the ‘Gold Giants’, despite many first-class footballers making their way to the Suns and Giants.
Phil Davis is the only true key defender in the bunch – with Joel Patfull retired, but still on the GWS rookie list – leaving specialist ruckman Jarrod Witts in the unfamiliar centre-half back post.
Sam Reid and Jarrad Grant are also the unlikely tall targets in attack.
But the team is blessed with ruck depth, headed by Shane Mumford, and boasts an enormous midfield rotation that could field numerous competitive combinations.
Let’s suppose the match is played at the Giants’ former Blacktown base, just to keep former mayor Alan Pendleton happy. Who wins?
EXPANSION ESCAPEES BEST 22 B: Lachie Plowman, Henry Schade, Caleb Marchbank HB: Nathan Krakouer, Jack Hombsch, Maverick Weller C: Josh Caddy, Dom Tyson, Taylor Adams HF: Harley Bennell, Charlie Dixon, Jaeger O’Meara F: Will Hoskin-Elliott, Josh Bruce, Tom Boyd Foll: Tom Hickey, Adam Treloar, Dion Prestia Inter: Cam McCarthy, Zac Smith, Jack Steele, Jake Neade
GOLD GIANTS BEST 22 B: Heath Shaw, Phil Davis, Matt Rosa HB: Pearce Hanley, Jarrod Witts, Jarrod Harbrow C: Ryan Griffen, Tom Scully, Brett Deledio HF: Steve Johnson, Sam Reid, Michael Barlow F: Jarryd Lyons, Jarrad Grant, Michael Rischitelli Foll: Shane Mumford, Gary Ablett, Callan Ward Inter: Matt de Boer, Tendai Mzungu, Mitch Hallahan, Dawson Simpson

💘 Ikon and Sindren?
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
As for the Headcanon, I do imagine compared to Others where Sindren Always is Happy and cheerfull, Ikon would actually manage to easier consult her If she is feeling down. As we covered in the Halloween Story, thanks to her upbringings on the Islands there is a Lot of Common Things Sindren doesn't Know in live, so I can imagine Ikon can Help her learn These Things. 😁

🛏️🥶 for any of our ships
You got it!! I hope this turned out okay! Been really pushing myself to actually finish writing things these days, so hopefully it isn’t too bad XD
Sindren X Ikon: Warm Hugs in Winter  🥶
“Achoo!”
Ikon groaned under breath. The shorter teen shivered as he tried his best to stay warm despite the bitter cold of winter. Normally, during these winter months, Ikon does his best to stay inside as much as possible. He was never a huge fan of the cold, despite his alternate form being very suitable to below zero conditions. It was something he could bever get used to, so he always attempted to stay warm constantly.
However, today was a different story!
After what felt like forever, Ikon could finally take some time off from work and school to go on a long overdue date with his girlfriend, Sindren. The two agreed to go on a movie date to see the latest superhero movie at the theater, meet up at a nearby park and walk there together. But damn, it was way too cold for him.
“Ugh.. I know I showed up too early.” Ikon shivered. “Ahh, where is she…!? I’m going to turn into a popsicle at this rate.”
After what felt like an eternity, Sindren called out to him as she ran to his side. Ikon couldn’t have been happier to see his partner than at that moment. As soon as she was a few steps away from him, he instantly held her in his arms.
“Wow, I know it’s been a while since we’ve hung out, but I didn’t know you missed me that much!” Sindren giggled, her hair swaying from the frosted winds of the weather, only making Ikon nuzzle her closer.
“Mhm, I have. Can we walk to the theater? I think my legs are freezing over.” Ikon groaned, only making Sindren laugh at him more, petting his head.
“Yeah, come on, Konnie.”
As the two walked, despite Ikon being warmer than before, his hands still felt numb. A mischievous thought flashed through his mind, and he smirked. Slowly Ikon raised his one free arm up to Sindren’s neck and-
“AHHHH IKON!!! WHY IS YOUR HAND SO COLD!?”
Hehe, yeah worth it.
Tyler X Dakota: Sleepy Time Cuddles  🛏️
“But-!”
“But nothing!” Dakota pouted as he huffed. “You can finish this later, Tyler. You need to rest before you hurt yourself.”
Dakota scolded Tyler as they walked together, hand in hand, back to Tyler’s room. From what Dakota gathered, at least from the frantic dorm members over the phone, Tyler had been working nonstop for the three days straight. To where Tyler hasn’t even left his workshop to even sleep. Dakota understood his boyfriend’s motivations and his desire to make a name for himself, but it always worried him whenever the tanuki boy would overwork himself to the bone like this.
After a while, the two reached Tyler’s dorm room and Dakota could see the lack of rest finally catching up to the tanuki. The way Tyler leaned against Dakota’s larger frame to keep balance and how his eyes were struggling to stay open any longer.
Once Dakota could open Tyler’s door. The centaur slowly guided his partner over to the bed, making sure Tyler at least took off his shoes and such before succumbing to the comforts of the soft bedding and slumber. However, before Dakota could step away, he felt a tug on his sleeve.
“Wait...don’t go yet,” Tyler mumbled, his face flushing a bit at his actions. “Um… can you stay with me?”
Dakota blushed, still not used to seeing these more soft and vulnerable sides of his boyfriend. Of course, he would love to, but because of his stature, Dakota didn’t want to risk breaking anything and putting off Tyler’s rest even more. Dakota’s worry must have shown on his face. Before he even said anything, Tyler smiled at him.
“Don’t worry about the bed. I had some alterations made to it a while ago.” Tyler yawned, tugging Dakota once more to lie down next to him.
“Oh, um, okay, if you say so then.” Dakota smiled back, laying down next to Tyler, allowing the older of the two to inch closer to Dakota, taking his arm and resting it at his side and he nuzzled his face against Dakota’s neck. Dakota brought Tyler close, resting his head against Tyler’s, planting a soft kiss on the other’s temple.
Sure enough, after being in each other’s embrace, Tyler fell into a deep slumber. Dakota smiled, happy that Tyler was finally getting the rest he deserved. Although Dakota now was certainly sure he wouldn’t be going back to NRC soon.
Oh well, it’s not like he was missing much anyway.
