OMG I WOULD LOVE TO THANK U FOR GIVING ME AN EXCUSE TO KIND PERSON

i genuinely think avdol would become a good mentor figure for everyone in the buccigang, including and not limited to bruno and abbacchio. giorno and him are probably closest tho,,,but i also do like the idea of fugo and avdol being close cause i like to think fugo reminds avdol of himself when he was younger (this is more headcanony than canon stuff tho)

as for actual plot stuff and how avdol would affect it;;;;;; due to avdol’s competence, no one dies <3 sorry araki but nara bruno and abbacchio are alive now. I'm still trying to work out the details regarding how he could prevent bruno’s death tho. maybe bruno will still have to die but I'm thinking about it

ALSO bc of avdol’s influence i think fugo would hum and haw over if he should go with the bucci gang some more. i dont think he actually will tag along completely, BUT he doesnt just leave he just does some sniffing around from the inside. they’ll meet up again later rather than fugo tagging along from the beginning. like fugo is like “yall r crazy. let me do sum research and ill get back to you” and maybe fugo finds polnareff that way (lmfao could u imagine. pol gets kakyoin flashbacks)

ANYWAY. since I'm still not sure abt the details of avdol’s impact on the PLOT, lemme get into character dynamics

giorno: big mentor figure, probably steals some (a lot) of bruno’s thunder in this regard. giorno just rlly respects him and avdol acknowledges giorno is a very hardworking kiddo (which giorno appreciates). i imagine he grows very fond of him throughout the events of va. idk if it would ever cross the line of mentor-protegee to father-son but regardless they're rlly close and giorno values his opinions a lot when he becomes the don even tho avdol says he doesnt wanna be involved in mafia business (and he doesnt but he cares more about the well being of his kids ie the buccigang than staying away from organized crime)

fugo: fugo is like a crazy thrashing dog that is going insane and yet never turns to nip at its owner who is holding it back (in this case that is avdol). yea i imagine avdol and fugo have a good relationship Eventually but it takes fugo some time understandably to accept/warm up to it cause of his issues with authority figures and how they've done him dirty before. avdol is nothing if not a patient man tho and i imagine fugo eventually comes to rlly trust him which is why he decides to squirrel around to get buccigang some info on the inside of the gang rather than disembark completely

narancia: nara would be as hostile as he can be at first i feel like cause he might think avdol is trying to replace bruno but once he learns avdol is a) not in the gang and will never be in the gang he’s not trying to take anyone’s position and b) sees BRUNO warm up 2 avdol, he accepts him very fast. it’s like a switch flipped it’s v sudden and intense change in demeanor. avdol is kinda surprised but like he’ll take it. avdol thinks nara is very funny and he helps him out w schooling when fugo is gone. avdol also listens to nara’s music w him and gives him recommendations which narancia is SUPER HAPPY ABT cause no one was willing to talk music with him before (indulge him and let HIM talk abt it yes, but never respond in turn and have a conversation before). nara loves avdol and avdol loves him in return. fun family (:

mista: hmm i cant see mista and avdol being suuuper close?? at least not at first but they def get along. but when avdol gets comfortable enough w the buccigang to do his funky fun smartass stuff sometimes (like how he was during the judgement fight) mista and him get a LOT closer. mista thinks avdol is the funniest man on the planet and they can have good talks. avdol is a good person to think out loud with which i think mista kinda needs. also I'm sure avdol is enamored with the sex pistols. not many stands can even talk yet these lil guys have outright personalities of their own. avdol joins mista during feeding time just cause he’s rlly intrigued by these lil guys. mista was a little weirded out at first but since warming up to avdol he doesnt mind (:

trish: HIS DAUGHTER NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!! he’s got the age, he’s got the kindness, he’s got the patience, he’s got the respect, HE!!!!!! IS. HER DAD NOW. avdol might've laid the sympathy on a little too thick when they first met so trish might not have liked him much at first, but he notices she’s rlly stressed out and talks her thro it/lets her speak her mind which is rlly nice. trish hasn't ever had anyone prompt her to lose her shit before helping her to piece back together again but tis nice. when trish is supposed to be dropped off with diavolo, she actually hugs avdol (: also when trish awakens spice girls u BET avdol is rooting her on and helping her get more comfortable w her stand. avdol is thinks spice girls is rlly fuckin cool and combined w spice girls and avdol’s guidance, trish actually gets rlly handy at using her stand. pls imagine magician’s red and spice girls just chilling. thanks. anyway if avdol were to legally adopt ANYONE in the buccigang it would be trish. trish lives w him after va

abbacchio: i don't think avdol and abbacchio would be besties but bruno trusts him and narancia likes him so i think abbacchio wouldn't hate him despite them first meeting bc of giorno lolol. so like they're civil but i cant imagine their interactions getting warmer until after avdol tags along when they split up from the gang. abbacchio is like “why tf r u even still here” and avdol is like “YOURE the oldest here and ur only 21 u need an actual adult. no but i just wanna watch over the kids and make sure they're safe” abbacchio respects that. also avdol encouraging trish to train w spice girls is why trish is able to keep abbacchio from getting a fist through the torso (she makes him rubbery as spice girls can do so he can withstand the punch king crimson gives him) and he's kinda grateful bc of that to both abbacchio And trish. uhh yeah. lol. also avdol has good taste in wine which abbacchio can respect

bruno: FINALLY the man himself. for a long time he is just politely friendly towards avdol cause idk if bruno would know how to deal w someone who would be more likely to be a mentor to Him rather than vice versa but as avdol and him spend more time together and watch over the kiddos and abbacchio together they get more comfortable. idk if they’d ever get close close but bruno can rely on avdol and he does during the final fight. when they come out victorious bruno kinda promises him he’ll always have a home in italy if he needs anywhere to rest it’d be sweet (: avdol in turn would say if ur ever in egypt just ask around and u’ll find me

okay back to rambling about spectre except im not adding to that one ramble reblog chain

Okay so obviously they work for Queen since they work and probably live at the mansion

Their position isn't as high as Swatch but they are above most Swatchlings in terms of position

They do a very specific job and I'd say they're decently known for it to those who come visit Color Cafe

This idea comes from my friend, but we know that the Swatchlings do dumb stuff for Queen while remaining all fancy and stuff

Well, even if Queen genuinely cares about Spectre actually enjoying working there, just for the fun of it she goes "ight bestie well so you can keep your special role and all that make a show for me"

and they do

occasionally, Spectre will perform for Queen or any others who might want to watch with either skating or ice skatin

Or better yet...

An entire fucking musical

On skates

with all the other Swatchlings

And they fucking LOVE doing this shit!! I mean they already do soe occasional performance or trick or two at Color Cafe but they can go all out here

Even if they don't do proper ice skating as often (I think they might've even done it competetively for a while) they still love putting on any kind of a show and

They rlly enjoy making others happy so they go

Wether or not the other Swatchlings enjoy this goes from Swatchling to Swatchling but I can tell that some of them feel absolute dread when Spectre is like AYO WE DOING ANOTHER PERFORMANCE SOMETIME THE QUEEN WANTS YOU IN AND YES WE'LL HAVE CANONS PSPSPSPSPSP

They're already more energetic, jolly and silly than the usual Swatchling and while they're also pretty fancy and composed most of the time they can let their energy out on this

Also like, they do enjoy like, standing out and having attention on them so this is a bonus

Queen does genuinely enjoy this stuff and I am sure at first she was like lmao do this hell yeah sounds fun I dunno but I think she quickly realized yo y'all got talent

Spectre definitely overapologizes and if they screw a thing up they feel BAD BAD about it

They actually wear those protective covers on their knees because I think with how the Swatchlings can bounce with their entire body in that one attack they have

I think they're like... Pretty beefy you know? Like they also deinitely have a hard head like you cannot hurt them that way

HOWEVER skidding down like nasty ass concrete and getting a nasty fuckin scratch on your knees isnt fun anyone who went thru that can say sdfgsrgeth since fallin down on your head on something hard and skidding down a hard floor at high speeds are different kinds of damage

So they wear those since they wanna avoid that lol, they're a skilled skater, but you'd never know

They're also pretty scared of the Maice like the other Swatchlings, they're just so fast and tiny y'know

They probably don't like Tasque Manager even if they're covorkers

They like having fun sometimes and like... Bro... Not EVERYTHING HAS TO BE PERFECTLY ORDERED SHUT UP

They definitely draw little smiley faces and doodles on the customer's checks :)

If you're an asshole their niceness could possibly be exploited

They're not stupid and not so completely pacifistic as Ralsei, but they don't wanna hurt people either especially emotionally since it's very complex stuff

They still have beef with people though, like I said with Tasque Manager like they're definitely not perfect

While as a whole they're like

I think Swatch is secretly also somewhat energetic, but not as much as Spectre

They are very talkative and love to talk, and tend to overshare as seen in their dialogue where they cut themselves off from telling a secret to a complete stranger

I think that's how Spectre knows all about the basement since they not only work with Swatch, are good friends but Swatch is also like

Dude yo so there's this creepy ass machine in the basement uh yeah don't let anyone in lol but yeah i helped build it

I like to think when they're not working bc I don't think they all work 24/7 there I think Queen would care about shifts somewhat and the well being of her workers in the long run even if she does stupid stuff with them (together) or tells them to do stupid shit sometimes

aaand while they MIGHT live at the mansion I am not sure i haven't decided yet, but I think they would

They still love coming back to the city often as they grew up there and they think it's a charming place

I wonder if they ever skated into the darker calmer streets of the city and met up with spamton post his prime and theyre like

Hi there, I'm really interested, whom you see fitting: 31,female,straight, 1,70m but chubby. I'm more the listener than the talker, introverted, submissive, daydreamer a bit chaotic and loyal but also stubborn, hate to show weakness, don't talk about emotions and very unforgiving if wronged. Need someone to kick my ass. I'm not very trusting but cherish those who are dear to me. Towards them, I'm caring,supportive and humorous. I like cryptozoology, chickens and find lava hypnotically calming. Here comes the more in-dept description I mentioned, hope it makes things a bit easier for you. English isn't my native tongue so I hope there aren't too many dramatic mistakes in here. As stated before, I'm female 31 and about 1,70m, chubby – therefore the nick Quaily. Zodiacs are Gemini and Dragon and personality is INFJ. I prefer cold temperatures but love to watch fires/lava and prefer Night over day. I'm not the healthiest of persons suffering from mental and physical illnesses but I refuse to let people openly know about it if it is not absolutely necessary – I don't want pampering or pity. I'm introvert, polite, calm, a very good listener and caretaker. I'm very submissive and insecure around most people and can't deal well with mistakes. I tend to rip myself apart mentally about it because either I KNEW better but did it wrong anyway OR because I let someone down. That is something I can't take well: disappointing people. I CAN be attentive but loose interest in stuff pretty fast if it bores me or make me bend myself too much but if it is something really interests me, I'm easily able to give 200% for it. Still, I'm a lazy mutt that needs to get her ass kicked most of the time but in general I am easy to work with if I have someone, who can motivate me and keeps me motivated. I'm a loner, making bad experiences with people in my early childhood, it let me stay away from friendships and social contacts till today. I don't have a big need for physical contact since emotional support and reliability is more important to me – too much physical contact makes me uneasy. Another huge problem is my very high need for freedom. I can't stand it if someone is constantly around me, it stresses me extreme. I hardly fully trust people: just because I say I trust someone, doesn't mean I don't expect a betrayal at some point. That also resulted in a rather dark-ish , morbid view of things; let me also have a point of view, that collides with most people. Still, I tend to think in the motto: “live and let live” as long someone is polite and friendly, I'll stay so as well. Yet, I'm stubborn and very unforgiving if wronged, betrayed or mistreated. What I also can't deal with are honest compliments and honest kindness. People that mean something to me can be counted on one hand with digits to spare. Those few mean everything to me and I support them wherever and with whatever I can. I even empathize with them on a level, that makes me change my mood according to theirs. I might not be able to stand up for myself but for them I can and I will so fiercely. That said, my temper sometimes get a bit too lose – especially when my emotion starts to go high wire - and I say things before my mind starts working but I mostly see my mistake (after a bit of cooling down). If someone is willing to talk to me after that and be forgiving – friend won! In my free time; I love to read (thriller, horror, fantasy, science mostly), draw (creature design, model painting), listen to music, relax, spending time with my animals or just going for a walk. My interests are cryptozoology, toxicology, genetics, quails and military aircraft. I really love the sound of thunderstorms, rain and the look/movement of lava. I tend to hold monologues when alone and cluck like a chicken when totally happy. Yes.. well … I tried to keep it helpful without giving you all the psychological disaster. I left stuff out, that wouldn't be helpful like favorite movies / shows, books etc. but in One Piece, I would be a total fan of the “Sora, Warrior of the sea” - saga. This is more of a case of opposites attract because when it comes down to it, you two function and think in totally opposite ways. But! Once you two get past this, you two offer each other unique perspectives that helps you both individually grow as people and thus can improve your relationship. There are plenty of differences that arrive throughout your relationship, but the more you two get to know each other, you’ll start to notice you two have more in common than what meets the eye! When in private, he embraces your softer sides because it relaxes him so much. He respects and understands that you’re not one for physical affection and on the flip side, he himself struggles with offering you emotional support, so I think Akainu resorts to taking care of you in more of an “acts of service” kind of way. He’s not very interested in being overly cuddly with you, but he won’t lie and say he does enjoy holding you in his arms after a long, stressful day of work. You two are able to thrive in a shared household because you both crave organization and order in your lives, so hey, at least you know you can live with the guy! By wanting some one to “kick your ass” I’m assuming you mean someone to call you out on your bullshit and put you in your place when needed -- Akainu is plenty capable of that. Ever since I was young, life has been hard for me to adjust to. At the age of twelve, I had fallen ill to a disease known as meningitis, and it damaged my hearing. As a result, I became deaf. Sure, I had learned sign language and become part of a wonderful community, full of other people like me. Aside of that, my life at school had changed drastically. People were looking at me like I was some disabled little girl who needed twenty four hour assistance. They made me feel that my brain didn't work, when it was just my ears that failed me. I would always beg my dad to buy me hearing aids so I could be like everyone else again, but we could never afford them. As an adult, I still can't afford them. It doesn't matter how much I've matured since then, people are still mean. Almost nobody didn't want me work in their facility, since I'm a-- and I quote, "hazard." Dating has even been a headache and a half. As soon as I mention that I'm deaf, hearing people are instantly intimidated and give me sympathy. That was my mindset until this one guy came along. His name is Peter, but he says everyone calls him Bruno. It was kind of funny how we met. Not really funny when you think of what actually happened, but still...

Three Years Ago...

Bruno's POV

"Yeah. I know. I love you too, ma. Take care of yourself," I said, ending the phone conversation with my mother, and shoving my phone in my back pocket. Eric nudged me, making me look at the smirk playing on his face. "Aww, Bru loves his mommy," he teased, in a childish voice, and I raised my eyebrow at him, "Don't act like she doesn't still kiss your boo boos." He laughed and we both got into our separate cars. I was jamming to Let Me Clear My Throat, while cruising through the traffic of LA. "Yeah! Rock to the rhythm of the funky rhyme. So I can get busy just one more time, to the beat and ya don't quit. It's dat ol' skool rap with dat new skool hit," I rapped, getting way into the music. I turned the volume down some, only to hear a series of cars honking. They weren't honking at me because I wasn't doing anything wrong. I looked to the left and I saw this woman crossing the street into oncoming traffic. She didn't seem to mind it though. What really got me was when an eighteen-wheeler was coming fast her way, and he was honking trying to get her attention. I hurriedly unbuckled my seat belt, and ran as fast as I could over to her, and swooped her out of the way just in the nick of time. We ran back to my car, and I helped her in, and I got back on the driver's side. I took a minute to catch my breath, and then I turned to look at her. She was quite pretty. "Are you okay," I asked her, but she didn't even look up. It had gotten pretty awkward after some minutes. She finally raised her head up, and looked at me. "What the hell," she said, in some sort of accent. She hit me with all the power she had, and I grabbed her hands. "What's wrong with you, woman? I literally just saved your life, and all you can do is hit me," I yelled, but she kept frowning and staring at my lips.

Nadeen's POV

I punched this guy in the shoulder as many times as I could before he took hold of my hands. He furrowed his eyebrows and started rambling on about something, and I looked at his lips to try and catch what he was saying. He was talking too fast, and I only caught saved your life....hit me. "Hey. I need you to slow down please. I'm deaf," I said, pointing to my ears and watching as his eyes softened. "Oh. I'm sorry," he said, smiling innocently. I cracked a smile too, knowing that he didn't take pity on me. "I was just saying that you could have thanked me for saving you from that truck," he said, a bit slower this time. I politely smiled and shook his hand that was still holding mine. "Wait. What do you mean saved my life," I asked to clarify. He just shook his head, and turned to face the road, and I kept my focus on his lips. They were small, but they were so adorable. "When you were walking across the street, there were a bunch of cars honking at you to tell you that a big truck was coming your way," he then said, and I nodded. Present Day....

Nadeen's POV

Bruno and I had just gotten married and we were on our honeymoon. Later in our relationship, I learned that he was a famous singer. Even though I've been with him to the studio, and watched him practice, I would just love to hear him sing. To make me feel better, he's canceled numerous of practice sessions to learn his songs in sign language for me. Despite not being able to hear him, I'm just lucky that I can see him as he sings. There's this little vein on the side of his neck that appears when he's really getting into whatever he's singing. I fall more in love with him everyday. Currently, we were in our luxury suite, just cuddling up on the bed. He softly rubbed my arm to get my attention, and I turned to him and smiled. His brown eyes peered through mine as he sat up. I sat up with him and looked at him. "You know I love you right," he signed, and I couldn't help but blush. I nodded and signed, "I love you much more Bruno." He looked down sheepishly, and I watched as his cheeks turned a dark shade of red. "I got a gift for you," he said, and I grabbed his hands and kissed them. "You didn't have to get me anything," I said verbally. Being the stubborn person that he is, he instructed me to close my eyes, and I did.

Bruno's POV

I remember Nadeen telling me how much she wanted hearing aids, because she wanted to hear the sounds around her again. I went to one of the audiologists. Since I did not bring her in for a fitting, I bought a universal pair, and she does not know it. He even installed the battery and everything. All I wanted was for her to be happy. She was still facing me, with her eyes closed. I carefully took them out of the box, and placed one on either ear, and turned them on. I smiled widely, and just waited for the magic to begin. Her eyes fluttered open, and they stared at me. "You got me earrings," she signed, and I shook my head. "Something better," I said, and she gasped. My heart was pounding against my chest. Did she actually hear me? "Bru- wait! Is that my voice," she asked, a smile beginning to show on her face. "Can you hear me," I asked, and her eyes filled with tears. "Peter. What did yo," she cut herself off, and took one of the hearing aids out and stared at it in her hand. "I love you so much," she signed, engulfing me in a bear hug, and I hugged back. She suddenly pulled away and I smiled at her. "Would you sing to me, please?" I blushed. "My voice isn't anything special," I said, and she playfully hit my arm. "That's not what Twitter says. Now sing," she giggled, poking my belly. I cleared my throat and sang Just The Way You Are to her, and when I finished, she just cried even more. "You're so beautiful Bruno. Don't ever change." From that point, she made me sing to her everyday. I'm more than glad that I was the one to make her wish come true.

I drove all the way your house in the middle of the night. Tell myself this is nothing really. Do what you need to convince me. You always have been good at listening. Echo your thoughts, You see me seeing you. You talk over me. I don’t mind. Our laughter coincides. Now I’m feeling fine. I want to stop time. You put James and Giant Peach on your television. There’s so much on my mind you get. I can do so many things with my own bare hands. You pick them up; answer my metaphor. Nothing is complicated. You wrap your legs around my torso. We softly tumble and we become one. Its movie time and there’s blankets. we are infinite. I never want to leave your bedroom. Morning never came. You stand in the kitchen and say everything’s going to be okay. I remember not believing you. I drive away alone feeling miserable and empty. I’ve never felt so empty in my life. the drive home, the polite lady, the fireplace. it all just went away.

Now everything’s alright.
