"God... why did it have to rain now... it was fine a moment ago... *sigh* guess that's why it's called the Everrain..." Claudia carefully walked the wet grass as she looked around this big ecosystem, it is fascinating to see one being able to grow and survive in a territory where it's mostly nothing... the Underworld... fascinating indeed... Drips of rainwater fell onto Claudia's head, she huffed softly, should of brought an umbrella with her... or a raincoat... She didn't think packing a few supplies would be helpful for her... but now she was starting to understand why those... Chaotic players were carrying bags and traveling out of the safehaven...to a place called Perim... franking she thought this world had nothing to offer but that changed very quickly... Two worlds in one... this was rare... Claudia huffed as she felt the puddles on her shoes, this is becoming a problem, probably should leave and come back later, maybe when it isn't pouring out. She looked through her pocket as she grabbed her scanner, she didn't understand why she needed this in the first place, sure for quick travel but the players used it for scanning creatures... ridiculous if you asked her... She went to try to get her back to Chaotic, only to pause... Strange... she felt something... something watching her... she turned but saw no one, no Chaotic players or anything, she was alone... yeah, she was by herself... surely no one else is here... because no creature or human would come close to here... something about it being dangerous when it rained, but please, that was it... it couldn't be that bad right- Claudia's ears caught a sound, she turned around to her other side... whatever it was, it was fast and it disappeared. She huffed softly, "You know, it is shameful to try to scare me..." She listened carefully, "You would regret messing with me... I can promise you that..." Nothing, silence... except for the rain dropping and hitting on the plants and water, water? Claudie looked and noticed the stream near her. She kept searching for whoever it was but nothing, probably got scared and left, good riddance then... she would of showed them what would of happened, but for now, she has to leave as she lifted her scanner to head out... The black screen mirrored something, she blinked, it looked white with shine coming from it... wait... she was in front of the scanner and the reflection was... from behind her... Her head turned softly as her eyes widened in fear. Sparks pulsed around this creature's body, misty and invisible well for the most part but Claudia could see it all, the horns glowing and the eyes... the four eyes staring down at her. It moved forward to her, she was about to tell it to stop but she missed her footing and fell on her behind to the ground, her scanner fell as it landed on the ground where the creature was, dammit... Claudia was about to move but couldn't, her nerves were stopping her... she hated the feeling of fear... The creature looked at her as she stared back at him, now she was wishing she packed something, at least a weapon.... but he watched her and she watched him... she had heard of players encounters with the creatures in Perim but she didn't think a player mentioned a creature like him... maybe because they didn't see him... but boy she sees him... It was a stand off for a bit till Claudia just went for her scanner, she had no time for a staring contest as she reached for it, she felt the electricity from a hand.. no a claw as it grabbed her arm, she yelped softly, she is not dying today! With her other hand went to reach for something when- "Holy smokes! What's that!?" a voice cried out, as the creature's eyes widened and turned to where the sound was coming from, a boy, a Chaotic player, oh boy, "A new creature I can't wait to scan you," the boy gleed but that smile change to terror as the creature let out a anger screech and leaped for the player, letting go of Claudia's arm as she grabbed what she needed, a talisman paper. Well she wasn't going to let that unfortunate soul be killed, it would be a problem for her and this creature... She used her paper as it created a water ball and she threw it at the creature as it hit it... the player ran as he gave up on scanning it and ported away from the scene. The creature turned to Claudia as it came to her closely, glaring and growling, though she didn't see the mouth... or any at all, the eyes were telling it was angry. She was ready to fight, but the creature did something unexpected... it lean down and- "Leave now..." It spoke to her, her eyes widened at the voice, then it screeched at her as her body took control and grabbed her scanner and port away from it... She was safely back at the safehaven called Chaotic, and was soak and wet, and traumatized, how do these players survive out there... well, it didn't matter, her mind was still on that creature and how it was attacking any player that looked at it or tried to scan it... her ears heard a crowd and the boy she saw in the Everrain talking about this creature and how it attacked him. They wanted to go see it... Claudia sighed, they never learn... it will attack them again and maybe kill one... she wasn't going to let that happen, she went to the restrooms to get dried up and head out again.. 'I need to learn more about this creature...' ------------------------------------ Well, it's happening and honestly never thought I would draw this out one day. I was having a not so great week, and then I remembered about an old show and card game called Chaotic and that it was a pretty interesting concept, it was basically like Yugioh and Pokemon but the show made it better as you get to become a creature you scanned and battle with other players and travel to a place called Perim and meet other creatures. The show is on youtube if you want to see it, the first season is a little rough but the second season gets better. Honestly it helped me feel a little better and drawing this made me feel 10x better. Link to the playlists:

I played around with the background and the creature, named Ilx (A favorite of mine, and yes, he's my number one fav XD ) The style and just the lighting and colors were fun to do. I enjoyed it and helped me try something new. I hope to do more of this and talk about this game. X3

And yes, Claudia is going on an adventure here in the SketchQuest AU, and boy it's something. I do have her story planned and with what's she's up to in this world and why she's there and the meeting with Ilx and well... what else happens hehe... I do hope to share it one day. Honda is recalling more than 2.5 million vehicles over potentially faulty fuel pumps. In documents posted on the National Highway Transportation Safety Administration's website, Honda said affected models include 2018 through 2020 editions of some of its most popular vehicles, including Accords, Civics and CR-Vs. The recall also includes several popular models from Honda's luxury division, Acura — like the MDX and RDX sport-utility vehicles, and the TLX and ILX sedans. The fuel pump inside the fuel tank may fail, Honda said, leading to stalled engines and increasing the risk of a crash.
