If someone were to order you a drink at a coffee/tea/drink shop what would be your order?

I would definitely have to say hot cocoa! 🥹☕️I'm not the biggest fan of hot beverages; so, I sort of have the palate of a child when it comes to that realm.

But!! If I were ordering any beverage at a coffee/tea shop, I would probably order a variation of an iced oatmilk latte with lavender - or a green tea boba! 🍵💓

This may sound trivial, but I applied for an exchange program and the host family who wants to host me lives in Washington state. They said they could take me to forks. you don't have to answer this, but what do you do when your depression feels unbearable? how do you get through it? asking for a friend (myself)

hi! hey. i’m gonna answer this because i know how terribly lonely, empty and desolate it feels to go through depression that is so unbearable.

i think my go to coping mechanism is listening to music, especially if i can’t sleep? music or silly podcasts, especially songs that feel comforting or even some that hurt a little more than they should. podcasts, just to have someone talk at me that keeps me from thinking anxious or sad thoughts. i have a good cry at one point because that shit is necessary. i know that the worst thing is to wait it out until it’s passed, so everything that makes it a little lighter helps.

i also tend to write down how i feel? it’s cathartic and more than once writing has made it feel a little better. at one point, last year, it was the only thing that dragged me out of a deep depressive episode. i find things to watch or fixate on that comfort me, that have nothing to do with what might have triggered an episode. (this time, silly enough, it was got7 and ateez)

i’m someone who isolates himself when he’s depressed (much to the chagrin of my friends and family), but people is all we have. sometimes talking to your mom or one of your friends is all you can do to not go completely insane.

i hope this helps. i hope you can feel a little better soon. i’ve just made it out of one of the worst episodes i’ve ever had, and it’s always just around the corner. but so are the things that can heal and comfort you. i love you, hang in there.
