His memory is what he considers his best quality. He’s always had an inclination to know things, before and after his service, though his training bolstered his ability.

It’s a blessing and a curse. While this makes him skilled at remembering the big picture, it’s helped him retain every detail of one particular memory. One he can’t decide if he’d rather hold on to or forget —not that he has a choice.

It’s the night you left him.

There was always the spoken promise of more that faded into daydreams and empty words. In the beginning that was enough for you. Holding on to the possibility of a different life with Santiago was enough to make you giddy, the affection for him swimming through every vein in your body like a sugar rush.

But with each mission away the bed got colder. Cooking for one got depressing, and endless days of seemingly wanting more alone weighed heavy on you. The thought of living life like this, waiting for him to be ready to let the hustle of his world go made you hopeless.

Santi remembers the deafening silence that filled his apartment when he got home from the op that night. Usually you’d be propped on the couch, curled in piles of blankets with some cheesy rom-com on. He’d kiss you breathless, until you’d push him away and demand he take a shower, and he’d happily comply joining you on the couch not 10 minutes later. But that time, no rom-com. No kisses. You’d even gone so far to start a load of laundry, the dryer was the only sound inside the apartment once he could stop focusing on how quiet it was without you.

And most importantly he remembers the note that sat in the middle of the kitchen island. It felt like the moon's rays shone right through the windows and created a spotlight, his full name sprawled in your delicate script on the stark white envelope. He sat down on a stool, ran his hands over his face before he slowly unfolded the stationary. As he read, tears dripped onto the page before he even registered that they were in his eyes. Where water usually puts out fires, his tears might as well have been gasoline, the sight of them stoking the angry fire burning inside of him.

He’d been so angry; at himself, at you, at all of the circumstances.

He still is.

This life has never been fair to him, no matter how much he tries to rationalize and invalidate his own experiences, and this is just another slight to drive his racing mind mad.

What he does know is that you’re gone and nothing will ever be the same— just when he was accepting that life was starting to feel right.

Just when he was thinking he might be worthy of something.

He can remember all of those details because it keeps him from feeling. He stacks all the details of that night nice and neat together, filing every negative emotion they could illicit away. They are just facts, things that just happened because if he looks any further he’ll crumble.

He keeps the letter tucked in his wallet, but never pulls it out.

It’s been 6 months and sometimes it feels like time as flown by. When he's behind the barrel of a gun, deep in hot humid jungles shouting orders, he can almost forget. He can get so zeroed in on the mission that the permanent scar on his heart seems to fade. But when he makes it back to his bunk, staring up at some cracking white ceiling in the soft light of a lantern time feels syrupy slow. In the still moments the words you etched about his shortcomings rain like lava on his skin.

He gets home and there’s snow on the ground, crunching under his heavy boots as he walks the parking lot of his apartment complex. He thinks of you when he steps in the foyer, remembering yet again why he’s hardly been home since you left him.

It always hits in the spanse of these four walls, and today it’s too much. Santi showers, starts a load of laundry before he’s back out in the snowy streets, bundled up in a puffy coat and beanie. The drive to a bar you two used to frequent is short.

It’s more crowded than he expects until he realizes it’s a Saturday night. He’ll get a drink and get out, maybe go for a drive until he’s sleepy enough to turn off his brain. He’s halfway through his first drink when he hears your laugh— it cuts straight to his heart.

His head turns to find you immediately, and he wishes he’d minded his business. You’re on what looks like a double date and you look happy, genuinely happy. He’s throwing a wad of cash at the bartender, not bothering to finish his drink, when your gazes connect. You stand up from your seat and he starts towards the door, gliding through the crowded bar with grace and ease.

“Santiago,” You call after him once you’re both outside, and you shiver, realizing you didn’t bring your coat.

He stops in his tracks, running a hand over his face with a loud sigh but he doesn’t say a word, doesn’t turn around, hoping that this is just another sick joke that the universe is playing on him.

“Were you just gonna leave without saying anything?” You ask from behind him, wounded by the way it seemed so easy for him to walk away from you. Especially when it took a ridiculous amount of effort for you to walk away from him.

He hates you. Not really, but he hates that after all this time you know exactly what to say to get him to talk to you.

He turns around with haste, his voice is accusing and cold as tonight’s air, “What, like you did?”

“I explained why I left and I did it thoroughly,” You say firmly, anger beginning to creep into your sadness.

“Yeah, in a fucking letter, like a fucking coward. You couldn’t wait for me to get home? For us to talk?”

You take a deep breath, looking down at your feet as you speak, “No, Santi, I couldn’t.”

“Please, enlighten me on why not? I bet it’s good,” He drawls sarcastically.

Your anger that usually simmers low starts to boil. After all he’s put you through it seems he’s blaming you for everything. “Because I would’ve stayed!”

Those words make his heart flutter with hope but he knows better. He points a finger at you angrily, scowling, “Fuck off. Your mind was made up.”

“If I would’ve waited for you to get home, you would’ve told me everything I wanted to hear just like you always do, and I would’ve stayed. I loved you Santiago, I still do, but I couldn’t wait for you to come home to spew more lies. For you to come home in one of those fucking boxes. Or worse, for you to not come home at all because you’re doing something stupid and off-grid. I know what I signed up for, but I just…I thought that maybe you were telling the truth when you said you wanted to let it all go. To start a real life with me,” You rest your hand on your chest as if to emphasize your point, and you could almost cringe at how desperate your voice sounds.

But you need him to understand. To get that making this decision has hurt you as much as it hurt him.

He stands there, mouth agape, mind void of any response. He’s never seen you so angry, you’re his sweet baby— were his sweet baby — and to see your eyes consumed with dark rage makes him speechless. You look like a storm, a beautiful one, your eyebrows furrowed, stance wide and standoffish with your arms crossed against your chest. “No, no, that’s not what I’m saying. But your promises? Our hopes and dreams and plans? They were nothing to you.”

He squeezes the flesh of your arms gently, some despondent look in his eye, “That’s bullshit and you know it. I love you.”

“I know,” The words come out of you with a frustrated sigh.

“Then come home.”

It’s all too much. You shouldn’t be here grasping at the frayed edges of your failed relationship. He shouldn’t be here, ready to get on his knees for it. None of this should be happening— it’s time to go.

“Santi, stop, please. I can’t do this again,” You beg, looking down at the ground again but he dips down to catch your glance, ignoring the protest from his already aching knees.

“I’ll change, baby, I’ll give you whatever you want, just come home to me.”

“That’s the thing, I want you to do what you want. What you want is to be out in the world, making calls and being in charge. And maybe you want me to, but I come second.”

“(Y/N), everything okay?” Your friend calls from behind you, her boyfriend and his friend hovering behind her.

You take a step away from Santi and give her a forced reassuring smile, “Everything’s fine, I’ll meet you at the car.”

She hovers for a moment but you nod towards the car, signaling that everything’s fine. When they start to walk away you turn back to Santi, barely able to meet his eye.

“It was good to see you alive, I was worried, didn’t know if you had…” You clear your throat, leaving the sobering thought unfinished. “I need to go, I have to.”

Santi makes a disagreeable sound in the back of his throat, circling his arm around you waist to pull your body flush against his, “Baby, don’t do this, come on-“

“Hush, Santiago, it’s okay. You’re okay,” Your hand strokes at his cheek soothingly. He melts into the touch, humming softly and the sight breaks your heart all over again.

You can’t help it, you lean in and rest your nose against his, “Take care of yourself please. For me?”

He nods, and you can hear the defeat in his whispered reply, “Yeah. Got it, I will.”

Neither of you can tell if the shared wetness on your cheeks is from the falling snow or tears. Neither of you wants to clarify.

Santi watches you walk away, agreeing with your earlier sentiment— he feels empty.

No amount of thoughts or emotions about the conversation you’ve just had can fill him up. For once in his life he’s so emotional that he can’t be anxious, he can’t plan or reroute or strategize. Yk what ive already made all my statements abt the teen wolf movie on instagram but imma say it here

As much as i love and breath teen wolf, its not the perfect show which is fine bc recognizing that is what makes its good. The thing is the movie? Godawful. The one thing i can appreciate is that the movie had an opening and the graohic design was cool

My problems with it?

-the plotline being abt allison. I think alisson (is it allison or alisson?) Is a fine character especially in s3, however, you killed her off. That whole s3 ending was abt her dying and isaac leaves BECAUSE of allison dying. Now ur gonna reopen that plotline that was TIED OFF? Ur not even gonna get stiles or isaac back into play even tho theyre arguably the most important for that season. And ur not gonna tell us how s6 ended??? Even with a flashforward of 2 years??

-the fbombs. Im sorry, what? U make a show that doesnt use f bombs at all and u make it creepy and horror but when u make the movie thats r rated meaning u can go even harder... u use it on fbombs? Might i add in the worst way possible. "Darkness motherfucker" wow. It just sounds so cringey. Either use it once meaningfully or dont drop one at all. U managed to make s3 be creepy without it do it again

-why the absolute fuck was liam in japan. By the hour and a half mark that question wasnt explained and it never was. Him and this girl hikari (whos gr8 actually) are just in japan and i guess own a bar??? I dont even know what they are to eachother let alone how they ended up there. I only knew that they love eachother bc they say that in jpn but like still??? Is it a sibling ily or a were dating and ily?

-the actors. Im sorry but if ur gonna get all these actors like masons and parrish and malia and whoever but u give them like what one line? Mason had legit like 2 lines in that movie. And u dont even know how he beacme a police officer! He just is! And they dont even say anything abt corey??? U could easily get his actor i know he aint doin anything rn. Liam and hikari? Also have like 3 lines in the movie

-personal thing lol but not everyone looks good with a beard and a shaved head

-lydia and stiles. Just bc u coudnt get dylan obrien cuz hes like the most succesful does NOT mean u just break up the couple that u built for six. seasons. You couldve said literally anything you couldve said stiles was dealing with some fbi shit or another supernatural disaster. Lydia having the dream? Tragic but stiles wouldnt have cared bc he loves her and wouldve just wanted to be with her forever.

-how can u not tell us who elis mother is. We ALLLL wanna know who derek banged im sorry but he slept with the enemy like three times and with his history and family history everyone just wants to know who it was.

-dereks death. WHAT THE FUCK this man survived a *pipe* going thru his back for like 10 minutes and survived, got brutally slashed and survived and ur telling me he died by magical fire. Sure teen wolf sure.

-if ur gonna introduce a character like alec in the season finale, bring him into play somehow recast him idc but do smt. Even nolan! Someone !

-what was with the whole nogitsune temple thing?? It was so... not scary at all and it looked bad. Like idk it was just so kiddy. Like oh noooo we re trapped bc we re tied to a pole with rope -_-

-sorry but again why continue a plotline that has been tied off? And not continue with the one that was open ended when u cant even get the significant actors for the s3 plotline? Bring daniel sharman into play, medicis over he has the freetime.

-malia and scott breaking up is also stupid bc again they were "endgame" and they had no reason to break up other than the fact that allison was alive again and for plot reasons.

-harrison coming back was so stupid i was so glad they killed him off even tho i guess they never found his body. I was hoping

-are argent and melissa not dating anymore? Its been like 3 months since ive seen the movie so i dont rememeber that but if they arent, why are the writers/producers, whoever, so desperate to break up everything great they had goin at the end of the show.

- wally picks ceramics as his elective and holy shit it is so cute😭

- all that aggression , he’s able to put into working with clay. and maybe certain days he does slam the clay harder on the table than others… but it’s a good stress reliever ! we know wally feels a LOT, and that only intensified in middle school

- kuki does ceramics with him, she’s really gentle with her work unlike… someone else… she’s almost too gentle, but when she’s had a bad day, STAY AWAY because that clay is gonna be fucked up by her LMFAO. her speciality is the glazing/painting part of the class

- hoagie and abby do band together! hoagie attempts the saxophone, and abby plays the flute

- nigel feels stuck between picking electives but ultimately goes the art route because there was no way in hell he was going to be asked to play the sousaphone by his father AGAIN

- these 5 play ninja at recess it gets crazy

- THEY PLAY BOXBALL/4 SQUARE TOO IT GETS EVEN CRAZIER

- at some point in time boxball gets banned for a little bit bc of them mostly wally…. the other kids weren’t too thrilled with them… the glares were deadly i’m telling u middle schoolers are serious about boxball at least i was

- it was finally able to be unbanned when wally threatened to make his own boxball game but instead of a light ball, u used a 10 lb weighted ball ………..

- they all decorate eachothers lockers for their birthdays

- kuki and abby are the two girls who gossip and walk the mile together

- the boys try and outrun eachother in said mile hoagie nearly had an asthma attack

- there’s a shower in the boys locker room and all of the boys were told to never turn it on because it hadn’t been turned on in 20 years. it becomes a game to see which boy in the locker room can get the closest to turning it on

- hoagie holds the record currently . wally is not thrilled by it

- thus wally gets in school suspension for turning on said shower. 3 DAYS OF ISS LMFAO

- wally goes through an axe phase and thinks he smells amazing and tough and masculine. he gets humbled by abby at lunch one random tuesday

- hoagie and wally buy lunch from the school and will play with their food by trying to make the most disgusting combinations. one day they make the entire cafeteria smell so foul that there’s an evacuation 💀

- nigel gets back together with lizzie in 6th grade and they’re the infamous middle school couple. she sits with them at lunch and brings her friends. she beefs with everyone occasionally 😭

- she plays messenger and makes her friends deliver her orders/comments to nigel at recess and throughout the day LOOL

- you know yaga? where you pull someone’s hair and say yaga? wally does that to kuki all of the time. especially during assemblies

- oh but she gets back at him in 8th grade when he starts growing his hair out to be shaggier

- meaning she literally GRABS his entire head of hair to yank back…. the group doesn’t think she knows how to actually play yaga….

- when walking around at recess, everyone likes to stuff random shit in wally’s hood

- kuki eventually drops her elective to switch to chorus. she’s a soprano!

- abby realizes she hates band and changes her elective too. she joins wally and nigel in ceramics. and wow do they TALK in that class

- the only class they all have together is study hall. and the teacher umm… she’s not the most patient. it’s a silent study hall

- and these 5 are awful at being silent -_- the teacher doesn’t even want pure silence she just wants peace. and they’re bad at that

- and because they got to pick their seats in the beginning of the year , hoagie and wally are next to one another, then abby and nigel are next to one another behind them, and kuki is directly in front of hoagie’s desk

- there’s an empty chair next to kuki, and this girl is a social butterfly, people come and sit next to her all of the time

- usually just “girly girls” but occasionally some boys… like maybe Ace or some loser who calls himself “30C” like “who even calls themselves that??”

- the antics are usually fine in study hall i mean it’s the last period of the day, everyone just wants to go home right!!

- wrong there is so much energy in one class

- some kids from their elementary are even in that class, like an irish girl named fanny and joe balooka, the instigator himself… he plays with his yipper cards with hoagie occasionally and so kuki and hoagie swap seats

- they all help wally with his homework

- sometimes they all play uno in study hall

- but everyone typically tries to do their homework, so they don’t have to after school. keyword: TYPICALLY. when all ur friends are in one class together, u don’t always wanna do ur work🤷🏼‍♀️🤷🏼‍♀️

- the note passing is crazy in there. and they’re usually slick with it, but sometimes it’s so much more fun to just be as obvious as possible

- one day wally started it by crumpling up his note, walking to the garbage, pretending to throw it out, and then turning around and throwing it in hoagie’s face

- was it impressive? 100%.…

- to get back at him, hoagie walked around the room only to come back to his desk and to slam the note on wally’s desk and FUCK is it funny for no reason

- and of course this turns into a competition…. kuki is determined to win whatever this game is, nigel rolls his eyes but oh he’s planning something, and abby just keeps covering her mouth to laugh while thinking she’s about to eat this shit up

- it’s kuki’s turn. she writes on the paper and gracefully gets up to the front of the room, and the very first person to the front all the way to right, she says, “pass this to wally please”

- and that note makes it to every single kid in that class LMFAOAOAOAO

- impressive yes. but abby’s up next. she leaves the room, where the hell is she going??? then next thing you know, she’s back, and kuki’s homeroom teacher is calling her to the office 😭😭

Oliver Stark’s Interesting Instagram Behavior pertaining to Buddie Part 2

Hello everyone and welcome to my Oliver Stark’s social media analysis part 2! If you’re new here, here is my original post that I made towards the end of 9-1-1 season 5a! I would encourage you to read the first one before starting this part if you have not. The remainder of everything I have included and analyzed in this part is picked up from where my first part left off!

Once again, this is just a pattern I have noticed with Oliver’s social media behavior and everything I explain is all my own thoughts and analysis. Please take what you will from everything I include in this post. And please refrain from sharing any of this on other social media platforms 💜 

One key thing to remember throughout reading this post is that another pattern I have uncovered, along with some people, is that he tends to delete the most telling posts/stories. It’s like if he wants the people who analyze to know, he will leave the post up for a few minutes, and then delete it. If it is not as important, he will leave it up for the entirety of the 24 hours! Maybe I’m crazy about this, but maybe I’m not, who knows? I will go into more detail with the posts that he deleted and why they were important and why I think this supports my theory as well. With that being said, I will start with 5.10 because I had left off my original post without including the finale, so we will start there!

Oliver posts a BTS from the Christmas finale. He is seen wearing his uniform and a Santa hat. When the finale aired on 12/6/2021, we came to find out it was indeed from the scene he had with Ryan. Buck and Eddie were discussing Christopher missing Shannon during Christmas time at the station. Once again, he teased an upcoming Buddie scene a month before.

December 10, 2021

Oliver posts his first BTS from filming episode 5.11. Nothing too major, but he looks happier and captions the picture with “Happy Friday.”

Now this is definitely not from a scene with Ryan, however I do think this is when Oliver knew for a fact that this half of the season is going to be better than the first half. With that being said, we can theorize that it had something to do with the fact that his relationship with the reporter might've been confirmed to have an upcoming expiration date, so he was just happier going into the second half of the season.

Just wanted to mention, the reason why I say that and know with confidence that Oliver did not like his on screen relationship, is because of the three very telling posts he posted on the night of the infamous “ILY” scene from 5.09

December 12, 2021

Oliver posts this comparison piece to his IG story with no other context whatsoever. So of course, my mind went to him sending us some sort of subliminal message. Especially when I looked into the meaning behind the painting he compared his character to.

The painting is one done by Alexandre Cabanel and it is called The Fallen Angel. I will link the lovely @stagefoureddiediaz​‘s meta as to why Oliver might have shared this comparison in regards to his character Buck. It makes sense because Kym speculated that Buck and Eddie would touch on the trauma the shooting brought to both of them.

This is around when they were filming 5.11. I figured it may be related to him and Eddie, and in the episode we came to see Buck trying to move on after Eddie told him to, which then lead him to get drunk and cheat on his girlfriend. So I mean, it makes sense when you think of the significance of The Fallen Angel. It’s very possible Oliver had already either filmed the cheating scene or read the script for it, so he knew what was coming. Him sharing this comparison makes sense if you think about it.

Oliver likes and comments ‘😍😍😍’ to a beautiful Buddie fan art by @rafascosmic on IG. Once again, he had emphasized before that he will refrain from interacting with Buddie fan art so he would not get people’s hopes up when he didnt know where the story for Buddie was heading. I mean the fact that he is now doing so kinda tells me he has got to know something right?

On New Year’s day, Oliver decides to do his first Q&A of 2022! It is the first of many more to come! He answers one specific question in regards to a Buddie scene from the season 3 finale. You all know the one with the Mardi Gras beads and him accidentally hitting Ryan in the face. He did not have to answer any Ryan/Buddie specific questions, but he chose to do so.

Oliver’s first post back from their holiday break. He posts a selfie of himself wearing a reddish corduroy shirt with a dark t-shirt and captions it “Back to it 🤪”. 

At first, we all jumped to speculate it may be a scene he is filming with JLH. But he quickly deleted that story shortly thereafter. And that is when my other theory kicks in. It made me think, that if it was indeed a scene he was filming with his on screen sister, why not leave it up for the entire 24 hours? So I started speculating it may definitely be a scene he was shooting with Ryan instead. 

Then later on, on March 15th, we got the promo and we saw Eddie breaking down with Buck in the room. The shirt Buck was wearing in that scene looked eerily similar to the same outfit he posted from this day. 

I made a speculation post answering an ask about this and low and behold, in 5.13, I was proven correct because that was indeed the outfit Buck wore when he rushed to Eddie’s house and broke down his door to step into his mess with him.

Oliver literally came back from hiatus and wanted to tease that he was filming this massively important scene with Ryan months before it was set to air.

January 19, 2022

Oliver posted a picture of his and JLH’s chairs and captioned it “Siblings reunited.” Now that it why some of us assumed that he was filming with her the day before as well. However, JLH was filming with Kenny the day before in a hospital and Oliver kept this up on his story for the entire 24 hours. 

Once more I just wanted to highlight the difference in between his posts when he is filming with other co-stars verses when he is filming with Ryan their Buddie scenes.

Oliver posts this cute BTS of him filming for 5.14 “Dumb Luck”. It is not a scene he was filming with Ryan at all. However, it was from his favorite episode of the season. 

We will come to find out later on that he really liked 5.14, as he mentioned it multiple times leading up to the episode. With the airing of the episode, we came to find out why it was his favorite, because it was an important Buck and Eddie episode throughout. 

He did not tease/spoil anything from the actual Buddie scenes, but this was his way of sharing something from that episode, take what you will.

This marks the official countdown for Oliver, leading up to the premiere of the second half of the season.

He posts a BTS of him, once again from episode 5.14. Marks the official month or so countdown! 

This is important because Oliver had not counted down a start of a season in a long while. Given this isn’t even the beginning of a season, he didn’t show this much energy for the actual beginning as much as he did the second half. He seemed genuinely excited for 5b and I did not expect him to count down as heavily as he did.

He also posts two more photos to his story later on, showing off their new firefighter gear. One is the long sleeved option and the other is the short sleeved option.

Not only has he been liking and commenting on Buddie fan art, but on this day, he chose to share 2 beautiful edits made by SkyHighRollins once more! This was the first time he has actively chosen to share anything Buddie related to his IG story! 

There was also one edit including his actual on screen girlfriend, but he did not share that.

Oliver shared a cute picture of him and Aisha on break while filming 5.16 “May Day”.

This is the first of many BTS he shares while filming this episode. Later on in the day, he also shared the photo Aisha took of him to his own story. 

We would come to find out later on that he was also filming with Ryan during these scenes, which makes sense as to why he would wanna share these BTS to his story.

February 28, 2022

Oliver starts up his countdown by sharing an official 9-1-1 promotional still for their 2 week countdown! This was important because like I mentioned in that linked post, he was not actively counting down to the start of season 5, nor was he actively promoting all episodes when they were airing.

He then posts this random video of himself, walking in Buck’s loft. When the camera turns to his face, he is clearly sooty, in his suspenders and he is smirking!!! He then quickly deleted the video, sending us all into a frenzy!!

I had a lot to say about this video because I immediately assumed he had filmed a Buddie scene, hence his smirking face! 

As I explained in one ask response, this video gave off the same vibes as this story he posted right before the hostage episode 5.06!

I immediately made a speculation post answering an ask, eliminating people who I did not think would have shared the screen with him to have him smirking like that!

Low and behold, when 5.16 aired on 5/2/22, I was proven to be spot on when the scene he had teased months in advance was indeed a Buddie scene!!

March 3, 2022

Oliver decides to randomly do another Q&A in his trailer. It is during the day and I have another theory about him filming odd hours in the day, that I will link right here!

Important things to note from this Q&A is that he confirms that he’s the most excited for people to see 5.14 “Dumb Luck”. He states that he thinks, “People are really, really gonna like that one!”

He then answers another ask about whether or not Ryan is still in the show, to which he responds, “Yes, and I have to say that he does some really amazing work in the back half of the season, so yeah look out for that.”

Now why was 5.14 Oliver’s favorite episode? Does it have something to do with the fact that it was such a significant episode for the Buckley-Diaz family? The episode was filled with domestic Buddie moments, Buck being Christopher’s other parent, and ended with the family going on a little outing. Buck was Eddie’s rock in that episode and was the one who brought a genuine smile to his face after his breakdown. Not to mention, it was the episode in which Buck essentially gave Eddie his heart ☺️

Kind of interesting that Oliver kept emphasizing how this is his favorite episode of the season and really wanted us to tune in because he knew we would all enjoy it. I truly wonder why?

Oliver posts a few IG stories with JLH. They are filming together and we hear some police activity happening in the background. I did not know if this was going to be important or not. But as the days went by, and the more information we gathered, I realized that this is the first time he is teasing episode 5.17 “Hero Complex.”

Oliver posts a story of himself, while on break in Maddie and Chimney’s apartment. He turns the camera to quickly show us Ryan’s chair, zooms in a bit at baby pictures, and then cuts the video. He immediately deletes this story after a few minutes, which has to mean this is an important Buddie scene that they were filming. 

This was literally not needed in any way, but he still chose to post it so that he can let us know that he is filming with Ryan!

We come to find out later, that this was the second post he posted, teasing episode 5.17!!

March 9, 2022

Oliver quickly posts a still of Buck in Christopher’s room, wearing the same shirt as he was wearing in the video he posted a day before, letting us know he was filming with Ryan. This gave us further confirmation that his video teaser from the day before was in fact him sharing that he was filming scenes with Ryan.

This officially becomes the third time he is teasing this episode, which made me think that it had to have been an important one for him to want to share with us not once, not twice, but three different times!

Once episode 5.17 aired, we came to find out that he was teasing the domestic Buck and Eddie scene in Christopher's room, right before Eddie leaves for Texas! It was very much a domestic moment, where it was somewhat implied that Buck might've been there watching Christopher, while Eddie was at Claudette’s funeral. Either way, it was wholesome content and a scene in which I believe you can see the obvious shift in their relationship with their interactions!

March 10, 2022

Oliver shares a BTS of John, Ryan, & himself, while they are on break from filming 5.16 “May Day”. You can see them huddled around watching something on someone’s phone. But we get official confirmation from Oliver that Eddie is back as a firefighter (albeit temporarily)! We also see how close Oliver and Ryan are sitting, which to me speaks volumes in terms of their body language both on and off screen!

That photo made me think that we would definitely get a solid Buddie moment, where they are acting like they never stopped being partners. And once the episode aired, I was once more proven right because Eddie was immediately partnered with Buck during the dispatch fire! Not only that, but we got them working so seamlessly together and we got our Buck&Eddie dynamic back, even if it was for one episode!

The fact that Oliver once more teased this episode, knowing the kind of Buddie moment’s we were going to get speaks volumes to me in regards to his behavior. Like I mentioned, his behavior, to me at least, is that of someone who seems to know something, but cannot share with the rest of the class. So he goes about sharing it in different, subtle ways which won’t be too obvious.

He then posts this story to his IG, marking the official 11 day countdown. This would be the first of many more countdown posts to come leading up to the premiere!

Oliver posts a BTS from episode 5.11, marking the 10 day countdown! Not a scene he filmed with Ryan, but it was from the stunt he filmed by himself during the whole Speed homage scene. He was excited for us to see this scene, so it makes sense he would share it!

He then posts a video later on in the evening, right before they were beginning their overnight shoot! This is when they were doing shoots for episode 5.16! Again, very likely he was filming with Ryan, so it makes sense he decided to post beforehand!

Oliver posts a throwback BTS with Ryan from episode 2.01! They are goofing around in between takes. He uses this video as his 8 day countdown post. 

I find it telling that he chose to share a throwback BTS from the first episode we saw Buck and Eddie working as partners, while they were filming Buck and Eddie being partners in 5.16. I think it was a nice way to give us a subtle hint that we will see Buck and Eddie being partners on the field again, which ended up being accurate when we did see them working together in 5.16!

Oliver shares an official promotional video of him promoting the season to his IG story! He captions the video in his story as “Honestly I can’t freaking wait. The show is back and truly as brilliant as it’s ever been. Buckle up.”

This is also the day we get the official promo in which we see Eddie breaking down in his room. We see in the corner there’s someone else there, which we all immediately speculate is Buck. Nothing Oliver himself posted, but here’s a speculation post proven correctly from Oliver’s 1/18/22 post, which does indicate he posted a bts from a scene he was filming with Ryan!

Oliver decides to do another IG live in the middle of the day and chooses to answer very specific questions! The important thing to take from here is what he says about his favorite episodes, which are 5.13 & 5.14!

He emphasizes, “I really like episodes 13 and 14. I think they’re really cool for the characters. Hang on tight for them. There’s some really cool stuff in there.” We come to find out later that those were the episodes in which we get Eddie breaking down, allowing Buck to see him at his most vulnerable. Not only that, but we got optimum Buckley-Diaz family goodness in 5.14. Now, it makes me wonder why exactly these two episodes were Oliver’s favorites of the season and why he teased them as much as he had. I mean I have my own reasoning but I’ll let you all come to your own conclusions! 😏

Oliver shares a promotional 9-1-1 story to his own IG story of Buck from 5.14, which coincidentally happens to be one of Oliver’s favorite episodes. This makes the 2 day countdown until the premiere of 5.11!

Oliver posts a cute BTS video from when they were filming 5.16 “May Day”, the night before the premiere. He also quickly deletes the video! The video he shares was one of Peter, Kenny, Ryan and himself singing “Happy Birthday” to a cast member!

This is multiple times now that he shares something from the filming of 5.16 and first official time he’s included Ryan in a BTS!

March 21, 2022 (Day of 5b Premiere)

The day of the premiere for 5.11, Oliver goes on IG and posts a story telling us that there are a lot of twists and turns coming up in the next 8 episodes! He was also filming a scene for 5.18, which we find later on was a scene with JLH about his inevitable breakup with his girlfriend!

He also likes and comments ‘The talent! 👏🏻’ on this beautiful edit done by SkyHighRollins for the episode! The edit shows Buck and Eddie front and center! Just another example of Oliver interacting with fans’ work in relation to his character and possibly Buddie!

Oliver shares one specific interview that he gave with Access Hollywood. He had done a few but chose to share the one in which he mentions Ryan for a few moments! He then deletes it soon after! He knew we’d eat up him talking about Ryan, so he posted it for us crazies who analyze his social media 😂 Can be absolutely nothing, but can be something. Take what you will!

After this, Oliver goes on a mini hiatus from posting any and all 9-1-1 content to his social media. I believe this was a result of the massive backlash he received after 5.11. We all know what happened with his character in that episode and most of us saw those comments, so I won’t mention it. During this mini hiatus, a lot of people speculated whether or not he would possibly come back to promote episodes 5.13 & 5.14 since they were his favorites of the season. I believed that since it was still soon after all the backlash, that he would continue keeping quiet and let us enjoy the episodes he heavily teased months in advance!

May 2, 2022

Oliver did not post anything, but we finally got to see episode 5.16 “May Day”. This was just to further back up my theory that the video he posted on 2/28/22 of him smirking was because he had just filmed with Ryan a Buddie scene. The scene itself was them after the fire, at the hospital, talking while Buck’s girlfriend and the woman he kissed talked. We got some massive heart eyes in that scene. Not only that, but this was the first time we saw Buck and Eddie working together as partners again. He kept teasing this episode because he knew how much the fans would love this episode!

As we were getting closer to the finale, I silently speculated in my notes, that if Oliver were to come back to Instagram and promote the remaining 2 episodes, he would do so if we were going to get quality Buddie content which would leave us happy/satisfied. The reason for this was because he had teased us 3 different times while filming 5.17, which made me think something good was happening in that episode that would possibly bring him back to IG. I didn’t want to jinx it but it is something I picked up from his previous habits! I was once more proven correct when he came back to IG from his social media hiatus on the night of 5.17, to give us his first 9-1-1 content.

May 9, 2022

After the 5.17 episode aired, Oliver posted his first BTS video of him driving around in a golf cart they use on set. He’s seen doing donuts with the golf cart. This could have possibly been taken during the filming of episode 5.13, since he was in his long sleeved uniform and harness. Or could’ve been from a cut scene later on. I don’t know exactly!

This episode did prove that Oliver was excited about the Buddie scene we got, months before it was set to air. Even though it was a small scene, it was a very domestic one with Buck and Eddie in their son’s room, acting like a married couple. It showcased how well they know one another and how there’s no real secrets kept between the two. Oliver literally teased that one scene at least 3 different times, because he wanted us to know that he was filming a nice moment with Ryan.

The scene he was filming with JLH, in which he also shared, was from later on in the episode, in which we come to find out there is relationship problems brewing with his girlfriend. The end of the scene indicated the beginning of the end of the relationship in which Oliver himself loathed. Of course he was excited to share that as well, months before we found out about that!

Because he made a post on the night of 5.17, I also looked back on all my notes and realized that if and only if the finale was going to leave us fans happy, then he would slowly start posting more each day leading up to the finale. My theory was once again proven correct because the week leading up to the finale, he posted almost every single day. He also slowly started showing us more of his personal life again, while including his countdowns for the finale.

This is the first time Oliver officially promtoes the finale. He posts a BTS video of Buck jumping off the firetruck, looking all badass. Reminds us that the finale is on Monday night. Clearly he is excited and can’t wait for us to see the episode.

He then posts another story. showing us his new cute haircut! Nothing to do with the show, but once more is feeling comfortable in sharing with us again!

May 16, 2022 (Day of the finale)

On the day the finale, he starts the day off by casually liking yet another beautifully done edit by SkyHighRollins! He refrained from liking any of the other ones she’s done recently, but couldn’t help himself and had to show his love!

Oliver then posted an official still of Buck in Eddie’s room, fixing Eddie’s wall. He confirms what we already knew, which was that that we will be getting a Buddie scene. He chose to share it beause he knew we would all appreciate the scene we were going to get. He didn’t prove us wrong either because the scene was once again of Buddie acting like a married couple, while fixing up their, Eddies room.

Then just before the finale, we all got news of the season 6 renewal and Oliver posted these beautiful BTS photos of Aisha, Ryan, and himself during the finale in celebration! Could’ve just included the photo of him and Aisha, but he also shared one of Ryan just because. He also tagged Ryan 😌

Finally, Oliver posted one last story before the premiere which was just a 45 minute countdown until the new episode!

This episode did only have one quality Buck and Eddie scene, but I believe it was a good one showing how soft they are and how once more, they really understand one another. I’ve mentioned before how when it comes to Buddie scenes, I’m all about quality over quantity because their moments on screen show us how perfect they are for each other. I rather have quality moments than multiple scenes that don’t give us anything other than them just existing in the same frame.

This episode also gave us the end of BT and planted seeds in which I believe are Buck and Eddie coming to realize who they want/need in a partner, which we’ll see more of in season 6! I think it’s safe to say this was a good episode overall with everything that happened and going forwards, it establishes the opportunity to make Buck and Eddie canon. But again, this is just my thoughts after watching the episode/season!

All in all, these are Oliver’s social media behaviors during the entirety of season 5! I really do think at this point it’s not a theory anymore because he’s proven time and time again to in fact be posting when and only when he’s filming Buddie scenes/Buddie centric episodes! Thank you all for your patience and love for my insane analysis of Oliver’s behavior online! I’m thinking about making this a series for each season, leading up to Buddie finally getting together. I hope you all enjoy and take away what you will from this post. I’ve simply provided all the information and backed up my findings for you all to do what you will like. I personally believe he’s doing things deliberately because it’s possible that he knows where his character’s storyline is slowly heading. It can also possibly be subconscious on his part because he’s just so excited for us to see all these wonderful Buck and Eddie scenes. Waking up in Australia doesn't feel like it did a few years ago. It'll always be a special place, and I love being close to friends and family, but truly, it's not home anymore. LA is home.

Actually, now that I think about it, I don't know if that's true. I love LA. It's a rich mix of cultures, an incredible place for us to do our work, great friends are there, the weather can't be beat, and I really don't have any complaints about the city. I just know that there are many other cities that I could live with Orion and Duke that would feel like home, too.

That's where home is: with Orion.

I have to check my phone to see where we are today. I know we're in Australia for another few days, but exactly where we are on the continent and what day it is are two things I don't know without looking. When I tap the screen, it lights up with a few notifications and a photo of Orion and Duke hiding behind them as my background.

It’s only 7 am, which means I have a few hours before we’re escorted around for press interviews and then sound check and the show. Most of my notifications are normal stuff, just random emails about bills, each of the boys letting me know they made it back to the hotel safe last night, etc. I have a few texts from Orion, which is what I click first.

From: my love + stars good morning whenever you see this i miss you so much talk to you soon probs ily❤️

To: my love + stars hi good whatever time it is are you up? got time for a chat? xxx i miss you

Her texting bubble doesn't appear for a few moments, so I sigh and click through the rest of my notifications. There's nothing as exciting as hearing from her. I text my mum, who's still with us since we're still in Aus. All of our mums have joined us for the Australia leg, which we all have a love-hate relationship with.

I ask if she wants to grab breakfast with me, and she does, so I quickly get up and put on a shirt, some sweatpants, and a pair of slides in order to meet her in the hallway of the hotel we're at. She grins when sees me and reels me in for a hug as if we haven't spent the past several days together.

"Good morning," I tell her.

"Good morning," she says. "I already looked and found us a place to go, not too far. Are you ready?"

"Yeah, sure."

Mum and I walk through the fluorescent-lit hallway to the elevator, nodding at the security officer standing guard by it. We ride down to the lobby and head out the back door, running into Matt who's standing outside on a phone call that happens to end right as we're walking out.

"Back by 10:30, Hood!"

"Ay, ay, captain," I confirm, saluting him. Matt rolls his eyes and flips me off. I turn to Mum. "Which way is it?"

"Just this way," she says while she checks her phone for verification. She starts walking to the right, turning onto the street. A few fans are waiting, and I just wave and smile at them all. A stray security guy holds them back while Mum and I pass.

We walk about a block before she pulls me into a small cafe. It's busy, which is a good sign. Lots of business must mean it's good, right?

Mum and I stand in silence, both of us scanning the menu that's hanging on the wall. I pick out a basic breakfast sandwich and will just get an unsweetened latte like normal. If Orion were here, she'd scold me for getting something I can get in LA and she would push me to try something unique.

I look back to the menu, trying to see what I think Orion would get if she were here. I find it quickly. A pistachio rose latte and a kimchi bagel. She'd say they don't go together, but she couldn't choose to get only one of the two. They both sound so good, she'd say.

"Have you decided?" I ask Mum.

She nods. "Yeah, I think I'll just get the bacon egg and cheese and a black coffee."

I smile. Our orders are practically the same. "Sounds good. Wanna grab us a table and I'll order?"

"Perfect plan, thank you."

It used to be hard for her to let me pay for things, but thankfully, over time, she has accepted it and lets me pay now without a fight. She makes up for it by spoiling me with Aussie things when she visits the US, making all of my favorite foods while I'm home, helping clean the apartment, and taking Duke on walks.

I order our food and drinks, taking Mum's coffee from the cashier and plopping a few dollars into the tip jar. While I wait for our food, I take Mum her coffee. She's found a table outside under a blossoming tree, and she smiles at the sight of her hot drink.

"Oh, thank you," she says, happily taking the cup from me.

"'Course, Mum. Happy to buy you breakfast anytime."

She smiles, taking a sip of her coffee.

"Can I take a quick photo of you?"

Her smile grows. She's not as bad about it as Orion, but Mum is always asking for photos. "Yes, but we need one of us, too."

I agree, snapping a photo of her smiling under the tree with her coffee, and then pose for a quick selfie with her. "I'm gonna go back inside and wait for the food."

Once back in earshot of the baristas, so I can hear when they call my name, I open my photos again. Carefully, on the photo of my mum at the table, I draw a light blue stick figure on the chair that will be mine in a few moments. I draw some shoulder-length hair and add a pink heart next to it.

I silently curse our situation. I won't be able to call her until after the show tonight, since once Mum and I get back to the hotel we're headed out for interviews. Then we're going straight to soundcheck from interviews, and once sound check is over, we're typically off our phones and watching the opener, getting ready for the show, and just doing our general goofing off together while we get hyped up. Especially since our families are here, we are present in the moment backstage.

“Calum!” A barista calls my name, making me put my phone back in my pocket. I’ll reply to O later. I grab my latte and the two sandwiches and tell her thank you.

I bring the food out to the patio, giving Mum her sandwich and taking a seat on the empty chair. Mum unwraps her food and takes a picture of it.

I laugh. "Since when do you take pictures of your food, Mum?"

Mum smiles and shows me the picture of her sandwich. "I've been texting updates to Orion. You don't think she minds that there's meat on the sandwich, do you?"

I try not to let my chuckle turn into a full laugh. "Mum, I promise, she doesn't care." Orion is a staunch vegetarian — she has no intention of ever eating meat again in her entire life and she's vehemently against the meat industry, but she also would never expect or ask anyone else in her life to feel the same.

A wave of relief washes over her face and she nods. She types out some kind of text to go with the picture and then locks her phone.

"What else are you sending her?"

Her face lights up again and then she unlocks her phone again to show me her chain of texts with Orion. It's a mix of food she's eating, blurry photos of me onstage, sneaky pictures of me and the boys goofing off backstage, and sunsets. Orion's side of the conversation consists of pictures of Duke and Emelia, coffees, and views of sunsets from our balcony.

I had no idea they were talking this much, and I'm almost a little envious of the pieces of their lives they're sharing with each other but not with me. At the same time, I adore that two of the most important people in my entire life are becoming closer, despite living on different continents and having several years of age between them.

"I'm glad you guys are friends," I say, sliding her phone back across the table.

"How can I not love her?" Mum asks.

It's rhetorical and it's true. I am quite biased, but I can't imagine someone not liking Orion once they spend more than a few minutes with her.

"She loves you," I say. I also feel like Orion loves everyone. It's one of her many incredible traits: she sees the good in anyone and anything.

Mum scoffs. "She loves you."

My cheeks get hot with that and I can't help but smile. "Yeah, I mean, the feeling's mutual."

The day flies by. It's a whirlwind of interviews and drives to other interviews and then we're back at the venue, our families all waiting for us backstage.

"Soundcheck in 20, boys!" Matt yells out before he disappears down a hallway. His job never ends.

"Hey, I'm gonna go call O really quick. Haven't gotten to talk to her at all today," I tell Ashton, turning toward the dressing room.

"Yeah, of course, tell her I say hi?"

I nod, patting his shoulder.

"Wait, we all say hi!" Luke yells.

"Actually, I say hey!" Michael follows up, and I just roll my eyes at their antics.

While I walk, I'm tapping around on my phone to call her. I press the phone to my ear and walk into the dressing room, flopping onto the couch as it starts to ring.

It rings three times before she picks up.

"Hi."

Her tone is curt, short, and neutral. She's mad. I brace myself for impact.

"Hi, how was your day?"

"Fine."

She's not giving me anything here, and I wince. My absence from her today must have her feeling upset. I wish she'd just say that, but I also know that she's told me several times that she has been having a hard time adjusting to life without me there with her, and I've basically ignored her all day. I can understand why she might be unhappy with me.

"I'm sorry I've not been texting much today, it's just so busy with our families here and the press all day."

Orion's side of the call is quiet for a few seconds while she calculates the right thing to say. That's how she is when she's upset: calculated. It's either incredibly calculated or she can't hold any of her emotions back. There's no in between. The precision comes when she's been stewing on something for a while.

"Joy didn't seem to have a problem with keeping up with me today. Or yesterday. Or any of the other days that y'all have been in Aus. I think Ashton has texted me more than you have, and we aren't dating."

I don't doubt that Mum has been texting her more than I have, but Ashton? If he's in contact more than we are, then I definitely feel like I've been slacking. It's been a long time since I've been in a committed relationship while on the road. I realize that while Orion and I were together the last time we did a big tour, she didn't realize we were actually dating.

I feel my heart drop a few inches. I don't know what I expected. We live together and have spent so much time together that I don't have a lot of experience with us being apart anymore. I feel like I've been making an effort to stay connected to Orion, but maybe I haven't been making enough of an effort.

Orion sighs and I realize I've been thinking for too long.

"Fuck, I'm sorry, that came off more harsh than I meant it—"

"No, you're fine," I say, cutting her off. "I'm sorry."

I am. She's the most important person in my life, and she deserves to feel like she is.

"Do you want to send me your class and work schedule? I can get Matt to give me mine for the week every week, and each week we can plan a time for each day that we can talk?" It's the most logical way—find a gap and cement it with time for her.

"Cal," she says sadly. Was that not what I should've said?

"I'm sorry, O, is scheduling a time not good for you? I want you to feel like—"

"No, sorry, I just... we don't have to talk on the phone." Her voice is still quiet and veiled in a thin layer of sadness.

"What do you mean?"

"I mean, it's nice to hear your voice. I just wish you'd take a few seconds to reply to my texts, even if it's just a heart or something, or if you're headed into an interview just give me that heads up." Her words are still slow, like she's tiptoeing across them like rocks in a stream. "I appreciate calls, just more consistency throughout the day, I guess, would be nice?"

Today especially, I've been pretty much offline. Aside from the handful of texts I'd sent her this morning, it's been almost 7 hours since I last texted her. Yesterday wasn't that different, and neither was the day before. I know that she's right. I really haven't been talking to her that much.

"Yeah, of course, I'll be better—"

"Sorry, and I don't want to be a girlfriend who wants to hear back from you instantly every time and I don't mean that you can't just, like, live in the moment and have fun with everyone. I don't want you to feel like you have to be on your phone constantly to keep me happy, either."

Here it is, the side of Orion where she doesn't have a filter to keep some thoughts inside.

"O, I don't think you're being unreasonable," I say, hoping that'll calm her mind a little. "I will try to be better."

Orion sighs again. "Thank you."

"How was your day today?" I ask. I think our crisis is averted. "It's Sunday there, right?"

"Oh, it was fine. Macy came over and we watched a few movies. Oh, and we split a bottle of wine and watched the sunset on the balcony. That was nice."

I wish I could've watched the sunset on the balcony with her. I remember when we first moved in, Orion would set a timer for 10 minutes before the sunset every night so we could go watch it. After the first night, she insisted we get more mirrors so that the colors can reflect all over the house. We have dozens of pictures of us sitting in golden hour together on that balcony.

It's not happening anytime soon, but one day, when I propose, I'm either doing it on that balcony or on a balcony in Madrid (at sunset of course.)

"Sounds like you and Macy are hanging out a lot?"

Orion laughs. "Yeah, I really like her. She's fun. How's today? I know Joy's been having a great day. The mums all went to get pedicures."

I'd wondered how they were filling their time while we were off with press. Orion isn't even here and she knows more about what the others are doing than I do.

"Oh, y'know," I say. "Same as always. Interviews where I don't really talk, bullying Luke. Walked around a park with Mum this morning."

"Cal, I always tell you. Bullying your best friends isn't okay."

"Babe, he knows we're joking."

"Cal," she warns, and I can picture her stern expression. If she were here, she'd be wagging a finger at me.

"Don't say it," I plead.

"As your former best friend Harry Styles says, treat people with kindness." Not this again.

Ever since she found out that we opened for One Direction, she brings them up constantly. 'Did you see what Louis posted?' she'd ask. 'Can you ask Liam if he still has that beanie?' or 'How did you not know Harry worked at a bakery? You were best friends for two years!'

This bit is arguably my favorite recurring one that she does. It makes me laugh every time. She says it to the rest of the band sometimes, too. Instead of quoting the Bible as instruction to be kind, she quotes our 'former best friend' Harry.

Our conversation is interrupted when Matt bangs on the door to the dressing room.

"Five minute warning, Cal!"

Damn it. Already?

"Babe, I'm sorry, but it's almost time for soundcheck. Did you have anything else you wanted to talk about?"

"No, no, I'm good. I'm sorry for being snippy earlier. I'm glad we got to talk for a bit, even if it wasn't too long," she says.

"It's okay. You're allowed to get snippy," I assure her. "It's always great to hear your voice. Oh, and before I go, Ash and Luke say hi and Michael says hey."

She giggles. "Tell them I say howdy."

I laugh, shaking my head. Always has to be a little different. "Will do. Gonna let you go. I love you very much, and will text you when soundcheck is over?"

"Sounds good. I love you very much, too. Bye."

"Bye."

3. River Song: Doctor who: we have the same hair so immediately yes. She also has one of the best and most heartbreaking arcs in cinema history and I will fight about it. She destroyed the universe to save her husband then said “I don’t do weddings” and honestly…I get it bc same

4. Castiel: Supernatural: MY SON DESERVED BETTER. He lost his home, his family, his faith, everything he had known for THOUSANDS of years because he fell in love with humanity Dean. He constantly tried his best and yes messed up but was always treated so harshly as if he didn’t have to LEARN how to have human morals and the only people he had to base off of was the boys who are in no way a good bar to measure that by

5. Amber: House of Anubis: oooh pretty ditzy blonde girl comic relief character- but she becomes one of the most fully fleshed out deep characters and ends up being the reason they solve most of the riddles and find the artifacts. She loves her shopping and texting but when the heat is up she always rises to the challenge and shows out. Queen of my heart

6. Flame Princess: Adventure Time: raised to be evil but falls in love and has to learn how not to harm people even though it 100% goes against her nature. And even after all that she is still treated like a villain by everyone but Finn basically. I have ASPD and I constantly feel like I also have to be something I’m not in order to not harm the people around me and the ones who let me be me are few and far between. She is me I am her

7. Sherlock: See above lol, he has ASPD (sociopathy) and so do I. Plus I’m studying to be a CSI. Seeing a character with my same illness shown in the real raw form and not like the “yeah they’re a sociopath but their character arc is learning how to be a good person!” Ew. They let him be cruel and clever and just authentically HIM. Of course he’s checked when necessary but ultimately no one ever tells him he needs to be fixed because of it bc they understand that part of him can’t be changed

8. House: kind if similar as above. I don’t super love the drugs but he takes no shit and dicks around because he knows he’s the best there is. Endless pranks, self destructive tendencies, smartest person you’ll ever meet, what more could you ask for? It’s also super awesome to watch a character/show that isn’t so focused on being “politically correct” that it forgets how to make good jokes.

9. Sejanus: The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes (book): People say Katniss is Lucy’s revenge but NO she’s Sejanus’ revenge, and so is Peeta. Sejanus was the one who hated the games, tried to actually help the tributes and districts and stop the games. He wanted revolution way back when Snow was a teenager and didn’t even live to see it. The only difference between him and Everlark is the fact that they had a whole rebellion ready to back them. He should have been alive to take the place of Coin/Snow and I stand by that.

10. J.B. Merlin: Bundle of Joy: this is so crazy niche if anyone knows it DM me immediately I’m begging you. An absolute icon this entire movie. The center of a comedy miscommunication trope. Has no idea what’s going on but refuses to let his son walk out on his baby (that’s not actually his but he thinks it is), immediately assumes the baby was named after him, then delivers the iconic line “I don’t care who the father is! I’M the grandfather” homie wanted a grandkid and didn’t care what he had to do to get one 😂 10/10 wholesome character

Gonna make this two posts because it's... it's gonna be so long. Part One: C/huuya~

🤧: What does their sneeze sound like? (Description, spelling, or both!)

Something little but fiesty, like him <3 Sooo, kinda vocal, you definitely can hear his voice in it, and if you know him well enough, you'll be able to tell from another room that it was him. Somethin' like "hh'ayshhhuh-! ak'yiezzshoo-! kih'tiezshhiew-!" BUT, if it's a bad itch, or allergy, and he's not managing to stifle, it'll sometimes dip into rapid, and that's more like "ashh- yieshh- ayyshhh'oo-! arshhh- krshhh- kashhh'oo-!" but those are more rare for him. He also stifles or half-stifles quite often. "engxt-! nkKxt-! hk'enXTiew-! nkXGT'shiew-! hd'tshhiew-!"

😩: Do they tend to sneeze just once or twice, or multiple times? Do they have fits frequently or rarely? Does how many times they sneeze depend on the cause?

If it's just a natural, no cause, maybe he'll get one/two. But most of the time it's caused by a smell, allergy, sickness, or wine <3. And in all of those cases, he'll be lucky to get less then five. However, in his defense, they're usually a bit spread out, not super rapid. (unless it's a really bad tickle~)

😭: When they’re sick, do they try to downplay their symptoms, or do they treat every little cold like the plague? Do they whine a lot, or do they complain quietly or even just in their head?

Somehow both?? He's definitely a "I'm fine, leave me alone" type of person, denial till the very end, he's ALWAYS okay and will work through anything. But at the same time, if he's feverish enough, or with people he feels safe with, if he's vulnerable, he'll be the type to complain. Sneeze, whine, gasp, repeat. But this is very rare for him, you can count the amount of time's it's happened on one hand. He's also the type to complain but about others, not his own symptoms. So if he has a headache, any noise or bright light or annoyance (Dazai <3) is suddenly 10 times more annoying, and worth complaining over. But if it gets into genuine complaining territory, not playful asshole banter, he immediately stops.

💦: How wet are their sneezes? Do they spray barely at all, or are you gonna need an umbrella? Do they try to cover at all, or just let it go? Do they sniffle a lot when they’re sick or allergies are bugging them?

Not really wet, though because he'll have longer fits, and tends to get congested from them, there will definitely be a light mist by the end. He also covers, absolutely, with his gloves, or hat, or an arm, unless he's too feverish, or specifically trying to annoy someone. Also he does sniffle, like a lot, despite trying to blow his nose to make it stop. It happens anyways, whether from irritation, congestion, or just instinct/habit. He annoys himself with it at times <3

😳: Are they embarrassed by their sneezes, or do they just not really care? Do they apologize after sneezing? Do they say “sorry!” or “excuse me!” or anything like that? If they’re embarrassed about it, why?

Embarrassed. He doesn't like any show of weakness, and honestly... the humanity aspect wrapped up in it makes him a bit uncomfortable at times. He likes feeling human, but it brings up complicated thoughts he doesn't want to address. He won't apologize, though if he's not really thinking about it, (or if he's with people he trusts/respects) an 'scuse me' will slip out here and there. Pluuuus, his sneezes are rather distinct, with the 'iew' sounds especially, and how much of his voice is in them, so he tends to feel quite embarrassed by their volume. (especially compared to some of his co-workers with MUCH more 'Mafia Appropriate' sneezes.)

📝: Quick! Come up with a scenario for them! It doesn’t have to be anything fancy, just something you think would be cute or something you’d like to see with them!

Thanks to you, 'wine snz Chuuya' has been LIVING in my mind, but honestly feverish Chuuya always lives there too, so let's see if I can combine them into something awful~ (feat. Soukoku bc... well... I just can't take how much I love them~)

Dazai arrives at the Mafia HQ, fully intending on tormenting his dear Chibi. I mean, it's been nearly a week since his last torment session, he's going into withdrawl.

He expected a bit of resistance, maybe a challenge, some banter, possibly even a punch. What he didn't expect was to find Chuuya nearly passed out at his desk, empty bottle on the floor, glass precariously tilted in his hand.

He rouses at the footsteps, gazing up at Dazai with eyes clouded by alcohol and... something else. He manages a deeply slurred "H'llo thr D- Dazz... Dahhhzai!" Followed by a barely covered rapid fit.

Well, definitely drunk. Though judging by the congestion soaking through the corners of his words, pretty sick too. This can't be good. With a moment of kindness he'd never admit to later, Dazai takes it upon himself to bring Chuuya home.

Upon touching him, he expects the normal feeling of powers being stripped. The heat however, comes as an unwelcome surprise.

BLAH BLAH he takes Chuuya home, Chuuya drunk snz the whole time, Chuuya too fevered to take care of himself so Dazai has to help him, clingy drunk/feverish Chuuya grabs his arm and won't let go, so Dazai has to lay on the couch with Chibi on his chest, and then some vulnerability stuff happens, including Chuuya admitting that he was drinking to try and cope with the nightmares that come with the fever dreams </3

THAT WAS WAYYYY TOO LONG- I'm so sorry <333 but also thank you for the ask!!! I love my guys 😭😭 NOW ONTO PART TWO! (and also uh... I very well may write that fic bc I've been wanting to write some more Soukoku angst lately, but I make no promises for how fast I'd do it haha~)

In one of the houses we lived in, the previous family grew strawberries in the garden. When summer arrived so did the ripe strawberries. I literally remember once having strawberries for lunch

My oldest memory is probably watching my mom paint. I remember blues and reds. My mom is actually an artist but I seem to have missed the gene because I can't even draw a proper circle

(Ironically enough I draw straight lines really well jagsjsgkdha)

when i was little, till i was like 6/7 years old, we used to live with my grandparents cause they had a big house. i loved playing around there, i would literally spend my afternoons wandering around the house in search of stuff to do. the thing i remember the most was using my grandpa's computer (running windows xp) and playing minesweeper. some years later i would've done the same thing with purble place, i was obsessed with that game 😭

another thing i remember from those years was going to the park which was right behind my house and going around with my winx scooter. and this my folks is the reason why i can't ride a bike! (i also had a bike but never used it lol)

oh i also remember watching the fantasia vhs on my grandparents' tv over and over again. that was Something (i loved that movie a normal amount)
