The trick to writing a smut scene for a het pairing from the mans POV is to make him absolutely wrecked. He needs to be full on simping. It doesn't matter if that's not "realistic"- if that dude is taking himself seriously to an unbearable degree, if he's only thinking about himself and his wants- if he's hung up on things like virginity/proving virginity, and pleasure is wholly centered around him- it's ALWAYS going to come off gross and unsexy.
It's supposed to be fantasy, and if your audience is primarily women, then you're writing for the female gaze.
Thanks for coming to my TED talk

What if Deadpool and spider punk met?
(Not like in a romantic way I just picture pure chaos taking place)
aight i’ll give it a go..
something very Important To Me in the spider-man and deadpool relationship (gen) is the theme of voluntary change for the better. deadpool’s morals don’t match up with spidey’s, but spidey matters enough to him to want to be good. redemption arcs my beloved
in 616, deadpool is a mercenary, and that doesn’t jive with peter parker’s no-killing policy. hobie, however, has no such qualms, thus the flavor of 138 dp’s divergence must be altered; i’m thinking he might’ve been a retired/fired police officer, or he took government-sponsored merc jobs without caring who the target was—somethin a little fucked up like that idk
then he meets spider-punk. initially, deadpool is obsessed the way you’re obsessed with your friends’ favorite celebrities—loudly, annoyingly, facetiously. hobie at first dislikes him, but doesn’t consider him a big enough player to hate, and since punk’s core moral of radical kindness allows for second chances, he offers dp the opportunity to turn his back on the State. slowly deadpool acclimates to punk values and community, finds himself upholding core tenets of the revolution even when it means he loses out on big fat wads of fascist blood money, and becomes a scene kid

slight spoilers for downpour (a certain plot point, srs’ design and new dialogue) but it’s nothing too major, though i will tag it anyway just in case
anyway—enjoy!

hm hm hm i feel like this will be really interesting to read with the knowledge of korra and how that effected her instead.... because korra (from my limited knowledge so i could be talking out my ass here) knew she was the avatar at an early age and DID get that community. she had katara and her parents, she had her mentors, she was isolated from the real world during so and perfected the elements other than air (which i kinda recall her struggling with and how its the opposite element of earth so im excited to see if those kinda play out :3) and she was more eager to be the avatar and the excitement and significance it brought (which was a bit clouded by her being sheltered but also would have been expected more before the war impacted things)
i also remember matty saying kyoshi struggled with earth bending (which im super excited to get to and see/see her journey and how it will differ) but!!! i just think its really fun how theyre kinda off the bat setting up this expectation and new grounding for readers who have a past grasp of the avatar universe. even as someone who isnt super familiar with the lore, i know enough to recognize that oh! thats something new!! so just kudos to the writer(s?) for just setting this up to be something very different and in a natural way :3

It's so impossible to convince anyone to watch Lawrence of Arabia 😭 it's like "oh yeah there's this film! And it's so well done and beautiful!! The cinematography and the music is insane! The history and the characters are so interesting!!! It's even pretty reminiscent of that other film you like: Dune!!!! ....but its *cough cough* four hours long..."

Okay, I got back from Everything Everywhere All At Once, I have some thoughts:
1. I demand more movies about figuring things out as an adult please. I am only in my mid 20s and I've already reached my lifetime "children have to save the world" movie quota, and I can only imagine it gets worse from this point forward.
I need to know that I can continue to change, that there will still be opportunities as I get older. Michelle Yeoh can, and should, play every upcoming role designed for whichever is the current <20 year old heartthrob.
2. Holy Shit this was a difficult movie for someone who has a rough relationship with their mother, especially when they fought yesterday...I know she would hate this movie, and that she wouldn't want to understand it either.
3. How do I find a person who is just happy doing laundry and taxes with me 😭💔 asking for a friend because I'm lonely

in honor of yesterday being d(wam) update day — heres a few headshots i’ve been sketchin up!
starting off with the main boys.
random thoughts i had while drawing them below the cut
wallys hair is always messed up by the wind OR he has cowl head so…he has stoped trying to control it, but tbh that gives it a very cute almost intentionally disheveled look
this is dicks “natural, bare faced, low effort, no makeup makeup look”… but between his hair and his face he’s probably using anywhere between 40 & 60 products
Roy is a vape lord... im sorry you can fight me on this. He would smoke cigarettes but he doesn’t like the grime of it. Plus he likes that with vaping he can get more nicotine with less puffs. He does occasionally smoke ciagars with Ollie tho.
also i think he has his tongue pierced bc its hot
