It's a "don't like don't read" thing but there's also AUs I have where they are fully different people. Like, in my stardew/Four Hoes au it's up to interpretation. I didn't think much about it because I didn't consider them to be the same guy but it's like, up to the viewer if there's a magical hoe that link picked up and it split him into multiple people, or if they're all just different guys with the same legal name lol.
Overall I just like their dynamics, I enjoy them both as a "literally the same person" ship and as "they're just random guys" ship- however, I think the "literally the same person" concept can be more interesting to dig into in terms of identity and what it means to be ones self, so in terms of really thinking about them. You don't even need to ship them to like that concept, I think shipping them on top of it just adds flavour to the idea. Some good ol' existential crisis.... together !
I can 100% see the sibling reading and I don't mind it at all ! I think having multiple readings to a source of media is fine, GOOD even, and I get if that makes you uncomfortable with the FS links being shipped together. It's why I tag explicit ship art, so it can be filtered out.
I'm also aromantic, however that just means that when I ship stuff in fiction, it's rarely ever because I want something like that IRL. it's just a fun way of playing with dolls to me :]

Gosh do I want a happy ending more then almost anything in this planet. I just want to get to be met equal on my level. Someone who I don’t have to fear will see a side of me and bolt but if anything I don’t have to sensor at all and can just get me because they accept me as I am no need for explanation on any quirk or fear or trait I have that they find unusual.
A dude who doesn’t lie or cheat like really that shouldn’t be such a challenge to come across but here I am still haven’t met one that I’ve dated or had interest in so it must be said lol. Sadly.
I just wanna be straightening out a coffee table with papers scattered and stumble across him doodling my name in hearts or his last name with my first one. Maybe even just initials in hearts or his + mine in a heart or brainstormed ship names of our two names combined together. I’d just smile and say nothing of course continue to finish straightening up and organizing the table to it’s picturesque state when not in use but damn would I be a melted marshmallow of a heart because finally I found someone who loves me s’more then they express and it’s not just lip service but they mean it cuz even when I’m not around nor can they use it to sway me or personal gains of some kind like ego boosted verification they still think about me that way and it’s real.
My how long it’s been since someone truly loved me purely just because. How I miss having phone calls and conversations with someone special like that. Where my heart felt home and my soul understood where I could breathe. Where I was safe.
I don’t know if I’ll ever find a new heart to call home. Maybe im just doomed to be homeless but I still have hope. Daydreams of having a song that he turns on when I get in the car or puts on the mall food court music video text in to play while we’re holiday shopping. Writes me notes on the bathroom mirror telling me how pretty he thinks that girl I see reflected back is and reminder to not forget my smoothie in the fridge etc. Hope for a flower crown to wear instead of a bouquet of roses because I’m not a roses girl and hate not being able to show off when I have pretty flowers let alone can’t appreciate them as much in a vase at home; rather wear them about and brag to everyone who compliments or asks that my amazing person had it made or made it for me cuz he’s sweeter then all the bees who pollinated these to make it possible for such beauty.
I am not jealous type. I’m not going to chase after you to prove I care deeply for you because if you’re leaving you’re going to go I can’t stop you and I won’t put myself through that nor let you push me down to look pathetic just to feel like you won in who cared less. It’s not something to be proud of winning anyway. I won’t lie or boost your ego with lies. I don’t need to talk every second. I am shy I will need to meet your inner circle slowly but I do want to meet them just not where I am in a full blown anxiety breakdown on a weekly basis from all the new and overwhelming introductions which is pressure and can be too much. I’m the girl who will stick up for you and also not back down from you. I’ll be through hell and back with you but don’t think that means I won’t leave if you start to run around with hoes or being a hypocritical narcissist being cruel. You’ll never find someone more on your team than I or love you authentically for all your flaws and skills but if you want basic then I am not the girl for you because I’m anything but ordinary I’m extra ordinary.
