The revelation of Lena sending Gwen to deliver the name and address to Mr. Bonzo begs the question - how much is the UK government aware of what the OIAR is doing? Is the OIAR the means for carrying out Britain's most illicit dirty work? Is Lena using Mr. Bonzo to assassinate enemies of the state?? Because I'm just imagining a group of seasoned anarchists huddled in a basement somewhere planning the Gunpowder Plot 2.0, and instead of MI6 or whatever busting in to dismantle them, a giant oozing mascot suit from the 90s shows up on their doorstep screaming its own name. How do you even regroup and recover from that psychologically.

Probably the one millionth person to observe this, but it seems like Americans can intimately understand for themselves that citizens of their state have little control over the actions of the state, don't necessarily agree with or understand the actions of the state, and might be actively harmed by the actions of the state... but have a lot of trouble imagining that this could also be true for people in other parts of the world.

Excuse me while I cry over this amazing community garden,,,

they hold workshops and craft nights one of which was a seed bomb making night! They had a full moon party, they have local bands play with bond fires and you can make s'mores while listening to music in this garden at night!! They have soup nights!! they hold karate classes in this garden!!! They have punk flags and a zine station!!

Just imagine you get a space to garden and hang out sure, but you also get a place to hang out, for free!! (without capitalism gross hands holding you back) you get to have some pumpkin soup and some s'mores, read a book in, listen to music in a free space. hang out with your friends, neighbors, family, do a yoga class, have movie nights.

Between this, the community laundry mat, and the community pub, i can almost feel what a solarpunk community could feel like. Like these arent in the same community or city, but if you could do it could you imagine how awesome life could be??

some of my fellow leftists need to understand that your opinions on how the government should be overturned mean nothing if you dont set up community and mutual aid and that the easiest way to do this, at least in appalachia, is through the church. churches feed the poor and preach to them. its real fuckin hard to hate trans people or POC or minorities and preach hate against them if they volunteer to help your community
